Benny Hinn – Miracle Service in Durban – 13 Mar 2010

Benny Hinn is Back is South Africa
To Con the living daylights out of People who don’t read their bibles.
So Benny ‘$1000, that’s $1000 for salvation, $1000, …going…going…gone. Sold to the man in the back’ Hinn is back in SA. Woe to us.
If words don’t get the message across, maybe a little cartoon will. The below two cartoons are from Sundays English and Afrikaans newspapers – 2010-02-27.

The Afrikaans version of the cartoon below, is different from the English version. Did they censor it so as to not offend their readers? Do they think English people can handle the truth and Afrikaans people can’t? Or what? I’m confused…

Ponder, ponder…

“.. to con the living daylights outta people who don’t read the Bible”
It saddens me when I visit a church and see so many people arriving without a Bible, but perhaps that is because most pastors these days don’t bother to read it from the pulpit either. Instead they prefer to paraphrase, or quote (if you are lucky) selected verses, often out of context. E.g. my favorite pet peeve : Joel Osteen who asks them to hold up their Bibles, recite a nice little statement and then never tells them to actually crack it open. Sad.
Hopefully, if that charlatan of charlatans is not in SA yet, he may be denied entry, as he was in the UK.
If in doubt, keep him out… and I hope that the SA authorities do just that.
[Edited 2 Mar 2010: See Related posts below. I already have the article about him being denied entry into the UK under my related posts article, thanks for brining it to our attention again :)]

Question?
How can we get video footage of the Durban meeting???
My reason for the question is that we are able to discern what the man said.
Elmarie
Benny Hinn has headoffice in SA, might even be in Durban. Give em a call and find out if you can get a dvd of the show.
Nose to the ground, lol lol I was not aware of that. Man oh man if that is the case it is even worse than I though.
So waar, you are correct, you got to be kidding me. Well yes it just goes to show.

Special Notice:
Benny Hinn Ministries strictly follows security and privacy guidelines, as well as auditorium/coliseum policies, to allow each service to be enjoyed by all who attend. Back packs, coolers, food brought from outside the venue, and/or video cameras are expressly prohibited during all services.
Well now are video / cameras always prohibited, I ask because I don’t know. What will the reason be?? What have they to hide??
Elmarie
I think they don’t want people taking photo’s of Benny Hinn and selling them with fake autographs as no money will be going into his ministry. hahaha
Ok the Durban thing will be held at Durban Christian Centre
Note it is called the,
The Jesus Dome
The octagonal, dome structured church building, is based upon the fact that the very first church buildings that were built, were built with eight sides. Eight being the number of resurrection, and reaching out in every direction with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is built with an aluminium roof, which is the largest of it’s kind in the Southern Hemisphere, and the third largest in the world. Great care has been taken to eliminate maintenance as much as possible. This landmark building now stands at the entrance of the city, next to the main freeway, as a testimony to the faithfulness of God, as well as Christian witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Elmarie
oh for crying out loud. 8 the number of ressurection? I think not. Last year the Apostles and Prophets said that 8 was the number of New Beginnings. Someone’s got their numerology all messed up.
>>>Great care has been taken to eliminate maintenance as much as possible.<<<
Yes what else was eliminated, I don't have to answer we all know.
hmmmmm
Phew Debs yes i agree with you.
The pastor at Lewende Woord Brumeria preached about the very same subject you are talking about.
I am also saying oh for crying out loud. lol
wha ha ha ha, It is obiously not even neccesary to discern BH.
oops pressed the send button before i was done..lol
I wanted to add that it is obviously clear that my intention to discern BH sayings and sighns and wonders, will be like all the other, unless he pulls a new trick from his hat.
Yip
Ok that says it all wow yes talking about can of worms.
Durban Christian Centre pastors Bio.
Pastor Fred Bio
Fred Roberts was raised in a Christian home his parents were converted under the Ministry of John G. Lake.
Miracles are the norm and not the exception in his church. His wife, Nellie, ministers alongside him and is a significant reason for his success. She is a powerful prophetess in her own right.
Pastor Nellie Bio
She has raised four children and has a great spiritual resource when it comes to family matters.
Pastor John Bio
Through his preaching of Gods Word, his ability to flow strongly in the gifts of the Spirit, and his unique ability to lead others into life-transforming worship, Pastor Torrens aims to bring a new dimension to Christian living which gives all believers clear insight into the glorious, powerful life available to them today.
oh my word need I find more..no I dont think so
Elmarie:
The Benny Hinn crusade videos/DVDs are edited for time and offered through Benny Hinn Ministries.
The videos/DVDs are also edited for things Hinn doesn’t want the public to see…
Bud Press
I wonder how much he would charge me to give him a piece of my mind…
Bud Press
Yes I was on the DCC website. I’m sure we will see something in the press about the usual claims to fame they make.
Oh for crying out loud this man has just always given me the creeps…..sorry but I just had to say it.
Say no more.
serv.of.Christ Gerard Willemse
>>I wonder how much he would charge me to give him a piece of my mind…<<
I read Isiah 29 last night and you know it helped me allot to have more understanding about what is happening in the world.
Isaiah 29 : 8-24(Amplified Bible)
8It shall be as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, but he wakens with his craving not satisfied; or as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but he wakens and is faint, and his thirst is not quenched. So shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion.
9Stop and wonder [at this prophecy, if you choose, whether you understand it or not; soon you will witness the actual event] and be confounded [reluctantly]! Blind yourselves [now, if you choose; take your pleasure] and then be blinded [at the actual occurrence]. They are drunk, but not from wine; they stagger, but not from strong drink [but from spiritual stupor].
10For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep. And He has closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, He has covered and muffled.
11And the vision of all this has become for you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot, for it is sealed.
12And when the book is given to him who is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray you, he says, I cannot read.
13And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips but remove their hearts and minds far from Me, and their fear and reverence for Me are a commandment of men that is learned by repetition [without any thought as to the meaning],
14Therefore, behold! I will again do marvelous things with this people, marvelous and astonishing things; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their discerning men will vanish or be hidden.
15Woe to those who [seek to] hide deep from the Lord their counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, Who sees us? Who knows us?
16[Oh, your perversity!] You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be considered of no more account than the clay? Shall the thing that is made say of its maker, He did not make me; or the thing that is formed say of him who formed it, He has no understanding?
17Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field and the fruitful field esteemed as a forest?
18And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and out of obscurity and gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.
19The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice and exult in the Holy One of Israel.
20For the terrible one [the Assyrian enemy] shall come to nought, and the scoffer shall cease, and all those who watch for iniquity [as an occasion for accusation] shall be cut off–
21Those who make a man an offender and bring condemnation upon him with a word, and lay a trap for him who upholds justice at the city gate, and thrust aside the innocent and truly righteous with an empty plea.
22Therefore thus says the Lord, Who redeemed Abraham [out of Ur and idolatry], concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not then be ashamed; not then shall his face become pale [with fear and disappointment because of his children's degeneracy].
23For when he sees his children [walking in the way of piety and virtue], the work of My hands in his midst, they will revere My name; they will revere the Holy One of Jacob and reverently fear the God of Israel.
24Those who err in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur [discontentedly] will accept instruction.
A thought on Benny Hinn.
I genuinely fear for all those who are fooled by the deception of Benny Hinn.
What will you all do when true deception comes?
How will you be able to withstand the demonic deception coming soon to a city near you?
I believe that it stems from a lack of Bible knowledge.
Lazy Christians wanting others to study the Bible for them. Remember the manna in the Old Testament? It was to be collected daily by each person. One could not collect it for someone else.
Please people, wake up now before it is too late.
BEREAN
It would be a waste of time to go to the meetings; it would be a waste of time to seek video footage to watch! The leopard has not changed his dots…. he did not renounce ANY of his old habbits or ways of conducting meetings! –
exposing this man is toooooo long to be printed out here (my research+docs)!
so here are (at least) three very good links: http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/unmasked_____benny_hinn.html [Edited by DTW: Great Christian website, very reliable info]
and
http://www.csicop.org/si/show/benny_hinn_healer_or_hypnotist/ [EDITED by DTW: Not a Christian website, but good info on Benny Hinn]
and
http://www.satansrapture.com/bennyhinn.htm (EDITED by DTW: The guy who runs this site is not kosher. His info on Benny Hinn might be ok, however I would not trust him on anything else he says. He used to be involved with Sherry Shriner and uses the Bible Code to predict stuff)
FACT IS:
He uses hypnosis; he is involved with necromancy; he uses pressure points on the body when he touches people.
naaaah, don’t waste time on this one! he even dresses like Kathryn Kuhlman – white clothes, gold dressings.
Oh I forgot! there are hundreds of video’s on YOU Tube. But why does anyone wants to spend hours and hours watching false teaching INSTEAD of spend hours and hours in the WORD OF GOD, getting it in your whole system, so you can discern when anyone does anything “out of the ordinary” that is: outside the Borders of the Word of God.
C
>> he even dresses like Kathryn Kuhlman – white clothes, gold dressings.
Even walks like her. *shivers*
Cecilia
Got your point 100%. Thanks.
You are correct the leopard never changes dots or suit colours not even when he changes continents. ha ha
My reason for the question on how to get dvd to discern was purely for wanting to know which church in SA will want to
even invite this man to speak. Which I did a crash course on as above posts show. I Never had to copy and paste so quicly in my life. lol.
I was also able to find out the church he was/is at in Durban DCC. I have family that goes there!!. That shocked me!!. I was not aware of who DCC was until I checked it out very quickly. I have since heeded the warning bells to my family. They told me one day about 10/11 months ago they like BH. I could not heed the warning then because I did not know what discernment was. 10/11 months ago I was also still involved in one these charismatic churches for 6 months and the whole charade.
If I did not pose the quesion, would I have been able to warn my family?
They will also leave DCC soon and I pray for it. This family is also currently not in SA, but overseas for 4 weeks. My question is why did they choose to go overseas now. I just Thank the Lord for his mercy, that my family was not at those services. If they where in SA they would have attended BH charade without a doubt.
I understand, E! praying with you! Keep standing then!
Sinister Ministers
Benny Hinn “The wicked are piling up the funds and I love the way John [Avazini] teaches on this. He’s the best there is on how to get the wealth of the wicked. Man, I like it!” (Praise-a-Thon, TBN, 6th November 1990.)
Years later Hinn states “Ask God to give you the wealth of the wicked and mean it” (February 28, 1997 Blaisedell center)
Benny Hinn has people chant for their wealth “Say after me, all of you, everybody say it, ‘The wealth of the wicked is mine.’ [The audience repeats.] One more time. [The audience repeats.] One more time. [The audience repeats.]” (Praise-a-Thon, TBN, April 1990)

Old news but the leopard will never change his spots.
Hey Guys,
Interesting article and comments on Benny Hinn… strange character he is.
May I ask a question or 2?
Elmarie, you talk about Lewende Woord Brumeria… are you in the community? Reason I ask is because I had the privilage of going there for a baptism and I found the lord. Quite a day I must tell you…
Anyway, may I have your thoughts on Dr Jack van Impe and Rod Parsley?
Thank you,
Ruoall
Ruoall
Did you find Jesus because of Lewende Woord or because you were seeking Jesus Christ in your heart and you gave your life to Him at this (church) – in other words, it was just the place and time?
Jack van Impe and Rod Parsley are false through and through. And he is not a propper Dr. A whole bunch of falsies received their Dr. designates from Oral Roberts university…well…just because.
Do you read your bible?
Your asked in another comment here: http://www.discerningtheworld.com/2009/11/30/to-tattoo-or-not-too-tattoo-that-is-the-biblical-question/#comment-9024 about a tattoo you have. I think this comment of yours and the one of the tattoo belong together – helps people reading your comments understand you better 🙂

Here are some Prophetic word from the LW website. Would you say it is Biblical??

“nag”.
oopbreek? “Konsternasie op die stasie!”
Ek glo met my hele wese dat die kerk as ‘n geheel voor ‘n nuwe tydperk van
vrugbaarheid staan, en as ek van die kerk praat, praat ek van jou en my, want
ons is die kerk. Glo dit! Bely dit!
Sê vir die Here: “Here die tyd van my volheid lê voor die deur, die tyd van my
vrugbaarheid is hier! En Here, U het gesê dat as ek u koninkryk eerste stel, sal U
vir my sorg (Matt. 6:33). Dankie Here! Ek wil vir U en u koninkryk leef en U sal
vir al die ander dinge sorg. Amen en Amen!”

2009 Year of Fulfilment, Time of Testing, the Supernatural
2009 will be a year of fulfilment. Where people wrestled in prayer for long times,
the promises of God will come into fulfilment.
There will be a period of testing where the fire of God will test our faith. God
says: “Lay off the works of the flesh.” As the hardship comes, the Lord wants our
faith to endure.
2 Cor. 13:5: Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test
yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in
you? – unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Ex. 23:26: None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfil the number
of your days.
Where people have been spiritually barren, God will bring the fulfilment of His
word. Out of the mouths of His servants the word of God will come and bring to
fulfilment to promises of God. In the hearts of the unbelievers, the word of Christ
that is already fulfilled, will come into being through the truth and power of it.
The plans and purposes of man that are born out of the Spirit of God will come to
fulfilment, but that which is born out of the flesh will perish.
2 Pet. 3:9: The Lord is not slow to fulfil his promise as some count slowness, but
is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should
reach repentance.
God says “I will fulfil the purposes and plans that I have for you.” God says “I
will bring to fulfilment the vision that I have given the church. I will bring to
completion what I have purposed you to walk in.”
Jer. 33:14: Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will fulfil the
promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
2009 will be a year in which God wants his children to stand up in the calling that
they have been called to.
Col. 4:17: And say to Archippus, “See that you fulfil the ministry that you have
received in the Lord.”
I sense the Lord saying 2009 will be year of the supernatural, where the Spirit of
God will move us into new depths in the spirit. The law of the supernatural will
be manifested above the natural law. God says; “I am a God of the supernatural
and I will reveal My power as I sweep my hand over the nations.”

toegerus anderkant uitkom. Bemoediging, toerustig en vrystelling vir 2009. Dit
is ‘n tyd vir die kerk “to be strengthened in the Lord”, soos Dawid. Die werk sal
vinnig wees.
13.11.2008 Dr Chuck Day
Unity between Religious and Secular
Nations in 2009 will be governed increasingly by coalitions. God is promoting a
spirit of pragmatic unity – a unity, not of spirit, ideology or world view, but of a
common understanding of the problems that must be faced. A unified
determination that these problems must be solved, will galvanize those (who
would have otherwise been fighting each other) to put aside differences for the
moment to address common concerns.
God is going to bring people together as never before and this is a positive thing.
The Church will also need to flow in this move of God and work together with
others within the Body of Christ towards common goals. Traditional differences
and barriers of suspicion will begin to crumble as mutual appreciation and honour
are demonstrated across the Christian world.
As never before, the secular world will be open to help from churches and
Christian-based organizations. It will be God’s will that we take hands with them
and help any way we can to address the evils of this world. God will use this to
create inroads into the lives of all sorts of secular leaders: political, business,
entertainers, etc.
There will, however, be pressure on the Church to work together with other
religions. The positive aspect is that it will open up channels of dialogue and
friendship that have long been needed. The negative aspect is that there will be
an increase in the blurring of Christian distinctives and tenets of faith in order not
to offend. This calls for Christian leaders to be led by the Holy Spirit in order to
flow with the move of God and, at the same time, not be led into compromise.

God’s Prophetic Army
I asked the Lord to show me a vision specifically for our country for 2009. I was
standing looking at this huge mountain of dry bones. While looking at these
bones I started feeling hopeless and discouraged, it was a depressing sight. I
heard the Lord saying this is how the people of our country are going to feel
going into the year 2009.
As I turned around I saw these masses of people standing behind me. By looking
at them I had a sense of excitement and immediately felt the feeling of
depression lifting. I asked the Lord who these people were; I heard: “This is my
prophetic army that I have raised in this country to start speaking life into
hopeless situations and into people’s lives that are in total despair and
depression.”
Behind them I saw another large group of people, waiting to join this army, but
they were not geared or trained for the battlefield. Again I heard the Lord
saying: “It’s time to train all my people in the prophetic because it’s only by
speaking life and words of encouragement into people’s lives that this country will
change.”
I sensed that this army that the Lord has raised up, are very sensitive to the Holy
Spirit and will know exactly when and what to speak into a situation; their words
will be very accurate and precise. Like the prophet Ezekiel spoke life into the dead
bones and it came to life, this is what’s going to happen when this army
starts proclaiming words of victory in the name of Jesus over every hopeless and
dead situation!

