THE SHACK – William Paul Young (Part 2)

The Shack Book / MovieTHE SHACK – THE SUFFERING THEME

If you haven’t read “THE SHACK – William Paul Young (Part 1)” please do so here.

No other person on earth suffered as much as Jesus Christ when He was on earth. Are you going to say to Him. “ME TOO . . . ., Mr. Wise guy? We all endure some kind of suffering, pain, misery and various kinds of sorrows in this world. It is unavoidable, as the unpleasant saying goes. However, Scripture also says,

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. (1 Peter 4:15-16).

Despite Scripture’s warning that Christians should not suffer the things that are shameful, i.e. as a murderer, or as a thief, or as a busybody, Rob Bell (an Emergent Church protagonist par excellence) mentions those things that are indeed shameful in God’s sight, i.e. alcoholism, abuse, and divorce. Rob Bell’s view of sin echoes William P. Young’s statement, “You know, I don’t punish sin, sin is its own punishment,” that is, the suffering people endure due to alcoholism, abuse, divorce, etc. is per se the punishment for their wrongdoing, and their acknowledgement that others are suffering in the same way by saying to them, “Me too,” is per se their healing (a.k.a. redemption). It is nothing short of saying that purgatorial suffering is necessary for one’s cleansing and ultimate redemption. In Hinduism and Buddhism, it is said that Karma reduces and ultimately exhausts suffering which leads to rebirth or reincarnation (Samsara).

These things are not given to us as a burden like a backpack to refine and build us up spiritually on our so-called journey here on earth. They are sins we need to confess to God so that we may receive forgiveness and continue to live in the right relationship with Him. When Christians suffer, it should always be on behalf of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that lost sinners may be saved. The word for “witness” in the Bible is “martus” (martyr) because the people to whom we bear witness are often those who persecute us and some of them may even kill us. (1 Peter 4:12). This is the reason why Paul wrote:

I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them. (Galatians 4:11-17).

11 I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored [to the point of exhaustion] over you in vain.12 Believers, I beg of you, become as I am [free from the bondage of Jewish ritualism and ordinances], for I have become as you are [a Gentile]. You did me no wrong [when I first came to you; do not do it now]. 13 On the contrary, you know that it was because of a physical illness that I [remained and] preached the gospel to you the first time;14 and even though my physical condition was a trial to you, you did not regard it with contempt, or scorn and reject me; but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus Himself  15 What then has become of that sense of blessing and the joy that you once had [from your salvation and your relationship with Christ]? For I testify of you that, if possible, you would have torn out your own eyes and given them to me to replace mine]. 16 So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth? 17 These men [the Judaizers] eagerly seek you [to entrap you with honeyed words and attention, to win you over to their philosophy], not honorably [for their purpose is not honorable or worthy of consideration]. They want to isolate you [from us who oppose them] so that you will seek them. (Amplified Bible).

Please note the change of heart the Galatians underwent when Paul told them the truth and the Judaizers deceived them with their lies. Many years ago, when one of my own kin told me that she wanted to join a Charismatic Church, and I warned her to rather not, she said to me, “Oh, but they are so friendly and eager to make you feel at home. Their warm hugs and smiles are so contagious.” She refused to listen and had to learn the hard way that rebellion against the truth causes much pain and suffering. “Honeyed words and false affections” in most Charismatic and Pentecostal churches usually go hand in hand with the hiss of the serpent.

Instead of confessing their alcoholism, divorce or any other sin, they busy themselves with other peoples’ lives. They probe and pry into other peoples’ lives to find someone who may have the same kind of backpack they have allegedly been given (by whom?  – God?) to carry so that they may say to them, “Hey, me too . . .” In reality, they are looking for someone who has a similar backpack in order to give them some kind of solace and assurance that they are not so bad after all, for someone else out there is doing the same things they are doing.

In short, it is called “projecting yourself onto someone else to alleviate your own pain and suffering caused by your own sins.” Listen up, my dear friends. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and not someone else who experiences the same kind of pains you suffer due to your sins. He comforts you by telling you the truth, and the truth makes you feel uncomfortable about yourself and the knowledge of your final destination in hell if you do not repent. The Comforter wields a sword, a twoedged sword (Hebrews 4:12), that cuts deep into your soul to reveal to you the filth that separates you from an awesomely holy God. He does not teach you to say to others who have the same backpack (filth stacked up) in their souls, “ME TOO.” In fact, “Me too” will sit in hell for all eternity with “You too” if they do not repent of their “Me tooness” and “You-tooness.”

Nevertheless, I (and NOT Mr Wise guys, Rob Bell or Mr. william P Young) tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: (John 16:7-8).

If, as William Paul Young claims, Jesus was made sin for us without his Father having to punish Him for our sins on the cross, what message does he aim to put across? We may sum up his purpose in one word — SUFFERING. Suffering seems to be the one thing the Emergent Church leaders and globalists, in particular, are using so effectively to engender feelings of solidarity, unity, and like-mindedness among people, and especially to invoke feelings of an intense longing for a Messiah/Saviour, albeit it an Antichrist, to clean up the mess.

The New Age Phoenix will rise out of the ashes of chaos, and therefore chaos must of necessity be the order of the day. To create chaos the most heinous deeds need to be overlooked with benign acceptance. That is precisely why TV, Radio and the Internet throughout the world are being programmed to stereotype anyone who dares to associate the relentless terror attacks with Islam as bigots and Islamophobes. Indeed, the desensitization of the West to terror, suffering, beheading, suicide bombings and the likes is paving the way for the Antichrist to facilitate and eventually establish his system of a false unity and peace on earth.

Let’s face it, the world at large is yearning for someone to bring peace, especially among the three great religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. A major stratagem of the New Age globalists is to finance, support and participate in the wars in the Middle East so as to intentionally cause havoc and chaos, and henceforward create a vast group of refugees.

Droves of refugees have been welcomed with open arms in Europe and have since become so intertwined with European communities that biblical prophecy in the book of Daniel seems like today’s daily news. (Daniel 2:40-43). Bear this in mind when you read a quote from an open letter, and especially the emboldened part, a group of Muslim leaders wrote to the Pope in 2007.

The survival of the world is at risk if Muslims and Christians cannot make peace, more than 130 senior Muslim leaders warned the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury yesterday.

The warning came in an unprecedented open letter to Church leaders signed by some of Islam’s most influential scholars, including the Grand Muftis of Egypt and Syria.

“If Muslims and Christians are not at peace, the world cannot be at peace,” it said.

“With the terrible weaponry of the modern world, with Muslims and Christians intertwined everywhere as never before, no side can unilaterally win a conflict between more than half of the world’s inhabitants.”

