Seeking Salvation or Deliverance?

Praying hands - need help - seeking deliverance

Need Help?  Are you seeking deliverance or are you just seeking salvation?  You have come to the right place!

I am going to get right to the point regarding deliverance because I know you are desperate and need urgent help.  If you want salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of God and you need deliverance from either affliction or possession, please follow steps No. 1) through to No. 6), otherwise please just pray the wonderful sinners prayer we have for you that you may be born again and then do step No. 1 and No. 6).

Here are the steps you need to follow for salvation and for deliverance:

This is for anyone; those who think they are Christian but are not sure, those who are Charismatic, Pentecostal (believing in Baptism of the Holy Spirit by sign of gifts, ie., speaking in ‘heavenly’ tongues), Zionist (ZCC church), Anglican, Catholic, Calvinist, Seventh Day Adventist, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc. Those in the Occult / New Age, Wiccan, Pagan or an unbeliever be that an atheist, agnostic etc. Or if you are Hindu, Buddhist, or Muslim etc.

“7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (James 4:7-8)

A Christian but plagued by a demonic spirit in your home?

Please refer to step No. 5 and No. 6) if you are a Christian but were disobedient to God and sinned by bringing something of occult origin into your home and you find yourself plagued by a demonic entity.  “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20).  BUT  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  (1 John 1:9)

Cleaning your house inside and out:

1)  Clean your home

You need to throw away ALL the non Christian books you have (excluding your bible, get a KJV bible and if necessary a bible in your language – you can use the KJV bible to compare verses to make sure the translation is correct.) Throw away so called Christian books as well – if you are certain the book is genuinely Christian please keep it.  Throw away all videos, CD’s and DVD’s that are not Christian, you can keep anything that you are certain is genuinely Christian, but if you are not 100% sure please just get rid of it.  Break those music CD’s that you have – yes even the so called ‘Christian’ ones, you have no idea if they are really Christian, probably not – Hillsong is not Christian. Any so called anointed objects, throw them away.  Any so called Christian paintings or occult pictures/paintings, tear them up and throw them away. Anything on your pc/laptop that is not biblical delete it.  Any pictures of ‘Jesus’ – this is not Jesus (no one know what He looks like), tear it up and throw it away. You will remove everything ungodly from your house, even that African mask you have on the wall, throw it away, any statues – throw it away. Any gifts you received that have any kind of spiritual connotation, throw it away.  Anything to do with Angels – throw it away. Prayer cards – throw it away. If you are in the occult / New Age / Wicca etc., throw away everything, books, jewelry, statues, ritual items, including all your black clothes.  Any Halloween items in your house, throw them away.  If you are a Buddhist, Hindu or Muslim etc., please throw away anything that connects you to these religions, including; religious texts, books, statues, paintings, jewelry and religious clothes etc.

If you are fasting:

Stop fasting, you are making your mind weaker and weaker that you can’t spiritually fight off a demonic attack.

2) Now get a piece of paper and a pen.

I want you to make a list of every sin in your life, that includes any churches you went to where someone laid hands on you.  If you have had ‘fire’ called down on you or the church congregation you were sitting in, list this as well.  If you speak in so called ‘heavenly’ tongues, list this as well.  A false baptism of the holy spirit in water, yes please list this. List everything in your life from the very personal right down to the fact that you smoke (if you smoke) and drink (if you have a drinking problem – most people deny they have a problem, if you can’t go without it you have a problem, if you like getting drunk at parties, mention it). Drug addiction. If you attended 1 yoga class list it please, if you meditated or soaked list that as well.  Belief in Reincarnation, Evolution, Feminism or the belief in Karma etc.  List any so called Christian books that you bought or were given to you about peoples so called visits to Heaven and Hell and other strange doctrines or anything anointed be that a prayer cloth, oil or painting etc.  (If there are too many books to mention just mention them as a group of books.) If you experienced any electricity or feelings of heat come over your body, if you convulsed, or where ‘Slain in the Spirit’ please list this.  If you were supposedly ‘healed’ by a preacher. Please read article: Can Satan Heal?  If someone ‘prophesied’ over you in any way.