Movement of Men, Healing for Orphans
I hear the Lord saying, “Next year will be a year when I will send people from the
different corners, I will send them from the north and the south and everywhere,
I will send them here to South Africa. This will be a place where people will be
broken, a place where people will be on their knees.” The Lord is saying: “There
will be a season and a time when I will send the men, for the men will stand up;
but I will not allow them to stand up in the ways of the world, for they will come
to a place of brokenness; they will come to a place where they will bow their
knees and say, ‘Lord how can I serve?’” The Lord says: “There will come a
movement among the men of South Africa, I will pull them together and they will
speak with one voice; there will be one voice that will ring out, they will speak in
one voice against the principalities that are destroying the nations, for one voice
will break the power of darkness.”
5
God is saying: “The little children, the babies, the orphans will be cared for, the
little ones that are thrown away; I care about the little ones. I will raise up
mothers to heal them, I will raise up mothers to nurture them, there will come a
new stream of orphanages that will rise up to take care of these little ones. I
want my Spirit to flow into orphanages; I want My Spirit to start healing the
orphans. There are many children that are falling away because of the
circumstances.” God is saying: “I will anoint the social workers, I will place an
anointing on the social workers to care, to bring justice.”

God’s fire, Empowerment of the Gifts
I see the Lord is raising up a spiritual army in South Africa and this army will
move through the whole of Africa. I see the enemy has come and tried, in all
areas of our lives, to kill the fires that the Lord has started at the beginning of
2008. 2008 was the year of new beginnings and we were all excited at the
beginning of the year, but I see the enemy had a specific plan to kill those fires,
to make them die. But the fires will be even bigger than what they were. It will
be a fire that will spread from the southern part of Africa right through the rest of
Africa and to the rest of the world. I see the first part of 2009 will be a tough
time; it will be a time of shifting and a time of sifting. I hear the Lord saying that
we will get through this time a lot stronger; we will be empowered, because the
gifts of the Spirit will start operating in us as His children like never before. I feel
the Lord is saying that His children will be empowered to do the things that He
has given us to do, to do the things He has commanded us to do.

Prophecy – Jacob Zuma
André Louw – Saturday 8 June 2002
So it will be in the last hour, for I am raising up the Africa’s to carry
the cross for the last mile. Yes Lord…yes Lord! I’m going to change
your rand, I’m going to change your economy, for the devil has tried
to suppress your economy, oh southern one from Africa. But before I
change your rand, I’m going to take Botswana and raise up Botswana
into an economic explosion, that’s going to cause a ripple effect into
Namibia and even Zimbabwe will soon see a release, says the Spirit
of God. The oppressor will be removed and I will bring forth a new
one. He shall have my light in him and he shall have my utterance in
him and will cause that economy to be turned around by My Power
and I will heal the rand to heal the land. The southern part of Africa
will have one economic system; there will be a new type of economy
that will come forth in the southern hemisphere.
I will drive out the HIV virus, says the Spirit of God. I will drive out
famine from you…and will remove swiftly those that stood as God
and have stood in position to say that we are god. We will build our
temple and we shall our high ways and we shall our things and God
says I will bring them down, and I will raise up a new generation.
South Africa is about to receive a godly government.
God says that within two election processes a new light will come into
this country. But once again God says there needs to be a godly
intercession to call this country into repentance…arise church from
every part, and stand upon My Word and drive out these forces…
…There are things that have been hidden in the soil of this nation that
are about to come out, diamonds and gold and even peto – petroleum
oil. Some of the greatest wells of oils are going to come out of Africa,
says the Lord. God says, the devil took wars to destroy, but I used
the wars to keep the reserves hidden so that the nations would not
suppress this continent, because I’m raising this continent up, says
the Lord, to be a light.
I see that the Lord is saying that the economy will only change when
a Godly government is in place, and it will start off with groups of
men…the vice president of this nation…what is his name? Quickly,
give it to me…what’s his name? Jacob? I send the Spirit of God to
Jacob Zuma right now…right now…right now.
I hear God saying that I’m going to raise him up, sovereignly, oh God,
I might get into trouble for this…but I see upon the woman, this
woman being used by God to speak into his life the things and the
oracle of God. And God is going to visit him in a sovereign way. The
ANC are going to rise up and try and suppress him. They are going to
try and stop him from coming forth, but he’s going to be hidden in
camouflage, says the Lord. Yes! Yes! … He’s going to be hidden in
camouflage…because they will not know that he’s actually a sheep in
wolves clothing. And when he comes he will bring reformation into
this nation. When he rises up and we must pray that he will rise up.
But I see him coming and changing things.
And even now Father I pray for favour for him and I ask that you will
do this for him in Jesus name. Now lets give the Lord praise offering
right now…thank you Father, we release that right now. Let’s pray for
that a little bit, let’s trust God for that right now…
He (God) will heal our land by healing the rand. He will heal our land
by healing the rand…For it’s in God’s plan that we will travel to the
nations. That it will not become difficult to buy air tickets… Thank You
Holy Ghost…I’m just going to listen to God and speak what He’s
saying…
You need to pray for this man (Zuma), because they are going to try
and kill him soon, but you just keep praying for him, alright. When I
say kill, I mean that any person that rises up and doesn’t do the thing
that they want to be done, they remove; are you with me? They
remove you through political inspirations and all that stuff, but we are
going to trust God for something to happen for this man…
…Gold is going to go so high it’s going to be amazing…350…it’s
going to shoot…whew…in Jesus name…I’m going to tell you what is
going to happen…as soon as a godly government comes into this
region, we are going to hear reports of new minerals coming out of
this land, for the things have been hidden under the soil for one
reason; for us, the saints of God.

ooooh and another thing Neville Norden of Lewende Woord has close ties with Fred Roberts of Durban Christian Centre where Benny Hinn does his evil things . Yikes
See here on on page 6
Neville even says he is subject to Fred Roberts as a spiritual father.
Soooo run for your life from Lewende Woord Brumeria please!!!
Ruoall
I need your feedback please, I hope you come back and read all that is said.
Dear Elmarie,
U need some serious professional help, and in desperate need of discernment. The very thing you claim to have, you lack! All these men whom you are accusing, have you ever been in their houses and spent some days with them and their families???
Blessings,
Leon du Preez

Leon
Have you Leon been to their houses and spent some days with Benny Hinn and his family?
There was this story once about a guy who went to visit a guy because he though he was a really nice person – he was murdered and never seen again. Just trying to show you how ridiculous your argument is.
Leon
I have never made claims to anything. I have only given Biblical facts.
Please Show me where did I do this what you are accusing me of to make claims oh pleeease!
Nope I would not want to visit “them” have no reason to do so. What ever the “them” means?
Oh I see you have your own ministrie well that make sense why you would defend the likes of Benny Hinn…..hmmmm
Yikes no thank you I do not need your help.
I do not need your help thank you as I have all the help from the Lord Jesus and the Holly Spirit and the Word of God. That is the only professional help available you know. You could never dream of helping any one being so insulting and I will pray for your heart to open for your fellow human. But one needs to first love the Lord God with your whole body, mind and soul as Mark 12:30-31 tells us.
Mark 12:30-31 (Amplified Bible)
30And you shall love the Lord your God [a]out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your [b]life) and out of and with all your mind (with [c]your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. [d]This is the first and principal commandment.(A)
31The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
Leon
Oh I see you are also affiliated to Five Fold Ministries International (FFMI) with Harold Wietz hmmm very interesting. Harold Weitz also has very close family ties with Lewende Woord church of Neville Norden.
Question: “What is the five (5) fold ministry?”
Answer: The concept of the five-fold ministry comes from Ephesians 4:11, “It was he who gave some to be (1) apostles, some to be (2) prophets, some to be (3) evangelists, and some to be (4) pastors and (5) teachers.” Primarily as a result of this verse, some believe God has restored, or is restoring, the offices of apostle and prophet in the church today. Ephesians 4:12-13 tells us that the purpose of the five-fold ministry is, “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” So, since the body of Christ definitely is not built up to unity in the faith and has not attained to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, the thinking goes, the offices of apostle and prophet must still be in effect.
However, Ephesians 2:20 informs us that the church is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone.” If the apostles and prophets were the foundation of the church, are we still building the foundation? Hebrews 6:1-3 encourages us to move on from the foundation. Although Jesus Christ is most definitely active in the church today, His role as the cornerstone of the church was completed with His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. If the work of the cornerstone is, in that sense, complete, so must the work of the apostles and prophets, who were the foundation, be complete.
What was the role of the apostles and prophets? It was to proclaim God’s revelation, to teach the new truth the church would need to grow and thrive. The apostles and prophets completed this mission. How? By giving us the Word of God. The Word of God is the completed revelation of God. The Bible contains everything the church needs to know to grow, thrive, and fulfill God’s mission (2 Timothy 3:15-16). The cornerstone work of the apostles and prophets is complete. The ongoing work of the apostles and prophets is manifested in the Holy Spirit speaking through and teaching us God’s Word. In that sense, the five-fold ministry is still active.

Dr Perold de Beer
At the young age of sixteen I found Jesus as my personal Saviour under the ministry of the renowned Dr Oswald J Smith, pastor and missionary statesman. From that moment God gave me a passion for the lost and I spent almost the whole of my ministry in reaching out to Hindus and Muslims in South Africa. I was privileged to see many saved and delivered from sin and the occult.
I was a founding member of the Reformed Church in Africa and established two congregations in Laudium (Pretoria) and in Phoenix (Durban). We set up the Charisma Evangelism Council to train Christians to reach their Hindu and Muslim neighbors with the saving love of Christ providing also the necessary training for those going abroad.
My involvement in the “deliverance ministry” opened many avenues to help those who are bound irrespective of their church affiliation.
I am at present the Moderator of the Reformed Church in Africa. My passion is to seek after a God-given revival in South Africa and beyond that will change the face of our land. In this connection I serve on the Advisory Board of Revival Congresses South Africa.
My wife, Marietha, is a speech therapist. God has blessed her with a wonderful ministry in Marriage Counseling and leading young people to Christ.

“Act-up is an organization that was birthed by the Spirit of the Lord to fulfill the growing need of people that have been caught up in the spiders web of all the lies of the enemy.
In a country and a community where Biblical standards are no longer the foundation, the need for an organization to help and assist people and to lead them to the “true Tree of Life” is very timely. I believe that this organization can fill a great growing need in this hour.
Jesus said in John 8:32, that a relationship with the Truth would set the captives free.”

One of the most distressful problems today is substance abuse. Many families, friends and people are directly or indirectly influenced by it. Every organization that addresses these problem deserve appreciation and acknowledgement. Act-Up Support wants to make a difference from a Biblical view. What I appreciate from this organization is their passion, dedication and integrity in which they fulfill their vision and mission. In a hard and demanding missionary field Act-Up Support will make a difference in the future.

Dr. Stephan Joubert
In a nutshell: Jesus really drives me crazy and, after 22 years, I am still passionately in love with my wife and my two wonderful kids. On the boring side: I served as professor in New Testament Studies at the University of Pretoria for almost thirteen years. During that time I produced a monograph on Paul and 50 irrelevant academic essays. However, my greatest passion has always been serving the emerging church of the Lord.
I have written and co-edited more than 50 Christian books. Another milestone is my role as co-editor of a very contemporary Afrikaans translation of the Bible, Die Boodskap, together with Jan van der Watt. It has already received the CBSA award for the best religious publication of the year in South Africa on two occasions (1997 and 2003). About 200 000 copies, in several editions, of this translation have already been printed. An utterly enjoyable edition for children called My Eerste Boodskap has been translated into English, Dutch and Norwegian and has been published for worldwide distribution. In between, I also write a weekly column for a local newspaper and host a weekly radio program, for more than 600,000 listeners on (post-)modern day issues and the Bible. Apart from my role as part-time teaching pastor at a local church, Moreletapark, I also conduct church services and frequently speak at schools, companies and care groups throughout South Africa and abroad several times a week. Another hugely satisfying experience is my role as editor of an Afrikaans cyberchurch called ekerk and a phenomenal e-mail and e-coaching ministry for more than 34,000 people.

Sooo you : “started hearing weeping, and waling, all of a sudden, God rushed into the place and started delivering and setting people free. Devils started fleeing, and around 11h30PM the atmosphere was so saturated with the presence and the power of God that you could literally taste it!”
Did you see the Devils how did you identify them?
What did they look like?
How does one literally taste the atmosphere that was so saturated with the presence and the power of God?
How did you see God rock up on the seen?
Nooo really Leon you have me worried here.
Deborah
I picked up in your discussion with Ivin that you believe that the majority of people are not real Christians.
When one looks at what Jesus said about His return to earth that “all the nations” would try and fight against Him it proves your point.
My question to you is what happens when the ratpure has taken the few true believers away?
What chance do those that remain have to then come to the truth, and what should we be doing about it?
amedeo
After the rapture there is a new dispensation. Where God will focus His attention to Israel. This is where the verses of Joel 2 come in. There will be those who remain that most definitely can come to know Jesus Christ – because they probably knew him before but refused to accept Him. Unfortunately they will be martyred for refusing to worship the Anti-Christ. Israel will receive the 2 witnesses as mention in Revelations – Elijah and Moses? It would take Elijah and Moses to get the Israelites to open their eyes – Elijah and Moses will preach to them about Jesus Christ their Messiah. At the same time the Anti-Christ will be there too persuading the Israelites that he is their Messiah. Remember God does seal 144,000 Jews who will witness during this time as well.
Go read here
and
Also understand that there Jews, born again right now as we speak during the time of the Gentiles as evident in Acts. When the time of the Gentiles is over and God’s focus moves to Israel – can gentiles be saved? Absolutely, 10000000000% so.
You wont be able to do anything because if you are born again you will be with Jesus. What is to come is not in our hands but in God’s hands. God deals with His people in a very different way as to how He deals with Gentiles. Notice how the WoF and NAR are constantly broadcasting their shows from Israel. They are this moment converting Jews to a false Christianity. It’s one big mess.
Benny Hinn: Touch Not the Anointed One!
Posted on May 23, 2010 by Chrystal
1 John 4:1: (NASB)
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Here is a video sent to me by good friend, Bud Press of Christian Research Service. What you’ll see is Hinn claiming to possess so much of the anointing that merely touching him will suck it right out of him!
When the video begins, you see Hinn being embraced by a young man who appears to be exhibiting a ”spiritual” manifestation. Upon questioning him, he reveals that he is headed for the NFL. Hinn then tells him that won’t work because God has called him into the ministry instead. So, Hinn effectively just reordered this man’s career path, and since we all know how accurate Hinn’s prophetic words can be (that being as close to zero as you can get), I’m hoping he won’t base his decision on what Hinn has told him.
What you’re seeing is the “little god” complex coming out of Hinn. He said it’s rare he feels virtue come into him (because he possesses so much of it, I guess), but the young man not only siphoned the anointing out of him, but sent it into him as well. Sounds like some sort of spiritual transfer. Would you want that spirit transferred into you?
Think about it.