The letter, which was hailed as a hugely significant initiative at a time of growing tensions, urged religious leaders to acknowledge the essential similarities between their faiths.

Using quotations from the Bible and the Koran to bolster their message, the scholars warned that “our very eternal souls are … at stake if we fail to sincerely make every effort to make peace and come together in harmony.”

The letter said that belief in one God and loving one’s neighbours were shared principles between the two religions.

Welcoming the initiative yesterday, Christian leaders said that the joint statement from so many prominent, moderate Muslim scholars could change the atmosphere, making it more difficult for terrorism and extremism to flourish.

The Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, said that he expected a significant response from the Pope, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, and other Church leaders.

Dr Williams said that the letter was “particularly important in underlining the need for respect towards minorities in contexts where either Islam or Christianity is the majority presence.”

But critics cautioned that it could blur the significant theological differences that exist between Islam and Christianity. Significantly, the letter was issued on the anniversary of a statement by 38 Muslim clerics last year, criticising Pope Benedict XVI’s controversial speech on Islam.

The Pope provoked widespread anger by quoting a 14th-century Christian emperor who spoke of the Prophet Mohammad’s “command to spread by the sword the faith he preached”.

Though he has since expressed regret at the reaction to the speech, and insisted that he was misunderstood, he has stopped short of the unequivocal apology wanted by many Muslims.

The 138 signatories to the new letter, which was drafted by the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan, included Muslim leaders, politicians and academics representing every sect of Islam.

Among them were the Grand Muftis of Bosnia and Hercegovina, Russia, Croatia and Kosovo, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the founder of the Ulema Organization in Iraq.

Some who have seen The Shack will probably ask, “But what has all of this got to do with the movie? We saw a lot of Christianity, love, compassion and divine endearment in the movie and nothing whatsoever of Islam.” Look again, dear Christian, at Papa (The Black Madonna) and Sophia in the cave and you will be shocked to see that both play a major role in Islam as they do in Roman Catholicism.

THE SHACK — BACK TO ROME AND ISLAM

In an article I found on the Internet the Black Madonna and Sophia are said to feature prominently in Islam, as it does in the movie The Shack. Here are a few excerpts from the article.

The Goddess Remains the Esoteric Heartbeat of Islam

“The secret veiled power of the Divine Feminine is thus actively at work within Islam. Its esoteric forms uncompromisingly address the Divine with the masculine pronouns, but its esoteric qualities are all feminine. The Goddess remains the esoteric heartbeat of Islam. She is the beloved of Sufis, ‘the ultimate image of God the Beloved — the breaker of all images in the shrine of the heart. She is the form leading beyond form, the obstacle to the Way and the Way…'”

… we have to remember that militant Islam, like muscular Christianity, is only one side of the coin. The reverse is a dazzling mirror-image of Sophia who, in the persons of Fatima and Mary, upholds the Divine Feminine within Islam…

Both Mary and Fatima are reverenced within esoteric Islam, for they are both mothers of the Logos, the Word. . . .

The nature of both the Black Goddess and Sophia are brought out in Islam. The exoteric fulminations about women, so similar to those found in Christianity and Judaism are, of course, negative polarizations of the devouring Goddess, yet this exists side by side with the positive image of the Ka’ba, Islam’s Black Madonna. within Islam, the Divine Male and female principles are typified by the Pen and the Guarded tablet. The Pen is God writing upon the tabula rasa of the World-Soul, which preserves the veiled tradition of Sufism. (

The quotation which leads this chapter is the paradoxical foundation of Islam’s veiling of the Divine Feminine. Ibn Arabi’s exposition of this paradox may help us to understand it better. ‘The Absolute manifested in the form of woman is an active agent because of exercising complete control over man’s feminine principle, his soul. This causes man to become submissive and devoted to the Absolute as manifested in a woman. The Absolute is also passively receptive because, in as much as it appears in the form of a woman, it is under man’s control and subject to his orders. Hence to contemplate the Absolute in woman is to see both aspects simultaneously, and such vision is more perfect than seeing it in all the forms in which it manifests itself. That is why woman is creative, not created. For both qualities, active and passive, belong to the Essence of the Creator, and both are manifested in woman.

Sophia is herself the ‘interpreter of ardent desires.’ The mystical vision of Ibn Arabi portrays the longing of all for Sophia: The aspirations and desires of all seekers are attached to her, yet she is essentially unknown to them; hence they all love her, yet none blames another for loving her. Similarly, every individual soul and the adherents of every religion seek salvation, but since they do not know it, they are also ignorant of the way that lead to it, though everyone believes he is on the right way. All strife between people of different religions and sects is about the way that leads to salvation, not about salvation itself.

But Sophia is also the reconciler of differences, for her love belongs to everyone: ‘She manifests herself everywhere, like the sun; every person who holds her deems that she is with him in her essence, so that envy and jealousy are removed from their hearts.’

Caitln Matthews, Sophia: Goddess of Wisdom,
The Aquarian Press, 1992, p. 179-90.

Most Christians who have seen The Shack seem to be blissfully unaware that they are opening themselves to pure idolatry. It is hardly a coincidence that William Paul Young chose an African American woman to play the part of his androgynous “father” in his “shack-like” portrayal of his self-concocted unholy trinity. Nevertheless, he is not the first to depict the God of the Bible in such a hideous idolatrous way. Kenneth Copeland, one of Rome’s latest lackeys, said the following,

“Adam was made in the image of God. He was as much female as he was male. He was exactly like God. Then God separated him and removed the female part. Woman means ‘man with the womb.’ Eve had as much authority as Adam did as long as they stayed together.” (Sensitivity of Heart, KCP Publications, 1984, p. 23).

Androgyny is not something new in religion. It appears in just about every conceivable religion. In the Encyclopaedia of Love in World Religions, Volume 2 p. 54, we read the following:

Androgynous myths can be seen in ac-counts of creation, as well as in the diverse spiritualities and religious figures embraced by the world’s religious traditions. Myths of creation often invoke powerful androgynous imagery that reflects an understanding of primordial union. Rashi and Abraham ibn Ezra, two renowned medieval Jewish commentators, interpreted the creation of Adam as told in the book of Genesis as an androgynous myth, because God originally created man and woman as one. When God created woman, he effectively separated the female side from the androgyne Adam. This understanding of creation as originally undifferentiated also finds its way into Christian esoteric speculation.

The image of the splitting androgyne is especially prevalent in Hinduism. In the Vedic period, the figure of Dvaya-Prithvi or “Sky-Earth” is another primordial androgyne who subdivides into masculine, feminine, and neuter parts. In the Upanishads, the figure of Purusa subdivides into male and female parts to begin the process of creation. In the Puranas, a later series of Hindu mythological texts, Prajapati divides into male and female parts, which then incestuously copulate.

