Woman & Delightfully Deceptive New Age Ministries
There is a massive increase in Woman New Age ministries popping up all over South Africa under the disguise of Christianity.
Delightfully Divine Woman Ministries run by Luzanne Nel and Melinda du Plessis is one of them.
The name of their ministry is absolutely terrible. Delightfully Divine Women? This is completely shocking and totally unbiblical. When you become a born again Christian you grow to become more Christ-like, you DO NOT become like Christ or a Christ or anything Divine for that matter. However in New Age teaching you do, you become a god, you realise you are a god trapped in a human body part of a huge cosmos.
Delightfully Divine Woman Ministries say on their website:
Our Vision: Is to be obedient to what the Lord put in our hearts: to build a ministry that will uplift women in a practical fashion, inspiring them to live a fulfilled life in the Lord in their personal divine purpose
Our Mission: Putting our faith into action and fulfill the purpose He gave us!
Clearly they New Age Woman they have read Rick Warrens Purpose Driven Drivel books. (Please read, URGENT WARNING: Rick Warren – A New Age Prescription For Your Health). Now their vision and mission it seems is not to preach the Gospel at all, but too do and speak other unbiblical things that are not found in the bible – let’s have a look shall we…
Their next event will take place on the 15 January 2011, where all woman are requested to:
“Bring your Mother, your Daughter, your Grandmother, or even just a Friend. You will be leaving refreshed and revived ~ Mind, Body, Spirit & Soul”. There is no cost, which is the catch and ultimately draws the crowds. All you are requested to do is “bless their ministry” with an offering “should you feel the desire in your heart to do so”.
The content of the seminar contains:
“Praise, Thanks & Worship, Teaching / Testimony, Soaking, Healing Dance Ministry & One-on-One Prayer.” Dress casual as you need to “Be prepared to set your feet and spirit free to Worship and Dance before Our King”. [Emphasis added]
Soaking is another word for Meditation (the occult version, not biblical prayer). Meditation crept into the church under the disguise of being Christian many years ago and is increasing in popularity. Just because you listen to so called Christian music while practicing an occult practice does not make it Christian. Meditation trains one to clear one’s mind of wandering thoughts and focus on the absolute truth or all. This type of meditative prayer seeks to experience God’s presence through mystical practices, which is dangerously esoteric as you enter a trance like meditative or contemplative state.
While everyone at Delightfully Divine Woman Ministriesare meditating and clearing their minds, the Bible tells you that you are to:
1 Peter 5:8 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
The title of the seminar is Give Praise and Thanks. But to whom? I find it fascinating that no where on the newsletter, nor anywhere on their website do they mention the name of Jesus Christ. But then again they are a New Age ministry disguised as Christian so I should not be that surprised.
Luzanne and Melinda are staging “Delightfully Divine Woman Ministries Healing Dance” or “spirit-led dance therapy to break loose from bondage, to restore broken hearts, to become One with THE ONE and move in the rhythm and flow as [sic] God works in your heart“. [Emphasis added]
There are 2 problems with this; 1) It’s completely unbiblical, 2) It’s completely and utterly New Age.
- No where in the bible does one find spirit led dance therapy or anything of the kind.
- You can’t set the Holy Spirit free but you certainly can freely invite other unclean spirits to enter you.
- The Holy Spirit of the Bible DOES NOT dance, nor does He lead anyone too dance. The fake ‘holy spirit’ (6th Chakra – Third Eye) found in New Age teaching however does.
- Spirit led dance therapy DOES NOT loose you from bondage. Jesus Christ and repentance of sin does.
- Spirit led dance therapy DOES NOT restore broken hearts. Jesus Christ and obedience to His commandments does.
- Dance therapy is actually a type of psychotherapy
- Spirit Led Dance Therapy is just another type of meditative practice and falls under the category of ‘Healing Arts’ within the New Age religion.
- New Age dance therapy uses dance, movement and playing to inspire the body, mind and spirit for a greater sense of wholeness, harmony, and freedom.
- This Dance Meditation engages that creative source (your inner god) supposedly inherent in all of us thereby making each session a magical experience as you connect with a higher energy bigger than yourself ; note Delightfully Divine Woman Ministries say that you, become “One with THE ONE“.
- “This understanding brings us to the most controversial concept of the New Age philosophy: the belief that God lies within, and therefore we are each part of God.” —Shirely Maclaine, Going Within, London: Bantam Books, 1994, p. 100
- New Age Dance Therapy DOES NOT help you find joy, self-acceptance, etc. It is Jesus Christ who is the One who provides ALL these things.
- God DOES NOT work in ones heart via music. ONLY first believing in Jesus Christ and through repentance of sin can God work in ones heart.
- Dancing to different rhythms especially with the purpose of Awakening ones self is actually activating the different Chakras in the body. (Read: 7 Colours of the Rainbow and the 7 Chakras – How the Chakras/Tree of Life have infiltrated Christianity)
- The New Age Tree of Life vs Biblical Tree of Life: Tree of Life – Meditation vs Prayer
- Spirit Led Dance Therapy is just another type of meditative practice and falls under the category of ‘Healing Arts’ within the New Age religion.
The Bible clearly tells us that mankind’s problems DO NOT stem from their ignorance that they are gods but rather that we all have a sinful nature (Romans 3:23). Human beings are not gods. God and humanity stand realms apart in nature and attributes.
But many people will say, but the bible says in John 10:34 “Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”‘?
Let me explain:
Jesus was in dialogue with the Jews of His day and quoting from the Old Testament Psalms, saying: “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”‘? The Jews wanted to stone Jesus for calling God His Father and making Himself equal with God. So Jesus quotes Pslam 82 to them to show the distinction between himself and those in Pslam 82 who were called ‘gods’. Pslam 82 was written AGAINST certain unjust rulers in Israel’s history. Men of high distinction (Judges/Rulers) were almost seen as gods because of the power they wielded over the nation. The problem is these men were UNJUST. Verse 82:2 says: “How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? and verses 6-7 say, 6 “I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.” 7 But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.” So these rulers are not gods, they were given this name by mere men, but were they still children of God? Yes. But they will die like everyone else. So the point Jesus was making was that if unjust rulers can be called gods (by men), how can the Jews who wanted to stone Him object to Him saying that he was the Son of God?
Can you see how easily scripture gets twisted and the next minute you have women running around teaching New Age teachings under the banner of Christianity.
Beware! Delightfully Divine Woman Ministries promote the following books:
- Battlefield of the Mind – Joyce Meyer (See article on Joyce Meyer: Joyce Meyer is a Little God With a Big Christ Consciousness and Joyce Meyer – “Look at Her Fruit”)
- Heaven is So Real – Choo Thomas (See article on Choo Thomas: Choo Thomas – Heaven is so Real – Is it Really?)