Well.. You spend your time to criticize everything on everyone.. Whoah.. Well done.. you are so strong; you have so much discernment.. you have so much class.. you are…. pfff… what do you do otherwise in life?? Do you do something that builds people up..
Bruno
Was it really worth Commenting? Naaaaaaah cannot even give you an answer sorry Bruno
But here is some Scriptural food for thought to ponder on.
The apostle John tells us in his first epistle (1 John 4:1-6) how we are to discern which spirits are from God. “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.”
It is of utmost importance that Christians are well-grounded in the Scriptures so that they are able to discern which teachers speak from God and which are false in their proclamation. Only then can we reject what is false and “hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

Jesus Christ said:
What are your thoughts on that? I would love to know what you think about it?
Bruno
“What did Jesus mean when He instructed us to turn the other cheek?”
Answer: The entire section of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in which this verse is found can be understood as one where Jesus actually serves to elevate the importance of following Israel’s moral law beyond the letter to the spirit of the law. Much of the material therein complements the nature of His coming characterized by mercy, sacrificial love, and longsuffering toward sinners while at the same time affirming the “last is first” principle upon which the kingdom of God is based.
For instance, we are told to go the extra mile for someone who abuses us, and to pray for enemies instead of resisting them. All of this can be generally summarized by saying we need to be pure inside and out and should be as accommodating as possible for the sake of a lost world.
To “turn the other cheek,” does not imply pacifism, nor does it mean we place ourselves or others in mortal danger. Like the principle of the eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth in verse 38, turning the other cheek refers to personal retaliation, not criminal offenses or acts of military aggression. Clearly Jesus did not mean to negate all God’s laws and injunctions protecting us against violent crime or invading armies. Rather, Jesus is speaking here of the principle of non-retaliation to affronts against our own dignity, as well as lawsuits to gain one’s personal assets (v. 40), infringements on one’s liberty (v. 41), and violations of property rights (v. 42). He was calling for a full surrender of all personal rights.
Turning the other cheek means not to return insult for insult in retaliation, which is what most people expect and how worldly people act.
Responding to hatred with love just might grab someone’s attention and afford us a chance to share the gospel.
When we respond in a manner that is unnatural, it displays the supernatural power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Jesus was the perfect example because
He was silent before His accusers and did not call down revenge from heaven on those who crucified Him.
http://www.gotquestions.org/turn-other-cheek.html
Benny Hinn: “Methinks thou protest too loudly”
Who is willing to follow the blind leading the blind?
Benny Hinn has a reputation to some as a miracle man, a man who moves in the supernatural, who sees miracles on a regular basis. But to others, he is a reputed false teacher.
Until the middle of this year, he was the focus of the supernatural for the ideologues that follow signs and wonders, that is until the Lakeland fire spread. The attention then shifted to a new kid on the block, an unheard of, named Todd Bentley.
Now Benny Hinn has momentarily become what he has always criticized others of–a “heresy hunter,” and has attacked “God’s anointed,” according to the Bentley camp of signs and wonders.
Many will see this tactic as one wolf calling out another wolf from feeding on their sheep and interpret it as a move of self-preservation, because of the diminishing donations. A number of us discussed this months ago, wondering when this very event would take place.
Where was Benny Hinn during the Lakeland revival? Where was Hinn when the controversies reached a fever pitch? Maybe he thought it would not affect his ministry and thought it best to remain silent.
Nevertheless, Hinn’s decision to speak out against the Florida revival, after the damage was done, puts him in a quandary in a number of ways. True prophets do not hesitate to warn when the body of Christ of impending danger; false prophets warn after the damage is done. Hinn’s allowing the Lakeland revival to run its course and ruin thousands of lives demonstrates he is not a man called to action by God. A true prophet or teacher would not allow this on their watch.
Benny Hinn has reached a sophisticated level of deception that can be undetected by the majority of church goers, even some who are Bereans. He has learned well from his critics and has, for the most part, kept his mouth from uttering the normal heresies he has been known for in the past. But he is still not divorced from the money he solicits from his followers everywhere he goes, and Benny Hinn Ministries needs mega-bucks to continue operating.
Hinn’s ministry was moribund because of Bentleys success, and he chose not to speak out when the bar was being raised to become the new wave, as did the Toronto and Brownsville revivals of the past. So why did he wait so long to speak out on the Lakeland revival? Only when it becomes necessary and advantageous for him to speak. Because Bentley is no longer operating, it is an opportune time for Hinn to draw the people back to him.
Yet, as one who claims to be a prophet of God, Benny Hinn is surrounded by an ocean of contradictions on what he says, not just what he does. Here is an example:
There is no such thing as a laughing revival. There is no such thing as a laughing – it is not in the Bible. I do not see it in the Bible. Much of what happens is pure emotionalism – contagious laughter. What does it do except make you look stupid? I am not interested in some emotional up” (“Praise The Lord,” July 4, 1997).
A few months later, Rodney Howard-Browne–the very man who started the laughing revival–was a guest on Hinn’s program. In fact, it was Hinn who launched Rodney Howard-Browne into ministry, when he allowed it all to happen at his own meeting, as he endorsed the laughter in 1991 (seen on the video Benny Hinn: Spirit of truth or Spirit of Error). Laughter broke out among the children at Hinn’s meeting, and Rodney Howard-Browne, who was already on stage ready to go, was called forward by Hinn, who said: “Rodney, God has given you a great anointing for this. Let the holy laughter hit them in Jesus’ mighty name.”
Hinn passed “it” on to Rodney Howard-Browne and Randy Clark received it and brought it to the Vineyard churches. The Todd Bentley revival is a continuation of Pensacola that came from Toronto that came from Rodney Howard-Browne that came from Benny Hinn, etc, etc.

HINN SAYS TBN WILL RAISE DEAD VIEWERS
Undaunted by the news media’s debunking of his claim that a man was raised from the dead at one of his healing crusades, Benny Hinn presses on with divine revelations of worldwide resurrections.
“I’m telling you, I can feel the anointing talking here. People are going to be canceling funeral services and bringing their dead in their caskets, placing them — My God, I feel the anointing here — placing them before a television set, waiting for God’s power to come through and touch them,” Hinn told Paul and Jan Crouch and their Trinity Broadcasting Network viewing audience last fall. The program originally aired live Oct. 19, 1999. It has been replayed several times on TBN, including Jan. 7, 2000.
Of course, according to the controversial faith healer, the television sets will need be tuned to TBN. “You’re going to have people raised from the dead watching this network. … People around the world who will lose loved ones will say to undertakers, ‘Not yet, I want to take my dead loved one and place him in front of that TV set for 24 hours,’” Hinn announced to the network’s followers.
Hinn also alleged that God was showing him “rows of caskets lining up in front of this TV set.” “I see them bringing them closer to the TV set and as people are coming closer, I see loved ones picking up the hands of the dead and letting them touch the screen and people are getting raised as their hands are touching that screen,” Hinn said. “The word will spread that if some dead person be put in front of this TV screen, they will be raised from the dead — and they will be by the thousands,” Hinn promised the Crouches and the viewers of their Praise the Lord show.
That is awesome Bruno! I am totally for you on those comments! lol, Unfortunately some people are forever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth! But hey, I have much better things to do for example saving souls and advancing His Kingdom rather than commenting and attacking men of God. Love u lots Bruno, Let’s go kick some devil butt!
Leon
How do you save souls and from what do you save them? Do you encourage youngsters to experience trances and do you hear God speaking to you? Do you believe Benny Hinn is a man of God?

“Do Christians have the authority to rebuke the devil?”
Answer: There are some Christians who believe they not only have the authority to rebuke the devil, but they believe they must be about the business of rebuking him continually. There is no biblical basis for such a belief. It must be remembered that Satan, unlike God, is not omnipresent. He can only be in one place at a time, and the likelihood of his personally harassing individual Christians is miniscule. Of course, he has legions of demons who do his bidding, and they are everywhere seeking to destroy believers’ testimonies. It should be noted here that the Christian cannot be possessed by a demon, in the same way people in the Bible are described as being possessed.
As Christians, we need to be aware of the reality of the presence of evil. As we struggle to stand firm in our faith, we must realize that the enemies we are up against are not merely human ideas, but real forces that come from the powers of darkness. The Bible says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” Ephesians 6:12, NAS).
Clearly, God has allowed Satan significant amounts of power and influence over the earth, at least for the time being, and always within God’s sovereign control. The Bible tells us that he prowls around like a lion in search of prey, looking for victims to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Satan is the power at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God (Ephesians 2:2). Anyone who is not under the control of the sovereign God is under the control of the devil (Acts 26:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4). Born-again Christians are no longer enslaved to Satan or to sin (Romans 6:6-7), but this does not mean we are immune to the temptations that he puts before us.
The Bible does not give Christians the authority to rebuke the Devil, but to resist him. James 4:7 (NLT) says to “submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Zechariah 3:2 tells us that it is the Lord who rebukes Satan. Even Michael, one of the most powerful of the angels, did not dare to accuse Satan, but rather said, “The Lord rebuke you” (Jude 1:9). In response to Satan’s attacks, a Christian should hide under the covering of Christ. Instead of focusing on defeating the devil, we should focus on following Christ (Hebrews 12:2) and trust that He will defeat the forces of evil.
It is not necessary for a Christian to rebuke Satan because God has given us His full armor to stand against evil (see Ephesians 6:10-18). The most effective weapons we have against the devil are our faith, wisdom, and knowledge about God and His Word. Even Christ, when tempted by Satan, did not rebuke him but answered him with Scripture (see Matthew 4:1-11). To gain victory in spiritual matters, we must maintain a clear conscience and have control over our thoughts. “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

Hey,
Is it just me, or does ‘Bruno’ look like Brian Houston of Hillsong in Sydney Australia?
I guess he doesn’t believe in Christians criticizing the behaviour of other Christians huh?
But then, why the sarcasm?
Ah well, Jeremiah wasn’t well received either!
Shalom all,
Alan.
Alan (and Leon / Bruno)
I must agree with Alan here, although here’s hoping this blog hasn’t attracted the attention of the likes of Brian Houston aswell. But then again, maybe he could benefit from a little Christian opinion, as I’m sure he doesn’t mingle with too much of that, it certainly would adversely affect his pocket.
Regarding the sarcasm Alan mentions. It is quite evident that the likes of Bruno “the Dude who is Anti-Scriptural” and Leon “the Dudette or Devil Slayer or Saver of Souls” as I’m going to fondly refer to them due to their New Age affiliation (I’m hoping they won’t be too personally offended), cannot turn to Scripture to support their points of view, for obvious reasons. Slight over-simplification would equate their religion with non-Biblical beliefs. No matter how hard one tries, one cannot stretch the Truth as far as they would like to.
It is common practice thus, for persons who would defend false religions, to resort to name-calling and sarcasm in a futile effort to make themselves, their evil heroes and their falsehoods, seem justifiable. As Christians our duty is to expose these practitioners, not in an effort to justify our own point of view, but for the sake of the true Church. As Paul eloquently instructs:
Act 20:28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
Act 20:29 I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock;
Act 20:30 and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.
Would you all forgive me for putting it into some Newer Age lingo:
Leon, ‘zit my Bro! Devil Slaya! Some brotherly advice I give freely: Howz ’bout choo answer some of da questions asked ‘ere instead a critsizng da Christians? Dis ting ‘ere ’bout jah putting da kidz into trances, now dat aint cool mon! Whatcha smokin’ dere?
Bruno, my udda brudda! The Truth is in the coolest book of them all, you eard ’bout it ‘bro? – ’tis called The Bible. Howz ’bout choo stop being sarcastic and read it? Borrow some ‘air from da Leon dude, mon! Jool both feel free and look way good! Ciao
Leon says!
>>>I have much better things to do for example saving souls<<<
You like putting your foot in it don't you mate? wanna rephrase this… quickly?

It was not a slip of the tongue. He also says it here:

And further it also says : Bring your friends, bring family members, bring strangers, bring someone and come and be touched!
Touched by what ?? definitley not by our Jesus we know so dearly or the Holy Spirit. It could only be a false Jesus and demonic spirit.
We must pray for Leon and Kie that they find the Real Jesus and Holy Spirit.
Just to think how they deceive young kids make my heart break into a milion pieces.
Dear Elmarie, Amanda, Robbie, Alan, Grant and the likes…
Firstly, I do not have the time to answer your 100 question game. I am accountable and responsible first of all to Jesus Christ and to my oversight.
Secondly, I have much better things to do than criticize, accuse, name calling (It is quite evident that the likes of Bruno “the Dude who is Anti-Scriptural” and Leon “the Dudette or Devil Slayer or Saver of Souls”) or any other carnal behavior.
Thirdly, I feel very sad for those who are associated to you and intoxicated by the spirit of error and demons of doctrines which has crept into your lives. I will be saying a few prayers for you and more for those who are influenced by you then after that I will be wiping the dust of my feet regarding this “place”…
God Bless you all!

I take it you mean doctrines of demons? Could you please point out where we taught a doctrine of demons? You seem to be an expert on demons. You teach the youngsters:
Shame on you for misleading them into believing that a Christian can have both the Holy Spirit and demons!
Leon, what is this all about?:
Check with your overseer, but my advice to you is to take that article down as soon as possible.
Leon
You did not come here to proclaim the Good News, but to attack us for defending Christianity against false teachings that you are part of. Your are welcome to spread your spirituality and you may call it what you want, but if you choose to use the name of our great God and Savior to promote your luring youngsters into experiencing trances, then we shall expose you and warn parents, teenagers and the schools against you.
Repent from your false teaching and your trances. Jesus Christ died even for that and He freely offers you forgiveness for your sins.
Leon
I echo the words of Amanda to you : Repent from your false teaching and your trances. Jesus Christ died even for that and He freely offers you forgiveness for your sins.
and also these words that Amanda said Check with your overseer, but my advice to you is to take that article down as soon as possible.
Leon shame on you for misleading the young and innocent with your works of false teachings and it is shocking!!!
John 3:19-21 (Amplified Bible)
19The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil.(A)
20For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved.
21But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are–wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him].
ah ah ah ah ah ah.. Blessings.
Bruno
Are you laughing backwards ? Well that is just demonic especially adding “Blessings” to you comment makes it worse.
or are you shocked ? No reason to be shocked at all.
So you then wasted some energy and time with your silly comment. You know you could have used that time to just rather read a Bible verse.
Elmarie, Grant and Alan…
Your ministry is a ministry of death.. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious…how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? (2 Corinthians 3:6-8)
These verses contain another contrasting choice that results in people either living by bankrupt human resources, or by bountiful heavenly ones. This contrast is “the ministry of death versus the ministry of life.” These terms come from correlating four phrases: “the letter kills…the Spirit gives life…the ministry of death…the ministry of the Spirit.” Of course, the old covenant of law is the “ministry of death,” and the new covenant of grace is the “ministry of life” (“ministry of the Spirit…the Spirit gives life”).
You don’t not know me and you think you and your friend can label me or other people because you can write something. YOU DO NOT MANIFEST THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST….
You have a critical spirit… You condemn the person as well as the perceived action (Prov 12:18) You focus on the fault ACCORDING to your perception or interpretation of the Bible… Maybe you should examine yourself… Like 6:41… You and your friends spend hours to ridicule others instead of encouraging others (Proverbs 11:12) You make judgement based without knowing the fruits of the person (John 7:24 and Matthew 12:33-37) You simply assume the worst without knowing the person (John 7:51) You tears others down instead of building people up (Eph 4:29).
Maybe your sense of significance is enhanced when you point out the wrongs of other.. You dare to make people think that you know the Word.. Hey wake up the Word is CHRIST. THE WORD is A PERSON..
You are right on one thing though… I’d rather read the bible than coming back on this stinking website place..
I will not WASTE my time with your bunch… You SHOULD REPENT..
Bruno
Leon is teaching you:
That may be New Age, but it is not Christianity. It cannot save you from the wrath of God stored up for the day of judgment. Jesus Christ died so that sinners might be saved and not for you to indulge in dreams and visions and trances. Repent and receive forgiveness for your sins on account of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for you.
Bruno
There we go a BUZZ word!! MANIFEST just so loved by these False churches. Such a pity these false churches water the Word of God down to the gutters.
“Should Christians judge the teachings of their leaders?”
Answer: As Christians, we are commanded against following teachers blindly, but are told rather to “Test everything; hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The apostle Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2:1-3 that there will be false teachers in our day just as there were false teachers in his day. Among their false teachings is a denial of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross to take away sin, which is a common theme among cultists today. Another characteristic of false teachers is the greed which motivates them in everything they do. Paul offers a similar warning to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:29-31, calling the false teachers “savage wolves” who mercilessly attempt to destroy the faith of the sheep and draw them away from the Shepherd. Paul warned them continually, pleading with them night and day to be on their guard against such deceivers.
From these passages, we see clearly that we are to distinguish between true and false teachers. How then are we to do that? First, as Paul instructs the Ephesians, we are to “no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14). Rather, we are to “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” and we do this by “the knowledge of the Son of God” (v. 13). The knowledge of Christ can only be obtained through the Word of God, and it is by that Word that we distinguish between the true and the false.
In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus offers some critical advice in discerning who is a false prophet: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruits you will recognize them.” Plainly stated, is the teacher’s life marked by a progressive conformity to the likeness of Christ? Is the teacher bearing the fruits of the Spirit? Just as only good trees produce good fruit, so do only true teachers of Christ display the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), whereas false prophets and teachers display the acts of their sinful natures (Galatians 5:19-22). By these fruits, we recognize true and false teachers.
Secondly, does the teaching that is being presented conform to the message as proclaimed by the early church and the Apostles? As Paul writes to the church in Galatia: “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” These are harsh words indeed that Paul has for the false teachers, but eternal condemnation is what they store up for themselves until the day of God’s wrath (Romans 2:5-6).

