John MacArthur – Take Mark of the Beast and Still be Saved

The fact that John MacArthur teaches that you can take the Mark of the beast during the tribulation and still be saved as biblical truth is because he is a Calvinist.  The doctrine of Calvinism is a false doctrine of epic proportions.  Brannon Howse is an ecumenical ministry who will join hands with any minister they feel fit to join hands with.

How many people will take the Mark of the Beast because of what John MacArthur, Jimmy DeYoung, and Brannon Howse said?

Further proof we in the church living in the days of apostasy don’t have a need for any man teach us. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, not apostate teachers or false teachers.

1 John 2:26-27 – “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.  27 But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.”

What does the Bible say about taking the Mark of the beast during the Tribulation?

Revelation 13:15-17 – “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 14:9-11 – “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
Revelation 19:20 – “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
Revelation 20:4 – “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

  1. ChosenJulia, would you say that Hebrews 6 confirms or denies Jesus Christ’s promise in John 10,

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. (Joh 10:28-30).

If you say, “it denies it” then you have a problem with having faith in Jesus. I rest my case.

  2. James says:

Um, some of you are missing the obvious here. What if someone is FORCED to take the mark of the beast without their will? You’re telling me that because they were branded unwillingly they can’t enter into the kingdom?! You’re just wrong.

  3. Hi James.

I think you’re the one who is missing the obvious here. How do you force someone who has no free will? I am sure you know that Calvinists have the silly notion that mankind in toto has no free will. So, how do you FORCE someone without their will when they have no will? Do you see that your argument falls flat on its face? You’re just so wrong.

An Islamic expert says of their own religious system:

“The Divine will is irresistible, and has decreed in every detail the entire course of the universe which He governs, and the fate each moment of every creature therein . . . Its dogma of predestination and of fate . . . leaves no room for human free-will . . .” (Alfred S. Geden, Comparative Religion (London: Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, 1917), 102–103.)

And so it is with Calvinism.