- The Shack – William P Young (Please read: THE SHACK – William Paul Young (Part 1) and THE SHACK – William Paul Young (Part 2)
- A Message of Faith – Retha McPherson (Please read: Retha McPherson’s Message from Another God – (Part 1) and Retha McPherson’s Message from Another God – (Part 2))
- The Jesus I never Knew – Philip Yancey (See article: Philip Yancey supports homosexuality – Turning the grace of God into lasciviousness)
Philip Yancey on Unity Between All Religions says; “Perhaps our day calls for a new kind of ecumenical movement: not of doctrine, nor even of religious unity, but one that builds on what Jews, Christians, and Muslims hold in common…. Indeed, Jews, Christians, and Muslims have much in common.” — http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2004/011/18.120.html
On the following webpage it appears Luzunne is receiving extra biblical revelation from another source. A spirit called ‘Wisdom’ says:
“Yes daughter, I am wisdom. Come to Me and seek Me frequently. I will teach you.”
The Holy Spirit of the Bible DOES NOT speak to Christians like this. This is completely demonic.
Again this is what ‘Wisdom’ had to say to Luzanne:
“Daughter, I remind you again today to remain in the flow of My Spirit. Remain in My stream of Living Water.
Allow yourself to float in the gentle stream of life.
Moses was just a baby boy floating down My River of Grace, and the gentle flow of My stream took him to ultimate purpose and destiny.
Moses remained faithful and obedient to my instruction almost until the end. He became weary and impatient. He denied divine destiny & instruction.
He chose to follow self. I had to withdrew my hand of blessing and reward.” [Emphasis added]
‘Wisdom’ (another name for her is goddess Sophia) is not very wise and a downright demonic liar because no where in the Bible do I find that Moses denied God in any way and no where did God remove His hand from him. Once again, just the slight twisting of scripture; Moses never entered the promise land, but he most certainly entered Heaven.
This is what the Bible says:
The appearance of Moses and Elijah when Jesus Christ is Transfigured
Matthew 17:1-4
1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Right…
Now I do not know if Luxanne and Melinda are ignorant too what they are doing, or they know fully well what they are doing by pushing this New Age rubbish onto unsuspecting people. We will find out soon enough. They have 2 choices, carry on in error or learn the Gospel truth and stop leading others astray – and possibly change their little ministry into something truly special for God.
In the mean time it is my duty to warn women and children out there as to what this New Age ministry is all about.
Notes and Updates:
25 Jan 2011 – It would appear after all the warnings, DDWM is still continuing in error with even more conferences.
This is absolutely horrible!
This is the same day that Rick Warren is offering his Decade of Destiny health charade that can be viewed worldwide with his 4 New Age/occult promoting guru doctors.
listen, I just dont understand what is the point of calling everyone occult or new age or what ever. You are right when you point out Bible verses and try to teach people, fine, but not everything is occult or new age or devil worship. What is the type of Christianity that you believe in, yes I understand, Biblical, that fine, me too.. I dont have a problem with getting ladies together and doing fellowhip, they needed. we are living in a really rough world, theres so much negativity going on. I am sorry, but i think that articles should be presented responsibly and with love and understanding.
BL
Oh yes. I must get that out. Thank you for the reminder!! 😉
Hi Deborah
You do show a lot of love in your comments (to Hector) & in your written literature……NOT!
You carry a lot of hatred in your heart & by being rude to a person is not the Godly way!
God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit = LOVE
Who are we to judge as God is the only one who will Judge us One Day.
MH
Monique
Let me guess, you are into New Age teaching as well. And no Monique, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit does not = LOVE. This is classic New Age babble. Loving your Neighbour is making SURE they know the GOSPEL TRUTH at all times. Hating your neighbour is doing what you are doing – accepting false teaching and spreading it to your neighbours.
And I have every right to judge Monique, the bible tells us too. And NO He wont judge me one day, only those who are NOT SAVED land up there. So, seeing that you have just stated that you are not saved, I recommend you read this wonderful article on the SAVING GRACE of Jesus Christ
Now I am sure that Luzanne and Melinda have sent out an email to their friends to help support them. The thing is Monique, you are doing much harm by allowing this to continue. If you yourself do not know the bible, make it a point to find out the truth before you speak. God holds the blood of others on your hands.
Monique, you have a false concept of what true biblical love is.
True love exposes error so others will not get hurt or misled. True love presents the uncompromised Gospel that saves the lost from an eternity in hell. Yes, God so LOVED the world, but He is also a God of holiness. There is NO holiness in this conference and God views such teachings as tools of Satan and His Word. So should we!!
If you don’t like Deborah’s research, please do your own and find the truth for yourself. Are you motivated or willing to do the labor required?
Hi Deborah
I have read the info of this ministry , and was one of the first perhaps to “assist” them by asking to rectify their contents because people make mistakes and perhaps do not discern about many other bondages . I would also ask the question of how they came too these choices and forming this ministry . Are they indirectly under the covering of a certain church or small “unknown” ministry .We are going to be held accountable ….the bands , the leaders , the beauty queens ….. all and if we do not prepare well and surround ourselves with the truth in Spirit …the wrath of God will be upon us . I have scripture to read for all ….1 Tim 6:1-5 .. shower of blessings and as always the imense Grace of our Lord . Anton
I am saddened by this article. I would like to believe that you constantly seek guidance and pray for a spirit of discernment before publishing any articles that could have a negative impact on people or ministries who serve God sincerely and work in His kingdom according to His calling and purpose.
Luzanne, Melinda (and other), we can rest in the assurance that if we do live obediently according to the Word and will of God, the war (spiritual) belongs to Him. And if He is for us, who can be against us? No one can stop what God has set out to accomplish. He is the great I AM!
I certainly worship the only living God, Elohim, who loves us unconditionally and Who will comfort and restore the brokenhearted.
Rom 8:28
I pray for all – the publisher/writer of this article as well as the individuals involved. I pray that His love and grace will cover all!
Dear Deborah,
Thank you for your concern, but we at DDWM really are not into any New Age things. We were somewhat surprised at this accusation, because your assumptions are all just that, assumptions, made with a critical spirit.
You do not know our hearts, but God does. You should first talk to people (as the Bible says, speak face-to-face first, before you go to others), clarify what we understand certain terms/words mean, before you hurt someone with words. You base your opinions on little bits and pieces and you do not look at it as a whole.
