Ivin Viljoen – The Fires of Hell Burn Bright for 220Genergation

Ivin Viljoen - The Fires of Hell Burn Bright for 220Genergation

ivan viljoen 220 generation

An old article that needs to be highlighted again due to the mention of Solid Rock Church run by Johan van Wyk.

220 Generation run by Ivin Viljoen – A False teacher teaching our youth in South Africa.

I have been meaning to write an article about 220Generation ( and Ivin Viljoen for a while, but it’s been a difficult one only because reading his newsletters he sends out regularly are so full of false teaching it’s nauseating to read.  But the time has come that I expose this man for what he really is.  A False Prophet!

Firstly I want to mention this:  Ivin Viljoen takes preaching from pretty much every minister out there;  bad and good, mostly bad though.  He leads the youth in South Africa astray with mixed messages.  One minute he points towards men who preach the gospel and the next minute he points towards blatantly evil men who preach a false gospel.  He is a master of disguise.

I first found out about Ivin Viljoen when I found an small book he had written called “Vision for a generation” on Faith of the Martyrs (FOTM) run by Doug Perry (a man who has taken multiple ‘spiritual’ wives over and above his real wife).  This book by Ivin explained a vision he had of an Army of God, the youth raising up and taking back the earth for Jesus.

I emailed Ivin to warm him that his vision was completely unbiblical.  The answer I received from him contained contradictions of mass proportions.  Ivin can’t keep to the same story to save his life.  He changes from one day to the next becoming more and more heretical as time goes by.  He is one of those who agrees and disagrees at the same time. He changes his tune to suit the question.  Ivin there is only ONE Truth.  Not multiple ones.

Lets have a look at what Ivin Viljoen has to say under ‘About the Founder’

“Hi, I’ve been in youth ministry since in 2004 and serve God by ministering to young people. I gave up my life to follow Christ and made my calling and election sure by attending RBC SA for it’s full three year curriculum. Since then, God has shared many visions, dreams and prophetic messages with me that made me pursue the will of God stronger. These divine revelations were about revival among young people. I am a fan of revivals and studied them for three years now./[sic] It’s probably the only thing I wants most in the world.”

[DTW note: But Ivin why did you not mention you were a youth minister at  Spirit Word Ministries lead by Kobus van Rensburg?]

“I’m influenced by revival teachers like Andrew Storm, Doug Perry and many of the vintage generals God rose up in centuries before us. Leonard Ravenhill, Charles Finney, Charles Spurgeon and the like.”

On the prophecies website he quotes Kim ‘occultist’ Clement

Kim Clement:   (Word of Faith / Latter Rain / New Apostolic Reformation / Occultist / Spiritualist / Emerging Church)

“God says I declare unity within four portions of the body of Christ and this will cause a generation of young people to arise and declare war against the savages of this nation”.    Kim Clement. 21 April 2007. Humble Texas.

[DTW note:  Four portions of the Body of Christ? (verse please?).  Oh I know, I know:  The Book of Clement 5:6;  “I recommend the following 4 portions: Proteins, Vegetables, Starch and Fruit”.

I wont even mention the comment about declaring war against the savages of this nation (verse please? ) – That sounds exceptionally loving Ivin.  I know who will persecute genuine Christians in the end times and if you don’t repent you will be one of them that persecutes the ‘savages’ i.e, truly born again.]

“For God said I will shake churches, I will shake businesses, I will shake ministries, I will shake – everything that can be shaken will be shaken. And out of it, out of it will emerge a new sound, a fresh sound that will draw in the wicked, that will draw in those that are crying for help. And God said there will be such unusual miracles like the earth has never seen: in medical science, in technology, athletes will break records as has never happened. The spirit of Samson will rise upon physical bodies and God said there will be so many wonderful, wonderful breakthroughs. For a unique generation shall bring a unique manifestation and unique miracles. God said prepare yourself for you will be saying these same words “this has never ever happened before!”    Kim Clement. 8 July 2007. Pasadena California.”

[DTW note:  You can’t be serious Ivin;  you believe this rubbish?  ‘Out of it will emerge a new sound’ (verse please?).  This is New Age Spirituality talk and this new ‘sound’ is the Anti-Christ.

Unusual miracles such as athletes breaking records as never before?  (verse please?).  This is possible, but only because they are taking performance enhancing drugs.

The spirit of Samson will rise upon physical bodies?  Besides that there is NO SUCH THING as a ‘Spirit of Samson’ (verse please?) are you agreeing and believing with Kim ‘Vibrations’ Clement that you are going to get physical strength like Samson?  I can’t wait to see this.  But I do know if you join the gym and pump some iron you will build muscle.]

Ivin quotes Kim Clement ± 11 times.

He quotes Andrew ‘preach the gospel and add in deception’ Strom: [2]

Andrew Strom:  (Youth revival, Joels Army, Latter Rain, Apostolic and Prophetic, Incognito New Apostolic Reformationist who preaches Emerging Church)

“I tell you, when this “new music” arises, watch and see how fast this occurs. The media will be falling all over themselves to be par of it. Do will indeed “change the understanding and expression of Christianity IN THE EARTH in one generation”

“The street revival will become a media revival. When you think about it,this may be the best way that the youth of the West can be reached en masse today. But how humble the new leaders will need to be to cope with the pressures that will come with this” – Andrew Strom.”

[DTW Note:  New music,  New sound, New Move, Vibrations, Sounds of Heaven, New Wine…I just can’t keep up with all this NEW Age terminology.  Ivin,  it’s GOT NOTHING TO DO with how humble the youth will be but whether they are GENUINELY SAVED!]

“I believe people who are really gifted with audio, digital and visual skills will be crucial members of God’s “commando army” in the coming media war.” Andrew Storm “The Ned Flanders Syndrome”

[DTW note:  God’s ‘commando army?  (verse please?)]

He quotes Smith ‘punching people in the stomach to heal them’ Wigglesworth:

Smith Wigglesworth:  (Latter Rain / Word of Faith / Faith Healer)

“I see the greatest revival in history of mankind. I see the dead raised. I see every form of disease healed. I see whole hospitals emptied with no one there. Even the doctors are running down the streets shouting. Untold numbers of uncountable multitudes that will be saved. Nobody will be able to count those who come to Jesus. No disease will be able to stand before God’s people. It will be a worldwide situation, not local, a worldwide thrust of god’s power and god’s anointing on mankind”   Smith Wigglesworth

[DTW Note:  Smith Wigglesworth was just another William Branham, who ran a ‘healing ministry’ of false signs and wonders.

‘”Untold numbers of uncountable multitudes that will be saved. Nobody will be able to count those who come to Jesus”?  (verse please?)  Hold on, I’ll help you, here is one to show you just how false this:

Luke 18:6-8     6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; 7 now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? 8 “I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

[DTW Note:  So Ivin, there will be hardly any genuine Christians left for 99% would have followed the False Christ that Jesus also warned you about, that has come to deceive the entire world!   It is going to be so bad Ivin that Jesus says that if God does not cut the days of the end times shorter there will be no one who survives, but for the sake of the truly born again he shortens the time before Jesus comes back.]

Matthew 24:22    “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”

[DTW Note:  All these so called prophecies you have mentioned above by so called generals of God speak about miraculous signs and wonders in the end times, and these so called prophets speak about these things that are going to happen as something great…but JESUS SAYS:]

Matthew 24:24     “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

And then Ivin quotes Johan van Wyk of Solid Rock Church (Church of Miracles)

Johan van Wyk:  (Latter Rain / Occult / New Age Spiritualist / False Prophet / Joels Army / Not sure what else, but whatever it is, it is bad)

“Our task is to raise the John the Baptist generation. The Elishas, like Elijah raised Elisha, to make ready a people for the Lord”    Johan van Wyk

[DTW Note:   Good grief…now it’s a John the Baptist generation…what next? (A verse would be nice?)

Quote of the year!!

“After deciding only to preach the truth this year, we had some comments concerning our teachings…”   Johan van Wyk

I have left this for last (not that I have run out of stuff to expose the living day lights out of Ivin, but only because I will be writing non stop for a year).  Here is a prophecy sent out via a newsletter by Ivin which I think deserves a big flashing strobe light. You wanted to be famous Ivin, now is your chance – embrace it like you have embraced the Occult]

Subject:  Word from thunder
Sender:  220 SA Revival Watch –  ivinv(at)
Date:  2009/01/20 11:09 AM
[DTW Notes in green]

“The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook” Psalm 77:18 KJV   [You could have quoted from any translation and you would have still twisted it.  So as we can see bible translations really make no difference when it comes to twisting scripture.  This example obviously does not apply to the Kenneth Copeland et al versions.]

God’s voice is likened to thunder in many other places including Job 40:9, Psalm 104:7 & Revelations 14:2   [Ivin, um…and these verses in no way apply to you!]

Last night was a great night, spiritually – but also very, very scary and sad. Because I believe God shared His heart with me.  [So dramatic, so false…]

Anyone who lives on the East Rand of Johannesburg, South Africa will know that we endured a hail and thunder storm like what we have never experienced before. It was some of the most powerful thunder and lightning few have seen or heard in their lifetime. The clouds, even though I didn’t dare look, were raucous and boisterous. The sound was mighty and great, and I experienced the power of God in that storm. It was one of the greatest displays of God’s might and power I have ever witnessed.   [Just wait till judgement day.]

