What is the Unforgivable Sin?

The Unforgivable SinWhat is the Unforgivable Sin?

The thought of having committed the unforgivable sin has been placed on so many Christians and it’s a tremendous burden to carry. Especially those who attend these false Christian churches of today. They question the peculiar/unbiblical happenings around them and the strange teachings being taught and they are told by the Pastor or congregants that they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit and therefore have committed the unforgivable sin.

“…Modern Protestant interpretations of the sin include the deliberate labeling of good as evil, as rejecting the conviction of the Holy Spirit, of publicly attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan.”  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_sin

Matthew 12:24 “But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.”

Matthew 12:31-32 ” 31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

The Most Lethal Sin – The Hardening of Your Heart

The Most Lethal Sin The Hardening o fYour HeartFor it was of the Lord to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that [Israel] might destroy them utterly, and that without favor, as the Lord commanded Moses. (Joshua 11:20)

Modernists and liberal theologians have constantly condemned the conquest of Canaan as the most brutal and cruellest wars in the all the history of Israel. In their endeavors to bring the people of God into disrepute, they obtusely sympathize with the victims and brazenly denounce the Israelite.

Notwithstanding all their criticism, one thing stands out brilliantly in the pages of Scripture describing Joshua’s war expeditions in Canaan-the final consummation of God’s righteous judgments after a very lengthy time of patience and long suffering.

Lordship Salvation – Putting the Cart Before the Horse

 srcset=

The problem is that Lordship Salvation confuses the ROOT of a believer’s faith, i.e., faith in Christ (Romans 4:5), with the FRUIT of that faith, i.e., good works (James 2:18). The ROOT should bring forth the FRUIT; but the FRUIT cannot come before the ROOT. DO you understand the difference? Lordship Salvationists are demanding the FRUIT as a prerequisite to salvation. They are putting the cart before the horse.

“But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew… But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.” -Mark 14:68,71

The above passage of Scripture is speaking about the Apostle Peter. Peter sinned by denying Jesus. Yet, Peter was a born-again believer. King David was a Christian; yet he conspired to have a man killed, to cover up an unwanted pregnancy, from an adulterous affair with that man’s wife. Abraham and Sara doubted God. Moses was a murderer. Samson went with a harlot. Jacob was a thief. Jonah ran from God. Noah got drunk. Isaiah was a man of unclean lips. These were God’s best and brightest.

Lot was a worldly believer. Yet, 2nd Peter 2:7 calls Lot a “just” man. The Lordship Salvation crowd would have considered all of these men unsaved. Yet, we see they were saved.

This subject needs to [be] preached about on a regular basis, because the damnable heresy of LORDSHIP SALVATION has infiltrated our churches, and is leading multitudes into Hell.

Pope Mortified that he was found practicing Mortification

Pope John Paul II regularly carried out mortification of the flesh, according to Polish nuns - © 2009 Associated Newspapers LtdSo why DID Pope John Paul II whip himself?

The image is as arresting as it is intriguing. Pope John Paul II, who died in 2005, regularly used to whip himself, according to one of the team of Polish nuns who looked after him.

‘We were in the next room and we would hear the sound of the blows,’ reports Sister Tobiana Sobodka, in evidence revealed this week by the Vatican Commission considering whether to declare John Paul a saint.

In Catholicism, there is a long tradition among saints, mystics and scholars of inflicting pain on your body as both a form of penance for sins, and in imitation of Christ’s suffering at the hands of the Roman soldiers who whipped him before putting him to death on the cross.
