    You’re right, God doesn’t care about justice on earth. All those prophets in the Bible had it wrong.

    Spelt ‘Deborah’ (no sarcasim, just correcting the spelling), how many people did you have to speak too to hunt my name down…lol

    I am a born again Christian hence I am IN this world but not OF this world (you should know that verse, but if not I’ll quote about 10 for you later). You on the other hand are trying to recreate the Kingdom of God on this earth of which you so want to be a part OF. Heaven does not exist for you in eternal salvation but on earth in this world.

    I warn of false teachers, ones who come speaking smooth, sweet, positive talk, but in fact are nothing but deceivers. I don’t consider warning people they are in danger a negative thing…but you do. Odd…

    Also I will quote the Phillipians4-8 in context. In fact you can use this RULE when quoting all scripture please. The entire bible, ever word, ever verse, every passage is speaking about the TRUTH, holding onto the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, preaching the REAL message of Jesus not another gospel.

    8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

    If the message being preached is a gospel that Eclipses (just using the words spoken at Amahoro) the original Gospel of Jesus Christ it is therefore NOT True, NOT noble, NOT right, NOT pure, NOT lovely, NOT admirable, NOT excellent and CERTAINLY NOT praiseworthy.

    I will never worship or bow down to The Christ you represent for he is all these things above in a very negative way and the proof is in FACT that he has eradicated the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he has replaced Jesus Christ the Son of God with an IMAGE of himself – that the truth is no longer spoken, only lies. This new message seem soooooooo good, but in effect it’s going to lead to death. And no Satan does not have the power to replace Jesus Christ, this is what men have allowed in their hearts. But there are those few who are awake to what is happening…and are warning others!

    I do not cause division and strife, you do for you preach another gospel. You cause division by trying to lead people astray with twisted teaching. What would it take for you to STOP!

    I don’t have to meet Brian McLaren to know what he thinks. I could not care if he exudes light from the top of his head. But his words….yes, his mocking, insulting of the Gospel of Jesus Christ speaks volumes about who and what he represents. His fruit aka book is evidence of how he is destroying many souls.

    I’ve been thinking about your enterprize.

    I believe it would be far more fruitful for you to call / see yourself as “Discerning the Kingdom”. Your central identity (and indeed obsession) is “the world”, as I understand it you mean the fallen, sinful, false reality that we all experience. That’s a very negative starting point.

    I don’t have to tell you how Paul encourages the Phillipians : “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

    What would it be like for you to take a view where you sought after signs of the Kingdom of God, rather than creating such strife, division and condemnation?

    I can see your gifts fruitfully used in this endeavour. Despite all the words and the passion evident here, I am failing to experience a sense of the love and mercy of God, awash as it is with wordage, conjecture, suspicion, superstition, and fear.

    That’s not meant combatively, nor sarcastically.

    BTW, have you met Brian McLaren? Do you know what sort of person he is, and whether or not there are any fruits evident in his life?

    You know what would be helpful? When you are finally honest with us and stop beating around the bush. When you say what you mean and stop writing in riddles. You point blank refuse to own up to anything that your movement actually believes in. We can quote Brian McLaren where he openly tells us to basically throw the bible away. But you will disagree, yet at the same time agree with Brian McLaren…

    I thought the Emergent movment was all about truth? Oh hang Brian McLaren says there is no such thing as truth.

    Also it would be really helpful to spread the message amongst your Emergent posse to stop mocking and insulting my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

    You don’t like it when people insult you or your friends so why should I tolerate it when you insult my Heavenly Father?

    And we can’t ever agree Roger, because you won’t accept my views and I wont accept your views. But I am the negative one.

    Sorry – just applying the same pattern matching abilities you use, except this time instead of you using it on me, I’m using it on you. It goes like this: read until I find something I don’t agree with. Write something unhelpful about that. Ignore any points of agreement at all costs.

    In the Kingdom of God, being called to community should mean that all these issues become redundant. I do not want to sidestep the thorny issue of “restitution”.

    But the solution I envision is all encompassing, eternally sustainable, and is uncompromisingly just as well as merciful.