Please try remember everything, it should take you a while to compile this list. If you struggle to compile this list, you feel like something is preventing you or holding you back, please don’t stop, just do it.  If you can’t remember everything, it’s okay, make a broader list on certain things and just say, ‘all those CD’s I had where I would soak/meditated while listening to the music”.  Mention the name of preachers who you followed, like TB Joshua for instance right down to the so called innocent preachers like John MacArthur. Mention if you practiced breathing exercises, or ‘silence’ where you cleared you mind, or practiced Yoga. Mention if you have committed adultery.  Had an abortion.  Mention if you watch or are addicted to Pornography.  Homosexuality. Mention the names of sexual partners –  if you don’t know their names just mention them as a group. Mention if you are abusive in any way to your spouse and or children. Mention if you were visited by an angel or something posing as Jesus Christ. Mention if you hear God audibly.  Mention if you have dreams and or visions or had your dreams interpreted.  I’ve you’ve ever been to see a Spiritualist, i.e., Tarrot reader or a Medium of any kind (including Pet Mediums who speak to your pets) etc., – mention it.  Mention if you had an awakening or illumination while meditating etc. If you ever partook in a Freemasonry ritual or any other secret society ritual.  Practiced Martial Arts. Had Hypnosis, Reiki or been for Acupuncture to manipulate the flow of energy (Chakras) within your body etc., please mention this. Anything you have forgotten just list it as ‘things I have forgotten”.  Important: Please also mention that you want to break any demonic affliction in your life that was passed on to you from your parents. If you can see demonic spirits, ‘ghosts’ or have seen people that have passed away etc., please mention this as this is clairvoyance and you need to be delivered from this.  Also mention music, including so called ‘Christian’ music, if you are addicted to heavy metal music, rock music or even pop music for that matter please mention it, you need deliverance from this, music and lyrics plays a big role in the life of so many who think it’s not harming them spiritually, but it is. See here: Music: Compromising God’s Standards to Accommodate Youth.

Try your best to list everything you can remember, you know if you have tried your best and Jesus Christ knows you have tried too.

3) Diligently seek Jesus Christ:

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

Once you have made your list I want you to pray this sinners prayer out loud, diligently seeking Jesus Christ as your Saviour:

“Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life; and is the only Mediator between You and man. Heavenly Father, I believe that Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ paid the price for mankind through His sacrifice on the cross, He was buried, and rose again 3 days later.  I acknowledge to You Lord Jesus Christ that I am a sinner. You shed Your precious Blood on the cross for me, Your blood washes away my sin, covers me and cleanses me.

I am truly sorry for the sinful, shameful life I have lived.   I want to repent Lord Jesus, I want to turn away from my sins. Please forgive me of all my sins Lord Jesus, I earnestly repent.  Forgive me of my sins as I forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me, I hold no grudges anymore.

You are my Saviour Lord Jesus, only you. I truly desire to serve You, Lord Jesus.  I pray that You would help me to hear Your still small voice.  Heavenly Father, I want to be baptised by the Holy Spirit, I want the Holy Spirit to come and abide in me, I desire to be led by Your Holy Spirit so I can faithfully follow You and obey all of Your commandments.  I want the conviction of the Holy Spirit in my life when I sin.

I want to thank you for the forgiveness of all my sins, and the glorious gift of salvation and everlasting life you have given me.  At this very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ the Son of God is my Savior and according to His Word, right now I am born again, in your mighty precious name.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for coming into my life and thank You for saving me. Amen”

4) Continue the prayer if you need deliverance from possession and/or demonic affliction and say the following:

“Heavenly Father, dear Lord Jesus, here is a my list of sins that I want to mention to You one by one that I need deliverance from, and I ask that you please remove all demonic affliction and or possession from me, break ALL demonic chains of evil over my life. Thank you Lord Jesus! Amen”

Now, start listing your sins (books, secrets, personal life, meditation, people who laid hands on you, false baptism of the holy spirit, speaking in heavenly tongues (gibberish), music, everything you can think of) and read them out loud, one by one and ask Jesus Christ to remove ALL demons from you and break ALL chains of demonic affliction/possession over your life on each one. Ask that Jesus Christ please deliver you from all these sins and break all chains binding you, included all sins you forgot to mention. After you have listed them, thank Jesus Christ for your deliverance, and praise Him.