What should we make of this in the light of William Paul Young’s depiction of God as simultaneously male and female (they call him father [Papa] but he looks like mother] in The Shack. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that he deliberately wants to unite all religions under one banner called Universalism. With a single stroke of his broad-colored Shack-brush he seems to have managed to throw Paul’s and John’s Holy Spirit inspired words in 2 Corinthians and Revelation 18 out of one of the Shacks broken windows.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4).

Christians who claim to be saved and are in awe of the movie The Shack are wilfully or inadvertently shunning God’s command in the above two passages from Scripture. Wake up Christians! The devil who is walking to and fro like a roaring lion is devouring you whilst you are blissfully unaware of his teeth sinking ever deeper into your soul. (1 Peter 5:8).

Why do you think the Pope and RCC priests, as well as the Imams in Islam, wear clothes that look like that of a woman (i.e. a dress or frock worn over pants)? Indeed, it is to revere the androgynous primordial male/female paradigm. It is well-documented that Mohammad loved to wear women’s clothing, causing his followers who are commanded to emulate him in all things to do the same. When Mohammad’s nine wives were dismayed over his favoritism of his child-bride Aisha (he married her when she was six and consummated their marriage when she was nine), he said,

“Do not hurt me with Aisha, for the inspiration did not come upon me when I was IN (fee) A WOMAN’S GARMENT (Thawb) EXCEPT THAT OF AISHA.” (Source- http://hadith.al-islam.com/Display/Display.asp?hnum=2393&doc=0)

“Do not injure me regarding ‘A’isha. The revelation does not come to me when I am in the GARMENT of any woman except ‘A’isha.”

THE SHACK — OBVIOUS LIES

One may understand why some Christians are so easily led astray because they have difficulty to understand certain things in the Bible. Even brother Peter wrote,

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:16-18). . . .

speaking about these things as he does in all of his letters. In which there are some things that are difficult to understand, which the untaught and unstable [who have fallen into error] twist and misinterpret, just as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, [let me warn you] beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of [a]unprincipled men [who distort doctrine] and fall from your own steadfastness [of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith], but grow [spiritually mature] in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, splendor), both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2 Peter 3:16-18, Amplified Bible).

Peter seems to be saying, “The unlearned and the ones who are not well-grounded in Scripture have no excuse for allowing themselves to be led astray and consequently unto their own destruction.” Jesus promised that the truth will set us free (John 8:32) and that his Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). In his, High Priestly prayer He asked his Father to “sanctify them (the believers) through his truth, THY WORD IS TRUTH.” (John 17:17).

Was He lying? If not, why are so many people who claim to be Christians led astray to their own destruction? Wisdom (the genuine one in the Bible and NOT the Sophia in The Shack) unequivocally says “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12). The irony is that those who are so easily led astray are actually the ones who call the shots. They decide what they want and what they do not want. A showbiz maxim “Give them what they want and they’ll come” is even more applicable in today’s Christian circles than in showbiz. The Word of God clearly verifies this when it says,

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” . . . (like The Shack). (2 Timothy 4:1-4).

False teachers have been popping up worldwide since brother Paul penned down these words. Indeed, today’s crowds reject preachers who present the unadulterated Word of God and rather listen to hirelings (among them women pastors who received their credentials with the drop of a hat) to suite their own taste. I have often asked myself whether it makes any sense to warn people against false doctrine and the venomous snakes who preach their false doctrines when people refuse to listen.

Isn’t the command to preach the word in and out of season, and to reprove, rebuke and exhort a bit fallacious when they turn away their ears from the truth? Nonetheless, I was greatly encouraged by the prophet Jeremiah who had a similar problem when God commanded him to rebuke Israel for her idolatrous worship of the Queen of heaven (who has since become the Black Madonna and the Queen of hell or the underground).

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers. Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. (Jeremiah 7:25-28).

Not long ago one of my family members said to me, “Oh, that’s just your opinion” when I read to her word for word certain passages from Scripture. Neither did her husband voice a word of rebuke or exhortation, proving that her divine feminine as a pastor allows her to wield power and dominion over him. The poor guy must remain silent because he is not on the same level as she. Little does she realize that she, together with multitudes in Charismatic churches, is a direct fulfillment of Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4:1-4. All the elements of the last days apostasy are embroiled in her wise Sophiac words, “Oh, that’s just your opinion—i.e. “will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

Many Christians fail to see the most obvious lies in The Shack. I have already evaluated the scene where Papa reveals nail prints in her wrists, suggesting that God the Father (in the frame of a woman, a.k.a. the Madonna) suffered the very same physical abuse and excruciating pains on the cross as his/her Son. Papa’s effort to dispel Mack’s accusation that she had abandoned both him and his daughter Missy, when they needed her most, seems to have struck a chord with most Christians because precious few are able to detect the gross satanic lie that Papa (God the Father) suffered with his Son on the cross, and she even has the nail wounds in her wrists to prove it. Why couldn’t God the Father of the Bible have suffered with his Son on the cross, to the extent that He too had nail prints in his wrists? Here are the reasons.

  1. God the Father is Spirit, and no one has ever seen Him personally face to face (John 4:24). A spirit cannot possibly sport any kind of physical marks. It’s impossible.
  2. God the Father was the One who dealt the single final blow that killed his Son, not only physically but also spiritually. Jesus suffered a spiritual death on our behalf. God alone is able to kill someone spiritually despite the excruciating pain He suffered at the hand of the Roman soldiers. (Matthew 10:28).
  3. Jesus suffered the pangs of hell on the cross on our behalf. Henceforth his unfathomable painful cry, “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken Me?” The devastating forsakenness of his Father was the ultimate penalty for our sins and not the whip lashes, nail wounds in his wrists, and crown of thorns on his brow. If God the Father suffered with his Son on the cross because He allegedly never had forsaken Him, He too would have had to cry out, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken Me.” The question is, what other God would have had to forsake God the Father and God the Son in order to have them pay the penalty for our sins by virtue of this other God’s forsakenness. Then God the Father too would have had to suffer the pangs of hell on the cross, as much as his Son had suffered forsakenness. Hell is to be forsaken of God and to be cut off completely from his holy presence and living water. Did God the Father suffer in this way on the cross as well? Perish the thought.

Many would argue that the nail wounds in Papa’s wrists are merely an allegory to make it more visible and tangible for those who find It difficult to accept it by faith alone. The problem with allegories, and especially an allegory like this, is that it inevitably tends to lead people into idolatry instead of the truth.

Another obvious and very dangerous lie in the movie is the subtle suggestion that human beings may come face to face with God the Father without dying. It echoes Satan’s lie in the Garden of Eden when he told Eve, “Ye shall not surely die,” after God had explicitly warned Adam that they would die if they ate of the forbidden fruit. (Genesis 3: 4). There was only one man in the entire history of mankind who was permitted to see God—not face to face, but from behind.