We truly believe in Christ Jesus and everything we do is to help women find new life in Christ. Yes, through repentance, faith and grace. Our prayer and thanksgiving morning is for free, not to catch anyone, but to bless the people who want to come. Is it so hard for you to believe that some ministries are truly based on a true and living love for God? If we meditate, we do it in the way David did in the Psalms, focusing on God, definitely not on ‘nothing’ or on ‘our inner selves’ and definitely not ‘clearing our minds’. That is dangerous territory, we agree with you on that. David also danced before God! And music does touch hearts and can definitely be used to bring people closer to God. Why would the Bible instruct us to praise God? Because it lifts the spirit of heaviness… and this my friend, sounds like bondage to me.
Moses did not enter the promised land (and nobody said he went to hell). Meditation/soaking, as we explain it and do it, is pondering on Scriptures, on what God has done for us or on the attributes of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit… any of the women who have been to one of our events can testify to this and tell you that it is our deepest desire to lift the Name of Jesus up, to praise HIM… If you read the entire invitation, you would see that we praise and give thanks TO GOD and nothing else… Please read our statement of faith.
The name Delightfully (full of delight, joy and peace) Divine (with God in our hearts, with God as our Heavenly FATHER, adoptive daughters of the King, NOT us being gods at all) Women (plain, humble, thankful women) Ministry (serving)
One with THE ONE – does not mean we are all gods, it means that because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are yet again one with Him:
John 17: 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Thank You! I hope this clarifies everything. If not, please let God be our Judge, not you. Let the testing fire burn away whatever is not of Him, because, contrary to what you believe, we only want to serve God with our lives, in Spirit and in truth… and the mandate He has given us, is women.
Peace to You!
The Delightfully Divine Women Ministry Team
Elaine
You can fool the masses my dear but you can’t fool discerning Christians. A statement of faith means nothing. Many ministries, even well to-do ones like Joyce Meyer have great statements of faith, but they believe in Metaphysics – that FAITH is an actual force, and if what you speak will comes to pass, She also believes in the little god concept. This is occult.
di·vine (d-vn)
a. Having the nature of or being a deity.
b. God or a deity, godlike
c. Of, relating to, emanating from, or being the expression of a deity
d. Being in the service or worship of a deity; sacred.
e. Superhuman; godlike.
Why do you have the book The Shack as reading material? This book is totally and utterly New Age
Why do you support Joyce Meyer who teachers exactly what you do, that you are a little god
Why do you have the book by Choo Thomas which is New Age?
Why do you have the book by Retha McPherson – who’s son communicates with a demonic spirit?
>> If we meditate, we do it in the way David did in the Psalms, focusing on God
Explain to me in detail how David did it?
Deborah
Here is the fact … they are beating about the bush , They have promoted the book and they recommend the book ” The Shack ” apparently a beautiful story .. but below the surface its sinster and sutle evil …. i will send you a review … please use it > “om die girls se koppe skoon te kry ” The book is defiled !! finnish en klaar
God used many many people in the Bible to bring change, deliverance, etc to His people. I can’t think of anyone who did it perfect! Moses, David, Abraham and other… all failed in some area. But God finished through them what He set out to do.
We will stand before God and He will search our hearts and test our works. Whatever is not perfect, through His grace and our willingness to step out into the ‘wilderness’… He still works through us.
We will never be perfect. We can only be sincere and constantly be in the Word of God and be guided by His Holy Spirit to what He asks of us.
People have come to know the living Christ through many not-so-perfect-people. At leaste we are stepping out in faith in God and trusting in HIS works. We are doers of the Word and not only listeners.
It’s all about winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Let us focus on that and keep our eyes on Jesus Christ.
God bless you.

>> God used many many people in the Bible to bring change, deliverance, etc to His people. I can’t think of anyone who did it perfect! Moses, David, Abraham and other… all failed in some area. But God finished through them what He set out to do.
EXCUSE ME?? You classify yourself in the same line as Moses, David and Abraham? I think not. These men were God fearing and NEVER PREACHED FALSE TEACHING. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE to failing in certain areas of one’s life than FOLLOWING FALSE TEACHING and TEACHING IT TO OTHERS.
>> We will never be perfect. We can only be sincere and constantly be in the Word of God and be guided by His Holy Spirit to what He asks of us.
No we will never be perfect, but OUR DOCTRINE AND WHAT WE PREACH SHOULD BE.
Sincerity is great, but it means nothing if you are leading people astray.
>> It’s all about winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
You are not doing that. You THINK you are, but you are not. You preach a FALSE GOSPEL and luring people away to another kingdom.
Anton
Beating about the bush is an understatement.
I will post it asap.
My dear friend… I am only accountable before God. I do not have to defend myself. Therefore I bless you and trust in God and Him alone. I know Him, love Him, obey Him and know the voice of my Shepherd. If I’m wrong, He will convice me in LOVE. Keep well and God bless.
TB
So what you are saying is that YOU know 100% you are on the right track and that everything I have shown you, INCLUDING the links to those BOOKS you promote, everything is fine. Did you read the articles on THE SHACK and CHOO THOMAS? and Joyce Meyer?
>> I know Him, love Him, obey Him and know the voice of my Shepherd.
Don’t you mean ‘Wisdom’? Because that’s who Luzunne hears from.
>> If I’m wrong, He will convice me in LOVE.
You are being TOLD THE TRUTH right now TB and you are rejecting it. Sometimes the TRUTH hurts, so what might seem like nastiness to you is not nastiness, but caring from OTHER CONCERNED PARTIES over YOUR SOUL.
I would like to know from you, Deborah, on who appointed you to be the judge of other people
&
Anton, who made you the policeman for others beliefs?
Sorry… but you are assuming I am part of DDWM. I am not.
Please don’t worry about my soul – I’m saved and ready for my Saviour.
TB
Well if you are not part of DDWN then why on earth are you speaking on their behalf?
Monique
>> I would like to know from you, Deborah, on who appointed you to be the judge of other people
Let the BIBLE answer your question.
As Christians We Must Judge Righteously
As Christians we do not judge a person’s life, i.e., sin, because we are all sinners (Matt 7:1)., we judge righteously according to the Word of God. The Bible commands us to judge fellow Christians teachings and their fruit. Those in the church we are to judge according to the Word of God. Those outside of the church we show them the error of their ways, preach the gospel to them and then leave them in God’s hands. We are also commanded to judge/test their teachings/doctrine to make sure it is correct and that it ties up with scripture.
There are many verses in the bible where we are told to JUDGE/TEST:
———–
1 Thessalonians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)
21But test and prove all things [until you can recognize] what is good; [to that] hold fast.