5) You might have the demon that is in you or attached to you manifest in your home:

If this happens, I know it will be difficult but do not fear, it’s only there to cause fear.  Do not communicate with it, do not request it’s name, you use the Word of God only to force it to leave, it has NO choice, Jesus Christ’s Word is FINAL,  Jesus Christ has CONQUERED Satan at the cross, you already have the VICTORY through Jesus Christ the Son of God:

First start by reading this out aloud (you don’t have to mention the verses at the end as Satan knows the bible well):

Jesus Christ the Son of God says;

“Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you” (Deu 3:22)

“The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence, I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies” (2 Sam 22:3-4)

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” (Isa 54:17)

“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isa 59:19)

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”  (Matt 4:10)

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matt 25:41)

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor 15:57)

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Cor 2:14)

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor 10:3-5)

I will be strong in the Lord, I will “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph 6:11-12)

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Cor 2:15)

“And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (2 Tim 4:18)

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (Js 4:7)

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”  (1 John 4:4)

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1 John 5:4-5)

Now repeat the following (until you are sure all demonic entities have left).  If need be repeat the above again.

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Cor 2:15)

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (Js 4:7)

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor 15:57)

Say this with confidence, as Jesus Christ has already won the battle and because you are now a born again child of God, that battle has been won for you and you have the authority to use Jesus Christ’s name because you are now a child of God. Keep saying this until all demonic manifestations have left your home. You will get resistance, and they might try stop you by confusing your mind that you can’t think properly, or tell you that you are not strong enough.  It’s not you who is strong, it’s Jesus Christ who is the One who defeated Satan on the cross who is strong.  Just keep using God’s Word against them to get out of your home and your life in Jesus Christ’s name.  Important to note:  When Jesus was in the wilderness being tested by Satan (Matthew 4:1-11) He did not not have a conversation with Satan when Satan tested Him, He quoted the Word of God only against Satan and he fled.

Thank Jesus Christ from the bottom of your heart and worship Him by thanking Him for what He has done for you – Start reading your bible (not other books) and if you are going to a charismatic church please stop going, and stop following all false doctrine.  How do you know if what you are following or believing in is false?  You test it against the Word of God, if it does not tie up 100% to what the bible says, then it is false.  You stop immediately, ask Jesus for forgiveness and move on to the truth.  Please read:  Testing the Spirits – True Spiritual Discernment

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1 Peter 5:8)

6) How do we stop him from attacking us after we are born again?

We put on the armour of God with God’s help: You gird your waist with truth, put on breastplate of righteousness, shod your feet with preparation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, put on the shield of faith which quenches attacks from Satan, put on the helmet of salvation by believing that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again, and finally the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God.  You apply these pieces of armour daily, you arm yourself by obeying God’s commandments, repenting to Jesus Christ when you sin and ask Jesus Christ to help you to not sin again, and in doing so guard yourself against any attack from Satan.  See bible scripture below:

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

If you need more help regarding deliverance or what it is that caused Satan to attack you, please comment and we will try to help you.

You mentioned seeing people who have died. A Christian friends if mine saw a vision of her father in her home recently. He had dabbled in the occult, much to her disappointment. She has also seen visions of other people at times in her house. To my knowledge, she hasn’t participated in occult activity. Could her late father’s activity (tarot cards, potions, etc.) have “opened a door,” so to speak, that is affecting her?

  • Dear Daisy

    >> Could her late father’s activity (tarot cards, potions, etc.) have “opened a door,” so to speak, that is affecting her?

Absolutely. If she is not saved, she needs to be saved and then in prayer ask Jesus Christ to remove all demons afflicting her including being able to ‘see dead people’ – which is demonic. If she is saved then she needs to ask Jesus Christ in prayer to take away this ability called clairvoyance – its a demonic entity that’s afflicting her and Jesus Christ will immediately take this affliction away if she asks.

