No other person on earth suffered as much as Jesus Christ when He was on earth. Are you going to say to Him. “ME TOO . . . ., Mr. Wise guy? We all endure some kind of suffering, pain, misery and various kinds of sorrows in this world. It is unavoidable, as the unpleasant saying goes. However, Scripture also says,

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. (1 Peter 4:15-16).

The Shack

INTRODUCTION

Why are so many people who claim to be Christians so gullible and so much in awe of the movie The Shack? Are they real Christians who are easily led astray by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14) or are they Christians in name only who love to be entertained by tearjerker movies? (2 Timothy 3:1-8)

Assuming that a large number of those who have seen the movie and speak so highly of it are real Christians, would it adversely affect the meaning of Jesus’ words in John 10?