It was 12h38 and a storm came up. As I explained, the magnitude of the thunder was to the level as if a Boeing 747 or perhaps a Cheetah fighter plane or perhaps a Mirage was revving its engine right next to my window. The lightning was swift, long and intense. It lit up the entire world around me.  [I know about the storm that took place Ivin. It was not any worse than some of the thunder storms that have taken in previous years.]

Now, God speaks to me in various ways but mainly in a few avenues: in visions, in wind, thunder and lighting.   [God speaks to genuine Christians via His Holy Spirit in a gentle whisper, and the Holy spirit abides in us, but only once we are truly born again – you seem to have a completely DIFFERENT means of having god speak to you.]   And last night it was as if God was trying to get my attention   [Trying to get your attention?] or someone’s for that matter.   [You would think your god would let you know if he was trying to get your attention instead of someone elses – that’s like eavesdropping is it not?  Continuing to listen to a conversation that was meant soley for another?] And I believe He got it. I believe there were fear of floods and destruction, but I asked God to let it pass, if there was any on its way.    [Ohhh so this is the Word of Faith coming through, ‘Speak and God will do it’.  But I am confused, you were not even sure if there was any disaster on the way… ahh huh.  You once said to me in an email  “I am admittedly from the word of faith camp, staunchly trained in the Classrooms of Rhema, teaching the Spirit Word material (Kobus van Rensburg’s bible school)…I am grateful for the foundations they laid.”  Grateful for the foundations laid?  Your foundation is built on SAND, it’s not one bit sturdy and will be washed away if you don’t repent and build your foundation on ROCK which is the real Jesus Christ of the Bible.]

At first, I asked God: “What’s wrong Lord?!” And I sensed the Lord was very, very unhappy. He was angry. Many, from Psalmists to prophets to any man of God sensitive to God’s voice and nudging will testify to God speaking through the elements   [Oh for crying out loud, God speaking through the elements?  Fire, water, earth, air?  Occult beliefs] – especially thunder as substantiated in the Scriptures above.   [No, only the Holy Spirit in a gentle voice]

Upon asking God what the matter was, I sensed Him starting to speak to me. He spoke but I couldn’t understand, it’s like I needed an interpretation. Something like the interpretation of the thunder tongue –   [You could not understand Him?  Odd the bible says that the Holy Spirit leads us into all understanding, but you could not understand – again, what god tries to deceive you? As for your ‘interpretation of the thunder tongue’ (VERSE PLEASE?)]  if you understand my example.   [No, because it’s a heretical example].  Around 5 minutes after I asked the Lord for an “interpretation”, the Lord started to reveal things to me.   [5 minutes?  That’s a long time, did confusion set in by any chance?]

I memorised what He said, sometimes in whispered thunder, other times in great barrow loads that made one frightened.  [Frightened?  God does not frighten us, He loves us, but I do know of one that does cause genuine fear, and that is Satan]   Imagine someone speaking to you the way I explained the thunder to you. Ask anyone who were in that thunder storm and have them try and explain it to you, it was incredible and frightening at the same time! As thunder was now understood in word, the Lord said a few things.

I started to memorise what He told me at first, but then heard the Holy Ghost tell me that I am human and WILL forget if I didn’t write this down.  [Now the Holy Ghost is speaking to you and not the thunder – you are one contradiction after another.]  I went and got a piece of paper and a pencil. I wrote down what God said thus far at the table in the lounge. Then I went back to the bedroom and put it on the bedside table. It was quiet and I thought God had finished – then He spoke some more and I wrote that down too. Five or so minutes once what God said to me was recorded, the rain stopped and so did the thunder; and the heavens rested from its proclamation.

Now, what I am about to share with you might be far fetched and seem ridiculous   [Oh yeah, reader, continue to read further for this is exciting stuff]  – but I want you to receive it from the source it comes from.   [Yes, Satan or your imagination, either way it’s a lie].  I believe sternly that the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophets and I hope my track record speaks for itself[What track record? 100% false come true, 0% true come true! And by the way, a miniscule amout of false prophecies do some true.  But the great thing is, is that God tells the truly born again to not fear the false prophets that speak these words.]  I have no desire to gain favour from any of you and wish no applause or accolades  [No, you just want to lead children astray] – as many prophets do and expect   [What like Kim Clement for instance?]. I want to be God’s voice or his messenger if you will.  [The Word of God (Bible) is our record of all truth and the Holy Spirit guides us into understanding of the Word of God – I understand that you do NOT line up with the Word of God at all.]

I don’t HAVE TO share this   [Oh, but you want too, because as I said above you are sent by your god to lead youngsters astray.]    but would like for this word to be on record as I like when God’s word spoken to me come to pass.   [Thank goodness you did actually, because it’s just extra proof as to who you really worship.  God despises those who say,  ‘God told me’ when He did not.]   You may judge severely any and every word shared if you like   [I don’t judge you, but I do judge the false words that come out of your mouth. I judge with the plumbline being the Word of God and you have been found to be wanting] – for that is the judgement I am subject to if sharing a prophecy with people, especially on this blog or newsletter.

The content is controversial and very, very different. But I want to release it nonetheless and see if my ear is attentive and am I still or hearing God’s voice at all.   [Let me clear this up for you right now so that you get on your knees today and repent for following a false Christ.  Turn your life over to the REAL Jesus Christ of the Bible, submit to His Truth!]   I trust the way that God speaks to me and therefore have full confidence in sharing what I am sharing with you today.

When God started to speak to me, I sensed what He was saying to me was very personal.   [Then why do you display it to the world? – Contradiction!!]  Like what He said was almost said in complete confidence and trust.   [Oh, well…]   But I did understand that what He said was to be shared with anyone I could.    [‘Complete confidence’?  Yet it could be shared with everyone as well?  What the?  Please remind your followers to never tell you anything in confidence.]

At the beginning of Him starting to speak, I sensed He was angry, very angry. And I could hear it through the thunder in the natural mixing with the words “angry”, “angry”, “angry”. But it was a sad angry. An almost crying, weeping, anger-sweeping through His heart like sorrow that’s almost unrepairable.

Then He shared something specific with me. Now, if this happened last night specifically or has happened some time ago I’m not entirely sure. But what was very clear was that there are 5, specifically 5 atrocities that have been committed in South Africa.   [Why did your god not tell you what these atrocities were?  Why does he leave you to guess?  It could be one of 10,000 things when you look at the current state of this country, so try pull another leg why don’t you.]     I had a very deep and concise sense that it was last night but don’t want to commit to that.    [Don’t want to commit? Why?  Does your god have a reputation of telling lies therefore he is not reliable enough to repeat what he told you?]

[PS, Question:  after being told to write the message down because you were told you would will forget, why is the prophecy so short?  When I was reading your email I was expecting a dictation of at least 10 lines…not like 10 words.]

God said it has not been revealed in the news yet but will surface in the weeks and months to come. “It will be revealed soon.”    [Please lets us know soon, I am sure there are many waiting in extreme anticipation to hear what these 5 things were]   is exactly what He said. Such are these atrocities that many will look at it in disgust and disappointment with disbelief that man is capable of such a thing. This has been committed on different levels of society – not one in the same. Levels as in political, social, economic, religious, etc.    [This is the 7 Mountains of the New Apostolic Reformation / Dominionsism – to take over all spheres of the world]  I couldn’t understand more detail to that.    [Why not?  I know what this is all about.]

God said then there will be a few swift judgements following. My question to Him was: “a judgement for each atrocity?” And all the Lord showed me was the numbers 1 and 9.   [Oh, now it’s numbers: Kabbalah / Numerology = Occult]   Could this be 19 or ranges of judgements from 1 to 9?   [Maybe he was counting from 1 to 9, and wanted you to complete it with a 10,  just a thought]   However it may be, it was very clear that judgement will follow swiftly and suddenly upon those specific instances.

The Lord then very clearly stated that the fear of the Lord WILL return to South Africa.[Latter Rain / New Apostolic Reformation nonsense re: verse above Luke 18:6-8]

Then, I sensed in a vision God walking off.   [No comment]

By now you’re probably judging me as a lunatic and so be it, but I feel the need to speak these because “to him who is given, much is required” and “to him who is faithful with little will be made master over much“.   [Yeah, it’s tough being a false prophet].

Instead of stoning me today, why don’t my friends and readers please rather consider committing this to prayer and ask the Lord for more revelation. As I said: I am open to the severest and worst judgement, should I have erred but would like you’re interpretations of what God said last night.

[Ivin is just letting you know in advance that you are not to judge him or stone him (just love this one, so over-used because we who test and weigh don’t stone, we just point out the errors – big difference).  Anyhow he is just preparing you in advance for when these 5 horrendous, terrible, outrageous atrocities don’t happen. I like the way you say you are open to the severest judgement (excluding stoning) should you have erred and then ask others out there to interpret what your god told you.

I mean from what you wrote, how difficult can it be to understand that;  5 atrocities have occurred or will occur within the next couple of months and be shown on the news, and will shock South Africa half to death and bring the fear of the Lord back to the people of this country.