You see the demon is tempting her and waiting to see her reaction, if she accepts it as being “ok” then she has willingly accepted Satan into her life by going against God’s commandments in the Word of God and because of this more demonic entities will come to temp her to the point she wont know what is truth anymore.

I’m more confused about faith in Jesus and Christianity Religion now than ever.

My family in Louisiana has always acted like they were close to God and better than us in Florida. Also they have very strict rules and home school there children. Very Active in there Church. 3 days a week. My aunt is a counselor. Uncle a Deacon. Cousin’s are praise and worship and also help with Bible studies. I spent a whole week hanging out with my cousin and got very close to her almost too close. Really connected and talked about anything and everything. We actually declared we’re best friends. I actually was excited because towards the end of the week I went to church with them(my old church) and was very excited to live my life with Jesus. Even though I’ve always lived my life for him. I just quite going to church.

Ok big problem they left and when my cousin would call on the phone she started talking about this Guy and son Andrew and John Eastman. Music Guitar group. The dad Andrew does prophetic PRAYER messages. You kneal before him and he gives a message that relates to a issue in your life everytime to anyone no matter who you are. Also sounds very biblical. Very encouraging. But my family takes Jesus and God serious so you can image how powerful these messages are. But he does it on command one person after the other.

Next thing she tells me my aunt and other cousin speak in tongues. At this point I can barely breath I’m freaked out because I’ve never heard of this stuff in my life.

Then my cousin said some guy came and prayed for him and he was annointed/slain in the holy Spirit when he was 10 years old and fell backwards on the ground crying and convulsing for a long time. My stomach was about to vomit when he told me this. How my aunt could allow her child to experience something like that. She thought she was surrendering them to God. What the heck is going on?

They are sucked into this weird church. I mean trapped. My cousin’s are in love with the Pastor and I’ve tried telling her to escape she’s apart of some weird crap and I don’t want nothing to do with her Religious church or her ways. I’m actually considering becoming Atheist if this is how church is suppose to be and is how God treats his followers.

Please help me out Foreal my family’s future is at stake!!!!

  • TL_92

    >> I’m actually considering becoming Atheist if this is how church is suppose to be and is how God treats his followers.

People who follow false teaching are not God’s followers/children of God, they are Satan’s followers. Now…why would you blame God and deny God (become an atheist) when it’s man’s fault for following false teaching given to them by none other than Satan himself? You should not be blaming Jesus Christ, but Satan.

Let’s use this example, you have 2 friends. One is mean and nasty and the other is good. One day the mean and nasty friend goes out of their way to hurt your feelings. You instead of blaming the mean and nasty friend, you blame your good friend instead. Does that make sense? No. So why on earth will you blame God for Satan’s evil doings.

God protects His Children, those who want to have a relationship with Him and OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS as WRITTEN IN THE WORD OF GOD. Those who don’t want to know God and follow after demonic false teaching (as you have mentioned in your comment) have no COVERING from God and are open to Satanic attack.

God does not take people’s minds and FORCE them to believe in the Gospel Truth, He gives everyone a choice to believe whatever they want. God wants to see who is truly FOR Him and who is REALLY against Him.

You saying you follow Jesus, but yet at a whim you want to deny God. Honestly do you want to know what I think. My dear you are not genuinely saved, and you need to get on your knees and sort out your own salvation with Jesus Christ with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12) BEFORE you start worrying about the rest of your family.

    Understand? :)

  • SheepDog

I just have to say that although there is a lot of truth to this, you do need to clean your house of anything of the occult, and any articles that you are clinging to spiritually, and the secular music and so on, yes, totally.