“Should we allow false teachers into our home?”
Answer: The short letter of 2 John is written in part to warn believers against the influence of false teachers. John identifies them as those “who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh” and describes them as deceivers and antichrists (2 John 7). He goes on to prohibit receiving them into our homes or wishing them well. The question is whether this prohibition refers to those who knock on our doors today, such as Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses. Are we to deny members of these sects access to our homes?
It is important to understand exactly what it means that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Many cultists will agree that Jesus was a man of flesh and bone who walked the earth around 2000 years ago. But that is not what John means here. He first addressed this issue in 1 John 4:2, telling us how to identify false teachers and the spirits who drive them. The first test of a true teacher/prophet of God is that they proclaim that Jesus is God incarnate in human flesh (John 1:14). Both the full deity and full humanity of Christ will be asserted by any teacher who truly comes from God. The Holy Spirit testifies to the true nature of Christ, while Satan and his demonic host deny that true nature. That is why John identifies anyone who denies the deity of Christ—which both the Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses do—as deceivers and antichrists.
What should be our response, then, when cultists come knocking at the door? John, writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gives a clear answer: we are not to receive them into our homes. While John was likely more commanding against allowing false teachers to stay in your home than just allowing them in the door, the principle is the same. We are not to do anything that would give the appearance we approve of their message. Many people feel “called” to debate endlessly with cultists, bringing them into their homes for Bible studies or witnessing to them in chat rooms and forums. But God does not call us to do these things; He commands us to avoid false teachers. Cultists are master deceivers who are well-trained in techniques that will confuse those whose knowledge of Scripture is limited—the very ones cultists most often seek out. It is invariably these well-meaning and compassionate souls who dialog with cultists. But God’s desire is to protect the weak among His people and John’s prohibition reflects that desire.
John’s final warning regards “greeting” cultists, which the King James Version translates as bidding them “God speed.” This phrase in the Greek means to cheerfully or joyfully hail or salute someone. In other words, we are not to give cultists or anyone else the impression that we see them as having legitimate claims, doctrines, or opinions. We are not to bless them or wish them well. John tells us that to do so is to share in their wicked work. Christians are of Christ; cultists are anti-Christ, no matter how kind, sincere, and charming they may appear. We can have no fellowship with darkness or those who spread falsehood; rather, we are to separate ourselves from them.
But aren’t we to witness to them about Christ? Aren’t they the mission field? Interestingly, nowhere in the Bible are we called to witness to false teachers. Jesus tells us to “watch out” for them (Matthew 7:15) and Paul tells us to “avoid them” (Romans 16:17) and declares them to be “accursed” (Galatians 1:8). We are, of course, to be always ready with an answer for the hope that is within us (1 Peter 3:15), but that presupposes the cultist is actually interested in the true hope of salvation through Christ, something that is rarely, if ever, the case. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), but we are not to cast our pearls before pigs (Matthew 7:6). In regards to cultists, it is especially important to rely on the Lord’s wisdom (James 1:5) in discerning the difference between an opportunity and a distraction.

“What is the best way to evangelize someone who is in a cult or false religion?”
Answer: The most important thing we can do for those involved in cults or false religions is pray for them. We need to pray that God would change their hearts and open their eyes to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4). We need to pray that God would convince them of their need for salvation through Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Without the power of God and conviction of the Holy Spirit, we will never succeed in convincing anyone of the truth (John 16:7-11).
We also need to be living a godly Christian life, so those trapped in cults and religions can see the change God has made in our own lives (1 Peter 3:1-2). We need to pray for wisdom in how we can minister to them in a powerful way (James 1:5). After all of this, we must be bold in our actual sharing of the gospel. We must proclaim the message of salvation through Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10). We always need to be prepared to defend our faith (1 Peter 3:15), but we must do so with gentleness and respect. We can proclaim the doctrine correctly, win the war of words, and still impede the cause by an attitude of angry superiority.
Ultimately, we must leave the salvation of those to whom we witness up to God. It is God’s power and grace that saves people, not our efforts. While it is good and wise to be prepared to give a vigorous defense and have knowledge of false beliefs, neither of these things will result in the conversion of those trapped in the lies of the cults and false religions. The best we can do is pray for them, witness to them, and live the Christian life in front of them, trusting that the Holy Spirit will do the work of drawing, convincing, and converting.

“When should a Christian try to correct another Christian?”
Answer: This can be a delicate subject. It is wise to spend time in prayer first, to check our motivation and ask for guidance. There are times when Christians are called upon to “talk to” or try to correct a fellow Christian. Assuming we are talking about a matter of sin in a believers’ life, our motive and intent should always be to bring about repentance and restoration to the erring brother or sister in Christ.
First, our attitude is very important. “Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive each other, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done” (Ephesians 4:32). It is then that we are more able to “speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). In his epistle to the Galatians, Paul had a similar warning about attitude: “Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted” (Galatians 6:1). Here we see that those who are “spiritual,” meaning walking in the Spirit in faith and obedience, should gently restore someone who is in sin, being always aware of how easily we can all be tempted by Satan who wants to ensnare everyone in his traps.
The Bible prescribes the procedure for confronting a sinning brother or sister in an extensive passage on church discipline: “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector” (Matthew 18:15-17). Again, this is the procedure for confronting a sinning brother, not someone whose behavior you feel needs modifying in some way or someone who merely irritates or annoys you.
On a different slant, one of the most often quoted scriptures is “Judge not, lest ye be judged” (Matthew 7:1 KJV). Taken out of context, the verse has been used to incorrectly justify never taking a stand on anything that would require a judgment to be made. Rather, the verse is referring to hypocritical, self-righteous, unfair kinds of judgment, especially where the confronter is guilty of the same sin as the one being confronted.
So, when should Christians talk to or try to correct a fellow Christian? When we have talked to the Lord first, have an attitude of submission and concern for the other person, and are committed to following the procedures outlined in His Word for such a situation.

You are correct. It is the Law that condemns you:
You break the Law on a daily basis and you need a Saviour. Leon teaches that your problem is “unformed purpose and destiny”. His solution is “In order for you to tap into the hidden treasures buried inside of you, you have to go deep within yourself!” The Bible says:
Leon’s preaching is to lure you into the “secret place” to experience “dreams and visions and trances” and not to produce faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified for sinners. In fact, the Jesus that he preaches cannot save.
Here Jesus is our example, going through the same experience and prevailing. Bruno, I can assure you that Jesus Christ did not find darkness within Himself:
Bruno, Jesus Christ is revealed to us in the Word. It is Leon who is making stuff up that is not taught in the Word. The apostles did not teach that we should go hour after hour until we experience visions, dreams and trances. Either the Word is right or Leon is, but they cannot both be right, because they contradict each other. Are you going to put your trust in a man to experience trances or are you going to trust Jesus Christ to save you from the righteous wrath of God against you for breaking His Law?
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
My name is Rudi. I have briefly read some of the comments on this page, and do not want to debate or argue, but would like to just say the following.
I have the privilege of having both Ps Bruno Picard and Ps Leon du Preez as my pastors and oversight. I have worked closely with them, and I have seen the true character of Jesus Christ in their lives. I have also seen the great sacrifice that they continually make in laying down their lives in prayer and service for others, in order that the purposes of God may be accomplished in the lives of many. They are truly servants of God, their conduct proves it, their lives testify of it everyday. I can vouch for this, because I have seen it.
Also, the fruit that they bear proves this. Under their ministries I have seen so many people come to know Jesus. I have seen people with broken lives, people in bondage, people with no hope, people struggling with addictions, people struggling with rejection… These people come to the meetings and they are set free, healed, delivered.. When they leave, their lives has changed.. They find hope, freedom and love by getting to know Jesus Christ.. And this what our faith is all about.. It is to see people’s lives changed, because God changes the hearts of people. God changes people from brokenness to restored lives… he changes them from hopelessness to having hope… He changes them from being hurt, angry, selfish, and lost and unloved to being people who knows God and has life flowing out from inside of them.. they become people who loves others and desire to see all others find the same joy and happiness and peace in knowing the salvation of God…
This is what our faith is about…. its not about attacking each other.. it’s not about causing disunity or debates and arguments among us… we are brothers and sisters… please, I beg of you, for your own sake and for the sake of unity of Christ’s church, let us not judge, condemn, slander or attack each other..
1 Cor 1:10 “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
My dear brother and sister, God’s leaders are not the enemy. The enemy is the devil, and he is always trying to take out God’s leaders. Ps Bruno Picard and Ps Leon du Preez are men of God, and certainly God works through them. I do not say this because I perceive them to be great in themselves, but because I see the character of Christ in their lives and the good fruit that they bear, which is how I know that they are not false, because Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. Please I ask you that you would not speak evil of them. Rather immerse yourself in intercession for people like them if God so leads, because they are certainly in the battle and they need all the support they can get.
If you disagree with what they teach, then I beg you to humbly search the scriptures and seek after truth.. If you are certain that you have come to the knowledge of the truth, then humbly and earnestly pray that God may also bring them to the knowledge of the truth if they are wrong.. (which they are not, in my own opinion, according to my interpretation of scripture, but I will not debate..) There will always be things that we disagree about.. History proves that.. Every leader will say some things that you disagree with, and he may be right or he may be wrong, but it is not for you to bring him down and destroy him.. Humbly pray for unity.. Pray for revival.. Fight against the devil..
Your website is called discerning the world, which I think is a great title.. being in the website industry myself, I think this website has great potential.. but, I humbly ask you sir, to discern the world truly, and to see that the world is in desperate need of God. There are people dying of hunger, there are people dying of Aids, there are people dying without hope and without God.. there are so many people whose lives are destroyed by drugs and crime and all kinds of evil.. they desperately need God!! We must take God to them.. We must show God to them.. We must help them and love them.. We cannot afford to be fighting against each other..
The days are evil, sir.. I beg you, do not fight against us.. join us.. join us in showing the world that God loves them.. join us in reaching out to the broken people around us.. because we were once there as well, lost in our sin.. but God saved our souls.. and He wants to do it for others as well, if we will but love them and testify to them of who God is and what He has done for them..
Thank you for taking the time to read my reply, and I humbly apologize in advance if there is anything I said in here that offends you in any way..
Your friend in Christ,
Rudi van der Merwe
Dear Elmarie,
The very people you and your own following are critizing are peole I have known personally, been taught and mentored by.No I guess your response to that would be that you would not like to associate with me either, well let me put you at ease,I am far more picky about my friends than what you are! The question I would like to ask you, all these ministries that you so quickly critize as being false and being false prophets, have you looked at the fruit of their ministries? Because ultimately that is what Jesus says” Bytheir fruits the will be known” One sows the seed, one waters but God gives the increase, so when I look at the increase in these ministries I must then assume that God is who He says He is or that He is a God of confusion to bring increase into the ministries of false prophets! How much of the great commission have you and your following full filled? Have you raised any dead of late, have you laid hands on the sick and seen them healed, have you delivered anyone lately from the bondage of satan?…oh wait, you don’t believe that we can do that, or as you asked Leon, tongue in cheek I gues, what demons look like etc.If you are up to a challenge why don’t you ask the HOly Spirit to open your spiritual eyes! This is the quote from Amanda “That may be New Age, but it is not Christianity. It cannot save you from the wrath of God stored up for the day of judgment. Jesus Christ died so that sinners might be saved and not for you to indulge in dreams and visions and trances. Repent and receive forgiveness for your sins on account of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for you.” What bible are you reading? Acts 10:9 onwards speaks about Peter’s vision and if you go study it in the originallanguage it would mean trance. The book of Revelation was given to John by VISIONS!!!! The old Testament is filled with the prophets who got VISIONS and DREAMS!! let alone the fact that God’s word (which you so eloquently quote, but then so did satan)…states very clearly “Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. ” what is there not to understand? Elmarie you have done nothing to slander mighty ministries, such as Neville has allot of assosiations with false teachers like Elza Meyer, Angus Buchan, Ray Mackauley, Herlod Weitz, Randy Clarck, Gary Kiewetter, Izak Burger, Kim Clement, Dr Fred Roberts, the late Oral Roberts, Joel Osteen, my gosh is their actually one ministry that you do not condemn. Oh and your comment about the DCC being octagonal and the number 8 – What do you you find confusing? 8 in fact is the number of resurrection and new beginnings. When something is resurrected it has a new beginning! When Jesus was resurrected it was a new beginning for the world! You say that it is not scriptual for Ps Harold Weitz and others to prophecy over people, clearly my dear friend the pages of your bible is lacking many pages, in particular 1 Corinthians 12v 8-10!
It does astound me that these great ministries that you fault so much, has the confirmation of signs, miracles and wonders following them. I know what you going to say: “Well Theresa the Bible also says that false prophets will have signs miracles etc..” and yes you are right, but the greatest moracle of all is salvation, and a false ministry, which would be driven by satan will not have fruit of salvations, as a house divided against it self will fall.
You,Elmarie have made this blog your own platform topreaaach your doctrine or opnion from, well lets see if God gives you the increase. You also stated that you don;t need anyone to teach you cos you have Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that is true, partially, you see that is the problem with doctrine of error, it is always partially true…If we donot need anyone to teach us other than Jesus and the Holy Spirit, why on earth would there have been the likes of Paul, Timothy, and all the other amazing teachers who taught others after Christ had ascended? Surely they could have all just stayed isolated and been led by the Holy Spirit? Well lets see what the WOrd of God says about that “Pro 18:1 He that separateth himself seeketh his own desire, and snarlest against all sound wisdom.
Pro 18:2 A fool hath no delight in understanding, but only that his heart may lay itself bare.
You operate by the spirit of divination as well as the spirit of Leviathan your main aim is to bring about division and strife. You have an unteachable spirit.
But I pray for you and your following for much of what you have said above brings me much joy, as it is proof that we are living in the last days!

“What are the dangers of postmodernism?”
Answer: Simply put, Postmodernism is a philosophy that affirms no objective or absolute truth, especially in matters of religion and spirituality. When confronted with a truth claim regarding the reality of God and religious practice, Postmodernism’s viewpoint is exemplified in the statement “that may be true for you, but not for me.” While such a response may be completely appropriate when discussing favorite foods or preferences toward art, such a mindset is dangerous when it is applied to reality because it confuses matters of taste and opinion with truth.
The term “Postmodernism” literally means “after Modernism” and is used to philosophically describe the current era which came after the age of Modernism. Postmodernism is a reaction (or perhaps more appropriately, a disillusioned response) to Modernism’s failed promise of using human reason alone to better mankind and make the world a better place. Because one of Modernism’s beliefs was that absolutes did indeed exist, Postmodernism seeks to “correct” things by first eliminating absolute truth and making everything (including the empirical sciences and religion) relative to an individual’s beliefs and desires.
The dangers of Postmodernism can be viewed as a downward spiral that begin with the rejection of absolute truth, which then leads to a loss of distinctions in matters of religion and faith, and finally culminates in a philosophy of religious pluralism that says no faith or religion is objectively true and therefore no one can claim his or her religion is true and another is false.
Dangers of Postmodernism – #1 – Relative Truth
Postmodernism’s stance of relative truth is the outworking of many generations of philosophical thought. From Augustine to the Reformation, the intellectual aspects of Western civilization and the concept of truth were dominated by theologians. But, beginning with the Renaissance periods of the 14th – 17th centuries, thinkers began to elevate humankind to the center of reality. If one were to look at human periods of history like a family tree, the Renaissance would be Modernism’s grandmother and the Enlightenment would be its mother. Renee Descartes’ “I think, therefore I am” personified the beginning of this era. God was not the center of truth any longer – man now was.
The Enlightenment was in a way the complete imposition of the scientific model of rationality upon all aspects of truth and claimed that only scientific data could be objectively understood, defined, and defended. Truth as it pertained to religion was left out and discarded. The philosopher who straddled this epoch’s and Modernism’s contribution to relative truth was the Prussian Immanuel Kant and his work The Critique of Pure Reason, which appeared in 1781. Among other things, Kant argued that true knowledge about God was impossible so he created a divide of knowledge between “facts” and “faith.” According to Kant, “Facts have nothing to do with religion.” The end result was that spiritual matters were assigned to be matters of the heart and just opinion, and only the empirical sciences were allowed to speak of truth. And while Modernism believed in absolutes at least in the area of science, God’s special revelation (the Bible) was evicted from the realm of truth and certainty.
From Modernism came Postmodernism and, whereas Kant marked the philosophical transition from the Enlightenment to Modernism, Frederick Nietzsche may symbolize the shift from Modernism to Postmodernism. As the patron saint of postmodernist philosophy, Nietzsche held to “perspectivism,” which says that all knowledge (including science) is a matter of perspective and interpretation. Many other philosophers have built upon Nietzsche’s work (e.g. Foucault, Rorty, and Lyotard) and have shared his rejection of God and religion in general. They also rejected any hint of absolute truth, or as Lyotard put it, a rejection of a metanarrative (a truth that transcends all peoples and cultures).
This philosophical march through history against objective truth has resulted in Postmodernism having a complete aversion to any claim to absolutes, with such a mindset naturally painting a huge bull’s-eye on something that declares to be inerrant truth, such as the Bible.
Dangers of Postmodernism – #2 – Loss of Discernment
The great theologian Thomas Aquinas said, “It is the task of the philosopher to make distinctions.” What Aquinas meant is that truth is dependent upon the ability to discern – the capability to distinguish “this” from “that” in the realm of knowledge. However, if objective and absolute truth does not exist, then everything becomes a matter of personal interpretation. To the postmodern individual, the author of a book does not possess the correct interpretation of their work; it is the reader who actually determines what the book really means – a process called deconstruction. And given that there are multiple readers (vs. one author), there are naturally multiple interpretations, with the end result being no universally valid interpretation.
Such a chaotic situation makes it impossible to make meaningful or lasting distinctions between interpretations because there is no standard or benchmark that can be used. This especially applies to matters of faith and religion because the philosophers of the Enlightenment and Modernism had already deposed religion to the compartment of opinion. Such being the case, it naturally follows that attempting to make proper and meaningful distinctions in the area of religion (ones that dare suggest that one belief is right and another invalid) carries no more weight than one person arguing that chocolate tastes better than vanilla. In such situations, it becomes impossible to objectively adjudicate between competing truth claims.
Dangers of Postmodernism – #3 – Pluralism
If absolute truth does not exist, and if there is no way to make meaningful, right/wrong distinctions between different faiths and religions, then the natural conclusion is that all beliefs must be given equal weight and considered valid. The proper term for this practical outworking in Postmodernism is “philosophical pluralism.” With pluralism, no religion has the right to pronounce itself right or true and the other competing faiths false, or even relatively inferior. For those who espouse a philosophical religious pluralism, there is no longer any heresy, except perhaps the view that there are heresies. D. A. Carson underscores conservative evangelical’s concerns about what they see as the dangerous element of pluralism when he says, “In my most somber moods I sometimes wonder if the ugly face of what I refer to as philosophical pluralism is the most dangerous threat to the gospel since the rise of the Gnostic heresy in the second century.”
These progressive dangers of Postmodernism – relative truth, a loss of discernment, and philosophical pluralism – represent real and imposing threats to Christianity because they collectively relegate God’s Word to something that has no real authority over mankind and no ability to show itself as true in a world of competing religious voices. What is Christianity’s response to these challenges?
Response to the Dangers of Postmodernism
It should first be stated that Christianity claims to be absolutely true, claims that meaningful distinctions in matters of right/wrong (as well as spiritual truth and falsehood) exist, and claims to be correct in its claims about God with any contrary claims from competing religions being incorrect. Such a stance provokes cries of “arrogance” and “intolerance” from Postmodernism. However, truth is not a matter of attitude or preference, and when closely examined, the foundations and philosophies of Postmodernism quickly crumble and reveal Christianity’s claims to be both plausible and compelling.
First, Christianity claims that absolute truth exists. In fact, Jesus specifically says that He was sent and born to do one thing: “to testify to the truth” (John 18:37). Postmodernism says that no truth should be affirmed, yet its position is one that is self-defeating – it affirms at least one absolute truth: that no truth should be affirmed. This means that Postmodernism does believe in absolute truth, and such a fact is exemplified by its philosophers who write books stating things they expect their readers to embrace and believe as truth. Putting it simply, one professor has said, “When someone says there is no such thing as truth, they are asking you not to believe them. So don’t.”
Second, Christianity claims that meaningful distinctions exist between the Christian faith and all other beliefs. However, it should be understood that those claiming that meaningful distinctions do not exist between religions are actually making a distinction. They are attempting to showcase a difference in what they believe to be true and the Christian’s truth claims. Postmodernist authors expect their readers to come to the right conclusions about what they have written and will correct those who interpret their work differently than they have intended. Again, their position and philosophy proves itself to be self-defeating because they eagerly make distinctions between what they believe to be correct and what they see as being false.
Finally, Christianity claims to be universally true in what it says regarding man’s lostness before God, the sacrifice of Christ on behalf of fallen mankind, and the separation between God and anyone who chooses not to accept what God says about sin and the need for repentance. When Paul addressed the Stoic and Epicurean philosophers on Mars Hill, he said, “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent” (Acts 17:30, emphasis added). Paul’s declaration was not a “this is true for me, but may not be true for you” statement, but rather an exclusive and universal command (i.e. a metanarrative) from God to everyone. Any postmodernist who says this is false is committing an error against his own pluralistic philosophy that says no faith or religion is incorrect because, once again, he violates his own mandate of saying every religion is equally true.
In the same way that it is not arrogant for a math teacher to insist that 2+2=4 or for a locksmith to insist that only one key will fit a locked door, it is not arrogant for the Christian to stand against Postmodernist thinking and insist that Christianity is true and anything opposed to it is false. Absolute truth does exist, consequences do exist for being wrong, and while pluralism may be desirable in matters of food preferences, it is not so in matters of truth. The Christian is to present God’s truth in love and simply ask any postmodernist who is angered by the exclusive claims of Christianity, “So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16).