Ivin, not everyone is a complete fool and there are true Christians out there who can see right through you.]

I wont even mention where you said in a newsletter, that all Christians need to come together including Catholics

Solid Rock Church have been slapped with legal papers to not advertise false claims of healing:   Johan van Wyk – Solid Rock Church With Not So Solid Advertising

Update:  It’s been over 3 years since Ivin’s prophecy and nothing has happened.  Either Ivin has a vivid imagination and a liar or Satan spoke to him through a thunderstorm and Ivin believed what he was told to wrote down.  I pray Ivin learns from this and his eyes are opened to the truth of the matter and does not carry on beinging deceive.

I have published your article as wide as I can. If you don’t get any comments it wasn’t really worth posting this article. I’m nobody Deborah. I wish revival for lost souls. Those that know me know that. God bless.

    >> I would just like to know if there is anybody you’d recommend.

If you look down the right hand side you will see links to people who preach the truth, there are more links soming soon.

    >> Do you have a favourite bible translations you use?

Why do you need a favourite bible translation? When The Holy Spirit is the one that gives us the truth all the time. i.e., The bible means nothing without the Holy Spirit.

Do you have the Holy Spirit in your life?

  • Ivin

Are you commenting to yourself? Or is that perhaps an attempt at FAQ’s?

  • Shaun Krause

I would just like to know if there is anybody you’d recommend. Remember that by the measure you judge your judge as well. (Matt 7:2)

Do you have a favourite bible translations you use?

  • Discerning The World

Ivan, I replied to Shaun before I approved his message so my comment came thought before his went live.

  • Discerning The World

Thanks for sending my review far and wide. Now people can really see what you are about. By trying to ‘expose’ me you expose yourself more…Your own words judge you.

Below is you email you sent to your subscription list. If you read the ‘About this Blog’ page, I said that all emails I receive I will post in the comments section. But I’ll put this more out in the open so there are no confusions. So here we go:

Our website has had a review on Friday. DTW has called me to repentance because of my “prophecy from thunder” post of a couple months ago and through the heading of the post condemened me and the220 to or from hell.

I didn’t condemn you to hell and certainly not from hell. The title refers to your wonderful godly logo with Fire burning like hell, sorry I mean, looking all bright and cheery like ‘heaven’…..errrrrr. Besides the Word of God condemns you, not me.

“Discerning the world” is like a “watchman” blog that speaks against revival, everyone doing something for God and who are bearing fruit. She spoke against Lakeland, CFC, David Hogan, me and even Angus Buchan.

Hahaha, and exactly what did Todd Bentley turn out to be? A Liar, a false teacher who has managed to do more damange to people than anyone else I know of lately. Do you admire him Ivan?

    Angus Buchan?

Yes, you know this already. You were the first one to take information (Revival is here quotes from Angus) from the above article last year that I had posted last year. You then sent out a newsletter using my hard research without even crediting me. Pffff…I’ll always credit you.

This type of blogging extracts mudslinging from many people; saved and unsaved. Look at the following post, her comments and what was produced. I say enough.

You’ve got to be kidding, the guy insults Jesus Christ and you stand up for Him? Well…enough said too.

This premise is the reason why I left; because unsaved people cannot argue with saved people about faith 1Corinthians 2:12.

Deborah, I am careful to prophesy, ask anybody that. Ones that recently came to pass is the split of the ANC, the ANC losing it’s 2/3 majority, petrol price drops etc. Words from God that impact the world. I speak when I hear God trusting me with something He wants to speak through me.

Odd, most political analysts said the same things.

Other prophecies you missed when you “skimmed” my site was the prophecy for South Africa I posted last year. The prophecy you referred to and torn apart was posted because it was such a great display of God’s power. She wrote:

“[I know about the storm that took place Ivan. It was not any worse than some of the thunder storms that have taken in previous years.]”

Um, no Deborah. You don’t know what you’re speaking about. Knowing ‘of’ the storm and being there is two different things. Someone actually mentioned to me the sound sounded the same next to his window as it was mine. He lives 60km away from me! He DID not, however, confirm or shoot down my interpretation.

Of course I do, I live about 50km from you . When I got your email I thought…”gosh, what the heck is he talking about. That storm was bad but I’ve seen worse.” LOL, agreeing with you that the storm was bad and disagreeing with your ‘prophecy’ are two different things.

Also, Deborah. You really shouldn’t write your acrticle as if any of the people I quoted is at all associated with me or my ministry. I admire all of them but they don’t have or want anything to do with me.

Where did I say they were associated with you or your ministry? I quoted these comments from YOUR WEBSITE by other false teachers because you AGREE WITH THEM hence you quote them. But you have now exposed yourself again by telling everyone, “I admire all of them”. So, if you admire someone and they speak blasphemies then…well….no rocket science involved here to figire this one out.

Finally, Deborah, You should really spend more time preaching the Gospel, which my site is dedicated to; or at least ‘review’ sites or ministers that you ‘approve’ of.

Oh lol, your site is dedicated to preaching a ‘false’ gospel that is. Quoting from people who have nothing better to do than insult and mock Jesus Christ the Son of God

I have considered removing you from my list becuase I don’t like throwing my pearls before swine and dogs, however, reading something other than lambasting blog posts about ministers that do exactly what Jesus said we must do “preach the Gospel, … heal the sick, raise the dead etc…” might be a good thing to you and maybe all that hatred and gunk will fizzle out.

Oh but of course, you would in no way want me exposing you any further. Thanks for calling me a pig and a dog. Oh but then you’ve all ready called truly born again people SAVAGES by admiring Kim ‘The occultist’ Clements oh sooo wonderful prophecies…’from god’…lest we forget to mention that it was from god.

I didn’t give the post too much consideration as I am busy writing another book you can ‘critique’ called: “One, God’s Blueprint for the Church” and busy setting up a Revival College which will start in July. It was inspired by most of the people you mentioned in your post. I will send you an official invitation to the launch so you can come and give another critisizing post of what we do there. In fact, you must join the College, you might learn something.

Of course you gave it consideration otherwise you would not have emailed your entire mailing list to come and comment here. You know, 100 against 1 is always the better war strategy. Send in your Joel’s army why don’t you. I have no doubt your revival colledge was inspired by the above heretics. And don’t contradict yourself again, one miute you are wanting to send me invitations to your colledge but also want to remove me from your mailing list. Come, make up your mind, the same goes for which ‘Christ’ you follow.

Note: Look, I know this email is a bit boisterous, but if I let reviews and posts like yours thwart what I do I would have probably acted like an ostrich and put my head in the sand. I can’t tho’. Too many people are dying and going to hell. I focus on the lost – you should do the same.

Um, yes and you send them to hell with your horrendus teaching. And I do focus on the lost, the ones you lead astray.

Everyone, please go to Deborahs post and comment, it’s been up since Friday and nobody commented except me :) Also, our Revival College is a brick and mortar College (for now) that will be for teaching people about revival and the approriation of it.

They can comment till the cow come home. All they will do is cement their views for all to see and expose you more.

But YAY for the ones who’s eyes are opened because they heeded the Holy Spirit’s waring and ran away from you as fast as their legs can carry them.

  • Ivin

Well, I hope you had fun. Have a nice day Deborah. God bless you.

  • Discerning The World

Why are you two faced and end with a ‘God Bless you’ when you know full well you do not mean this.

  • Ivin

I am aware of the futility of attempting Christian dialogue with members of the Occult such as Ivin, but I scanned this posting and was simply compelled to make a few comments in passing. These snippets were simply too ludicrous to ignore.

There are many other incredible statements in Ivin’s postings which are similarly indicative of a terribly false gospel and teaching. In retrospect, this is probably one of the instances in which it would be reasonably accurate and within Christian boundaries to dismiss Ivin’s gospel in it’s entirety on grounds of it’s inherent evil. It is original deception with it’s most deviant modern Word Faith gospel face.

“Discerning the world” is like a “watchman” blog that speaks against revival, everyone doing something for God and who are bearing fruit. She spoke against Lakeland, CFC, David Hogan, me and even Angus Buchan.

I think Ivin missed a word in a few places, which, had he employed it, would have made this statement of his true. It should read:
“Discerning the world” is like a “watchman” blog that speaks against false revival, everyone doing something for a false God and who are bearing false fruit. She correctly spoke against Lakeland, CFC, David Hogan, me and even Angus Buchan.

Deborah, I am careful to prophesy,…

I would advise Ivin to exercise far more care than he does, as he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about regarding Biblical prophecy and the punishment for doing what he does and wishes to pass of as prophecy. I have no doubt that Ivin hears voices in the weather, but they are not from God. I doubt very strongly that Ivin would want to be known as a prophet, if he finds out what the fate of Biblical prophets was.

    Finally, Deborah, You should really spend more time preaching the Gospel, which my site is dedicated to;

No Christian should spend any time with the false gospel preached by the Occult, which Ivin’s posting is dedicated to.

heal the sick, raise the dead etc…”

This instruction is not in the Holy Bible, so where is it and why should a Christian want to do these things? This sounds like it could be Voodoo, Ivin. Have you actually raised a zombie? In Jo’burg?

and busy setting up a Revival College

The Holy Bible clearly teaches, in so many places, that there is a great falling away taking place today, certainly not a revival. The Occult, however, has experienced phenomenal growth throughout modern times. Is this the revival of the Occult to be taught at Ivin’s College, as it cannot be a Christian revival. If it is to be an Occult College, I have no doubt that Ivin will meet with much financial success.

but if I let reviews and posts like yours thwart what I do

If Christians can thwart what Ivin does, it would be an Evangelical triumph. Unfortunately, Ivin would lose money and fame, but he might gain salvation, as would those he would have led astray.