Now in the spiritual realm there is the side from God and the side from satan. Both have supernatural power. The demonic is of the devil, and the Holy Spirit is of God. The Bible clearly explains which are of God. Just because there is an occult counterfeit, does not mean God’s power in our lives is not real anymore. Everything the Bible talks about for the early church IS for us today. It is the devil who wants to deceive the church into thinking otherwise so their power is limited. We DO get the baptism of the Holy Spirit and assorted gifts (not all get tongues), we do have power to cast out demons, and so on if we are walking uprightly in Christ. Just because some churches get crazy and even into the occult, does not nullify the real which is of God. I know this by personal experience that lines up with the Word of God. Those who deny the working of the Holy Spirit today are in danger of blaspheming the Holy Spirit so be careful before you say all of that is ‘from the devil,’ because the real is from God. Even the pharisees railed against Jesus when He exorcised demons, claiming He did it by Beelzebub when it was by the Holy Spirit; the power of God and not the devil. The Bible teaches that the gifts go on until we are in His kingdom and see Him ‘face to face’ in 1 Cor. 13. Wolves like John MacArthur will twist this around for the reasons I just said.

  • Dear Sheepdog

When you speak in tongues, do you have an interpreter to know what you are saying?

When we are born again we ARE baptised in the Holy Spirit – He comes to ABIDE in you. We do not believe in the doctrine of cessationism like John MacArthur etc. We do believe that God CAN and WILL do miracles and let people speak in EARTHLY tongues WITH an interpreter for the sake of PREACHING the gospel. :)

  • Johan

I am a member of a Pentecostal church and there is regular speaking in tongues during our Sunday morning services, but this is always in an orderly fashion. There is almost always an interpreter of what was said.
The pastor is strict and everything always happens in an orderly fashion. Teaching is always from God’s word and sin is openly condemned from God’s Word as the basis.
I know that this ministry is of the opinion that the teachings of the Pentecostal denomination is false – I do agree that the teachings and practices of most Pentecostal/Charismatic churches are questionable but I always test what is taught at my Church based on God’s Word and have never had any concerns.

  • Dear John

Tell me, why do you need to speak in so called heavenly tongues (gibberish) when you have the Word of God in your pastor’s hands so that he can preach the FULL GOSPEL to you in English?

Being orderly when speaking tongues does not maketh tongues speaking biblical. Do you realise that the interpreter can also be of Satan?

What could possibly be said in a heavenly tongue that is not already in the Word of God? New Revelation I ask?

Earthly tongues is for preaching the gospel to people (unbelievers – 1 Co 14:22) who do not understand your mother tongue – God gives you the gift to speak in that persons language so they may hear the gospel and be SAVED.

You said “I always test what is taught at my Church based on God’s Word and have never had any concerns.”

If you never have any concerns then I would be concerned if I was you. It appears you are deceived already on the tongues speaking issue.

  • Johan, I just love your “There is ALMOST ALWAYS and interpreter of what was said.” God is never satisfied with an almost always. “Almost always” is usually the culprit that misleads people into error, deception and lies, and guess what? God hates lies because it comes from the father of all lies. (John 8:44). Perhaps you could tell us in what languages the members of your church speak. You should at least know that, not so? Are they existent and well-known languages or are they heavenly languages? How many languages are there in heaven? I’m sure you have read this before.

Wherefore tongues (plural) are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. (1 Co 14:22)

It seems that you have a congregation filled with unbelievers. You’d better start preaching the unadulterated word of God so that they may be saved.

    Dear Will

How do you know those cds, videos and books are really Christian?

    Kind regards

    Dear Will

I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to put this as a comment as I believe it will help someone understand why when a nominal Christian (someone who thinks they are a Christian but are not) is seeking salvation or deliverance they will probably have to throw away all their SO CALLED Christian CD’s, videos and books…for the simple fact that they are probably not Christian at all.

  • Brendan Philbrick

    Deborah, I have a question.
When you say “Christian books” does that also include a book like The Case for Christ? Which follows a journalist as he investigated The Word and things about God’s Word and became a follower of Yeshua? A book that actually strengthens the believer? I am legitimately curious, I’m just looking for answers.
BTW, I just read the article The Holy Spirit Vs. The Unholy Spirit. That article have changed my life.
BTW, I think I accidentally put my email in wrong, there’s a capital “U” at the start.