Rudi van der Merwe
Naaah no Thanks Rudi it will mean this blog has to be like this?
Nope not Biblical advise. In fact your request is just Totally Absurd!! Sorry I cannot trust you Rudi.
Humans are by their nature unreliable; if we put our complete faith in another person, chances are we’ll be disappointed at some point. By contrast, God is completely trustworthy, and will never let us down when we put our faith in him. http://www.gospel.com/topics/trust+in+god
Jeremiah 17:5 (Amplified Bible)
5Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord.
Trust requires commitment and faith. To trust in someone is to rely on them, to believe in them. In Proverbs chapter 3, we are promised that by trusting in the Lord our paths will be made straight, that is to say, we will be given direction for our lives.http://www.gospel.com/topics/trust+in+the+lord+with+all+your+heart
Proverbs 3:5-6 (Amplified Bible)
5Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.6In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
Rudi
I appreciate your soft answer. Your love and concern for these two young preachers are obvious from your words. I would beg you then to do the one thing that you do not want to do and that is to compare what Leon is teaching here and here to the Word of God. Let this weigh heavy on your heart for Leon’s sake:
Rudi, we are supposed to be good Bereans and to search the Scriptures to see if these things are so and it is not. We do not have a hidden treasure inside of us. Good works do not cancel out false teaching.
Please listen to Mike Horton on Moralistic Therapeutic Deism to understand that it is not Christianity.
Theresa
The Bible [ESV] says:
Peter went up to pray. The Lord Himself taught Peter to pray:
You can listen to Leon’s sermon here and hear for yourself the steps he teaches the young people to take to invoke a trance and even to see God’s face.
The Apostle Peter said that that prophecy was fulfilled on the day of Pentacost:
Nowhere does the Bible teach Christians to induce trances like Leon is doing.
DTW, you have no fear of the Lord! You show no respect to anyone with an opinion other that yours. All you do is quote scripture which I assume you copy and paste from somewhere. You do not know either of one us, yet you have chosen to judge and operate by assumption. The young man Rudi had responded to you with a Spirit of meekness and humility and yet even that you do not respect! I do not care how many times you quote scripture, but you are NOT SPIRIT LED! if anything you are purposely being used as a vessel by the enemy himself, who by the way quotes scripture as well, to bring about division and strife amongst the Body of Christ. Your purpose is not to bring correction but judgement and condemnation. You warn everyone against every ministry, is that so that they will all flock to your online wanna bee pulpit!
In several of your comments you have mentioned that people like Angus Buchan and his like, hype people up with music first. Surely being as knwoledgeable as you are you would know it is called PRAISE AND WORSHIP!!! why don’t you go and try it, God might actually show up and surprise you. Somewhere in one of your blogs you also again attacked Benny Hinn and Rodney Howard Browne and the laughing..you actualy said that you do not find laughing anywhere in the Bible! Seriously if you going to comment on topics that you clearly don’t research but rather just google, then maybe it is because you didn’t spell laughter right that you couldn’t find it! You seem to have very much the same doctrine/opinion as a group on FB called Prepare for War, I see much of the same,if not word for word, comments on certain people..so not sure if you copying them or they copying you or you just have your own little cult going!
As for the comment on rebuking the devil and the fact that once again Jesus never rebuked the devil but quoted the word, well maybe that is because Jesus is the Word, however the 3rd time Jesus did say ” Get thee behind me satan”- that is a rebuke. Maybe you should google the word ‘rebuke’ to see what it actually means. You also claim that nowhere does Jesus tell us to rebuke the devil, well Jesus said that He gave me authority over the powers of darkness. He also said that whatsoever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Jesus Himself has given me His authority to cast out demons, to heal the sick and to set the captives free. Well seeing as you are so familiar with the copy and paste technique of preaching/teaching – I thought I could save you some time and did teh research for you:-
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO REBUKE?
“The Greek word for “rebuke” is epitimao. Oddly enough, the word literally means to “put honor upon something” (epi means upon; timao means honor). However, we’re not so much concerned with its literal meaning as we are with how the word is used in Scripture.
The word appears quite often in the Gospels. Jesus rebuked the winds; Jesus rebuked the unclean spirits from talking; Jesus rebuked an illness; Jesus rebuked people from exposing His identity; Jesus told us to rebuke our brother when he trespasses against us; the disciples tried to rebuke mothers from bringing their children to Jesus; the Pharisees tried to rebuke people from openly praising Him; Jesus rebuked Peter after Peter tried to rebuke Him for explaining His death, burial and resurrection; and finally, Michael the archangel demonstrated that God would rebuke Satan.
The word for rebuke does not mean to “criticize” or “condemn.” From its consistent use in Scripture, it obviously means to prohibit. The word seems to imply a recognition of the rebuker’s authority on the part of the person (or thing) being rebuked, much like an officer issuing orders in the military. Based on its use in Scripture, we would define the word epitimao as: the issuance of a direct order, by a person imbued with authority, for the cessation of a specific action, with the immediate expectation of complete and total obedience to the order.
In other words, rebuke is a command to immediately stop doing something.”
In light of the above definition, We as do have the right to stop/rebuke/prohibit the devil. The same Spirit that lives in Jesus lives in me and therefore whatever Jesus did, I can and will do as well!
You attack Leon for his comment on saving souls, well again the word of God says “He who wins ‘saves’ souls is wise”. You attack Leon’s ministry by telling him that he could never be of any proffesional help to anyone because he is so insulting!!! My word, do you sleep write? Because clearly you are not aware of the way you insult people! But hey, we can do this for the next 20yrs and just like Bruno, Leon and Rudi, I too have better things to do for the Kingdom than cast my pearls before swine! I have orphans to feed, abused and raped woman to counsel and generally just show the love of Jesus to the lost! Pray you have a great evening googling some more people..Google my name, you might find some trash on me too that you could put on your blog! Oh, and when you down in Durban, do look me up, I always love to kick devil butt! but I doubt very much if the spirit which leads you is actually up to the challenge with the Spirit that leads me.
In the words of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ: “Get thee behind me satan!”
Theresa
You know I was going to answer you but on second thoughts decided not to. You go run along now and serve your gods like those you mention you “have known personally, been taught and mentored by.”
You have so many Biblical errors in your comment it will take me almost years to answer and correct you through Scripture.
To attempt to show you on errors from scripture would be a waste of my time as your faith and religion prefers experiential to the Truth and mysticism or spiritism and whatever other ISM there could be to the Word.

39Therefore they could not believe [they were unable to believe]. For Isaiah has also said,
40He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull], to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them.

Are you the fruit of Leon’s ministry?
Theresa
your research attempts was fruitless sorry cannot trust you!!! you are here for no reason other than talking Gibberish!!
Please run along and go…. you are waisting our time. You cannot spread your FALSE BELIEVES!!! on this blog rather go and read and study your Bible.
Theresa
You betcha!!! the spirit that is leading you is demonic.
Naah Theresa we won’t bother to look you up we are not interested. Thank for the invite but we are rejecting it. Insulting people like you are not good company. Your fruits are rotten.
The Bible says:
The Bible says:
Leon is free to preach his gospel of a treasure deep inside of us, but if he calls that and the frantic drive to experience visions and dreams and trances Christianity, then Christians will point out that it is not.
Rudi, both Leon and Theresa contradict what the Bible teaches. Who are you going to follow? Don’t be overly impressed with their ‘good works’. After all, it is like filthy rags.
Here is Chris Rosebrough’s answer when he as accused of not doing any good works:
Rudi, you have some serious thinking to do. Please “compare what is said in the name of God to the Word of God”.
Theresa
Your authority you take upon yourself to like you put it “I always love to kick devil butt!” There is no biblical basis for such a belief.
We just have to make some corrections here as you are misleading thousands of people. Here is a Biblical lesson for you then. Some very important Biblical points to ponder on Theresa/Leon/Bruno/Rudi. You see you people are actually wanting to do Gods work for Him and that is a sin. We Cannot take Gods work from His hands, you then therefore declaring yourselves to be on the same level as God?

2 Peter 2:17-21 (New International Version)
17These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. 20If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
you know every time some one calls you up to a confrontation you refuse your facourite word is NAAAAAA! every noticed it..and know I am not teh fruit of Leons’ministry, was saved long before I met Leon, but you are right I will run along cos I do have better things to do!
Obviously the deluding spirits are having a heyday with Theresa – I was once the prey of false teachers, but the Lord opened my eyes. I do hope that she will allow Him to do that with her also.

Of course it wont be found in the Scripture he is preaching his own nonsense not what is in the Bible!
This makes me think on these Scriptures.
Leviticus 20:27 (New International Version)
27 ” ‘A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’ ”
Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.
Ezekiel 13:9
My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.
2 Peter 2:1
[ False Teachers and Their Destruction ] But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

“The Evil Eye over Evangelicalism”
The Occultization of Evangelicalism
Over the last generation, a similar spell appears to have overtaken evangelicalism, something that has not gone unnoticed by those without the movement. In their opinion, evangelicalism has been “occultized.” In a book titled Occult America, Mitch Horowitz,** a spokesman for the occult and esoteric ideas, notes that New Age religion possesses “a core set of beliefs and a definable point of view.” He then enumerates these beliefs as follows:
1. Belief in the therapeutic value of spiritual or religious ideas.
2. Belief in a mind-body connection in health.
3. Belief that human consciousness is evolving to higher stages.
4. Belief that thoughts, in some greater or lesser measure,
5. determine reality.
6. Belief that spiritual understanding is available without
7. allegiance to a specific religion or doctrine.

Pastor Leon du Preez’s testimony:
And now, it seems to me, Leon uses the Bible as a guide book on how to “experience the manifest presence of God”. Be careful with what you try and convert unbelievers with, because that is what you convert them to and unless it is faith in Jesus Christ to save them from the wrath of God, it is not Christian.
Theresa
Before you go, I have a question for you. You have made your feelings perfectly clear. Would you agree that the Christianity that you hold to is a totally different Christianity to the one that I hold to? Do you agree that we could not possibly be sisters in Christ since you see me as a devil and has cursed and possibly bound me? Would that be a fair assessment?

Very Close Look At The
“God Chasers”
written by Rev. Bob Liichow
Taken from Truth Matters Newsletter
Charismatic believers in general have always been seeking the next “move” of the Spirit or a higher “level” in God because their current practices and experiences do not satisfy their souls. This spiritual ennui is now transpiring as the Toronto/Pensacola phenomena is winding down. Various leaders have been sticking their spiritual fingers in the air seeing which way the wind of the Spirit is now blowing. I believe that Tenney’s book about striving to manifest a mystical presence and experience a non-biblical pseudo-intimacy with God is part of the “next move.”
Tenney is on the cover of the March Charisma magazine, which automatically gives his book global exposure and carries the charismatic imprimatur. He has already been making the “revival rounds.” The Toronto web site has pictures of him teaching at TACF (http:// http://www.tacf.org). There are now a myriad of web sites pushing his book and threads of God Chasers sharing their experiences.
Tenney has no obvious love or even deep appreciation for the Bible, this is apparent from his many snide comments regarding Scripture. He comes from a cultic background, which he has never formally renounced and he is promoting experiences which God has never promised to grant His people.
Tenney also is making a ton of money off his “God Chasers Network.” Like the Promise Keepers before him, Tenney is selling God Chaser license plates, other books, t-shirts, mugs, etc…I am not opposed to anyone selling a product they have produced. But it seems that an entire industry sprang up “overnight” regarding this latest craze. When this too peters out, and it will, Mr. Tenney will be left quite a bit richer and a great deal more deceived.
The growing popularity of his book is further proof that many of God’s people lack a solid biblical foundation in their lives. This lack of doctrinal understanding has left them open to spiritual deception.

Walk don’t Run
It has been a few years since Tommy Tenney became famous overnight from the story of a zap that split a Plexiglas pulpit (it is presumed it was a bolt of lightning). This occurred during the revival meetings that were being held at 3,000-member charismatic church, Christian Tabernacle in Houston.
Tenney teaches, “We need to learn how to entertain and welcome the manifest presence of God to such a degree that just the residue of what has gone on among us brings sinners to the point of conviction and conversion instantaneously. I am hungry for that kind of expression of revival …” (ibid., p. 46).
A residue of His presence is all that is needed to bring sinners to conversion instantaneously! No Word, no witnessing, no explaining. Is this where we are supposed to be headed?

Benny Hinn – A “New” Dark “Anointing”
Not be be outdone by his wife, Benny Hinn has recently been seen growling in a weird voice, laying curses on Christians who disagree with him (this is nothing new), knocking children down with “slain in the spirit” while yelling things like “Fire” and “Execute him”, and prophesying over Paul Crouch with what I can only describe as a papal air. The new “pope” of Charismania, Benny Hinn, is making sure to have all the leaders of the Third Wave on his interview style program these days such as Kenneth Copeland, Rod Parsley, Joyce Meyers and Rodney Howard-Browne. This is so we and they will be sure to understand that it is really Hinn who is the apostolic father with the greatest amount of the “anointing”. What’s next? Crouch and Copeland kissing his ring or feet? I guess since he knocked Paul on his backside, when in an earlier “Praise The Lord” show Crouch had made fun of people who fall backwards needing catchers (interestingly Paul needed one) Paul was right down there next to Hinn’s big toe and should have kissed it while he is there.
We now have these reports streaming in from viewers of the “new” (is anything these people do “new” or even interesting) Benny Hinn “anointing”.