Too many people are dying and going to hell.

Ivin, YOU said it yourself, so why don’t you stop helping them into hell? If you preached the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus to ONE person, doesn’t have to be thousands, only ONE, you would have done better than anything you are planning or preaching.

I notice that the dates of the postings above are from 2009. Is Ivin still preaching the false gospel, or has he come to know the Jesus Christ of the Bible? Anyone know?

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Unfortunately Ivin is still preaching his false gospel. I must say though that after my posting he sent out an email to everyone on his email list (including me) and told them to come to my website and stand up for him. No one did. Says a lot for his followers. He also stopped sending out daily emails- reduced to a couple since 2009. His traffic took adive as well and people contacted me and thanked me for exposing him.

And since 2009 his prophecy has not come true as his god told him these atrocities would take place within a few months. It seems his track record does indeed speak for itself.

You said, “The Holy Bible clearly teaches, in so many places, that there is a great falling away taking place today, certainly not a revival. The Occult, however, has experienced phenomenal growth throughout modern times.”

    This is so well said.

Oh wow Bunnytrails …..So there is a connection between Johan van Wyk and Ivin Viljoen. Debs thank for the info!!

  • Shalom Brother,

    (sorry für my english)

the (spiritual) world is smaller we think. The false doctrines are the same worldwide. South Africa seams spiritual confused as we in Germany – and the rest of the small planet. There are MANY false spirits – MANY (1. John 4,1).

Offtopic: It seams you have the holy spirit right. TULIP is a horrible doctrine. Especially the P!!! Its good, that you have here a clear biblical view ! The P of TULIP will lead many many souls to hell. This ist bad and very bad, that so called “biblical teacher” are 1-Point Calvinist. Second the pseudo-charismatic wolfes … and so on. The whole world seams to be crazy in every way.

I wish you every blessing God the Allmighty can give you on the last days on earth and be filled with the holy spirit to divide the false teachers and false doctrines.

“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” Mat 25,10

False prophets are relatively easy to discern if you have integrity in your faith…liars are definitely not messengers from a holy and righteous God…Benny Hinn tells blatant lies…so does Joyce Meyer…Angus Buchan too…statements in his book “Faith Like Potatoes” contain blatant untruths…Kim Clement is an absolute charlatan and heretic of note…you can go on and on.

  • Elmarie A

Yes and the list is growing longer and longer and the Universities have Professors deceiving the Young people and that is sad.
This is what is taught at at the University of Pretoria the Department of Theology:
Two points ferociously made by Spangenberg: the Bible is not the inspired Word of God and the Gospels (Matthew through Luke) are fake writings and fake accounts of the actual events.

My point is these kind of teachings straight from hell must be happening world wide and the new generation are being blinded and deceived by what they are taught by false teachers and false prophets. Not to mention that children still at school are taught Interfaith as a subject that lays the perfect foundation for the One World Religion coming. This curriculum was implemented in SA by department of Education in 2005 already.

Micheal a question to you, is it really that easy to discern for all ? What about the coming generation? Will they be able to discern when blinded and lied to from a young age by False prophets and False Teachers ?

  • All these false groups state a revival is coming when the Bible warns us of the great falling away which there is endless evidence of now. The celebration of Catholic saints who followed a false gospel speaks for itself. What is interesting is this one called for an Inquisition:

I believe the Emergent and false Pentecostal and Charismatic movement definitely has been conducted via Rome behind the scenes.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Oh indeed. They ALL approve of Catholicism or their doctrines roots are interwoven with Catholicism. Worst is many blogs that I used to follow who opposed the WoF movement and seemed ok are turning out to be not ok at all as they have links to early church fathers. When I question them on this my comments are deleted. They don’t even give me 1 comment’s grace. And when you study their writing you realise that staunch Calvinism prevails – so one day when you wake up and find yourself a reprobate (as decided by them) don’t be too shocked.

Once upon a time I had Emergents compare born again Christians to that of Inquisitors in the Inquisitions (hence their notion that we are lower than scum).

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Oh Michael, thank you. I pray that things for you in Germany are better than hear in SA. I know that Europe is totally starved of Christianity – how difficult is it for you to find genuine Christians there?

Good news is Jesus is coming back soon to take us home!

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

That link you posted. Is it the right one calling for an Inquisition? Cos I read it and it’s about Francis Xavier.

  • Michael

Micheal a question to you, is it really that easy to discern for all ? What about the coming generation? Will they be able to discern when blinded and lied to from a young age by False prophets and False Teachers ?

Perhaps you are right…probably a bit glib when I remarked the above.
As a young man I was fooled by the charismatics but there again they were not as extreme as the word faith movement…they tended to preach the gospel of redemption but things started to change when the prosperity doctrine started to infiltrate the main stream …Kenneth O’Hagan, Oral Roberts, Gerry Saville to mention a few.
I started to realise there was something very wrong here when the lying became apparent…ie when statements that were made that just were not true.
What I really meant is that a man of God …a messenger of God does not tell lies.We live now in a world that is bedevilled with is riddled with it …presidents are men of very low integrity, leaders in the churches are also contaminated with deception…the greed factor blinds the flesh…need I say more.

  • Elmarie A

leaders in the churches are also contaminated with deception…the greed factor blinds the flesh…need I say more.

Nope you said it. Deception and greed has indeed taken hold of the leaders in the churches.

  • Francis Xavier supported an Inquisition, and called for one in Goa. {I was pointing out they were celebrating him on the site talked about in your blog entry. This Generation 20 group wrote an article celebrating the guy who did THIS:

St. Francis Xavier who requested the Inquisition in 1545. The Goa Inquisition was the office of the Inquisition acting in the Indian state of Goa

Oh Deceivers will call you Inquisitioners, etc. It’s happened to me just for pointing out false teachers. Right now I am being called a Ruckmanite for not supporting false Messianic teachings that claim Christians never had the true scriptures {I read the KJV}. That is being said even though I fully renounce and reject Ruckmans many false teachings including the denial of the divinity of Jesus Christ.

    You are right about the boards that expose one thing but then bring in other errors, I have seen those blogs too. I used to visit Slice of Laodicea and got banned for pointing out that one favorite website, Walter Martin’s daughter [the guy who wrote Kingdom of Cults] basically advanced Catholicism. I saw odd, Catholic baggage on that website too…{didnt get a chance to comment on your thread regarding that subject}

It’s something to be very wary of out there. There are websites who will warn of Roman Catholicism but bring in Ruckmanism, False Jewish Traditions stuff–think Jacob Prasch–Hebrews Roots.

Deborah, I do want to ask you take a look at my Calvary Chapel threads on my blog too.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Ahhhhhh ok. I got it. *bit slow lately* lol

I will check it out tonight.

  • Michael

“how difficult is it for you to find genuine Christians there?”

Its almost impossible. The most “genuine Christians” in Germany are 1-Point Calvinists and/or Darbysts. Because they will lead also brothers to hell with this false doctrine – I can and will not go to them. And than there are very very less genuine Christians ! Only through the internet I know from less normal Christians.

In Reality its realy like Jesus said:

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12,32”

We are a little flock, but we are IN Christ and in HIS truth and of us is the kingdom. Most “Christians” are outside this kingdom.