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. (Exodus 33:20-23).

Yet, in the movie, Mack is able to touch Papa (the first Person in the Trinity) and lay his eyes on Papa without biting the dust.

THE SHACK—A SHOCKING CONCLUSION

The very first thing people want to know when you venture to critique a book or a movie is, “Have you read the book?” or “Have you seen the movie?” Of course, it is true that the reading of a book or the viewing of a movie grants you a better vantage point to arrive at honest and viable opinions. However, sometimes you only need to scan a book and summarize some of the things an author says to see in what direction he has set his sails, especially when you already have the perfect nautical navigation tool at your disposal, which, of course, is the Bible. In this section, we shall quote some of the things William Paul Young says in his novel and compare them with what the Bible teaches.

“God, who is the ground of all being, dwells in, around, and through all things….” [The Shack’s Jesus, p.112]

There is not a single instance where the Bible describes the Trinity as “the ground of all being.” We learn from 1 Timothy 6:16 that God dwells where no man can survive or approach or even see (John 1:18). He is the Creator of all that exists but does not dwell in, around, and through all things. From whence did William Paul Young derive his unbiblical concept that God is the ground of all being? A Hindu site provides us with the answer.

Theory of the Universe – All reality is one, in other words (philosophical) Hinduism [is] a type of monism. This ultimate ground of all being [a phrase later adopted by 20th century Christian theologians like Paul Tillich and John T. Robinson] is called Brahman. Brahman is a force, power, or energy that “sustains the world;”an ultimate reality that causes or grounds existence, an essence which pervades all reality. Ultimately all of reality is one; all is Brahman.

This also implies that Brahman is both immanent and transcendent—it both within and outside all reality. [This view is called panetheism, “… a belief system which posits that the divine (be it a monotheistic God, polytheistic gods, or an eternal cosmic animating force) interpenetrates every part of nature and timelessly extends beyond it.”

On page 182 The Shack Jesus says:

“Those who love me come from every system that exists. They were Buddhists or Mormons, Baptists or Muslims . . . I have no desire to make them Christian but I do want to join them in their transformation into sons and daughters of my Papa, into my brothers and sisters.”—[The Shack’s Jesus. [p 182].

The Bible explicitly states that anyone who is not in Christ Jesus and does not have his Spirit does not belong to Him. “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:9). Anyone who denies that this is an exclusionary benchmark must have his head examined. In fact, ecumenism of which Kenneth Copeland and his church are forerunners in the race to bring the entire world under one umbrella as sons and daughters of Papa, are working overtime to overturn Christ Jesus’s exclusionary criteria.

The genuine Jesus of the Bible said that He had come to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10). He never said He wanted to join all religions into one family and to transform them into sons and daughters of his Papa. To whom is the Jesus of the Shack referring when he speaks of “my Papa?” “Papa” is the Italian word for Pope who is also known as the Vicar of Christ or the officially ordained RCC Representative of Christ on earth. The following YouTube video of the late Tony Palmer urging “sons” (and daughters) to return to Papa (the Pope) is a clear fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

It is crystal clear that the RCC, in particular, is winning the hearts and souls of leaders in various apostatized churches to unite them all under Papa and his whore of Babylon. (Revelation 17:1-5). Here are some of the leaders of mega churches who are urging their congregants to return to Papa (the Pope) and Rome.

PAPA & KENNETH COPELAND

VATICAN CITY – A delegation of evangelicals led by televangelists Kenneth Copeland and James Robison met with Pope Francis for three hours last week at the Vatican.

The meeting was set up by Bishop Tony Palmer, a bishop of the Anglican Episcopal Church in the United Kingdom. Last January, Palmer addressed a Kenneth Copeland pastor’s conference calling for unity between Catholics and Protestants.

“This meeting was a miracle,” Robison told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “This is something God has done. God wants his arms around the world. And he wants Christians to put his arms around the world by working together.” (Emphasis added).

PAPA & RICK WARREN

In an interview with EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo which aired after the conference, Warren called for adherents of various Christian denominations to unite with Roman Catholics and Pope Francis to work together on three shared goals, focusing on the sanctity of life, the sanctity of sex, and the sanctity of marriage. He went on to defend Catholicism and to clarify some of the most common misconceptions about Catholic teaching, pertaining to Marian dogmas and prayer to the saints.

Warren acknowledged that there are still real differences which separate Catholics from other Christian denominations. He envisions Catholics and Protestants working together, not with a structural unity, but rather, with a unity of mission. “If you love Jesus,” he said, “we’re on the same team.” (Tom asks: The Jesus of William Paul Young’s “The Shack” OR THE Jesus of the Bible? Remember 2 Corinthians 11:4?).

PAPA & JOEL OSTEEN

Note carefully how Joel Osteen praises the Pope on his ecumenical thrust.

“I love the fact that he’s made the church more inclusive, not try to make it smaller but try to make it larger, to take everybody in. So, that just resonates with me,”

PAPA & BENNY HINN

A video is being shared around on social media (watch it at the bottom of this article) of Pentecostal preacher and supposed faith-healer Benny Hinn telling a Pentecostal audience that Catholics experience more miracles than Pentecostals. Amazingly, he credits this to the Catholic belief in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, which Hinn says he also affirms (at least a version of it). He also credits the fact that Catholics don’t “church hop” (or jump for church to church) as much as Pentecostals.

“They just released a study that more people are healed in a Catholic church than in Pentecostal churches,” Hinn tells his audience. It’s not clear what study he is referring to. “The studies have proven it,” he declares.

He then explains why he thinks that is the case: “Because Catholic people revere the Eucharist.

“More people get healed in a Catholic church during communion than Pentecostals… because to us it’s symbolic.”

He then defends the doctrine of the real presence: “Well Jesus didn’t say, ‘This is symbolic of body,’ he said, ‘This is my body’; [he didn’t say,] ‘This is symbolic of my blood,’ he said, ‘This is my blood.’”

PAPA & ISLAM

Moulana Sayed Ali Abbas Razawi added: “I was deeply moved by the audience with Pope Francis. I could see the sincerity and love in his eyes as he offered words of encouragement to all of us as we came together in unity.

“This is an important meeting offering hope for everyone, regardless of religion. There is a common humanity to all of us. Some seek to divide people, religions, east versus west, but there is no east or west; there is just our common humanity as we seek a peaceful future for all based on justice and compassion.”

PAPA & HINDUISM

Interreligious dialogue must be grounded in a “full and forthright presentation” of different faiths’ respective convictions, Pope Francis has said.