Scripture tells us that we have to heed to people whom will not understand His Word and will distort and twist the Scripture.
2 Peter 3:8-18 (Amplified Bible)
8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.(A)
9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [[a]material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
11 Since all these things are thus [b]in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,
12 While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [[c]material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?(B)
13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.(C)
14 So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, [d]free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
15 And consider that the long-suffering of our Lord [[e]His slowness in avenging wrongs and judging the world] is salvation ([f]that which is conducive to the soul’s safety), even as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the spiritual insight given him,
16 Speaking of this as he does in all of his letters. There are some things in those [epistles of Paul] that are difficult to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist and misconstrue to their own [g]utter destruction, just as [they distort and misinterpret] the rest of the Scriptures.
17 Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind].
18 But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and [h]recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!
and further we have no fear of these False prophets and preacher as the Word then tells us.
Isaiah 41:10 (Amplified Bible)
10 Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.(A)
Amen!!
Agh Benny Hinn you are a chop.

Benny Hinn lost $2M in Uganda
PASTOR Benny Hinn lost $2m on his recent visit to Uganda and two other African countries. Speaking on Light House Television, the international evangelist and author said: “Most people are poor in Africa and it affected the recent crusades.” Hinn said it was difficult to hold the three crusades in Africa. He added that each of the three crusades in Africa was estimated at $1m (sh2.1b) “but these funds could not easily be received.” He only managed to raise $1m from the three crusades. Hinn said that as much as some people may not want to hear him talk about money, “it is important to have money to do God’s work.” He, however, pledged to continue with the healing crusades. “It is impossible to run all the activities of this conference, without charging fees, ” Kayanja defended the charges on the eve of the crusade. “These days it is very hard to get free things. The cost of living is high and we cannot avoid incurring costs.”

To Amanda,
You are quite right, I do not agree with you and that the doctrine that you and I share on Chritianity is not the same. I have not cursed you or bound you, I have however told you that you are defiantely not spirit led – you go and do with that exactly what you want and you can go and extract from it and place your perverted views about it wherever you want. I know who I am in Christ Jesus, I know that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in me and therefore I do believe I am given all authority and power to cast out demons, to lay hands on the sick and to raise the dead (all of these have been fruits of my ministry). I do not and can not believe that you and I are sisters in Christ, for I believe in a Christ that sets people free.On none of your topics have I seen any evidence of the love of Jesus, if anything you refute the work of the Holy SPirit in and through people. You do nothing but to slander, mock and insult ministries that are not of the same opinion as you and your side kicks. You do not have a teachable spirit and by virtue of the fact that you would dare assume that God, Abba Father, can not and for some reason only known to you and your group, appear to people in dreams and visions to bring them to a place of conversion leads me to believe that you box God in to what He can do.Instead of praising God for the converts, if God could speak through a donkey, He can speak to peole in dreams, you mock their testimony and say a ‘False Jesus’ has appeared to them. Do you actually want to see the harvest brought in? It surely doesn;t look like it. You do nothing but judge people for what they do and when they bring correction to you and your group. I have no idea who your overseer is or even if you have one, you and the rest of the admin have also avoided that question on several occassions. So yes before I go, you and I are certainly NOT sisters in Christ, because I believe in the living Christ, who is the same yesterday, today and forever, who died for every single person. And you know, even if all these pastors/ministries, which seems to be every single one on the planet, are so terribly wrong, then rather pray for them than insult them, but at the end of the day if through their ministry one soul can call out and say ” JESUS” shouldn’t that be all that matters. Let God be the judge of the leaders. We are supposse to correct each other in love and with tenderness, but you just attack and condemn. Have you gone the biblical route of actually first speaking to these pastors about the error of their doctrine, and then if they didn’t listen did you thentake elders to speak to them and then only do you make their error public? Have you done that, seeing that you are so bent on doing everything biblically? That log in your eye must really be starting to weigh you down! Don’t bother to comment as I won’t be back…
Oh and by the way, you can go and tell the whole world via the internet or any other method, that I cursed you and bound you as you put it! Do whatever you feel led to do,because at the end of the day God is not mocked!
The only good thing I have to say about your website it that it prooves to me that we are living in the ends times and I take great joy in the return of Jesus!
Tit 3:10 Have nothing to do with a person who causes divisions after you have warned him once or twice.
Tit 3:11 For you know that a person like this is corrupt and keeps on sinning, being self-condemned.
Now what has changed your mind to come back to this blog?? Go and do your better things whatever it is that you wanna do!!
We are really soooooooo tired of your silly comments and your ways you are twisting The Scripture.
About your Scripture Tit 3:10-11 it is so used out of context and you can go find that out for yourself or ask your overseers. This is a Discernment blog that will show out every possible False teaching and Apostasy there is to see for the whole world and will not stop doing this.
You have said twice now you will not come back to this blog.
The first time you said :”but you are right I will run along cos I do have better things to do!”
and the second time you said: “So yes before I go”.
Before you change your mind again please go read every article and comment written on this blog. As it seems you have no idea what this blog is about. You also don’t seem to know what the meaning of Discernment is. Why? because the false prophets and false churches you support will never teach you this. In fact I don’t even think you know there are false Prophets, false teachers and false churches.
Theresa
This blog does not follow any doctrine but THE WRITTEN SCRIPTURE known as THE WORD OF GOD.
About word for word comments on a facebook page on certain people?? Theresa stop telling lies please.
In fact here is an excerpt from that facebook page info:
This would be the page to join if you’re already set in your religion and willing to learn, give up and let go. And then declare war against Satan and his demons.
Oops Theresa do you see what I see? They declare war against Satan and his demons AND that is excactly what you claim to do by having said: “I always love to kick devil butt!” and you also said “Get thee behind me satan!”
another exerpt form this face bookpage: Demons will be bound on this page and banned. Please respect that we are children of the King, Jesus Christ, and are here to equip each other and pray together, against Satan and his demons, in the name of the Lord! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/Prepare4War?v=info&ref=search
Oops Theresa and lookie here what your favorite teacher Benny Hinn says : “This is why angels to this day cannot rebuke Satan. Jude says, even Michael will not bring an accusation against the devil. Why? Because angels are lower today than Satan who holds the office of Adam. But we, as joint heirs with Christ in heavenly places, are higher than Adam [background voice says, “and angels and angels.”] “So, today, angels cannot rebuke Satan, but we can, because we are on the same level as the Son on earth.” “We’re not God, we’re the children of God. We’re god-like in our Spirit man, not in our flesh. Thank God, our flesh will die and we are gonna have a new body. The Bible says, when we shall see Him our bodies shall be like Him, but our spirit man is already like Him.” http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/hinncult.html
And I say again you run along and worship your gods en cult like people and carry on to try and raise people from the dead.
Scripture quoted at bottom of page who? is copying and doing so word for word
What you consider to be “defending” the Church from false prophets, many fruitful christians – disciples call this Criticism. The following quote is from MR Chambers whose life speak more than yours and mine. Maybe this will make you think about your attitude and your fruits. ”
Criticism serves to make you harsh, vindictive, and cruel, and leaves you with the soothing and flattering idea that you are somehow superior to others – you must constantly beware of anything that causes you to think of yourself as a superior person.” O. Chambers
Theresa
You have said harsh things about me and you have known me less than a week. People who really know me can add a lot more to your list, let alone God who will judge not only every word and deed, but also every thought. I know that I have broken God’s Law all my life, but accuse me of breaking a single one today and I will self-righteously argue my case why that is not so.
You said:
You are correct. That is exactly what God should do.
Bruno
Jesus Christ said:
Paul did not think that we should put up with someone proclaiming another Jesus or a different spirit or a different gospel:
Bruno, there is no hidden treasure deep inside of us. Leon is lying to you.
Bruno said the following :
June 10th, 2010 at 11:00 am :”I will not waste my time any longer”
June 14th, 2010 at 2:57 pm :ah ah ah ah ah ah.Blessings.
June 14th, 2010 at 10:10 pm: I will not WASTE my time with your bunch
Why are you back Bruno you have given nothing but insults on this blog since your first comment in your weak attempt to defend Leon.
Bruno we are thought in the Word that we will know fellow Christians by the fruits of the spirit. Now lets have a quick BIBLICAL lesson here. Gal 5
What are Not fruits of the spirit?
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,
20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper),selfishness , divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),
21 Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
What are the fruits of the Spirit?
Galatians 5:22-26
22But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[f]that can bring a charge].
24And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.
25If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit [g]we have our life in God, let us go forward [h]walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]
26Let us not become vainglorious and self-conceited, competitive and challenging and provoking and irritating to one another, envying and being jealous of one another.
Bruno You need to seriously look at your fruits it is very troublesome the see you claim to be a Christian and your fruits show opposite. Your comments on this blog shows very clearly that you have NO LOVE as we are commanded by the Word of God. We will pray for you Bruno, that is all we can do. My advise to you is make sure that your conversion was not a false one as it is happening all the time in the false churches you support.
Luke 10:27
And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.
Bruno not you, Theresa or Leon has shown that you obey the most important 2 commandments in the Word of God the verse above Luke 10:27 towards any one on this blog. You take care of yourself now.
Wise words spoken: excerpt posted.
Man – The Dwelling Place of God
by A. W. Tozer
How to Try the Spirits
2. The next test is: How has this new experience affected my attitude toward the Lord Jesus Christ? Whatever place present-day religion may give to Christ, God gives Him top place in earth and in heaven. “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased,” spoke the voice of God from heaven concerning our Lord Jesus. Peter, full of the Holy Spirit, declared: “God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36). Jesus said of Himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Again Peter said of Him, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12) . The whole book of Hebrews is devoted to the idea that Christ is above all others. He is shown to be above Aaron and Moses, and even the angels are called to fall down and worship Him. Paul says that He is the image of the invisible God, that in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily and that in all things He must have the preeminence. But time would fail me to tell of the glory accorded Him by prophets, patriarchs, apostles, saints, elders, psalmists, kings and seraphim. He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. He is our hope, our life, our all and all, now and forevermore.
All this being true, it is clear that He must stand at the center of all true doctrine, all acceptable practice and all genuine Christian experience. Anything that makes Him less than God has declared Him to be is delusion pure and simple and must be rejected, no matter how delightful or how satisfying it may for the time seem to be.
Christless Christianity sounds contradictory but it exists as a real phenomenon in our day. Much that is being done in Christ’s name is false to Christ in that it is conceived by the flesh, incorporates fleshly methods, and seeks fleshly ends. Christ is mentioned from time to time in the same way and for the same reason that a self-seeking politician mentions Lincoln and the flag, to provide a sacred front for carnal activities and to deceive the simplehearted listeners. This giveaway is that Christ is not central: He is not all and in all.
Again, there are psychic experiences that thrill the seeker and lead him to believe that he has indeed met the Lord and been carried to the third heaven; but the true nature of the phenomenon is discovered later when the face of Christ begins to fade from the victim’s consciousness and he comes to depend more and more upon emotional jags as a proof of his spirituality.
If on the other hand the new experience tends to make Christ indispensable, if it takes our interest off our feeling and places it in Christ, we are on the right track. Whatever makes Christ dear to us is pretty sure to be from God.
3. Another revealing test of the soundness of religious experience is, How does it affect my attitude toward the Holy Scriptures? Did this new experience, this new view of truth, spring out of the Word of God itself or was it the result of some stimulus that lay outside the Bible? Tender-hearted Christians often become victims of strong psychological pressure applied intentionally or innocently by someone’s personal testimony, or by a colorful story told by a fervent preacher who may speak with prophetic finality but who has not checked his story with the facts nor tested the soundness of his conclusions by the Word of God.
Whatever originates outside the Scriptures should for that very reason be suspect until it can be shown to be in accord with them. If it should be found to be contrary to the Word of revealed truth no true Christian will accept it as being from God. However high the emotional content, no experience can be proved to be genuine unless we can find chapter and verse authority for it in the Scriptures. “To the word and to the testimony” must always be the last and final proof.
Whatever is new or singular should also be viewed with a lot of caution until it can furnish scriptural proof of its validity. Over the last half-century quite a number of unscriptural notions have gained acceptance among Christians by claiming that they were among the truths that were to be revealed in the last days. To be sure, say the advocates of this latter-daylight theory, Augustine did not know, Luther did not, John Knox, Wesley, Finney and Spurgeon did not understand this; but greater light has now shined upon God’s people and we of these last days have the advantage of fuller revelation. We should not question the new doctrine nor draw back from this advanced experience. The Lord is getting His Bride ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb. We should all yield to this new movement of the Spirit. So they tell us.
The truth is that the Bible does not teach that there will be new light and advanced spiritual experiences in the latter days; it teaches the exact opposite. Nothing in Daniel or the New Testament epistles can be tortured into advocating the idea that we of the end of the Christian era shall enjoy light that was not known at its beginning. Beware of any man who claims to be wiser than the apostles or holier than the martyrs of the Early Church. The best way to deal with him is to rise and leave his presence. You cannot help him and he surely cannot help you.
Granted, however, that the Scriptures may not always be clear and that there are differences of interpretation among equally sincere men, this test will furnish all the proof needed of anything religious, viz., What does it do to my love for and appreciation of the Scriptures?
While true power lies not in the letter of the text but in the Spirit that inspired it, we should never underestimate the value of the letter. The text of truth has the same relation to truth as the honeycomb has to honey. One serves as a receptacle for the other. But there the analogy ends. The honey can be removed from the comb, but the Spirit of truth cannot and does not operate apart from the letter of the Holy Scriptures.
For this reason a growing acquaintance with the Holy Spirit will always mean an increasing love for the Bible. The Scriptures are in print what Christ is in person. The inspired Word is like a faithful portrait of Christ. But again the figure breaks down. Christ is in the Bible as no one can be in a mere portrait, for the Bible is a book of holy ideas and the eternal Word of the Father can and does dwell in the thought He has Himself inspired. Thoughts are things, and the thoughts of the Holy Scriptures form a lofty temple for the dwelling place of God.
From this it follows naturally that a true lover of God will be also a lover of His Word. Anything that comes to us from the God of the Word will deepen our love for the Word of God. This follows logically, but we have confirmation by a witness vastly more trustworthy than logic, viz., the concerted testimony of a great army of witnesses living and dead. These declare with one voice that their love for the Scriptures intensified as their faith mounted and their obedience became consistent and joyous.
If the new doctrine, the influence of that new teacher, the new emotional experience fills my heart with an avid hunger to meditate in the Scriptures day and night. I have every reason to believe that God has spoken to my soul and that my experience is genuine. Conversely, if my love for the Scriptures has cooled even a little, if my eagerness to eat and drink of the inspired Word has abated by as much as one degree, I should humbly admit that I have missed God’s signal somewhere and frankly backtrack until I find the true way once more.
7. The last test of the genuineness of Christian experience is what it does to our attitude toward sin.
The operations of grace within the heart of a believing man will turn that heart away from sin and toward holiness. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Tit. 2:11-13) .
I do not see how it could be plainer. The same grace that saves teaches that saved man inwardly, and its teaching is both negative and positive. Negatively it teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. Positively it teaches us to live soberly, righteously and godly right in this present world.
The man of honest heart will find no difficulty here. He has but to check his own bent to discover whether he is concerned about sin in his life more or less since the supposed work of grace was done. Anything that weakens his hatred of sin may be identified immediately as false to the Scriptures, to the Saviour and to his own soul. Whatever makes holiness more attractive and sin more intolerable may be accepted as genuine. “For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity” (Psa. 5: 4, 5).
Jesus warned, “There shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they should deceive the very elect.” These words describe our day too well to be coincidental. In the hope that the “elect” may profit by them I have set forth these tests. The result is in the hand of God.