  • Ivin

Hello Deborah, I don’t know what to say to you. My ministry is aimed at souls, saving it and nothing else. If you look at 220, it comes from Galatians 220 which reads ” I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”. That IS my focus and absolutely nothing else. If you have taken time to read any of my other stuff besides this specific prophecy, you would really have a different view of my ministry. You also really need to get your facts straight; I have worked for Johan for 1 and a half year as youth pastor, I left after that for numerous reasons that has nothing to do with you. I went back to my home Church where I have been humbly serving since end of 2007. The website is aimed at one thing, getting young people closer to God. I haven’t been to Solid Rock or spoken to Johan van Wyk since then.
I have also never worked for or been affiliated to Kobus van Rensburg, I went there a couple times until God specifically told me not to go there again. You would know that if you read the book properly and not just scrolled the content of the book with your mouse looking for something to criticize.
I haven’t spoken to Doug Perry since my book came out in 2008 and Andrew Strom has a chapter in my book because the article is applicable to the application of the book. Besides getting permission from him for the use and perhaps a recommendation for the site, which he refused b.t.w, we never spoke. I hardly think he knows my name. So, once again you had done some bad research. I have since been submitting myself to more reputable leaders but I cannot disclose them to you since you have this inclination to drag everyone’s name through the mud if they’re not Deborah or her two or three “agreement buddies”.
You bring down people like Angus Buchan and Smith Wigglesworth which clearly shows your character. You think you have the gift to discernment confusing it with the gift to criticize. The gift of discernment is described in the Bible as “between true and false spirits” – not people. You are causing the Body of Christ great harm.
I never took quotes of Angus from your blog, I took them from the source, which I believe was the Beeld, Rapport etc. I didn’t quote you, I quoted the original. I have enough newspapers in my office coming in daily so I don’t need to run to your blog for a quote.
I told you, the reason you don’t get my articles is because I deleted you from my list. You exist to criticize and like I said Matthew 7:6.
If anybody says anything in the way of commenting except what you think is going to strengthen your article, you don’t post it and brush it off as insults. You like posting insults at other people but don’t like others posting it to you. Anyone reading this: Please note that Deborah does not allow objective commenting.  Therefore, how can her blog hold any water, authority or anything else. She is a lone ranger in a field, enemy of the cross (Phil 3:18). The only reason her blog ranks so high and get’s so many hits is because she writes sensational articles about whatever is hot in the international news at the moment, doesn’t have to really be anything to do with Church. She thrives on watching her Google Analytics report and watching her destroy other people’s ministries.  As seen on her sites left hand side she has numerous entries to blog promoting sites which helps her with her 650 “views” per day. Remember, it is “views” – not original visitors. Meaning people just click, click, click because they cannot believe the nonsense they are reading.  She has nothing better to do.
As for Grants comment, you don’t know anything about me brother. You have, like Deborah, taken one article and blown it completely out of proportion – adding to it people and instances where they are in no way related.
And also, Grant, the Scripture of healing the sick etc is in Matthew 10:8. You sir, and anyone else in this commenting on this blog are clearly not in the fellowship of the saints. And you sir, don’t know the Bible. Otherwise you wouldn’t be so confident to say that it isn’t.
As for your comment on the College, we haven’t actually opened the College. So I don’t know what financial success you’re talking about.
I don’t know where you guys get that I am famous, successful or financially prosperous. I don’t have a ministry, besides the site perhaps where I have put up videos, games, cartoons etc from a lot of different sources to give young people an alternative from all the other junk in the world/internet.   I also don’t make any money… I work in a advertising company for a small pay, I am a tent maker, working a job in the week and doing hardly any ministry at all. The only ministry I actually do is hand out food to people who are hungry and give the guys standing on the corner with pick n pay advertising boards around their necks some orangejuice to drink. That, my friends, is all ministry I do.
No Elmarie, like I said in my original response, I am not affiliated or associated with Johan van Wyk – he actually excommunicated me. We have hardly spoken since 2007, which you would know if your read the article properly. So, don’t grab at straws.
Biblebeliever: The article you mentioned is about Francis Xavier and the tremendous work he has done as a missionary. You guys have no respect for anybody, pulling apart even those that have died, now without the ability to defend themselves.   And… once again you have your facts wrong, just like everybody else. I didn’t write that article, it was sourced from another site.

Really tho, look at who comments on her blog, Deborah, newcommer, Deborah, Deborah, Deborah, Elmarie, newcommer, Deborah, newcommer, Deborah, Elmarie, Deborah, Elmarie. Quite a fan club. What would Deborah be without her # fan Elmarie and the help of her blog promo postings.
This blog has and should carry no credibility or authority… and it doesn’t. It’s a bunch of nonsense. I mean they criticize the One Goal movement for “whatever” when all they wanna do is create awareness and help people and make countries their goal education for all Africans: What is wrong with that?
Discerning the world is actually what it is, it should actually be called Criticizing everything.
Grant mentions and Criticizes my “posting(S)” when he hasn’t read any of it. C’mon people really?
See, Deborah, just like the lady that took Johan to the ASA you have a personal vendetta. It is clear because like her, you keep on posting/complaining about the same stuff. She has been doing this (complaining about Johan) five times in the last couple years. Was it really necessary to post this article  – again? If you call Johan and ask him he will tell you that we are so far from associated that we hardly speak, if at all. He will tell you that himself. You obviously have the cat at its tail.
Tell you what, why don’t you take of this article and ask the other lists on the internet where this is posted to also remove it because you are costing me everything I have ever worked for. I am NOT in full time ministry and I DO NOT have a Church so you’re targeting me is uncalled for. It is running not only my reputation for ministry (which doesn’t exist), but you are now attacking my character and that is becoming illegal.
Have those posts removed or I may just take legal action. It’s clear that none of you commenting here know me or know what you’re talking about as you’re facts are all unsubstantiated. It’s not a threat, I am just sick and tired of your personal vendetta.
I have spent too much time commenting on this article so don’t expect more comments from me. I’ve wasted enough of my time…

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Oh blablabla yadayadayada. Did your prophecy come true all 5 atrocities a few months later??? Or does God lie? I know my God NEVER lies, but I do now of a god who lies a lot.

What would Deborah be without her # fan Elmarie and the help of her blog promo postings

Ivan you just make me smile :-)  You have no idea what the truth is.

“How can I recognize a false teacher / false prophet?”

Answer: Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). The best way to guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers is to know the truth. To spot a counterfeit, study the real thing. Any believer who “correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) and who makes a careful study of the Bible can identify false doctrine. For example, a believer who has read the activities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 3:16-17 will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity. Therefore, step one is to study the Bible and judge all teaching by what the Scripture says.

Jesus said “a tree is recognized by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching:

    1) What does this teacher say about Jesus? In Matthew 16:15-16, Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answers, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware of anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ sacrificial death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.”

    2) Does this teacher preach the gospel? The gospel is defined as the good news concerning Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). As nice as they sound, the statements “God loves you,” “God wants us to feed the hungry,” and “God wants you to be wealthy” are not the complete message of the gospel. As Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” No one, not even a great preacher, has the right to change the message that God gave us. “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Galatians 1:9).

    3) Does this teacher exhibit character qualities that glorify the Lord? Speaking of false teachers, Jude 11 says, “They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.” In other words, a false teacher can be known by his pride (Cain’s rejection of God’s plan), greed (Balaam’s prophesying for money), and rebellion (Korah’s promotion of himself over Moses). Jesus said to beware of such people and that we would know them by their fruits (Matthew 7:15-20).

For further study, review those books of the Bible that were written specifically to combat false teaching within the church: Galatians, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, and Jude. It is often difficult to spot a false teacher/false prophet. Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his ministers masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15). Only by being thoroughly familiar with the truth will we be able to recognize a counterfeit.
Question: “Should Christians judge the teachings of their leaders?”

Answer: As Christians, we are commanded against following teachers blindly, but are told rather to “Test everything; hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The apostle Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2:1-3 that there will be false teachers in our day just as there were false teachers in his day. Among their false teachings is a denial of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross to take away sin, which is a common theme among cultists today. Another characteristic of false teachers is the greed which motivates them in everything they do. Paul offers a similar warning to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20:29-31, calling the false teachers “savage wolves” who mercilessly attempt to destroy the faith of the sheep and draw them away from the Shepherd. Paul warned them continually, pleading with them night and day to be on their guard against such deceivers.

From these passages, we see clearly that we are to distinguish between true and false teachers. How then are we to do that? First, as Paul instructs the Ephesians, we are to “no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming” (Ephesians 4:14). Rather, we are to “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” and we do this by “the knowledge of the Son of God” (v. 13). The knowledge of Christ can only be obtained through the Word of God, and it is by that Word that we distinguish between the true and the false.

In Matthew 7:15-20, Jesus offers some critical advice in discerning who is a false prophet: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruits you will recognize them.” Plainly stated, is the teacher’s life marked by a progressive conformity to the likeness of Christ? Is the teacher bearing the fruits of the Spirit? Just as only good trees produce good fruit, so do only true teachers of Christ display the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), whereas false prophets and teachers display the acts of their sinful natures (Galatians 5:19-22). By these fruits, we recognize true and false teachers.

Secondly, does the teaching that is being presented conform to the message as proclaimed by the early church and the Apostles? As Paul writes to the church in Galatia: “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” These are harsh words indeed that Paul has for the false teachers, but eternal condemnation is what they store up for themselves until the day of God’s wrath (Romans 2:5-6).

The apostle John tells us in his first epistle (1 John 4:1-6) how we are to discern which spirits are from God. “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.”

It is of utmost importance that Christians are well-grounded in the Scriptures so that they are able to discern which teachers speak from God and which are false in their proclamation. Only then can we reject what is false and “hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

like I said in my original response, I am not affiliated or associated with Johan van Wyk – he actually excommunicated me. We have hardly spoken since 2007, which you would know if your read the article properly. So, don’t grab at straws.

Question: “What does the Bible say about church discipline / excommunication?”

Answer: Excommunication is the formal removal of an individual from church membership and the informal separation from that individual. Matthew 18:15-20 gives the procedure and authority for a church to do this. It instructs us that one individual (usually the offended party) is to go to the offending individual. If he/she does not repent, then two or three go to confirm the situation and the refusal to repent. If there is still no repentance, it is taken before the church. This process is never “desirable,” just as a father never delights in having to discipline his children. Often, though, it is necessary. The purpose is not to be mean-spirited or to display a “holier than thou” attitude. Rather, the goal is the restoration of the individual to full fellowship with both God and other believers. It is to be done in love toward the individual, in obedience and honor to God, and in godly fear for the sake of others in the church.