  • Hi Brendan

Hmmmmm, you are right. When I said all books, I should have said all ‘supposed’ Christian books, not genuine ones. Smile/ If you think this is a genuine book, please keep it.

I will change the article. Up/

    >> You said “BTW, I just read the article The Holy Spirit Vs. The Unholy Spirit. That article have changed my life.”

    I am soooooo happy! Yes/

  • Brendan Philbrick

Thank you, that clears things up a bit.
What about other books? Is it a sin to read any book that isn’t The Bible?
I have a bookshelf and it has books like 1984, Atlas Shrugged, The Book Thief, and The Dairy of A Young Girl.
I don’t let my reading of other books take time over my reading of God’s Word (which I have several ways of reading/listening to), so is it a sin? Unsure/

  • Hi Brendan

Noooo it’s not a sin to have other books that arn’t the bible. It’s just that in the case of a deliverance and you are caught up in false Christianity for instance you need to get rid of all books that preach another Gospel and another Jesus Christ. Satan will use these books to try and steer your thinking away from the truth, so just get rid of them for the time being. When you are born again and stronger spiritually (you will know when that time is) you can start to buy Christian books again. I have a library full of utter nonsense, the difference is I know it’s nonsense and it’s there for research purposes.

Here is a good example. When I had just been born again I was presented by a friend the book called Heaven is so Real by Choo Thomas. I was so excited to read my first Christian book. I got to page 20 and I was in utter distress and crying… I thought “why can’t I hear from God that way she does? Why can’t I be a special daughter to God like she is?” Then this gentle whisper said to me in my subconscious, “Throw the book away”. Then suddenly another voice much louder said “NO! You can’t throw this book away it’s God’s word”. This spiritual battle continued for half a day. Until finally I jumped up, went to the kitchen, took the book, tore it up and threw it in the bin. The RELIEF was astounding. The bondage I was under by Satan to not throw this book away was astronomical – His plan was he was going to use it to guide me to ANOTHER Jesus ANOTHER gospel that is totally antichrist. The relief I had after listening to the Holy Spirit was amazing. I was overjoyed to realise it was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. I heard Him and I was obedient to His warning.

I bought the book again, and read it, this time to write and article to warn people. The book is in my library.

And this doesn’t mean that I can’t be deceived, gosh I read stuff all the time and think? “Can that be true?, really? Wow”. And then as the day (or days) go by I learn the truth, either through lots of research or just a gentle whisper from the Holy Spirit who says “No!” and a reminder in my mind of scripture as to why it’s not true. So you need to be ON GUARD at all times. Satan is constantly seeking to destroy you. When you are saved the attack increases.

Just when I thought I “got delivered” ! Been through so much.. The circus of satanic attacks continued in my life for over two years.. Confessed/repent till my ears bled!.. Sought a contrite heart/godly sorrow..ect.. The Flesh wars against that… Power is dangerous without humility. Tired of all of it..Weary is the word the bible uses. Been to Churches that don’t even believe were in a war! Pastors who have absolutely no experience and operate in unbelief / no Authority: Though their Good bible teaching rocks..Go figure! It is hard to find knowledgeable, experienced persons who KNOW what they are doing when it comes to deliverance. One thing I have to stress is once you have rid of yourself the pestilent spirit, seven will seek to come back.. Be ready ! Have your Armour on. KNOW Who you are in Christ. The “Room” the (Bad Spirit) was (same place where the sin resided/stronghold)/ best be Re-filled with Gods Spirit, generally Love, joy, peace,or any other fruit of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise they just come back to the ‘House they had made home of previously and set up shop and that state of that person will be even worse off.. Been There, experienced that! Beware the enemy is real.. I thank God ,Jesus Christ has put them all under his feet. The kingdom of darkness is defeated.
Having had all these experiences ..I look forward to leading others to freedom when God makes that appointment.. The beginning of this thread was spot on concerning what to do except for Being sure the “room” vacated is re-filled with the Holy Spirit. Reflect on why Paul talks about Put offs and Put ons’.. Before you reply.