———–
Matthew 7:15-20 (Amplified Bible)
15Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.
16You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit.
18A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear [excellent fruit [worthy of admiration].
19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
———–
1 Corinthians 5:12-13 (Amplified Bible)
12What [business] of mine is it and what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside [the church] upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment [passing censuring sentence on them as the facts require]?
13God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church].
———–
1 Corinthians 14:29 (Amplified Bible)
29 So let two or three prophets speak [those inspired to preach or teach], while the rest pay attention and weigh and discern what is said.
———–
John 7:24 (Amplified Bible)
24Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously.
———–
Titus 1:9-16 (Amplified Bible)
9He must hold fast to the sure and trustworthy Word of God as he was taught it, so that he may be able both to give stimulating instruction and encouragement in sound (wholesome) doctrine and to refute and convict those who contradict and oppose it [showing the wayward their error].
10For there are many disorderly and unruly men who are idle (vain, empty) and misleading talkers and self-deceivers and deceivers of others. [This is true] especially of those of the circumcision party [who have come over from Judaism].
11Their mouths must be stopped, for they are mentally distressing and subverting whole families by teaching what they ought not to teach, for the purpose of getting base advantage and disreputable gain.
12One of their [very] number, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, hurtful beasts, idle and lazy gluttons.
13And this account of them is [really] true. Because it is [true], rebuke them sharply [deal sternly, even severely with them], so that they may be sound in the faith and free from error,
14[And may show their soundness by] ceasing to give attention to Jewish myths and fables or to rules [laid down] by [mere] men who reject and turn their backs on the Truth.
15To the pure [in heart and conscience] all things are pure, but to the defiled and corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are defiled and polluted.
16They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.
———–
1 John 4 (Amplified Bible)
1BELOVED, DO not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
Monique
Mark Them Which Cause Division
Romans 16:17-18 (King James Version)
17Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
OK
Let’s agree to disagree.
You see, I see the glass half full & you see it half empty.
Enjoy your blog & have a nice life.
I’m outa here, as we will never ever agree.
Monique
I never agree to disagree. Jesus is 100% Truth – 1 FULL GLASS. Not a glass half full or empty for that matter.
The half glass is a metaphor, but you are so hooked on bashing out what is in your mind that you are not open for even a simple example of a glass filled with water.
The emphasis was on you & me seeing the same glass, but from different angle’s.
Me = Half Full
You = Half Empty
Fact is that it is still half full.
So by never agreeing to disagree you are saying “My way or nothing”,
mmmmmm
Your life partner must realy have a tough time then.
Let’s hope you wake up one day……
Seeing that you have editorial control I dare you to post my comment.
Hey Deb’s
I’ll get too posting on that other thread still. Please forgive me as I’m still struggling to get rid of holiday laziness.. 😉
Anyway…
This is truly sad… people are so blind.. the god of this world is hitting home runs right of the bat here in the beginning of 2011.
You just KEEP – ON – SHINING the LIGHT of God on all these things my dear.
People see BUT DON’T perceive & hear BUT don’t listen..
Comments like these can make one quite speechless!!!
… 😉 (I’m praying with you for these people)
Monique Howley
Clearly something stepped on your attitude or nerve ..true christians don’t judge … we assist and help and show you what you have done wrong or what you have written .You cannot agree because the reason is the veil is before your eyes and you don’t see what is behind it ( Listen to the Paul Wilbur cd ) and as a police man …no no .. but as a watchman on the walls … Yes !!!! The problem with your ministry is any body saying anything against it is now judgemental … oh ! come on . Time to sluk that what you have experienced and perhaps danced and “renew” yourself.
just by saying “i am outa here blah blah shows me that the truth is hurting you and your dance therapy . and for the good of all… and perhaps everybody read the following crucial Bible scriptures > Hebrews 12: 12-17 / then very important > Ephesians 5: 8–13
Monique
I know it’s a metaphor. But I don’t do metaphors either. I preach the Gospel Truth. And YES, it’s the TRUTH or nothing. THE GOSPEL TRUTH MONIQUE – please do pay attention here. I am sorry to hear that you accept lies and error and leaven and who knows what else.
Maybe you should look into what you accept as truth Monique – the answers have been given to you on a silver platter – what more do you want? Some people have to search real hard to find the truth, here you have it laid out all nicely for you in point form. When will you wake up and realise THERE IS A HUGE problem with the teachings at DDWM including the books they promote. Did you read the reviews on The Shack yet?
When you have run out of things to say, there is no need to get personal.
Here is another excellent review of THE SHACK that explains in great detail how terrible this book is:
After perusing the DD Women site, it appears that these are lovely ladies – sorry to hear that Luzanne has contracted fibro, a very distressing malady. But sorry to say this is Christianity Lite, fluffy and frothy. This is not to judge hearts, it is to simply state the truth.
These lovely ladies have not done their homework and don’t see anything wrong with promoting Eldridge, Meyer and The Shack which is an ABOMINATION to God.
Deborah has served up a warning/alert and the pertinent parties can either receive or reject. But if they continue to offer sweets laced with arsenic they will not answer to Deborah, they will answer to the Lord for those who are damaged by it. Deborah’s hands will be clean.
If they would clean up their ministry it could be a powerful one, but as it is, it is compromised and God cannot bless such.
Keep up the good work Debs…as I remarked once…you are never going to be popular in this corrupted world where satan has his agents who are so deceptive that are even leading the some of the elect astray.Poison is being introduced to Christianity in so many different ways.
People like Monique are so very blind and cannot see…it is futile to argue with her because the argument is not only academic but is spiritual warefare. She needs our prayers…she is obviously not saved and this is our prayer that God will remove the scales from her eyes.
Burning Lamp and Michael , thanx for your feedback and mails …you have hit it on the nail … we as christians should be as sharp as blades, to be watchmen for all,to concern .. because we serve our Lord to serve the lost.To help and pray.Nothing goes unseen by the Father on earth or in heaven.
“Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you;
I will uphold you with my righteousness right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 this was my word for today.
Seems Debs that you are under attack for speaking the truth. Keep up your good work. I also took flack for being anti Ms Meyer. She was in SA a while back and someone invited me to go. When i explained my reasons for not wanting to i got many of the above comments thrown at me. There is one God who gave His beloved Son to die for my Salvation. He gave me a book the Bible which tells me everything i need to know i do not need the word according to Joyce…or whoever. The comment which cracked me up was ‘ but joyce tells it like it is” perhaphs this is what is wrong in our churches today. When did you last hear a pastor preach about hell and all those lost souls who are going there, about true repentance etc. The God of the bible tells it like it is no grey areas. enjoy your day!