The Pope made the comments during a meeting at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall during the first day of his papal visit to South Asia. Francis was greeted at the hall by members of Sri Lanka’s Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and Christian communities.

Pope Francis said: “As experience has shown for (interreligious) dialogue and encounter to be effective, it must be grounded in a full and forthright presentation of our respective convictions. Certainly, such dialogue will accentuate how varied our beliefs, traditions, and practices are. But if we are honest in presenting our convictions, we will be able to see more clearly what we hold in common. New avenues will be opened for mutual esteem, cooperation and indeed friendship”.

PAPA & JERUSALEM (JUDAISM)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Monday morning with Pope Francis at the Vatican and presented the pontiff with a copy of his late father’s book about the Spanish Inquisition.

Netanyahu presented a Spanish translation of the 1995 book, “The Origins of the Inquisition,” to Francis during their 25-minute closed-door meeting, as well as a Hanukkah menorah.

Netanyahu’s father, Benzion Netanyahu, was an Israeli historian who died last year. A Zionist activist who opposed partitioning Palestine between Arabs and Jews, he was best known in academic circles for his research into the Catholic Church’s medieval inquisition against the Jews of Spain.

“To his Holiness Pope Franciscus, a great shepherd of our common heritage,” the Israeli leader wrote on the inside cover of the book.

PAPA & BUDDHISM

Pope Francis changed his schedule at the last minute earlier today to visit a Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka’s capital where relics were being put on display.

The opening of a casket containing relics of disciples of the Buddha is a key event in the Buddhist calendar. People line up for days to pay homage to the relics.

A Vatican spokesman said the Pope did not pray during his visit but listened respectfully while monks chanted. Banagala Upatissa, head monk at the Agrashravaka temple, told the Associated Press that allowing the Pope to witness the event was “the highest honour and respect we can offer to His Holiness”.

Pope Francis is the second pope to visit a Buddhist temple. St John Paul II became the first to do so during his trip to Thailand in 1984.

PAPA & WITCH DOCTORS

On February 15, 2017, on his way to the general audience at Paul VI Hall, Pope Francis received a group of Indians who were participants in the International Forum of Indigenous Peoples.

Standing face to face with a woman witch doctor wearing an astrological bandana around her forehead, he executed a curious ritual of touching hands, below, which ended with the woman placing her hands on his temples, above. Her attitude of conquest and the respectful submission of Francis allows us to understand that the shaman was giving him a “blessing” of her gods.

PAPA & SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS

In what is a surprise to many Seventh-day Adventists, a General Conference Representative was involved in an ecumenical audience with the pope on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Seventh-day Adventists are not supposed to be engaged in ecumenical affairs.

“Each year, the Conference of Secretaries of Christian World Communions (CS/CWC) brings together the Secretaries/General Secretaries of world communions (including Baptist, Lutheran, Mennonite, Methodist, Reformed, Anglican and Orthodox) and ecumenical organizations such as the World Council of Churches, the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Global Christian Forum,” wrote Bishop Dr. Harald Rein, Secretary of the International Bishops’ Conference, who represents the Old Catholic Churches of the Union of Utrecht.

While this is not an official meeting (it never passes resolutions or holds a press conference), nevertheless this ecumenical gathering has been conducted annually for the last 20 years. How long Seventh-day Adventists have been involved is unknown. But they are certainly spending money, presumably tithe, to do this sort of thing. The secretary of the group is Ganoune Diop, Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Director of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

PAPPA & CALVINISM

The Pope met with the delegation of the World Communion of Reformed Churches, which unites about 225 Protestant churches in 100 countries, representing at least 80 million Christians.

The pastors visited Rome to hold working meetings with the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, and with those dedicated to promoting justice and peace.

“Unity is both a gift and a mandate for the Church.” . . .

One of the fruits of this visit to the Vatican will be promoting various projects of social assistance with Catholics and Protestants working together. The idea is to focus more on what unites than what separates.

PAPA & MORMONISM

VATICAN CITY— In the wake of the worldwide colloquium on the family hosted by the Catholic Church in the Vatican City, religious leaders from all over the world have gathered together to discuss issues regarding marriage and the family.

In attendance is the first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Henry B. Eyring, as well as other notable LDS leaders.

Reports are slowly coming in that shed light on the interesting work happening there. Papal spokesman,

Dion Algerri stated in a press release, “We are neither confirming nor denying the conversion of Pope Francis to the Mormon Church.”

PAPA & CAMPUS CRUSADE FOR CHRIST (BILL BRIGHT)

The Pope We Never Knew

The unknown story of how John Paul II ushered Campus Crusade into Catholic Poland.

Crusade’s director for Eastern Europe, Bud Hinkson, met Blachnicki in Poland (Franciszek Blachnicki was a Roman Catholic priest who started the Light-Life Movement. Wikipedia) and they agreed for a delegation of about 10 Americans to join Oasis retreats in the summer of 1976. The Americans attended Mass and sat in on small group discussions afterward. In the evenings, they put on typical evangelical meetings for the Poles, where they sang, performed skits, and each gave a personal testimony.

They left Oasis leaders a set of Campus Crusade’s basic training materials so they could become more familiar with Crusade’s program. Impressed by Crusade’s staff and systematic curriculum, Oasis leadership invited Crusade to return and help revise their entire level-one retreat program.

Together, the Poles and Americans developed a new retreat manual using Campus Crusade’s core discipleship training series, Ten Basic Steps Toward Christian Maturity. The problem was getting approval from the church hierarchy to print such Protestant content. To help grease the wheels, Losiak passed on a cassette tape version of Crusade’s curriculum to Cardinal Wojtyla in Krakow. Subsequently, in 1977, the new hybrid Oasis edition of Ten Basic Steps Toward Christian Maturity was fully approved by the Catholic hierarchy and printed with a run of 25,000 copies.

In January 1978 Blachnicki came to America to visit Bill Bright at Campus Crusade’s headquarters in Arrowhead Springs, California. Bright probed Blachnicki about the usual evangelical concerns: “I asked him,” Bright remembered, “What about the Virgin Mary? What about praying to the saints? … He gave me answers which for one with my background were satisfying and amazing.”

Except for a “few fine points,” Bright concluded, “there was basically no difference between what he believed and what I believed.” Little more than a decade later, in 1994, Bright was one of the signers of Evangelicals and Catholics Together (ECT)—a statement of shared convictions by 40 Protestant and Catholic leaders. Bright attributed his support to his personal confidence in the spiritual authenticity of Catholic reformers like Wojtyla and Blachnicki, a trust that was established through their history of working together.