The Bible gives an example of the necessity of excommunication in a local church—the church at the city of Corinth (1 Corinthians 5:1-13). In this passage, the apostle Paul also gives some purposes behind the biblical use of excommunication. One reason (not directly found in the passage) is for the sake of the testimony of Christ Jesus (and His church) before unbelievers. When David sinned with Bathsheba, one of the consequences of his sin was that the name of the one true God was blasphemed by God’s enemies (2 Samuel 12:14). A second reason is that sin is like a cancer; if allowed to exist, it spreads to those nearby in the same way that “a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough” (1 Corinthians 5:6-7). Also, Paul explains that Jesus saved us so that we might be set apart from sin, that we might be “unleavened” or free from that which causes spiritual decay (1 Corinthians 5:7-8). Christ’s desire for His bride, the church, is that she might be pure and undefiled (Ephesians 5:25-27).

Excommunication is also for the long-term welfare of the one being disciplined by the church. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 5:5, states that excommunication is a way of delivering the unrepentant sinner “over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.” This means that excommunication can somehow involve God’s using Satan (or one of his demons) as a disciplinary tool to work in the sinner’s life physically to bring about true repentance in his/her heart.

Hopefully the disciplinary action of the church is successful in bringing about godly sorrow and true repentance. When this occurs, the individual can be restored to fellowship. The man involved in the 1 Corinthians 5 passage repented, and Paul encouraged the church to restore him to fellowship with the church (2 Corinthians 2:5-8). Unfortunately, disciplinary action, even when done in love and in the correct manner, is not always successful in bringing about such restoration. But even when church discipline fails to achieve its goal of bringing repentance, it is still needed to accomplish the other good purposes mentioned above.

We have all likely witnessed the behavior of a young boy who has been allowed to do as he pleases with no consistent discipline. It is not a pretty sight. Nor is such parenting loving, for it dooms the child to a dismal future. Such behavior will keep the child from forming meaningful relationships and performing well in any kind of setting. Similarly, discipline in the church, while never enjoyable or easy, is not only necessary, but loving as well. Moreover, it is commanded by God.

I wont post all the names of people you honor on your website. I will just pick the names of those whom we know here are  obviously false teacher.

I saw this page on your website:

This is just to honor all the men of God who embraced technology and produced material for the Kingdom and revival, whether it be a book, article, song or message.

Derek Prince, John Hagee, Oral Roberts, Todd Bentley and Fresh Fire USA,
    Chuck Swindell,

These people aboves names  stand out as false teachers and prophets take heed please . I have found this wonderful expose post on a huge website called It is one of the biggest Christian websites that is safe to use if one is a discerning christian. For now lets look at Tod Bentley This is what they had to WARN about Todd Bentley and his movement:

Is the Lakeland, Florida revival led by Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries a true biblical revival?
Note – At, we typically do not write articles about specific individuals and/or ministries. Our goal is to provide quality, biblically-based answers so that people will be able to evaluate teachers / ministries for themselves. However, in recent months, we have been receiving a deluge of questions about Todd Bentley and the revival in Lakeland, Florida. We are in no sense doubting that God could use a man like Todd Bentley in powerful ways. We have no doubt that God is performing miracles in the world today. At the same time, there are enough warning signs about Todd Bentley that we are very concerned about the legitimacy of his ministry. As always, compare what is taught with Scripture, and reject anything that does not agree with God’s Word. Our concern is not Todd Bentley’s tattoos, piercings, or unusual methods. Rather, our concern is that many of his teachings, and actions, are not biblical.

Question: “Is the Lakeland, Florida revival led by Todd Bentley of Fresh Fire Ministries a true biblical revival?”

Answer: Todd Bentley (born 1976), the leader of the 2008 Lakeland, Florida “Healing Revival,” is a Canadian-born ex-convict (convicted of multiple counts of sexual assault prior to his “conversion”) turned itinerant mass evangelist who leads “Fresh Fire Ministries” of Abbotsford, British Columbia. Bentley’s website advertises, “Todd travels throughout North America, sparking revival fire and equipping the body in power evangelism and healing ministry.”

Todd Bentley’s 2008 Lakeland, Florida “Healing Revival” promoted by self-proclaimed prophet Bob Jones (no connection to Bob Jones University), William Branham (a proponent of a racist-hate doctrine called “serpent seed“), IHOP-KC (International House of Prayer), and other charismatic ministries. MSNBC reported in May 2008, “The meetings have outgrown four venues, including a local convention center that seats roughly 7,000. Now they meet under an air-conditioned tent that can accommodate 10,000 on the grounds of the local airport. Organizers estimate that more than 140,000 people from at least 40 nations have attended meetings here.”

The focus of Bentley’s revivals is primarily on the manifestation of sign gifts, claiming an ability to generate oil from his palms and to produce gold dust from his pores. Though neither of these gifts correlates to any biblical sign gift or event, Bentley and his followers claim that it is biblical on the basis of John 14:12, in which Christ says, “He that believes on Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father.” This passage is taken out of context when thus applied, however. Jesus did not mean greater works in power, but in extent. They would become witnesses to all the world through the power of the indwelling and infilling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and would bring many to salvation because of the Comforter dwelling in them. The focus is on spiritual rather than physical miracles. To equate the life-changing impact the Spirit-empowered disciples had on the world to gold dust from one’s pores is ludicrous.

Among Bentley’s teachings which set him apart from orthodox evangelical Christianity is astral travelling (the practice of leaving one’s body and travelling about disembodied) – see

. He also practices necromancy (channeling and communicating with the dead) despite the Bible’s prohibitions of that practice (Isaiah 8:19-20; Deuteronomy 18:9-12; Leviticus 20:6). In one of his revival meetings, Bentley announced that God told him it was more important for him to “get them to believe in the angel” who visits him, whom he calls Emma, than to preach Jesus. Further, he claims to be guided by female “angels of finance.” Bentley attributes even his conversion experience to his “angel.” Critics of Bentley have published their observation that Emma-o is the name of a Japanese deity who rules the underworld in Japanese mythology, after which, Bentley removed all references to “the angel Emma” from his websites.

Todd Bentley’s ministry website states that he places “no limit on further revelation.” Note that the Bible is the revelation of God and the primary way He communicates with His people. For Bentley to put himself on the same level as the biblical prophets (Elijah, Isaiah, John, etc.) is to claim that the Bible is insufficient revelation, that more is needed. Where personal revelation outside the Bible does occur—for instance, in places where the written Word is unavailable—if it is truly from God, it will not contradict Scripture.

Clearly, Todd Bentley is in contact with spirits of some kind. But what kind of spirits are they? All true believers are in contact with God’s Holy Spirit who dwells within us from the time of our conversion to Christ. Jesus told us that He would send the Spirit to us to “lead us into all truth” (John 16:13). If all truth is available through God’s Holy Spirit and His Word, the Bible, why would God send other spirits to speak to us? He wouldn’t and He doesn’t. John 4:1-3 warns, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (NASB). See also 1 Thessalonians 5:21, “Test everything; hold fast what is good” (NASB).

Bentley, who in order to add to the power of his testimony had demonic tattoos etched onto his arms in 2005, about eight years AFTER his “conversion,” see –

, fails such tests. As Matthew 24:24 warns, “False Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.” False prophets are always in the employ of Satan, whether knowingly or unknowingly, who “walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Jesus warned about the profusion of false prophets in the last days: “And many false prophets will rise and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11). Do not be deceived by Todd Bentley.

I also found this on Ivan’s website and it just made me cringe. Read for yourselves and decide if this is Biblical.
I have looked in the Bible an could not find any of the prophesies in the word as Kim Clement claims. It could not be found in the Word because it is FALSE PROPHECIES .

Here are the various prophecies regarding this generation that not only makes me believe it’s coming upon us, but also that it IS gonna happen. There’s a revival coming in South Africa and lots of it is going to be involving young people.

“God says I declare unity within four portions of the body of Christ and this will cause a generation of young people to arise and declare war against the savages of this nation”. Kim Clement. 21 April 2007. Humble Texas.

“The Spirit of God said, a generation of young men and women are ready to be raised up, that’s why the enemy would take them out of your womb, that’s why the enemy would try and steal from the womb from a young age the children of this day. But I say to you this night that if the enemy would do this to you, then I will pay you back with multiplication. Because he has come on illegal terms and taken what is rightfully Mine,…” Kim Clement. 21 May 2007 Detroit Michigan.

8 Joly 2007. Pasadena California.

“Something is about to be unveiled throughout the earth, for a far greater glory that is about to be released. God is saying you are about to do something that has never ever happened before. There is a generation that is saying we want to do something that our forefathers never did, something that the disciples never did, we want to do something that the great cloud of witnesses never did. And the Spirit of God said the faith that is coming forth from the nations and the hunger that is crying out for something different will allow me to unlock something that will cause you to do something that has never ever happened before. Get ready, for it is about to take place and the evacuation of the religious says the Lord” Kim Clement. 5 August 2007. Beverly hills California.