Can this be the same TB that posted on another thread that he/she believes in 100% truth? If so, how does TB defend this DDW promotion of false teaching? Methinks TB speaks out of both sides of the mouth or is confused. All is not sweetness and light – there is evil lurking and it needs to be exposed for the sake of those who may be harmed by it. And trust me, people WILL be harmed by The Shack and other materials promoted.
Anton asks a good question: Are these women overseen by a pastor or men in leadership? Yes, their ministry is to women, but do they seek advice from any kind of pastoral leadership? Do they have the support of their husbands? Valid questions.
I hope they come back and dialogue – Elaine’s response was not adequate and she is mainly the webmaster and not in a teaching position.
BL
That is the same TB. That is why I keep asking her if she still thinks I speak hatefully. Hmmm.
The real scary issue here is that not the ministry , not Luzanne Nel or Melinda du Plessis, not their husbands , not their pastors or leaders or dominees had the nerve to tackle this very issue about the character and image of their so called healing/ divine issues . I have a feeling that they do not have the knowledge about the real truth and spiritual dealings , they are not guided by their (1) husbands and their pastors. i can go so far to say that if this is the type of “covering” thay have then there are other very worring and serious factors in their community that is very untrustfull .. But they most probably are spoon fed, and believe every Sunday that thay are the “chosen” group … i don’t want to sound very critical but they should stand up for the Spirit of Truth or the spirit of error.
one has heard the saying >> you are either pregnant or not you cannot be 80 % preggies …. love to all and also to those who are struggling with the truth … :-)))
Ironic how the knuckle dusters come out the moment the Sword strikes?
Debs, I am concerned about Retah’s (or is it Retha) connections with Sid Roth… And Sid’s other connections.
Robbie , can you give us some info on this Sid Roth ???? anton
Hi Anton.
Sid Roth has endorsed the Lakeland revival, calling it one of the greatest moves of God’s spirit in a hundred years. He says that Todd Bentley’s meetings are pregnant with the presence of God.
He is also Messianic Jew
Here is a “prophecy Tod Bentley gave regarding Sid…
“The Lord is speaking to me (the Angel). He just spoke to me about Sid Roth….I just heard the Lord interrupt me and tell me that this anointing is gonna begin to break out in your ministry on the television and something over the airwaves, I mean the radio again. God’s going to anoint you in a whole new way and this miracle anointing is going to go around the world if you will pray for the sick. Bam! It will be released in a mighty way.”
Anton.
Here is an interview between “Supernatural Sid Roth” and “Tattoo Todd Bentley”.
Hope you can open this link?

And then Retha’s interview with Sid Roth.

Sid Roth is sometimes on the Elijah list. The Elijah list keeps all the “apostles” and “prophets” in touch with one another. It regularly puts out false prophecies. I subscribe to it just to keep tabs on the New Apostolic Reformation. I am glad that i do because I saw one of the local “apostles” from my area on there.
Sid Roth is way off course as far as being biblical goes. I think that he would endorse anything “supernatural” !lol

This is not the first time , but every time there is a speech or teaching …Miss South Africa always comes up ..i find that nogal very proud and a status factor ????? thanx
Anton
Oh YES OF COURSE. I am in the process of writing an article on her and her son. This is a demonic situation through and through. Forget about the status factor, there is a lot more to this story.
Anton…
coming up I am sure. Die tannie krap nog 🙂

Oh you ‘re so clever! Thanks Deborah.
I am thinking.. The hate crime bill was passed in US of A last year October.
Wonder how much time true Christians have left to speak their minds freely here in the RS of A?
Robbie
I dread to think. Let’s hope long enough!

>> Thank God I am free and able to discern between the true message of Christianity, and the garbage spewed out here as being Bible based truths.
You kidding right? So meditation is biblical? Hmmm. Gee and all this time I thought it was New Age.
As I was reading this discussion, which I found rather painful, I had to ask myself a few questions:
1.Are we as quick to pray (for all these people who we bind with our unloving words) as we are to judge? Am I? As I read this, I was also judged before I loved, so this is directed at me as much as at any of you.
2. Are we as quick to bless others as we are point to their mistakes?
3. Do we make a habit of communicating these kinds of thoughts and concerns to the people we have them about? Is not that what the Bible calls us to do? Is this the spirit 2 Tim 1:7 speaks of – to slander in public rather than correct in private first?
In her book “A message of Hope”, Retah calls on Christians to forgive, set free and bless even those who have wronged them. She also tells readers to judge her teaching against the Word and the testimony of the Holy Spirit.
Math 7:1 “Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.”
Rom 14: 11- 13 “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.”
May the Lord bless you with a spirit of power and love and a sound mind. May the lord use you boldly to further his love.
Hanelie
One of the most misused verses in the Bible is, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” (Matthew 7:1). Every Scripture verse should be read in its context, if we are to properly understand the true meaning. In vs.2-5 of this same chapter it is evident that v.1 is referring to hypocritical judgment.
A brother who has a beam in his own eye should not be judging the brother who may have a mote in his eye. The lesson is plain, you cannot judge another for his sin if you are guilty of the same sin.
Those who cling to “Judge not, that ye be not judged,” to condemn those who expose error should read the entire chapter. Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing…” (v.15).
How can we know false prophets unless we judge them by the Word of God? If we know the false prophets, how can we fail to warn the sheep of these “ravening wolves?” All through the Bible we find proof that they should be identified and exposed.
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit” (vs.16,17). Did the Lord mean that we could not judge the tree (person), by the fruit of their life and doctrine? Certainly not, for you cannot know without judging.
All judgment should be on the basis of Bible teaching, not according to whims or prejudices.
“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” (John 7:24). Here our Lord commands that we are to “judge righteous judgment,” which is judgment based upon the Word of God.
Robbie,
Robbie wrote:
I have never read this to apply only to those guilty of the same sin. Instead, I have read it to be similar to the case of John 8. Interesting.
I agree that we should judge what we see around us with the help of the Bible and the Holy Spirit. It is the condeming of people with words like “idiot” and “sucker” that bugs me. Based on that, what are the fruits (Mat 7: 16,17) displayed here? Should I judge this blog as demonic because it does not display the fruit mentioned in Gal 5:22? Surely not.
hanelie
There you go again, please tell me where I or anyone who is a GENUINE Christian on this site has called anyone a sucker or an idiot for that matter. Are you looking for trouble or what? You are lying, stop it. What FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is that! lying! If you judge this blog to be demonic – go ahead, that’s your opinion, no one elses – thank goodness.