PAPA & “THAT ALL MAY BE ONE”

One thing Satan has learned throughout the centuries is how to use God’s Word to his own advantage. He often quotes Jesus and gives it a slight slant to make it look like a godly sanctified blessing for the entire human race, and particularly every conceivable religion. Within less than a second a quick Google search of the word “oneness” provided about 13 000 000 results; the word “unity” appeared 217 000 000 times, and the word “peace” 922 000 000 times in less than a second.

The one thing it proves is that these words are pretty much uppermost in everyone’s mind, especially in the minds of religious leaders. Just about every Tom Dick and Harry in religious circles love to quote Jesus Christ’s words in his High Priestly Prayer in John 17, That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21).

The oneness Christ Jesus speaks of is a oneness wrought by the indwelling Holy Spirit in all the believers and not a oneness accomplished by the deliberate compromising of biblical doctrine for the sake of peace, as oom Angus Buchan once said, “We must put our petty doctrines aside and come together.” The oneness in John 17 is clearly defined as a oneness that exists within the Trinity. Whatever the Son said, He never said it unilaterally of his own accord. He always said and performed the things He heard his Father say. One of the most profound things He said, was that He did not come to bring peace on the earth but a sword. (Matthew 10:34). Therefore, to believe that his words “That they all may be one” is a prayer for oneness and unity between the vast variety of Christian denominations, let alone all religions, is absurd. It is not a unity compounded by Christ Jesus, the Son of the Living God, but by Satan himself.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death [and utter destruction]. (Proverbs 14:12).

Globalists, Universalists, New Agers, church leaders of various denominations and Christians who have seen The Shack and refuse to acknowledge that its main purpose is to encourage all people and religions to return to Papa, is either willfully blind or just completely and utterly imprudent.

Whosoever revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son. If any man come to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him, God speed you. For he that saith unto him, God speed you, communicateth with his wicked works. (2 John 1:9-11).

While they are saying, “Peace and safety [all is well and secure!]” then [in a moment unforeseen] destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape [for there will be no way to escape the judgment of the Lord]. (1 Thessalonians 5:3, Amplified Bible).

PAPA & ONE BIG HAPPY GLOBAL FAMILY

Universalists are working overtime to unite all people under the auspices of a one world government, a one world religion and a one world economy with a single purpose in view, and that is to create a single human family under the protection and authority of one father and one mother. In their relentless efforts to accomplish this at their earliest convenience, the globalists have identified individuals who have gained an enormous and unfettered influence over vast numbers of people. The Bible calls them preachers who know how to tickle the itching ears of their followers (2 Timothy 4:3) and to give them what they want. And . . . what do they want? What do they crave most? Of course, you have guessed it. They want signs and wonders. They want miracles. Oom Angus Buchan, one of South Africa’s most charismatic preachers relies heavily on miracles to cajole people into responding to his altar calls at his rallies.

In an interview on CBN he fondly recalled a meeting where 5000 Muslims were in attendance at one of his rallies in Mozambique.

“I was preaching my heart out. Nothing was happening, and the Holy Spirit says to me, ‘Stop preaching. They’re not listening to you.’ And I looked down, and right in the front row, there was a man sitting there and he had two crutches. He had a stiff leg. I felt the Holy Spirit say, ‘Go down and pray for that man. And that miracle will turn the people.’ Put my Bible down, told them on the microphone, ‘I’m going to stop preaching. I’m going to go down and pray for this man, and God’s going to heal him.'”…

“I went down there and we had instant attention. From 5,000 people that were milling around and moving in and out, there was absolute silence. You could have heard a pin. I anointed him in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And I said, ‘Do you want Jesus to heal you?’ And he said, ‘Yes, please.’ We prayed for him. I bent down, 5,000 people watching us, and I took hold of his leg. I tried to bend his knee, and nothing happened. It was solid. [This was because the man had a steel pin in his leg due to a forestry injury]. I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, ‘Bend his leg.’ And I bent his leg like that, and something gave way inside. His leg came free, and he was moving his leg. He chucked his crutches and was running up and down and jumping and shouting for joy.”

“I want to tell you after that I didn’t have to preach another word. I made the altar call and 5,000 people ran forward to give their life to Christ.”

“At Shalom we’ve got a saying: one genuine miracle equals a thousand sermons.”

Paul of Tarsus wrote that faith comes by the unadulterated preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and NOT miracles.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

Earlier in a video, we heard Benny Hinn saying that according to an alleged study more people are being healed in the Catholic Church than in all of his rallies he has had thus far because they observe and revere the Eucharist. That’s just another way of saying, “You know what, you need to start celebrating the Eucharist and believe that the wafer is the literal body of Christ and the wine is his literal blood so that you may be healed of all your diseases.” Be that as it may, it is an irrefutable fact that hordes of people are flocking to churches where so-called miracles are dished out every Sunday, mainly through the slain-in-the-spirit phenomenon.

In Hindu philosophy which, by the by, is spreading its tentacles ever wider in Christian circles, healing does not only relate to the human body but the entire cosmos. The pinda in the human body contains the entire cosmos or Brahmanda, whereas the first five chakras, are the centers of the five elements earth, water, fire, air and ether. The sixth chakra is the seat of the mind, while the seventh is located in the brain, and represents Shiva, the supra-causal state of Consciousness. It follows that relational rifts and hostilities on a cosmic scale between entire nations, religions, and governments are supposedly caused by rifts in the human body which need to be aligned to “The supra-causal state of Consciousness” (Shiva) through Yoga and other meditative techniques such as Contemplative Prayer, in order to remove the rifts in the cosmos. The mystic Thomas Keating says,

The modern world lies under a pervasive sense of anguish, of being abandoned, or at least experiencing God as absent. Yet events that seem to turn our lives upside down and inside out are part of God’s redemptive plan, not only for us, but for the world in which we live. God may be preparing a great awakening for the world, if God can find enough people to cooperate in this mysterious plan.

The “Great Awakening” will eventually come to fruition when everyone realizes he or she is one with the cosmos, and one with one another, and begin to cooperate by “setting aside their own petty doctrines” (2 Timothy 4:3-4), as oom Angus said so succinctly a few years ago. Speaking of oom Angus, his “Family Day aimed at Uniting Churches” scheduled for Saturday, 14th October this year will probably be the most successful corporeal healing binge the country has ever seen.

In fact, we are told that “This event has been organized by many churches across the country have expressed the need for an event that will heal and strengthen families.” It is said with fervent surety that oom Angus plans to unite churches (including the Roman Catholic Church) in his upcoming big event. Family life seems to have become one of the most useful units to promote unity and oneness among all of humanity, despite their diverse belief systems.

A dysfunctional family will inevitably have detrimental consequences for a nation as a whole. Therefore, we cannot deny that healthy families where one father and one mother fulfill their God-ordained duties will ultimately have a healthy effect on an entire nation and ultimately the entire world. We’ve already seen how a dysfunctional family impacts the lives of fathers, mothers and their children when a drunken elder of a church abuses his wife and son.