Benny Hinn and Neanderthal Man
The FACTs in plain sight
by Bud Press, Director
Christian Research Service

The word evolution is defined as, “1. gradual development. 2. development of species from earlier forms, as an explanation of origins” (The Oxford Desk Dictionary and Thesaurus, Oxford University Press, 1997, p. 262).
According to evolution, Neanderthal man was a part of the “Human Evolution Sequence,” which is said to have evolved from monkeys, arrived in Europe approximately 300,000 years ago, then went extinct approximately 20,000 to 30,000 years ago ( ://tinyurl.com/c4z967 ).
In short, evolution teaches that monkeys and humans have shared the same family tree, dating back millions of years.
With that in mind, read what Benny Hinn and Paul Crouch, Jr. discussed during the May 3, 2010 TBN “Praise the Lord” telecast:
Benny Hinn: There was a race on this earth. They were not created in God’s image and likeness. That’s why no salvation was offered them.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Neanderthal? Neanderthal man?
Benny Hinn: Could be. We don’t know that. I believe, yes. But they were creatures, half-animal/half-man, described in detail in Revelation, we’ll go to in just a second.
[End of transcript]
The telecast may be viewed at ://tinyurl.com/34wzkg7 (scroll down to the Monday May 3, 2010 telecast and click on 300k for best viewing. The above discussion begins at 40:09 into the telecast).
Christianity teaches that man and woman did not evolve from apes, but were created by God. The creation of man (Adam) is found in Genesis 2:7-8:
Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.
The creation of woman (Eve) is found in Genesis 2:21-22:
So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
Some reading this may think, Benny Hinn is just confused or He made a simple mistake. But Benny Hinn claims to have direct communication with the Holy Spirit. If he were serving the real God of the Bible he wouldn’t be a false prophet and false teacher.
FACT Man did not evolve from apes.
FACT Evolution is a lie.
FACT Neanderthal man never existed.
FACT The Bible refutes evolution and Benny Hinn and Paul Crouch, Jr.
FACT Benny Hinn needs to be avoided at all costs!
Well, it seems that you are on your mission – “I am evil, because you are evil”… See you in heaven…
Bruno
You cannot have it both ways. You cannot call us evil and pretend that we will be in heaven anyway. Jesus Christ said:
Bruno, are you a teacher and yet you do not understand these things? You claim to have back and forth conversations with the Holy Spirit and yet He has not revealed this to you? Jesus Christ said of Him:
Amanda
The sad thing is Bruno, Theresa and Leon do not understand what we are trying to bring to their hearts. A very very sad situation indeed. May God help those who want to be helped. And the Holy Word says leave them they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.
Luke 23:34-35 (Amplified Bible)
34 And Jesus prayed, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they divided His garments and distributed them by casting lots for them.(A)
35 Now the people stood by [[a]calmly and leisurely] watching; but the rulers scoffed and sneered ([b]turned up
their noses) at Him, saying, He rescued others [[c]from death]; let Him now rescue Himself, if He is the Christ (the Messiah) of God, His Chosen One!
Matthew 15:14
Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
Dear Amanda and Elmarie, you judge people because you think you know the Word and thus you think you know the heart. I amazed that you don’t undertand that your perception of me and others is greatly influenced by the the status – quality of your spiritual eyes – the lamp of your body…
Check what the Master says in Luke 11:33-42
33 No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or crypt or under a bushel measure, but on a lampstand, that those who are coming in may see the light.
34 Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye (your conscience) is sound and fulfilling its office, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound and is not fulfilling its office, your body is full of darkness.
35 Be careful, therefore, that the light that is in you is not darkness.
36 If then your entire body is illuminated, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright [with light], as when a lamp with its bright rays gives you light.
37 Now while Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee invited Him to take dinner with him, so He entered and reclined at table.
38 The Pharisee noticed and was astonished [to see] that Jesus did not first wash before dinner.
39 But the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside you yourselves are full of greed and robbery and extortion and malice and wickedness.
40 You senseless (foolish, stupid) ones [acting without reflection or intelligence]! Did not He Who made the outside make the inside also?
41 But [dedicate your inner self and] give as donations to the poor of those things which are within [of inward righteousness] and behold, everything is purified and clean for you.
42 But woe to you, Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every [little] herb, but disregard and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done without leaving the others undone.
The love of God will give you access to people’s heart and true authority to correct is based on trust and on a pure heart desiring to build up.
I wrote ““I am evil, because you are evil”… See you in heaven” Knowing that you would respond WITHOUT any understanding… EVIL dos not mean that YOU ARE GOING to HELL… It means that you call me to be something BASED on your distorted view of the Word and the Love and the justice of God…
As for “See you in heaven” – I deliberately provoke you because I know you think and believe we are going to hell.
You and your friends, are judging people using the Word of God – I really hope you are perfect and without sin… BECAUSE FOR THE LAST TIME : You are not like the Son of God in your attitude and Words..
No matter what I will say, you will come on me like a pharisee. I don’t know you so I can not say you are going to hell, I confirm that according to your reaction : you manifest a pharisaical spirit – superior – judging everyone according to
litteral interpretation of some verses of the Word, without HIS heart… If you truly want to restore people, 1. START to intercede for them. 2 Build relationship with them. 3. When trust is established, share with them what you perceive to be a mistake or a serious error of doctrine. 4. BE sure to walk in the light. 5. Walk a road with that person.
This being said, thank you for your time… Learn to see people through HIS eyes and you will bring life instead of trying to help with condemnation and judgement and bringing guilt and a spirit of fear on people around you… Because many who are weak and who do not have a strong fellowship with God’s Spirit will be weakened by your attitude. More than your words, people who submit themselves to your teaching will get your spirit.
In His love,
Bruno
Bruno
Bruno I say again it is not our place to judge or condem anyone. We are not doing what you are accusing us of.
Consider this: “What does the Bible mean that we are not to judge others?”
Answer: This is an issue that has confused many people. On one hand, we are commanded by the Lord Jesus, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). On the other hand, the Bible also exhorts us to beware of evildoers and false prophets and to avoid those who practice all kinds of evil.
How are we to discern who these people are if we do not make some kind of judgment about them?
Christians are often accused of “judging” whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses that state, “Do not judge.” There is a righteous kind of judgment we are supposed to exercise—with careful discernment (John 7:24). When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically. Matthew 7:2-5 declares, “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” What Jesus was condemning here was hypocritical, self-righteous judgments of others.
In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for his sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is his Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with his sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope—and with the ultimate goal—of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20) and restoration to the fellowship. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God’s Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction.” We are to “judge” sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences—the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Thank you I have read what God says in the Scripture.
Matthew Henry’s Whole Bible Commentary
Verses 37-54
Christ here says many of those things to a Pharisee and his guests, in a private conversation at table, which he afterwards said in a public discourse in the temple (Mt. 23); for what he said in public and private was of a piece. He would not say that in a corner which he durst not repeat and stand to in the great congregation; nor would he give those reproofs to any sort of sinners in general which he durst not apply to them in particular as he met with them; for he was, and is, the faithful Witness. Here is,
I. Christ’s going to dine with a Pharisee that very civilly invited him to his house (v. 37); As he spoke, even while he was speaking, a certain Pharisee interrupted him with a request to him to come and dine with him, to come forthwith, for it was dinner-time. We are willing to hope that the Pharisee was so well pleased with his discourse that he was willing to show him respect, and desirous to have more of his company, and therefore gave him this invitation and bade him truly welcome; and yet we have some cause to suspect that it was with an ill design, to break off his discourse to the people, and to have an opportunity of ensnaring him and getting something out of him which might serve for matter of accusation or reproach, v. 53, 54. We know not the mind of this Pharisee; but, whatever it was, Christ knew it: if he meant ill, he shall know Christ does not fear him; if well, he shall know Christ is willing to do him good: so he went in, and sat down to meat. Note, Christ’s disciples must learn of him to be conversable, and not morose. Though we have need to be cautious what company we keep, yet we need not be rigid, nor must we therefore go out of the world.
II. The offence which the Pharisee took at Christ, as those of that sort had sometimes done at the disciples of Christ, for not washing before dinner, v. 38. He wondered that a man of his sanctity, a prophet, a man of so much devotion, and such a strict conversation, should sit down to meat, and not first wash his hands, especially being newly come out of a mixed company, and there being in the Pharisee’s dining-room, no doubt, all accommodations set ready for it, so that he need not fear being troublesome; and the Pharisee himself and all his guests, no doubt, washing, so that he could not be singular; what, and yet not wash? What harm had it been if he had washed? Was it not strictly commanded by the canons of their church? It was so, and therefore Christ would not do it, because he would witness against their assuming a power to impose that as a matter of religion which God commanded them not. The ceremonial law consisted in divers washings, but this was none of them, and therefore Christ would not practise it, no not in complaisance to the Pharisee who invited him, nor though he knew that offence would be taken at his omitting it.
III. The sharp reproof which Christ, upon this occasion, gave to the Pharisees, without begging pardon even of the Pharisee whose guest he now was; for we must not flatter our best friends in any evil thing.
1. He reproves them for placing religion so much in those instances of it which are only external, and fall under the eye of man, while those were not only postponed, but quite expunged, which respect the soul, and fall under the eye of God, v. 39, 40. Now observe here, (1.) The absurdity they were guilty of: “You Pharisees make clean the outside only, you wash your hands with water, but do not wash your hearts from wickedness; these are full of covetousness and malice, covetousness of men’s goods, and malice against good men.” Those can never be reckoned cleanly servants that wash only the outside of the cup out of which their master drinks, or the platter out of which he eats, and take no care to make clean the inside, the filth of which immediately affects the meat or drink. The frame or temper of the mind in every religious service is as the inside of the cup and platter; the impurity of this infects the services, and therefore to keep ourselves free from scandalous enormities, and yet to live under the dominion of spiritual wickedness, is as great an affront to God as it would be for a servant to give the cup into his master’s hand, clean wiped from all the dust on the outside, but within full of cobwebs and spiders. Ravening and wickedness, that is, reigning worldliness and reigning spitefulness, which men think they can find some cloak and cover for, are the dangerous damning sins of many who have made the outside of the cup clean from the more gross, and scandalous, and inexcusable sins of whoredom and drunkenness. (2.) A particular instance of the absurdity of it: “Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? v. 40. Did not that God who in the law of Moses appointed divers ceremonial washings, with which you justify yourselves in these practices and impositions, appoint also that you should cleanse and purify your hearts? He who made laws for that which is without, did not he even in those laws further intend something within, and by other laws show how little he regarded the purifying of the flesh, and the putting away of the filth of that, if the heart be not made clean?” Or, it may have regard to God not only as a Lawgiver, but (which the words seem rather to import) as a Creator. Did not God, who made us these bodies (and they are fearfully and wonderfully made), make us these souls also, which are more fearfully and wonderfully made? Now, if he made both, he justly expects we should take care of both; and therefore not only wash the body, which he is the former of, and make the hands clean in honour of his work, but wash the spirit, which he is the Father of, and get the leprosy in the heart cleansed.
To this he subjoins a rule for making our creature-comforts clean to us (v. 41): “Instead of washing your hands before you go to meat, give alms of such things as you have” (ta enonta- of such things as are set before you, and present with you); “let the poor have their share out of them, and then all things are clean to you, and you may use them comfortably.” Here is a plain allusion to the law of Moses, by which it was provided that certain portions of the increase of their land should be given to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow; and, when that was done, what was reserved for their own use was clean to them, and they could in faith pray for a blessing upon it, Deu. 26:12-15. Then we can with comfort enjoy the gifts of God’s bounty ourselves when we send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared, Neh. 8:10. Job ate not his morsel alone, but the fatherless ate thereof, and so it was clean to him (Job 31:17); clean, that is, permitted and allowed to be used, and then only can it be used comfortably. Note, What we have is not our own, unless God have his dues out of it; and it is by liberality to the poor that we clear up to ourselves our liberty to make use of our creature-comforts.
2. He reproves them for laying stress upon trifles, and neglecting the weighty matters of the law, v. 42. (1.) Those laws which related only to the means of religion they were very exact in the observance of, as particularly those concerning the maintenance of the priests: Ye pay tithe of mint and rue, pay it in kind and to the full, and will not put off the priests with a modus decimandi or compound for it. By this they would gain reputation with the people as strict observers of the law, and would make an interest in the priests, in whose power it was many a time to do them a kindness; and no wonder if the priests and the Pharisees contrived how to strengthen one another’s hands. Now Christ does not condemn them for being so exact in paying tithes (these things ought ye to have done), but to think that this would atone for the neglect of their greater duties; for, (2.) Those laws which relate to the essentials of religion they made nothing of: You pass over judgment and the love of God, you make no conscience of giving men their dues and God your hearts.
3. He reproves them for their pride and vanity, and affectations of precedency and praise of men (v. 43): “Ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues” (or consistories where the elders met for government); “if you have not those seats, you are ambitious of them; if you have, you are proud of them; and you love greetings in the markets, to be complimented by the people and to have their cap and knee.” It is not sitting uppermost, or being greeted, that is reproved, but loving it.
4. He reproves them for their hypocrisy, and their colouring over the wickedness of their hearts and lives with specious pretences (v. 44): “You are as graves overgrown with grass, which therefore appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them, and so they contract the ceremonial pollution which by the law arose from the touch of a grave.” These Pharisees were within full of abominations, as a grave of putrefaction; full of covetousness, envy, and malice; and yet they concealed it so artfully with a profession of devotion, that it did not appear, so that they who conversed with them, and followed their doctrine, were defiled with sin, infected with their corruptions and ill morals, and yet, they making a show of piety, suspected no danger by them. The contagion insinuated itself, and was insensibly caught, and those that caught it thought themselves never the worse.
IV. The testimony which he bore also against the lawyers or scribes, who made it their business to expound the law according to the tradition of the elders, as the Pharisees did to observe the law according to that tradition.
1. There was one of that profession who resented what he said against the Pharisees (v. 45): “Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also, for we are scribes; and we are therefore hypocrites?” Note, It is a common thing for unhumbled sinners to call and count reproofs reproaches. It is the wisdom of those who desire to have their sin mortified to make a good use of reproaches that come from ill will, and to turn them into reproofs. If we can in this way hear of our faults, and amend them, it is well: but it is the folly of those who are wedded to their sins, and resolved not to part with them, to make an ill use of the faithful and friendly admonitions given them, which come from love, and to have their passions provoked by them as if they were intended for reproaches, and therefore fly in the face of their reprovers, and justify themselves in rejecting the reproof. Thus the prophet complained (Jer. 6. 10): The word of the Lord is to them a reproach; they have no delight in it. This lawyer espoused the Pharisee’s cause, and so made himself partaker of his sins.
2. Our Lord Jesus thereupon took them to task (v. 46): Woe unto you also, ye lawyers; and again (v. 52): Woe unto you lawyers. They blessed themselves in the reputation they had among the people, who thought them happy men, because they studied the law, and were always conversant with that, and had the honour of instructing the people in the knowledge of that; but Christ denounced woes against them, for he sees not as man sees. This was just upon him for taking the Pharisee’s part, and quarrelling with Christ because he reproved them. Note, Those who quarrel with the reproofs of others, and suspect them to be reproaches to them, do but get woes of their own by so doing.
(1.) The lawyers are reproved for making the services of religion more burdensome to others, but more easy to themselves, than God had made them (v. 46): “You lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, by your traditions, which bind them out from many liberties God has allowed them, and bind them up to many slaveries which God never enjoined them, to show your authority, and to keep people in awe; but you yourselves touch them not with one of your fingers;” that is, [1.] “You will not burden yourselves with them, nor be yourselves bound by those restraints with which you hamper others.” They would seem, by the hedges they pretended to make about the law, to be very strict for the observance of the law; but, if you could see their practices, you would find that they not only make nothing of those hedges themselves, but make nothing of the law itself neither: thus the confessors of the Romish church are said to do with their penitents. [2.] “You will not lighten them to those you have power over; you will not touch them, that is, either to repeal them or to dispense with them when you find them to be burdensome and grievous to the people.” They would come in with both hands to dispense with a command of God, but not with a finger to mitigate the rigour of any of the traditions of the elders.
(2.) They are reproved for pretending a veneration for the memory of the prophets whom their fathers killed, when yet they hated and persecuted those in their own day who were sent to them on the same errand, to call them to repentance, and direct them to Christ, v. 47-49. [1.] These hypocrites, among other pretences of piety, built the sepulchres of the prophets; that is, they erected monuments over their graves, in honour of them, probably with large inscriptions containing high encomiums of them. They were not so superstitious as to enshrine their relics, or to think their devotions the more acceptable to God for being offered at the tombs of the martyrs; they did not burn incense or pray to them, or plead their merits with God; they did not add that iniquity to their hypocrisy; but, as if they owned themselves the children of the prophets, their heirs and executors, they repaired and beautified the monuments sacred to their pious memory. [2.] Notwithstanding this, they had an inveterate enmity to those in their own day that came to them in the spirit and power of those prophets; and, though they had not yet had an opportunity of carrying it far, yet they would soon do it, for the Wisdom of God said, that is, Christ himself would so order it, and did now foretel it, that they would slay and persecute the prophets and apostles that should be sent them. The Wisdom of God would thus make trial of them, and discover their odious hypocrisy, by sending them prophets, to reprove them for their sins and warn them of the judgments of God. Those prophets should prove themselves apostles, or messengers sent from heaven, by signs, and wonders, and gifts of the Holy Ghost. Or, “I will send them prophets under the style and title of apostles, who yet shall produce as good an authority as any of the old prophets did; and these they shall not only contradict and oppose, but slay and persecute, and put to death.” Christ foresaw this, and yet did not otherwise than as became the Wisdom of God in sending them, for he knew how to bring glory to himself in the issue, by the recompences reserved both for the persecutors and the persecuted in the future state. [3.] That therefore God will justly put another construction upon their building the tombs of the prophets than what they would be thought to intend, and it shall be interpreted their allowing the deeds of their fathers (v. 45); for, since by their present actions it appeared that they had no true value for their prophets, the building of their sepulchres shall have this sense put upon it, that they resolved to keep them in their graves whom their fathers had hurried thither. Josiah, who had a real value for prophets, thought it enough not to disturb the grave of the man of God at Bethel: Let no man move his bones, 2 Ki. 23:17, 18. If these lawyers will carry the matter further, and will build their sepulchres, it is such a piece of over-doing as gives cause to suspect an ill design in it, and that it is meant as a cover for some design against prophecy itself, like the kiss of a traitor, as he that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him, Prov. 27:14.