Dear Deborah,
I’ve spent many years of my life angry. Through the soft whispers of the Holy Spirit, I knew my anger and impatience with those around me was wrong. Eventually, as I persisted in my own fleshly ways, I stopped hearing the voice of God. Not because He stopped talking, but because I had allowed anger to become un-forgiveness and bitterness. In time, my anger and impatience grew to the point where I would react to people even before I had time to think about it. Last year, God opened my eyes to this through the Holy Spirit and the love of his children. Through my un-repented anger and un-forgiveness, I had put a barrier between me and Jesus and I had allowed Satan a foothold in my life. Thankfully and mercifully, God did not give up on me. Not because I deserved it, but because of His nature, which is love (even for the unlovable ones).
Over the past few months, He has been weeding the roots of anger and bitterness from my soul, piece by piece. I had to learn to submit every thought to Christ. To choose love, daily. It is an amazing process, painful at times, but the truth has set me free and I have been delivered from many destructive habits. Through this process, God has repeatedly led me to scripture and teaching about love and forgiveness (amongst others). I have learned that Christians are nothing like the world. The world preaches revenge and anger. Jesus teaches love and forgiveness. It is so different to the world that is almost incomprehensible. I have to choose stand firm against Satan when he tries to work it back into my life every day. I loved a good “fight”. I no longer do, but it is a daily process of obedience.
I have prayed for months that God would give me something of Jesus’ love, of His heart. That He would bless me with the ability to see others as He does. This Sunday, I experienced that for the first time. It was an unexpectedly humbling moment. Last night, as I was figuring out how to respond to your posts (how to defend myself, because that is the old, fleshly me), God granted me His truly amazing grace once again – removing from my heart the desire to react, to prove you wrong. It didn’t happen all at once. I am not this amazing person who is above such worldly things. Quite the opposite. I was working actively on collecting evidence in my defence when He closed one door after another. And, finally, when I stopped to listen, He showed me my own heart and then His.
So, where I have hurt you through foolishly quoting words that I do not even know who they belonged to (because I never followed the links they came in), please forgive me. Deborah, what I felt, when I finally listened last night, was your hurt. I have seen the way people react on this board. We will be hurt by the world, because they do not understand. We should not hurt each other though. God reiterated that this morning when He led me to 1 Corinthians 3. About 20 days ago, I started reading the Bible from Romans, a chapter a day. God already knew then that I would need to read 1 Cor 3 today (not to correct you, but because He would need to correct me through it) before I started this study. Isn’t that amazing?
Deborah, I pray that God would continue His work in each of us, because none of us are finished yet – just set aside. I pray that He will heal your hurt and grant you His eyes and heart, because in His eyes you (and everyone else on this blog) are special.
hanelies
Thank you hamelie, you are a wonderful lady, and yes please do understand that there are countless conversations on this blog that go on and on (across articles) that can and will be misconstrued. This I do understand and that is what I was trying to tell you, but it’s difficult I know.
You know, to be honest, every-time I get a negative comment it does not hurt me anymore (it used to hurt me), now it just wears me down. But what can we expect, did the bible not say we will be hated because we love Jesus? And in the end times does it not say that the Man of Lawlessness will wear down the saints? We live in a world right now that is completely and utterly devoid of any Christianity, well let’s say 5% are really Christian. That’s a staggeringly low figure. So when I log onto this blog and I check the comments I brace myself for what I am to read, I know it’s not going to be nice. And when I read nice comments I rejoice and thank Jesus for HIS MARVELOUS WORK (not mine). Why don’t I close the comments section? For the simple reason that people (unbeknown the themselves) actually help me expose false teaching through their comments and help me do their own dirty work. So I take the heat. And isn’t it amazing how I am always the bad one lol, me, me, me. Over 2400 people have commented on this blog against 1 person, me. I think the odds are a bit against me don’t you think? You see everyone only thinks they are they only person commenting on this blog, no one else, so it’s them against me. 1 on 1, but it’s not. You may as well throw me into a stadium full of people and let them all curse me at once.
But I will carry on regardless, HAH! Because I STAND FOR THE TRUTH. And standing means everyone else is usually sitting, so I am sticking out like a sore thumb. Standing also meanings that I am going against the grain of society and that will make people unhappy, it makes people even more unhappier because I am preaching the gospel truth and that cuts through them like a double edged sword.
Dear Deborah, I have been reading some of the articles and responses on the site and not even sure if i am on the right page to be asking questions but, if you could bear with me – it will be great. For a while now i have been feeling like a loose wheel and am not able to find a ‘church’ where i feel i belong. Ministers preaching nonsense and everything in me has to stop me from standing up in the middle of the sermon and asking him how he can justify saying what he does, but I guess I am a coward. Then I go to another church and I don’t belong, it could be something seemingly insignifcant that the Minister says “come Holy Spirty, come and be with us” and i just want to leave, because we came into the church with the Holy Spirit and so I start thinking there is something wrong with me. Why is church not like it is meant to be. Where everyone brings something, be it a song, a message, etc but in stead we have one person who works himself to a stand still and eventually burns out or turns to his one philosophies, etc. Am I going mad? How do i find out where I belong?
Hester
Oh my dear, you are not mad, we are in the last days, the end times, and the current church is in a state of apostasy as spoken of in the bible. You are (we are) the remnant, those who are removing ourselves from the filthy false doctrines being taught in these churches. There is no Holy Spirit in these churches, only a false spirit. They call down FIRE and tell you that is the Holy Spirit when it is not, it is demonic. They preach utter rubbish and expect you to believe it (most do). The chances of you finding a church that preaches the truth and nothing but the truth is slim. There are a few and by a few I mean a drop in the ocean. You BELONG to the BODY of CHRIST – it can’t be seen – it’s not a building. Many genuine Christians these days are teaching themselves with the guidance of the Holy Spirit using the greatest Library on earth; the internet and are growing in their spiritual lives in leaps and bounds. The spirit of the anti-Christ is strong as the world turns against Christianity and genuine Christians – you can’t let your guard down for a second. You need to be strong and strand strong in these perilous times we live in. Please read more of my website to understand more of what is going on in the church today.
Thanks so much for the response. Sjo, it is painful to say the least. I have been reading (just about all day) and will keep on reading, learning, watching and praying. Judging from some of the comments on some of your articles, I also pray that you will be strengthened and not get tired in your pursuit of truth as I am sure it must be very draining. God Bless.
Thank you Hester!
Have you posted something on Retha McPherson yet?
