SHOCKING!! – Kobus van Rensburg’s son preaching while DRUNK at service – 20 Nov 2011

Prophet Kobus van Rensburg’s own son, Kobus van Rensburg jnr. had the audacity to arrive at church one day; drunk.

The kid definitely has problems being drunk, knowing that he he had to preach that day. Here’s some advice, why don’t you ask your father to “heal” you from your alcoholism?

In the video, Kobus van Rensburg jnr. admits to being drunk, speaks about the benefits of being drunk and mentions a drinking bar located in the church.

You can hear the church people laughing at him (or with him) because he is drunk.

Here is what the Bible has to say about Kobus jnr.

1 Corinthians 6 9-10 KJV:  “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

And here’s a verse that proves that “Prophet” Kobus van Rensburg is just another false prophet.

1 Timothy 3 4-5 KJV: “One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?

I only have one comment guys and feel that all miss the big picture of serving the Lord Jesus Christ, is it then not written that we are to rebuke a Christian when he/she misleads God’s children but in the same we are not the judges of man? Come on guys, let’s stop judging one another and do as our Father in heaven wants us to do.. Love one another and forgive those who hurt us. All judgment belongs to God and God alone, he who judges another will be held liable for his/her own judgment as well. If you truly want the truth of the ministry to be revealed on a national scale, pray that God forgive them and reveal all secrets so that other followers of Christ may be made aware so that their lives may at least be spared. All the glory to God alone!! Amen

WE ARE NOT JUDGING HIM! Do you see anyone on this website sending him to hell? No Faith, only God can do that! So Faith, catch a wake up!

We are doing what is biblical correct by MARKING HIM and pointing him out as a FALSE TEACHER to SAVE other people from impending destruction. If at any time the Kobus family decides to repent to JESUS CHRIST they can. But until such time we will WARN everyone about them.

You can’t comment on something you heared and did not experience for yourself or did not watch the broadcast. If you did you would have seen that these people where filled with the Holy Ghost just as in the days of acts. Maybe we must focus on God and Jesus and expierence more of Them before we comment on something somebody said or just took a clip and made it into a negative.
Search your own hearts before you comment on something you have seen or does not know what has happend, do yourself the favour and order that service and see for yourselfs.

    I do not need to jump into a fire to know if I am going to get burnt or not.

    Wrong what Kobus Jr was going was NOTHING like Acts, his was a demonic manifestation because 1) the people in Acts were filled with the Holy Spirit did not ACT DRUNK, 2) they had little tongues of fire appear above their heads, 3) and in fact it was the outsides looking in who thought the people were drunk 4) because the could not understand the different earthly LANGUAGES they were speaking.

    Maybe you need to read your bible and TEST THE SPIRITS (1 John 4:1-6) as God commands you too, test these experiences to see if they are truly from God or ANOTHER filthy spirit.

    Search your bible Wildie, I know the Word of God better than you and I am happy to say I do because I study to show myself approved unto God. I do not go by feelings, or emotions or happy clappy moments, signs, wonders or visions etc. I go by what the Bible says and the Bible says The Kobus van Rensburg family preach a false gospel and manifest demonic manifestations like being drunk in the spirit.

I’d say that this van Rensburg was drunk in the spirit. I just don’t know if the spirit was whisky, brandy, vodka, rum or what. Maybe it was a mixture of all of them.

It is right Deborah if you want to warn people but I would like to know did you peronally go to the van Rensburg family warning them about what they are doing wrong acording to you. The Bible also say you go the people and if they dont listen you take the eldet with you and reprmand them did you follow those steps then you are right but then I also want to know what would God do because God lives in you and all the other people on earth it only depend do we acept God to be one no in our lives because his holy spirt will tell you that you doing the wrong thing. So pray for Kobus and his family if you think they are doing wrong and GOD will make changes

Lynette, you are misapplying Matthew 18. That applies to personal relationships and church family matters. Different rules apply to public ministries and since we are in the electronic age, most every ministry is public and extends far beyond the walls of the church building.

I can tell you that many watchpersons have written to many public ministries with their concerns and never even get a response. Then if the watchperson is in one country or state at a distance, they cannot take someone and go and speak to the individual in person.

Public ministries need to be exposed publicly.

It is really astonishing how people keep on defending Kobus van Rensburg. This is the gospel Kobus van Rensburg jnr. is preaching: ” Spirit Word Ministries stands for the gospel, we preach the good news. Christ came that we can live richly and healthy…Koos jnr” . This was Kobus van Rensburg jnr Facebook entry on February 15, 2014, i have the screen print for those who don’t believe me. When I read the vicious comments aimed at the author of this article, it is frightening to see the lack of biblical discernment.

There is a bunch of these so called “prophets” and “apostles” with a large following in South Africa. Very dangerous teachings. Guys like Leon du Preez and Gebhardt Berndt is gaining almost a cult like following in South Africa. I recently commented on Leon du Preez’s facebook page about his blatantly false utterances, the attacks and comments I received from his followers were very similar to comments received by the author of this article. Leon du Preez and Gebhardt Berndt is now hosting the “School of the Supernatural” course at the Hatfield Christian Church in Pretoria. They have modules on the subject the works.

The troubling thing is I have close friends and family caught up in these cults of Kobus van Rensburg, Leon du Preez and the likes. Lost some dear friends because I warned them against these guys and their teachings.