Bruno
I am willing to walk the road with you and the Bible will be the sole authority on what is true and what is false. Let’s just clear up your confusion on what we are doing here. The standard that you set for us is to be like the Son of God. That is not what we are trying to do. We preach repentance and the forgiveness of sins in His Name (Luk 24:47)and we contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jud 1:3)
We hold to an extreme theology that is constantly under attack. The only thing we can do is to stand on the Word and to reject anything that contradicts it. If we speak of sin and righteousness and judgment (Joh 16:8) and fear of the Lord, it is because Jesus Christ spoke of it (Mat 10:28). We should not soften it because somebody’s feelings might be hurt. We do not do it out of malice, but to prepare the way to deliver the Good News. We should proclaim the Law “so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.” (Rom 3:19-20)
Theresa is fully convinced of my sinfulness and she is right to agree with God that I should receive justice. Furthermore, when people demand a list of my good works [to cancel out my bad ones, I suppose], I don’t have any and cannot answer them. I have never even helped an old lady across the street, let alone raised somebody from the dead. When you look at my performance you can only conclude that I am an utter failure. The fact that I think kittens are cute cannot redeem me from smiling at my neighbour and calling him a fool in my heart. In the race to righteousness, I am a non-starter. Yet I have full assurance that I will hear the words:
It is outrageous that one such as myself could have such assurance! Either I am deluded or God’s Word is true:
My sins that Theresa has listed plus all the others, past, present and future, have been atoned for. I sin and Jesus Christ bore the full punishment. In stead of justice, I get grace.
This is the outrageous claim of Christianity and a stumbling block to Theresa that God could give so much grace to a sinner and that my faith in Jesus Christ would count as righteousness.
Bruno, when you wrote to provoke me, you did not get the response you were looking for, because I agree with you that we cannot judge whether somebody is truly saved or not. But we can and we must judge if teachings are true. If you were saying that evil will inherit heaven, your were wrong and I showed you why. Now you can judge if I am correct to say that faith in Jesus Christ, and not works, is how sinners are justified in front of a holy Judge.
Hi All, Elmarie Bruno Leon and Theresa.
Wow what a debate!!!
Few points, but first THERESA!! PLEASE WRITE IN PARAGRAPHS!!!!!!!!!
LEON! the term “Kick some devil butt” to me my brother is made from a lack of maturity somewhat and a lack of understanding of the word of God. I believe that some people are used to deliver people but it is not to be done in a patronizing name calling manner. Jude and Peter should teach you about how to view Satan. Not even the arc angel Michael brought an accusation against the devil but said rather let the Lord rebuke you. There is a principple here Leon. The devil may be a fallen angelic being but he is still an angelic being. And i say this tongue in cheek Leon but it is he who could kick your butt if God so let him.
The principle is you have no power or authority apart from Christ.
Still with Leon: Leon you stated on your website;
“Please be advised that the material which I have gleaned from and caught has been from Kim Clement, Benny Hinn and my own experiences with the Holy Spirit, founded on scripture.
LEON: Benny Hinn has been shown by the words of his own mouth that he is a false prophet. He has stated that Jesus would one day soon walk down the aisle physically and appear with him on stage. And what did Jesus say about that: Mark 13:
21 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it.
22 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect— if that were possible.
So Leon, who am I to believe in this ,a man called Benny Hinn or Jesus. Leon have you ever heard of a guy called “Marjoe Gotner” well if you think that a man can say Jesus is Lord with his mouth but not be false then google this mans name. He did a documentary about himself in the 70s. It is in nine parts on youtube. I suggest you watch it all.
BRUNO: Ditto for you.
THERESA: Binding and loosing: This is not about binding the devil but it is about discipline in the church of a sinner. Read the chapter again and look at all the verses. It begins about a “brother who sins” and then continues and in the middle mentions the “binding and loosing verse and then continues with the conversation on “How many times must I forgive my brother”. Theresa, I ask you, humbly..how does one take a teaching about binding the devil from these verses. In fact if you go through Revelations you will see that an angel is given the authority to bind Satan…once.
Now I understand, the term binding could loosely apply to stopping his work in an individual through deliverance. But no individual has the power the right or the authority to personally bind the Devil. And as I have seen it written ” if people are binding the devil who keeps loosing him” . I personally go no further than this, “we are not unaware of his schemes.”
ELMARIE. As you may be aware I have recently joined the debates here and understand the need to bring discernment. It is certainly not going on in our individual churches at least in my experience. People can buy what books CD.s attend whatever conferences etc they want and no one in leadership warns them or at least discusses these teachers. In the part of the body I attend some will buy teachings and books of Benny Hinn and some will abhor what he is about and so on with others, but the leadership seems to have no opinion. Hence the rise of these discernment sites.
That said I need to mention one man. Neville Norden. I am sharing a house with a Lady from S.A and she knows him personally over many years and her son is a youth pastor there who I have met and he is a lovely Godly man who loves Jesus. I know thats just my opinion. My friend says that Neville Norden is an absolute Godly lovely man and she was quite shocked that you spoke out against him. And incidentally she says that he and others warned and pleaded with ray McCauley to not go the way he went. her point was that your associating them together in a positive light was wrong. What is your thoughts about this.
Greg.
Greg
On a side note, Marc Bredenkamp is Pastor Leon and Pastor Bruno’s senior pastor. Marc’s prophetic word South Africa is on Neville’s webpage.
There is more.
Theresa is also a prophet:
There is more. All Law, no Gospel.
Welcome again Greg and Amen to your understanding for discernement and you are in my prayers with your struggles in Mosselbay.
Greg most churches of today really preach a different Gospel. The churches dont want to preach about real discernment because then the phews will be empty and the pastors/preachers will be poor. Most churches I know of in our area of Pretoria east have also done the Rick Warren Purpose Driven thing and 40 day fasting. But Rick Warren is another fish of colour as you may well know or find out.
Correct yes because it is all just one big big interwoven network world wide. My opinion is they are preparing the churches toward the coming one world religion one day soon.
Yes the leaders would actually rather punt these Heretics books and that is sad. Now I ask is this because the leaders are blinded or are the wolves in sheep clothing. Some of us with discernment have to read these books and watch these dvds so that we can warn others against it. Ezekiel 33:6
A discernment site could also be dangerous espescially if they cannot give proof for their findings and I have found some of them on the internet, they are then false discernment sites. We are to test absolutely everything to see whether it proceed for God. I cannot stress that enough. 1 Thessalonians 5:21
Yes Greg and please tell your lady friend i’m very sorry and it was an absolute shock for me as well to have found out Neville Norden forms part of the false teachers and churches too. You can follow my comments to Ruoall above and read all and follow all the links that confirms my findings that Neville is part of the false churches and decide whether you agree with me or not. You know it makes me think about a verse in the Word where it says they will deceive even the elect and it makes one very sad. But these are Biblical facts.
Christians aren’t to automatically accept every claim that is made by somebody supposedly speaking for God. The Bible is clear that we are to test every claim we hear against Scripture; if it contradicts something taught by Scripture, we should steer clear.
Jesus said Himself: Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones).
Godbless and peace be with you.
Amanda
Yes as you say : “There is more. All Law, no Gospel.” I Echo your words yes!!

More rabid rabbits from Hinn’s heresy hat – Yikes!!
Benny Hinn Strikes Again on TBN!
More rabid rabbits from Hinn’s heresy hat
by Bud Press, Director
Christian Research Service
http://www.christianresearchservice.com
June 20, 2010
Those who tuned in to the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s Monday, May 3 telecast listened to Benny Hinn pull a verbal stream of rabid rabbits from his hat of many heresies.
The telecast, titled Angels, was hosted by the spiritually disturbed Paul Crouch, Sr., and his equally disturbed son Paul Crouch, Jr. When Paul Crouch, Sr. turned the always disturbing Benny Hinn loose on the TBN audience, they sat wide-eyed and mesmerized as Hinn thrilled and chilled them with his usual disturbing and foreign-to-the-Bible statements.
And what did Benny Hinn teach during the almost two hour telecast?
* the pre-Adamic age (gap theory).
* the existence of Neanderthal man (evolution).
* angels and free will (both heavenly and demonic).
* Christians having a free will in heaven, and the need for Jesus to pray for Christians in heaven–to keep them saved.
For detailed information on Benny Hinn’s gap theory and Neanderthal man, refer to the Recommended Reading section at the end of this article.
Indeed, there are serious ramifications to what Benny Hinn said and taught. No doubt that his teachings caused confusion and great fear in many of his followers.
Free will in heaven?
The following word-for-word transcript is from the May 3, 2010 TBN telecast at http://tinyurl.com/34wzkg7 . The transcript begins at 1:36:03 into the telecast and ends at 1:37:26. In it, Benny Hinn clearly demonstrates his reckless abandon of Scripture, regardless of how damaging it may be:
Benny Hinn: And angels to this day can decide to rebel against God.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Even now.
Benny Hinn: Even now!
Paul Crouch, Jr.: That was one of the questions, “Do angels have free will?”
Benny Hinn: Yes, they have free will. That’s why a third of them chose to not serve God.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Even today.
Benny Hinn: Even today.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Wow!
Benny Hinn: And may I add, this is, uh, this is something that is gonna cause a lot of questions: Why is Jesus gonna pray for you forever? If you’re in heaven why does He need to pray for you?
Paul Crouch, Sr.: He maketh intercession for the saints?
Benny Hinn: Forever!
Paul Crouch, Sr.: According to the will of God.
Benny Hinn: But forever. Why forever?
Paul Crouch, Sr.: Why?
Benny Hinn: To keep us obedient.
Paul Crouch, Sr.: Cause?
Benny Hinn: We will have a free will in glory.
Paul Crouch, Sr.: Whoa!
Paul Crouch, Jr.: And could change our mind.
Benny Hinn: Exactly.
Paul Crouch, Sr.: Oh! Benny!
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Wow. Now that’s heavy.
Paul Crouch, Sr.: I mean, I’m underwater right now.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: That’s deep!
Benny Hinn: That is heavy! When you get to heaven, when you get to heaven, only His prayer will keep you there.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Wow!
Benny Hinn: He intercedes for us forever. You had better ask your-yourself, Wait! If I’m in, in heaven, why do I need prayer by the Son of God Himself?
Paul Crouch, Jr.: That’s right.
Benny Hinn: To keep me saved in heaven! To keep me in the presence of God!
[At this point, Paul Crouch, Sr. asks Paul Crouch, Jr. “Have you ever heard that?” Paul Crouch, Jr. answers, “No. I have never…”]
Paul Crouch, Sr.: [looks at the audience and asks] How many have never heard that before? Let me see your hands. [As the camera pans the audience, many hands are raised]
Benny Hinn: Well, why would He pray forever?
Paul Crouch, Sr.: Well, of course.
Paul Crouch, Jr.: Interesting. It’s good.
[End of transcript]
Like his father, Paul Crouch, Jr.’s level of discernment is three digits lower than a houseplant. What Benny Hinn taught is neither interesting or good. It is repulsive and detestable, and further demonstrates Hinn’s vivid and fertile imagination, as well as his ability to sell people the shirts off their own backs.
It is important to note that during his diatribe, Benny Hinn failed to include Scriptural references to back his teachings. He couldn’t, because there are none! As with all false teachers, Hinn depends on the failure of his followers to study God’s written word and apply the Biblical test (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
But for the record, the following passage of Scripture solidly refutes what Hinn said to untold numbers of TBN followers worldwide:
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory” (1 Corinthians 15:50-54, NASB).
Do Christians have a free will and the sin nature (ability to sin)? Yes. Do Christians sin? Yes. Are Christians to confess sin and seek God’s forgiveness? Yes (1 John 1:6-10). Once in heaven, will Christians have the sin nature? NO!
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself (Philippians 3:20-21).
Heaven is the paradise of God. For the Christian, there will be no tears or death, no grieving or pain, and no sin (Revelation chapter 21). Take the words of Jesus Christ to heart:
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand (John 10:27-29).
Sadly, those who believe what Benny Hinn said might think, If I have a free
will in heaven, that means I have the ability to sin. And if I sin in heaven, will I
be cast out of heaven and into hell? So, why bother going to heaven in the first
place? Why bother being a Christian?
These are the serious ramifications to what Benny Hinn said and taught during the telecast. Words have the ability to build up or tear down, and no doubt that Hinn’s words caused confusion and fear in the minds of the innocent and gullible.
Therefore, where does the Bible teach: 1. Christians will have a free will in heaven? 2. When in heaven, Christians can change their minds? 3. Jesus will pray for Christians in heaven forever to keep Christians obedient, saved, and in God’s presence? Simply put, it doesn’t.
But as long as people adore, listen to, defend, and financially support Benny Hinn Ministries, Hinn will continue to use words to distort the Bible to his own destruction, and the destruction of his followers (2 Peter 3:13-18).
Rules to live by–and die for
Over the years, the damage Benny Hinn has done to the cause of Christ has spread beyond the church and branched out into the secular world. Across the internet, the unsaved think Benny Hinn is a joke. They wrongfully equate Benny Hinn with Christianity, and get plenty of laughs along the way through his on-stage shenanigans and circus-like performances.
Those who follow Benny Hinn and abide by the Word of Faith rules and regulations live in a world of make-believe, and a constant state of anxiety and upheaval. The simplicity that is in Christ and the peace and confidence He provides is replaced by suspicion, fear, paranoia, and depression.
Those caught up in the Word of Faith movement have been conditioned into believing a lie, and brainwashed into accepting Word of Faith prophets and teachers as their ultimate and final authority. Behind the scenes, those who separate from the Word of Faith movement find themselves alone and hurting, shunned and denounced by family and friends, and looked upon as reprobates, unfit to open a Bible and call themselves Christian.
The savagery of deception is without sympathy and compassion.
As far as Benny Hinn’s followers are concerned, to disagree with Hinn and deny his teachings is to “attack” the “anointed” and deny the very words of God. To step away from the Word of Faith movement and renounce its teachings is considered apostasy, with hell as the only alternative.
Live by the rules, or die. Life in the cults is no different.
Benny Hinn is not only a false prophet and false teacher, he is a fear-monger who instills fear into the minds of his followers. Those who fall for Hinn’s intimidation tactics are doomed to live their lives in fear, night and day, while looking over their shoulders for a demon behind every tree.
During the May 3 TBN telecast, Benny Hinn had his followers
sitting at his feet, applauding him, and bobbing their heads up and down in approval. They were so anesthetized and absorbed in what Hinn was saying that he could have announced that he was three-eyed frog from the Mormon planet Kolob, and his followers would have bobbed their heads up and down in agreement. To live by Word of Faith rules is to die a slow, agonizing death, eaten alive spiritually on the inside, where the heart and soul dwells.
What more does the Word of Faith movement have to do to convince its followers that it isn’t Christian? What more does Benny Hinn have to say and do to convince his followers he is not of God?
Final comments: For those who support TBN
The introduction to the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s telecasts informs the viewer that,
The following program is produced and sponsored by you, the TBN partners, and is only made possible through your generous support.
The Trinity Broadcasting Network is the largest promoter of fake prophets, fake teachers, and fake healers on the planet. If you are a TBN partner, or even an occasional contributor, keep in mind that it is your money that supports the savage wolves that growl and howl on the TBN airways.
By the way, what more does TBN have to do to prove it isn’t Christian?

El Marie, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Most of us can’t stomach watching The Blasphemy Network. What really is grievous to me is that there is such a mixture of truth and error to fool the undiscerning.
This is beyond the pale – we can lose our salvation in heaven? And no one challenges this? Even for Hinn this is out there. Deception breeds more deception.
Why in the world do men of great reputation such as Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie, David Jeremiah and others see the need to fraternize with these heretics – not Hinn, but appearing on TBN. Is there any difference? Just asking.

A discernment site could also be dangerous espescially if they cannot give proof for their findings and I have found some of them on the internet, they are then false discernment sites. We are to test absolutely everything to see whether it proceed for God. I cannot stress that enough. 1 Thessalonians 5:21
Echoing those words of wisdom! There are many wolves out there dressed up like sheep declaring about the Rapture and claiming to have discernment, but have no more savvy than a dinner roll. A good test is to see to whom they link. I have seen one site that looks good on the surface but promotes false teachers and links to them. Be VERY careful!!

That is soooooooooooo interesting you say that. While on my vacation (which I am still on by the way lol) I realised that anyone who tries to stop this website or me for that matter or anyone else who speaks the gospel truth is scared. Note to: Dion Forster and Thomas Scarborough.