I’m about to puke over the stuff about these guys. Ever wondered why CHRIS OYAKHILOME is home and dry in SA? The EFCC(Nigeria’s anticorruption body) has made Naija hot for him to stay! As for TB JOSHUA and as we say here in Nigeria, is it now you guys know who he is? An investigative reporter(died 3 years ago) blew the lid off him ten/nine years back and LOST his job! Two pastors, Chris Okotie and Tunde Bakare, were verbally ROASTED for pointing out Oyakhilome’s dubious spiritual antecedents as far back as 7 years ago. As for RB, I now see why WF Kumuyi FORBADE church members from buying books by RB and C. Peter Wagner over 20 years ago. Did anyone listen? unfortunately, I didn’t.*shamefaced grin*
Hi Debs…
This is growing (deceptive ministries)despite all the warnings. Like warts, you can’t seem to get rid of them.
You got something on Divine Love Ministries? The have an online bible school…
I am lookin’!
Robbie
You cant put an evil thing down unfortunately in the last days, but you can help open the eyes of a few who read the article.
Deborah, It seems a lot of people incorrectly perceive “Love” to be all sweet, non confrontational communication. But Jesus turned tables over to make his point. My parents punished me when I was wrong, even if I was not aware of the rules. Those who put themselves in a “teaching/leadership” position of the sheep need to understand that this position carries a tremendous responsibility and the obligation to strictly adhere to the biblical word. If they are going to imply in any way that they are leading “sheep”, a STERN word and redirection IS called for by those who have the outstanding discernment skills. Discerning false teaching is a true gift and those truly following Jesus Christ will appreciate the redirect. Twisting God’s word is no joke and one small change can lead countless people into the pit of hell. We are all so very blessed to have you on the “front lines” studying, training, and rightly dividing the bible. It is EXTREMELY time-consuming to do this work and you selflessly take the fight on every day for HIS glory, certainly not for your own.
Thank you so very much, you are appreciated and loved by this mom!
To Monique re: glasses half empty….a glass half full of truth is a glass FULL of a whole LIE. If an airplane was falling out of the sky and you could save everyone on board by sternly screaming at them to put on a parachute….wouldn’t that be a very loving thing to do? Some how sweetly reasoning with them will lose most people in the plane.
Well, the bible state numerous times that women are submissive and beneath men. do you deny that? Do you enjoy being the second to your male counterpart?
momlovesu
Thanks mom!
What makes me happy is when I know I am reaching people – that puts a big smile on my face 🙂
You’re certainly reaching me, Deborah!
And, I have to say, you occasionally put a smile on my face.
I was just reading the above comments and the accusations against you. It’s ironical that people tell you not to judge while they are judging you. More ironically: you’re judgment is soundly biblical and theirs is anything but!
You handle the word of Truth well.
I wonder what these people think of Christ’s categorical statements.
We only have to think of how he called the Pharisees “Whited sepulchres–rotten–full of dead men’s bones.” He claimed to be “the Way the Truth and the Life” and that “no man can come to the Father but by ME.”
I mean who did He think He was!?
Well, He Himself makes that very clear and plain: “My Father and I are one.”
So is He saying Buddha, Mohammad, popes, gurus and all these spiritual New Age nice, kind, loving guys have nothing to offer?
Yes He is.
Well, if that’s so–from an inclusive liberal viewpoint–this guy was some kind of fascist.
How harsh and unkind He was!
As for the Apostle Paul, tearing a strip off Peter in front of everyone! I mean where’s the kindness there?
Please pardon my sarcasm. But that’s actually what your detractors are doing with you: accusing you of harshness and unkindness.
The facts you state are unpalatable for many but they are biblical facts nevertheless. So your detractors remind me of someone who sees 1+1 equaling 2 as unpalatable. Even so 1+1 does equal 2 and it always has done since God created things; and it always will do–this side of eternity anyway. If people find that unpalatable they are in trouble when it comes to anything mathematical.
The Bible facts are the same in a sense:
If people refuse to conform to the laws of mathematics they will end up confused and wrong. It’s the same with the Word of God. If we do not conform to the teachings of the Bible we will end up confused and wrong but in a way that is detrimental to us eternally.
You are right to refuse any kind of false doctrine.
As the Apostle Paul warns, a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Leaven was symbolic of sin. It also applies to false doctrine. Some people don’t like to be warned of false doctrine. Yet Paul warns us (unlovingly to liberals, I guess) that “…the time will cme when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears” [2 Tim 4:3].
Over here in Britain we have a man called Nicky Gumbel who runs (or used to run) the Alpha Course. Nicky Gumbel stated that he tries never to be critical. Yet he doesn’t mind criticising certain Baptists who he finds unloving. That is, people who will contend for the faith once delivered–as Paul exhorts us to do. And Paul, note, tells us to CONTEND. (Which is exactly what you’re doing Deborah.) Contend means contend, it doesn’t mean, “You have your point and I have mine and we will agree to differ.” No, it means the opposite.
We cannot say to someone, “You believe 5+5 equals 10, well I believe it equals 11 so we’ll just agree to differ.”
If we were to say that to anyone they would think us insane or very stupid. And they’d be right. Yet people dare to do that with the infallible word of God. And these people who do so claim to be Christians. What does that do to unbelievers when they see that Christians don’t even believe God’s Word is infallible? Why then should they believe in it when Christians themselves dispute its accuracy?
People who dare to contend for the faith once delivered–that is, who try to be sound doctrinally–are now accused of being pharisaical.
Actually, the Pharisees were NOT sound doctrinally. The Lord castigated them for putting man’s traditions above the WORD OF GOD.
And, even so, the New Testament gives us examples of Pharisees who were saved and it was the Pharisee Gamaliel who warned the Sanhedrin against opposing the Jewish Christians. Also, it was Pharisees who took Paul’s side against the Saducees [Acts 27]. Interestingly enough, there is no mention in the New Testament of ANY Saducees–the “tolerant” ecumenics of their day–being saved.
Let us not forget that the Saducees were the ecumenics of that day. They would have been appalled to have been called paganistic but it’s what they actually were. They adopted bits of Greek and Roman philosophy into their thinking, something the Pharisees never did.
So we shouldn’t worry too much about modern-day Saducees calling us Pharisees because we contend for the faith once delivered.
I find your stance admirable because you know you will get flack but you are contending nevertheless. We are told that we will be hated and that the World loves its own. And it is Jesus Himself Who tells us! He warns us more than anything about deception. But the sad thing is, that would still be far above the heads of many professing Christians if they were flying in a plane three miles above the Atlantic.