Now, let us for a moment juxtapose the notion that a healthy family consists of one father, one mother and obedient sons and daughters, with the RCC’s one Papa and one mother (the Madonna, whether white or black), to understand why “the gospel of family life” has displaced the “Gospel of Jesus Christ” in an effort to unite all people and their religions under one church, that is the Roman Catholic Church. Don’t for a moment think that oom Angus’ “Family Day at Uniting Churches” is unique.

Rick Warren was invited to be one of the keynote speakers at the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia in 2015. The National Catholic Reporter noted, “Of course, this isn’t Warren’s first turn on a Vatican-sponsored stage. Back in November, he was invited to address the “Biblical Meaning of Marriage” at the Vatican’s Complementarity of Man and Woman: An International Colloquium. (A photo of Francis and Warren shaking hands at the conference is still circulating on the Internet.)” “When Warren defended the “one man, one woman” definition of marriage at the conference, Irish Independent columnist David Quinn tweeted, “Probably the first time ever the synod hall resembled a revivalist meeting!” What did David Quinn mean? Well, in the first place no one ever uses the word “revivalist” to describe the rift so often experienced in marriages. It is exclusively used in church circles. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus defines “revivalist” as follows,

Definition of revivalist

1 : one who conducts religious revivals; specifically: a member of the clergy who travels about to conduct revivals

2 : one who revives or restores something disused.

That says it all because it is a very apt description of what this so-called revival has in mind, and that is “to bring the sons and daughters of all churches back to one father (Papa) and one mother (Madonna). May God have mercy on those who refuse to return to the great whore of Babylon in Revelation 17 and inescapably suffer persecution for their sturdy refusal.

What kinship does the sanctity of family life have with the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Probably very little when listening to what He says in Matthew 12.

While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. (Mat 12:46-50).

Are the preachers who are using the sanctity of family life as a springboard to launch the Gospel at special gatherings doing the will of God? Hardly, because their goal to unite all denominations in the pursuit of peace, safety, and stability, regardless of their doctrines, is not, I repeat, NOT the will of God. What can be more clear than the fact that they want to unite all “families” under the protection and auspices of one PAPA and one MOTHER, in this case, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH? We already know who the Papa and mother are, but who are the harlots who are climbing into bed with the Roman Catholic Church to perpetrate their whorish deeds of spiritual adultery and fornication? Well, you only need to look at the photos already posted in this article to know the answer.

Hey, Tom: Thank/ Thank you so much for all the diligent studying you’ve done & shared with us!! I have yet to read all of this (part 2) article. Read/ I did read all of part 1 last night & man alive, were my eyes ever opened!! (of course I already had enough sense to stay far, far away from this movie!!) But I just mean, wowsers!! Had NO IDEA all the rcc “woven into” the shack & Young’s universalistic ideas. He indeed is taking us back to Rome!! Certainly a set up for the one world religion!

I am learning a lot here! [was actually IN SHOCK that even Seventh Day Adventists partnered with rcc last year!] Your work is not for “naught” and will be highly rewarded by THE KING (Jesus) Himself. Would seem with worldwide apostasy, that time is soon!

For those still on the fence or undecided: if something disagrees with Scripture even just a “little bit” then it is still not for us (Christians!) But if everything about it differs with Scripture — then run, run, run for the hills!! And never look back!! Remember Lot’s wife!!

    Psalm 101:3King James Version (KJV)
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Though in Thess. we’re told to abstain from ALL appearance of evil, yet this is something far more sinister that only a slithering serpent could come up with! For this does not APPEAR evil, yet the general consensus (among the sleepy-headed ‘it’s only entertainment’ carnal Christian crowd) will rationalize it away! And then tell us “how good it is”!!

A reminder of what happened to Eve: Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

THEN the entire human race fell!

Let’s consider this again.. Eve rationalized within herself 1. the tree was GOOD FOR FOOD… “practical” right?
    2. PLEASANT to the eye (notice! Not evil, not ugly, but PLEASANT!! Pretty! Enjoyable! “Only” fruit, what would God care?!)
    3. and to be DESIRED “to make one wise” {wish this site offered a “snake” icon here! as much as I hate them… bleah!]

If you Tom & Deborah are okay with my injecting the Living Bible translation here: The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

SHE **WANTED** the wisdom!! Ah-ha!! Just like you’ve mentioned as well, Tom, that the (many) false teachers abound because people WANT/DESIRE them!! They WANT their ears to be tickled!!

I could go on & on, but all I can say is thank you Tom. And Christians!!!! REAL abiding-in-the-Vine Christians, let’s STAY AWAY FROM THIS FILM!!!

Oh? And BTW! this is not false humility, but I literally repent (publicly) for ever thinking George Burns in “Oh God 1 & 2” were “funny”… of course, I watched them ignorantly with my back-then young 20 y/o friends who also thought it was hilarious & actually talked me into it b/c…. after all, they were Christians & if “THEY” thought it was okay!!….

    Maranatha!!

  2. Dear RJ

    Thank you for your comment!!

Tom put in a tremendous amount of work on this article and it was even a massive eye opener to me. The depth of deception within the Christian church today is beyond what I ever imagined. Then what did I do after I read it? I went and accidentally restored a backup of the website to 2 days before Tom published (Part 1) live online for everyone. His article was no longer. Shock/ I was close to a nervous breakdown. Faint/

    But it’s back, Part 1 and 2. Pheewww. Yahoo/

  3. RJ says:

Oh Deborah!! Pheewww is right! Bet you coulda’ just fainted when that happened!! KER-PLUNK!! Right on the floor!! Causing even a lil’ quake there in your country! Shock/

But the good thing is: it’s back up!! And available for those who have eyes to see & ears to hear! May the Lord be glorified!!

  4. Thank you so much for your comments and please forgive me for not responding that promptly. Writing these articles, I must say, is not something I prefer to do, especially in the light of the things my wife has to go through. Some of her closest friends have turned their backs on her and no longer visit her so regularly as before. Like Paul, we also ask “Are we, therefore, become your enemies, because we tell you the truth?” Thank you so much for your support and prayers. I appreciate it enormously. Nonetheless, we should never forget,

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph 6:12).

    God bless you.