Are you hearing the word of the Lord? The veil has been rent. Men and women who once were blind but now they will see. Young men and young women shall say I want to go to church. A generation is being raised up that will say, I want to go to church. Is this wishful thinking? No, for now I speak not as K.C. but I speak from the heart of J.C., this is the word of the Lord. God said get excited, be filled with anticipation”. Kim// Clement. 19 January 2008. Portland Oregon

“God said, you prophesied to a generation that were yet to be born, that would praise His name. And God said, those have been born and they shall say, we cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord said there is a revival of anticipation, inspiration, but God said if you just get anticipation to a higher point you will draw Me into your place of refuge, says the Lord, and together we will bring the miraculous into your homes and into your lives says the Lord.
I cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord! I cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord!

Somebody said out there, how could this be possible, why would you come and prophesy to us? Because you know why? I see a bunch of dead bones, not here, but throughout our youth, this generation. And God said if you begin to prophesy to the dead bones, I will make a mighty army out of them but you’re got to prophesy: I cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord! I cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord!

We prophesy to the dead bones in the valley of dry bones. We prophesy that you are inspired: I cannot wait to go to the house of the Lord!” Kim Clement. 2 May2008. Orlando Florida.

“This has never ever happened before! I see forces that have been exalted being brought down to hell. Let the high praise of God come forth. Hell itself is hearing a sound that is causing them to say “just when we thought we had a bunch of people put together, quiet – that had no clue.” But now there is a new generation that are rising up, prophets that will drive every demonic power out of those who wage war at the top. (“What are we going to do? We have to surrender because there is the sound of the blood of Christ that we can hear.”) I prophesy to those that are high up in high places, you have kept them for too long. Now God says, they are mine, these warriors. I prophesy! We prophesy to dead bones, we prophesy to dead bones: you shall live, you shall live!” Kim Clement. 25 May 2008. Detroit Michigan. 2008

“God’s Spirit says beckon the prophetic, beckon the prophetic, beckon it, beckon the prophets to come, beckon to them. There is a Macedonian call, there is a call from young men , young women “come to us” and yet we have said to them “you come to us.” God said a barrier that has been between one generation and another is being broken. No statistics. A very unusual thing that will happen in this nation and many nations where the barriers between generations will be broken, and young and old shall stand together. Lion will lay next to the lamb. There shall be an unusual merging of young and old for they shall make declaration: we have waited too long” Kim Clement. 30 May 2008. Wilkesboro. North Carlolina. , 24 October

“The Spirit of the Lord is prophesying to us now that a generation are about to arise in this country, young men, young ladies, children, white, yellow, black. They, they, they will arise, break down the system. They are not tainted by the wickedness of an unholy priesthood. They will arise. They will praise Him. They will fight with the sword of the Lord they will overcome for America” Kim Clement. 9 August. Lancaster California.

“The Spirit of God says, abortion has come before Me as a stench. Who would command the taking of the future? Who would command the taking of the future? God says, this is My will: the will of life, whether in the womb or outside of the womb. It is My will for life. And God says, I will change the laws because of some of the acts that I will do. But this stench demands My return to bring life in a double portion upon the children of this generation, says the Lord” Kim Clement. Huntsville Texas.

“This generation will rise up with a double portion of the anointing of the Holy Ghost” – Marc Bredencamp.

“This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face,…” Psalm 24:6.
“To this generation of young people, you are the house of Jacob. Those you bore will be the house of Joseph, this is your flame. I have changed your name from the former because you contend with me, and have power with me.
On Mount Zion there is deliverance for the escapees, this is a holy mountain. You will receive restored to you that which has been taken from you. The deliverers will go up there to rule and judge your oppressors and the thieves.
The Kingdom and its Kingship is the Lords. You have been redeemed and and paid for with a high ransom, you too are called by my name, you are the Lords.

The Fire will not burn you nor will the flame kindle you, but yes, you will go through fire.
I am your Holy Savior; I give your past up as a ransom, and your lack in exchange for your release. You are a captive no more. Rejoice! Rejoice! You are precious and honored in my sight. I am with you so don’t fear. I am rebuking your oppressors.

I call you all from the North and from the South, created and called for my Glory. You are my witnesses; chosen servants to know me as your Father and to remain with me, understanding who I AM and that there will be none after me. I am the Lord and no other Savior exists.

I will declare to you the future and save you from danger., this you will witness. No one will stop the work I am doing in you. Forget what you know or have seen before, I am doing a new thing: restoring power and making a way out of the wilderness.

I created you for my praise, why do the wicked?? You have no honored me with faithfulness or offerings. Out of you I will raise a generation that will take the land and rebuild the cities.

I have searched the hearts of your elders and the clergy for generations and I have found them lacking. I will pour out my Spirit afresh in measures never known and my power in you exceedingly. For they don’t hunger, but I see your thirst, searching my ways and my face.

I remove those who violate you. Key leaders, men and heads of prominent families and provinces will come from you.
They have gloated on your sufferings, misfortune, lack, distress, calamity and ruin.their pride I will return to them. Edom knew my holiness but shall be destroyed to stubble. Their land shall be possessed.
Don’t rejoice in this, for the broken fellowship will be restored. Generations will return to each other by restoring these broken relationships” – Ivin Viljoen

“It is my belief that as a result of the coming move, God will bring about a Christian “explosion” of music and color in the arts and the secular media that will rival that of the sixties. But the results will be very different.
A new sound that is utterly glorifying to God will sweep the earth, with an impact of at least as great as that of the Beatles and their cohorts.

We will very quickly take back ground that we have been losing for the last thirty years. And secular media will be a vital ingredient in this media war.

The “street Church” with its “street leaders” will invade the living rooms of the world with God’s message. This will not cost the earth. The media themselves will gladly foot this bill, just to be allowed to report what god is doing.
I tell you, when this “new music” arises, watch and see how fast this occurs. The media will be falling all over themselves to be par of it. Do will indeed “change the understanding and expression of Christianity IN THE EARTH in one generation”

The street revival will become a media revival. When you think about it,this may be the best way that the youth of the West can be reached en masse today. But how humble the new leaders will need to be to cope with the pressures that will come with this” – Andrew Strom.

“We have spoken before about the coming “street Church” movement, where thousands will gather in the streets, miracles and anointed repentance preaching will occur daily, and the “cathedrals” will be abandoned in favor of gathering of the saints “from house to house” , just like in the book of Acts.

I believe very strongly that the leaders of this movements will be street types, men and women who may appear a little “rough and ready” but who will have a tremdous hearty after God.
This is the kind of leadership that god will promise will arise. These will be the new apostles, prophets and evangelists etc that must arise to form a foundation for the new move of God” Andrew Strom.

“I believe people who are really gifted with audio, digital and visual skills will be crucial members of God’s “commando army” in the coming media war.” Andrew Strom “The Ned Flanders Syndrome.
Young people have an awesome calling on their lives: to take very valuable ground from the enemy by simply infiltrating it, absolve themselves from being lepers, knowing where the army’s coming from and pulling them out with a single Word from God; simply using the weapons available for our use today” – Ivin Viljoen.

“There will be a time when young people will take the spotlight from the clergy and noblemen and envy will break out in that camp” Ivin Viljoen.

“Behold my son, I have placed you in front of a door. Beyond this door is a field of harvest., sufficient for each crop is a storehouse. Pick up your sickle my son and sharpen your threshing instrument for the harvest is here!”
“This generation carries with it a calling and a promise with only one mission: To destroy the works of the devil. This is the Christ Generation! And God is calling this generation to arms! He’s calling this generation to fight! He’s calling this generation to shout! He’s calling this generation to preach! He’s calling this generation to prophesy! He is calling this generation to pray! He is calling this generation to die!” Ivin Viljoen.

“Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]! Hasten and come, all you nations round about, and assemble yourselves; there You, O Lord, will bring down Your mighty ones (Your warriors). Let the nations bestir themselves and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about” Joel :10-12.
“Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe:…” Joel 3:13.

It will be a worldwide situation, not local, a worldwide thrust of god’s power and god’s anointing on mankind” Smith Wigglesworth.

“This generation will not be ashamed to be identified as Christians No, they will be proud to carry that name. The young ones will not be shy to wear Christian T-shirts, wooden crosses, Christian jewelry, the Christian fish and other items will identify them as Christians. They will be proud of it” Johan van Wyk.

“Our task is to raise the John the Baptist generation. The Elishas, like Elijah raised Elisha, to make ready a people for the Lord” Johan van Wyk.

“…there is a whole generation about to be reached in a way that a generation has never been reached. Has it been said, could God save a nation in one day? There is a nation, a group of young men and women, sportsmen, athletes, actors, authors, preachers that I’m about to raise from nothing…” Kim Clement. December 3 2005. Tampa Florida.

    Messianic prophecy over South Africa

  • Elmarie A

Here is a WARNING for you about Kim Clement who is also a FALSE PROPHET.

Again taken from another discernment website that has allot of traffic and Exposes false teachings.

    Kim Clement’s ongoing prophetic Promises

Jeremiah 5:31 “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own power; and My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

We can know where we are in God’s timetable by what is taking place by those who claim to be a prophet. Does popularity mean one has God’s approval? Matthew 24:11-12: “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

Many will speak falsely, and will speak often. People will be severed from the word in the same way the Pharisees introduced their traditions to be practiced they will practice their words. The love of God’s word will be replaced by men’s words that claim to speak for Him. the people accept this so there love will become cold.

We have all heard the basis for the prophetic movement as Amos 3:7: “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets”

When we come to the New Testament, which is based on a new covenant, God says this is how he spoke to Israel in the past, not the church. Heb. 1:1-2: “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.”