Jesus warns us mostly about deception. And who will deceive us? Those who say I am Christ [Matt 24:5] will. Yet the word there in the original Greek is actually “annointed.” And many of these people today are claiming they are God’s annointed. We ought to remember too that Jesus said they will come in HIS Name, not in the name of Buddha, Mohammad, Krishna or any other false god. No, they will come in the Name of Christ and that is why we have to be extra vigilant.
So we have been warned. And Jesus Himself tells us we have been warned [Matt 24:25]. So we are really without excuse and it will be the same when we stand before Him. So it’s best we think on these things now and conform to what God’s Holy Word tells us. Whatever we put before God is our god.
Christians ought to be aware that we cannot take any beliefs or philosophies of this world–of which Satan is the god [2 Cor 4:4]–and try to merge them with God’s Word. It doesn’t work, not even by applying the very smallest amount.
A tiny drop of cyanide in a glass of water will still kill you. A tiny bit of Satan’s reasoning mixed in with ours can still kill us–eternally.
Thank you, Deborah, for contending for the one True cause that brings eternal life.
Thanks Martin, I do try, I do try 🙂
When this article was posted in 2011 it started an amazing journey for me. Now, 18 months later, I can only look back and thank God! It’s not been easy though… God knows, the knowledge I have gained has changed my life (and the course of our ministry). Praise God.
TB
“In the past 18 months have YOU journeyed from deception and New Age beliefs to the truth that is found in Jesus-Christ and His Word alone? Has this article helped you?”
If yes, I say thank you Lord, for there is more joy in Heaven for one sinner who repents than for 99 righteous who do not need repentance (I am paraphrasing the verse in Luke’s gospel)
I have two questions. Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. Has these practices of “dance” and New Age-ism occurred in the Christian church before and was rebuked? I see in my church and others a new thing called Praise Dancing…sort of ballet-like and with streamers. Second..why does New Age-ism target mostly women? Are women easier to influence because today we try convincing women they are “victimized” in everything they encounter?
Deborah,
I just found this blog, and read all the comments. I just wanted to tell you that I believe you are doing a great service. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I am still getting around to that… promise, written half of it, but of late I’ve had a few hickups that set me back…but I’m on a roll now, so hope to get it out sooner rather than later.
2 Samuel 6:14-23
New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. 17 So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. 18 And when David had finished offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts. 19 Then he distributed among all the people, among the whole multitude of Israel, both the women and the men, to everyone a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins. So all the people departed, everyone to his house.
20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”
21 So David said to Michal, “It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. 22 And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.”
23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death.

Psalm 149:1-9
Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. …

You can’t compare DANCE THERAPY to just plain dancing in the bible.
Deborah, I have stumbled across this sight while looking for a Retha Mcpherson video. I have been following them for some time, please share why you believe that they are not truly of Christ. I dont want to be decieved, but I can truly not see where you are coming from in relation to them. Thanks Beth

Oh shucks, you know, I have been so slack with regards to writings an article about Retha, I promise I will get an article out within the next 2 weeks.
Hi
I came across this site by chance and am shocked at the un christian like attitude you possess. alot of people go around calling themselves christians and even go to church every sunday but what lies in thier hearts is tuely scary. your actions and words are meant to be a testament to show God’s love and help turn others towards God, not away from Him. I believe its those actions , your good heart and your belief in the Lord Almighty will get you into heaven. Do not assume that because you go to church and call yourself a christian you will get in. the comments and article above display alot of hatred. Do not judge. that is for God to do. I pray that you have peace in your heart and soul and that God does indeed show you how to LOVE.
God Bless 🙂

That is the entire purpose of this article. Delightfully Deceptive Ministries are the church that hoodwinks people into thinking they are ‘Christian’ when they are not. How do we tell they are not? By the words they speak (gospel they preach). If it does not line up with scripture then there is something wrong.
>> your actions and words are meant to be a testament to show God’s love and help turn others towards God, not away from Him.
Now you are lying. There is nothing wrong with any comment under this article or on this blog, except to try warn people of impending doom who refuse to want to listen. Secondly, I do not turn anyone away from God, each and every person has free-will to make, only God can change their stony hearts, nothing I say, no matter how I say it will turn them to God.
Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”
Thirdly it’s the Holy Spirit who draws people to God and chastised people consciences after they have heard the truth being spoken to them on this blog, if they turn around and reject the message it’s not my fault, only their own.
John 6:44 ” No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
There is no special, mystical anointing of the Holy Spirit, but rather, the Holy Spirit calls men through the gospel; and it is the gospel that is the power to save. (Romans 1:16).
But many turn away.
>> I believe its those actions , your good heart and your belief in the Lord Almighty will get you into heaven.
1) No, repentance of your sin will get you into heaven Natasha not good works and the kindness of your heart. Millions of unbelievers show kindness in their actions and in their words but are going straight to hell.
Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”
2) Also you can’t get into heaven but through Jesus
John 14:6 (John 14:6) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
>> Do not assume that because you go to church and call yourself a christian you will get in. the comments and article above display alot of hatred.
Yes and for arguments sake I assume the same of you. You tell me not to judge while you judge me, isn’t that just so convenient of you.
Here are some articles that explain in the bible that God tells us we are to Judge righteously, not tolerate the wicked and mark those who preach a false gospel.
As Christians We Must Judge Righteously
Do Not Tolerate Wicked People
Mark Them Which Cause Division
>> I pray that you have peace in your heart and soul and that God does indeed show you how to LOVE.
I believe in the love of Jesus Christ as written in the Word of God, not the New Age love you want to express.
Natasha,
What is shocking is the lack of Biblical knowledge and specifically wisdom. The wisdom that follows true inspiration when searching the scriptures.
Read what Deborah proposed to you. I would really like to see your reply then.
Deborah, I just love the way you expose these false preachers. At the last ladies meeting at a renowned church I did not understand why the lady pastor would suddenly stop and start “prophesying” over some lady and then just predict some future happenings for her, much like a gypsy. I left early and got away!! Thanks for these early warnings, lots of ladies fall for this un biblical stuff. You don’t beat around the bush, hey?
Dear Ida
I just pray that more ladies see the poison they are being introduced too, before they accept it, once they accept it, it is going to ‘change their minds’ as they will be handing their souls over to Satan on a silver platter. And trying to break free from the demonic in the church today is very very difficult. You just have to read this page to see how Christians are suffering with serious demonic affliction all because they did not listen to God’s Word. But now they know the truth are are breaking free from all demonic affliction in their lives.
I don’t beat around the bush because it’s peoples eternities at stake.
Speaking up and warning = LOVE