  5. RJ says:

    **HUG** to my sister & brother in Christ!! the hug is because I UNDERSTAND about people turning their backs on you!!! *sigh* Been there! Still there! Goodness, I even get the “there she goes again…. doe in headlights look” whenever I merely bring up the rapture…. to CHRISTIAN FRIENDS!!! So it’s almost become that there are VERY FEW we can even “comfort” with the words of our Titus 2:13 Blessed Hope! {And most of them are online.. as in “real life” as I call it… most don’t even want to hear about it! Just too busy being busy &/or “enjoying life” down here!}

Or there are those who may think I can’t handle life so I’m looking for an escape…. I see each day as “challenges” not troubles, we all have various tribulations we deal with… but escape: Well YEAH!! In fact, we’re told to pray to be counted worthy TO escape!! Luke 21:36 To escape the snare that is about to fall on every left behind person on this planet.

If it helps any you guys to know, we’re in good company, as King David and Jesus both had their friends who’d broken bread with them, turn on THEM…. and “kick up their heel against them”!!

I just look forward to all the eternal fellowship we’ll soon be able to enjoy in heaven!!

This goes along nicely with people turning their backs on us…{I’ll do my best to condense} our neighbor, 3 doors down, and my DH know each other as this neighbor once conducted my DH’s band.

The neighbor is “supposedly” a Christian: goes to the First Church of Laodecia each & every Sunday, laughs at the preacher’s jokes, comes home. For the past 4-5 years, he has CHRONICALLY tried to break into our home!! He, his wife and DD & SIL are all in on it. I presume they hold a “grudge” from 16 years ago when he & my DH “mutually” parted ways {this guy was a control freak}.

Most of the time, he puts his crony home-improvement friends up to trying to get in. Because this is ongoing, we’ve got an alarm, security cameras, all the bells & whistles… which are visibly obvious. That doesn’t DETER him AT ALL…. In fact, only makes him more stubborn & determined to get in!! {which makes me honestly wonder if he’s demon possessed!!} He tries repeatedly, all year long. On numerous occasions he’s sent different people down here to spy on us or peek into our windows, etc. His wife’s “hobby” every Friday night was to stand on the street corner, across the street and peer in here! Till we finally put the security cameras up.

The most SINISTER part of all this is he keeps all this “well hidden” from my husband! As a result, my DH has a tough time believing it entirely [which further hurts my heart … I remind him, however, he WILL believe every jot & tittle when he watches the “video playback” on Judgment Day!!]

Even yesterday this neighbor, Robert, stood in his front yard intently staring at me for 2 full minutes… but my DH was busy mowing & had his back to him. Some how my DH just never manages to notice. Robert makes sure of that.
I’m at my wit’s end, I’m about ready to finally involve the police, yet I don’t think there’s anything they can do for “desire or intent” to break into someone’s home!!

I’d move in a heartbeat! Just that in our current situation, we would not qualify. So right now I’m trying to leave it in the Lord’s Hands. If HE wants us to move, He’ll have to provide a way.

Just how dangerous is this guy? I truly believe his entire heart is EVIL to the core!! When he first noticed the security cameras, he’d drive by & flip us off. And early this year a neighbor had a fire…. Her entire lawn burnt up, fortunately not the house. THIS NEIGHBOR, Robert, was standing across the street LAUGHING the entire time while watching the firemen hose down the yard!!! What KIND of person does that?? Surely a mentally deranged, demon possessed person!! Though I have no proof (again till Judgment Day) I do indeed have to wonder if “maybe” he even set the fire?!! Seeing as how it’s obvious we’re friends with these other neighbors. And if that was the case, was he trying to burn them out? Would that seared conscience not even give a flip if someone would’ve burned to death?????!! Would he just have continued LAUGHING??

Mainly I’m telling you to let you know I surely covet your prayers!! Along with the prayers of any REAL Christian reading this. Thank you, thank you!!

Till we’re out of harm’s way, no matter what “security” measures we take, I truly believe with my whole heart it’s only the prayers of God’s people – the reason angels are keeping watch over us – and this derelict hasn’t gotten into our home yet!!

There are so many other things in life I could be doing if I wasn’t having to constantly endure this nonsense.

And of course it makes me long for heaven all the more!! Where never again for all eternity, will we have to “watch over our backs”!! Because heaven is paradise with Jesus, where righteousness dwells and where no abomination will be allowed to enter in!! Amen!! Even so, come Lord Jesus!!

  6. Oh my goodness RJ. Have you watched the crime channels on satellite tv? They have stories just like this. Stalkers or ‘Psychopaths’ they are called and I think ‘trying to break into your house’ is a crime. It’s called attempted burglary. Even his friends trying to get into your house is attempted burglary. You have to report this to the police. I think there is even now law in America to protect you from people like this – not sure if it’s State dependent through. The longer you don’t report him the longer he gets away with it and the cops will find it weird why you didn’t report all of this sooner. And the worse it will get, until he tries to actually physically hurt you. What is his real aim in trying to get into your house?

As for laughing at someone’s burning lawn in their garden, gosh. Also how does someone’s lawn just catch fire? Never heard of that before. Unless it was set on fire with something flamable.

You will be in my prayers RJ.

Shock/ …at the name of the church he goes too: “First Church of Laodecia”

    Definition: Laodicean
    1.
half-hearted or indifferent, especially with respect to religion or politics.

Jesus Christ says to the church of Laodicea.

Revelation 3:14-17 14 To the angel of the church in Laodicea write 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

  7. Sheepdog says:

It’s all the antichrist’s one world religion taking shape and converging in ‘unity.’

The ‘they’ in John 17 ‘may be as one’ is obviously being used for this ‘unity’.
‘They’ did not include the unsaved. It is a ‘tale of two kingdoms.’ As for kingdoms,
yes Jesus prayed ‘your kingdom come,’ but He will bring it, not us. He came to save
the lost souls, when we get saved we enter His kingdom. But He brings the restoration
of paradise when He returns, the curse is removed, sin, the fall and the devil, etc.
    and one goes the way of heaven and the other ‘kingdom’ that remains fallen to hell;
    the lake of fire.

    Thanks for your ministry!

I wonder if Young claims he was ever saved in his youth? I don’t deny he is apostate. I just wonder if he ever had a genuine faith in Christ. Sadly, I saw an atheist’s blog the other day, someone who used to be a Christian and minister. He said he really loved the Lord. Now it’s all a fairy tale to him. :-( I wonder, if salvation is secure, could God permit long term spiritual warfare of the sort that causes one to turn away? I do know we our responsible to trust and abide in Christ. It’s puzzling…

A person who is genuinely saved will never regret his or her salvation and turn from Christ.

For godly grief and the pain God is permitted to direct, produce a repentance that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret, but worldly grief (the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world) is deadly [breeding and ending in death]. ( 2 Corinthians 7:10).

  10. Hi Daisy Hi/

Please read this little article on: assurance of salvation, vs working for your salvation I know this article is about Calvinism letter “P” in TULIP, but the same applies to anyone who believes they can lose their salvation.