The prophets linger to hear a voice tell them what will take place when they cannot see what “is” taking place. If a prophet does not know correctly the word already written, how can they hear from God a word that is a warning? Any word of prophecy the saints will exercise discernment to know the good from evil, the true from the false. (Heb.5:3; 1Jn.4:1-2).

Kim Clement is called a prophet, he never stops singing and yabbing his own prophetic utterances to the church, but the discerning church can tell when God has spoken and when He has not. Those who are familiar with the truth are immune to the falsity of words, but those who have been trained by these false prophets cannot tell the difference. Here are some excerpts of his newest spiritual contact )

“For the Spirit of God said those who shake their head and say no to a bribe, those who block their ears to the stories of bloodshed, those who close their eyes to evil, those who walk before the Lord with fear. These are emerging says the Lord, therefore, you will survive the fires, for there shall be fires that shall burn, and God said it shall be a sign. For surely there is a baptism coming to my people, a baptism of fire. Some will survive, some will not, but those who survive will revive and set fires and set ablaze and I will give you access says the Lord to territories that the world is waiting to access, but you will get it before the world gets it, says the Lord.

Clement seems to have connected this to Isa 33:14-15: “The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: “Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil:

The passage actually means the opposite of what Clement is saying. This has nothing to do with a baptism in the New Testament (in fact the baptism of fire is for unbelievers only, it is a judgment). this is typical of putting something together by piecemeal. In Clements statement we can agree that saying no to a bribe is good but is closing your eyes to evil or not hearing of bloodshed good? Are we to see and hear no evil or not participate in evil? A baptism of fire that destroys God’s people? [it is for unbelievers only] What is this man speaking? This is confusing since this has been promised by himself and others for years on end. Of course the end of the matter is dominionism for those who are baptized by this fire. We get it what the world wants before the world does. This is not how God speaks. The vagueness, the promises hardly bring credibility to these words as if they are from the same one who prophesied the Scripture.

“Four horns that suddenly got to be swiftly entangled, four horns, four attacks: north, south east west – they have come against my church. But the Spirit of God says I have raised up four carpenters; I have raised up four craftsman that will deal with these horns, even the horns of the altar, where they have brought displeasure to the Lord….

There are two different mentions of four horns in the Bible (Ezek. 43:20), one is on the altar the other is a prophecy of the enemy of Israel Zech.1:19: “These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.” 4 craftsmen – Zech. 1:20-21: Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen. And I said, “What are these coming to do?” So he said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.” So Clement is taking what is already mentioned in Scripture and as far as I can tell changing it. It is about Israel, not the church.

“Four anointings that deal with the four principalities shall be placed upon your children. Young men, the apostles and the prophets of tomorrow shall deal with the four principalities. God said, over the Christmas season I will send a sign to you. There will be a sign in the heavens; there will be a sign that shall come to the earth. I will show myself in a very strong way, yet invisible to the eye, and yet tangible to others, and these four principalities that have brought curses to the families of the United States, to the governing powers of the United States, to churches in this land and to the economy, the Spirit of God said these four are now being dealt with and annihilated says the Lord by the four anointings that I’m releasing upon you tonight says the Lord!

Have you seen a sign in the heavens? Maybe Cement is reading the gospel in the stars? Did it come to earth? I didn’t notice but then this is only for those with special vision. This is a promotion of the authority of man, the new government under the apostles and prophets that will supposedly have powers, and they are as off in their statements as Clement is.

There is only one anointing we should be concerned with, the Holy Spirit who is God, any other anointing is not God. And God’s anointing leads us into His truth. Four anointings are placed on the children that have four principles and he then tells us tomorrows prophets and apostles will deal with them? They are released on those present at the meeting. He then introduces curses which the New Testament says nothing about for the church. Again he jumps to another subject leaving this void of any real explanation. For the most part, the New Testament teaches principalities are not something good, they are (arche) the rank of powers. Eph. 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness.” Jesus’ crucifixion “disarmed principalities and powers” (Col. 2:15).

Clement has prophesied years before “The rulers, the rulers of the west. Principalities and powers that have held onto the treasures of God will suddenly be pierced and brought to nothing.” Have they?
He continues “The word I get is “severing” – He is severing the stronghold of the curses that have come by invitation, by forces in the political powers in the political arena, they have invited them.”

So according to God this whole takeover by the Democrats who are living true to their ideology is a curse by invitation! Hardly true if one knows what the progressive movement is about. But this is God speaking, so we will see if it comes true.

“In 2010 … Then there will be changes in the man’s heart, huge changes. There will be a turn to the true Christ, not the false Christ, not the false Christ, the true Christ!” (please read the whole prophesy to understand its implication)

Liberals will say “We are in danger; we are in danger of such a change. Even his countenance has changed, even his eyes have changed.”

Clement has also said before that the president will be converted in office, we can only hope so… however I think it will be a turn for the worse not the better. I see this completely different, I see no conversion happening but Clement is saying this is God speaking so will need to wait to see if it is? Not only will this portion be fulfilled but his whole discourse, if it is from God. It was not more than a few prophecies before that he said the president

Stepping back, in 1997 Clement said similar things about the president being converted “After the 20th, God says, look to the White House and see the events that are going to occur. … I’m about to go right to the top and when I get to the top I will literally change it… God says, there will be rivers coming down the steps and the people will say, what is happening in Washington, D.C.? What is happening in America? (Prophet Kim Clement July 27, 1997 Detroit Regional Meetings)

After this failed Clement responded to his former prophecies on a Born Again Christian President in The White House By 2000:“Somebody called the other day and said that I had prophesied that Bill Clinton would not be the president, that there’d be a new president. Well, I never said that, and I never prophesied that. I said the president of this, the final president of this century would be Spirit-filled, would be born-again and would be praying for this nation and lead them into the millennium with prayer. Well, you know, I got a letter from somebody saying, ‘Well, we all know that Bill Clinton’s not born again,’ and I say that the audacity of this religious spirit that would dare to take that judgment upon him and saying that he’s not born again. YOU KNOW, BY HIS FRUITS WE CAN SEE HE’S NOT, but we don’t know what’s going to happen to the man.”

Well what happened to the man? We now know clement was wrong and no wiggle room is allowed. Then in an Interview with Paul Crouch asked: “Also, let me ask you to repeat again: if I understood what you said, by the end of this century, the president, whoever he may be, is going to be born-again, Spirit-filled, and will be leading our nation in prayer. Now, did I understand that correctly?”

Kim Clement: “Absolutely, and I’ve said that all along, and I believe that with all my heart, and I’ve prophesied that and I’ll re-prophesy that if I have to tonight.”

Sorry but believing it with your heart does not mean it is from God or true. In fact God addresses this through
Jeremiah 23:25-26 prophets have said who prophesy lies …”How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart”

Clement goes further, stating that the system that has opposed the Lord – humanists, atheists, Islam (possibly Democrats?) etc. “The Spirit of God said I am listening to the rejoicing of my people for this nation has come to a place of intolerance of Christ because of the system that has misrepresented him. That system is being crippled says the Lord, annihilated.”

Again very vague, sounds like God’s people are rejoicing because “ this nation has come to a place of intolerance of Christ” It is the nation being crippled not those that are crippling her. And to say they will be annihilated strangely reminds me of Benny Hinn’s prophecy that in the mid 90’s, about ’94-’95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. – by fire (Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989). Seems the end of each year brings these ultimatum prophecies.

July 23, 1996 Clement prophesied: “A double portion of my Spirit shall be unveiled…There is a president that I am raising up, that I am putting my Spirit into. Many of you are saying, but why would that make any difference. Because right from the very top I will invade and I will dispense my Spirit. And I said I would let it trickle down to the senate and House of Representatives, to the mayors of the cities. I will cause them to say there is righteousness and your children will be born with my Spirit in them, the very moment that they breathe, says the Lord.”( GATHERING OF THE DANGEROUS).

Did any of this happen? The exact opposite happened in the Senate and house, anti God is the spirit that pervades. Has any child been born like John the Baptizer? He finishes the prophecy by “It will begin to change over the season. And the Lord says as you enter into 2010 I will restore everything that the canker worm has taken away, everything that the grasshopper has stolen from you, God said this restoration shall manifest quicker than before. Therefore rejoice tonight, you are my portion, says the Lord!”

Everything will be restored? Once again this was repeated: “everything that was stolen from the body of Christ in the last 20 years, is what I got, will be restored in the next 3 years in order to take the reigns for the year 2000….” (PTL – TBN), February 4, 1997

Clement repeats the same concepts year after year and people with a diminished capacity to remember eat it up as if it is new. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, and Clement can be occasionally right just as psychics can be occasionally right. This occasionally being right does not make him a prophet of God; in fact it proves the opposite. Before one jumps for joy and sings along with his merry tunes, they should consider God’s word that is ALWAYS correct, then they will not become part of this prophetic carousel that will lead them to disaster in the end.

Jeremiah told us of what the end would be as. Jer.23:20-22: “The anger of the LORD will not turn back against these false prophets until he has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings.”
We are in the latter days; do we understand it perfectly, unfortunately so do not understand it all.

Kim Clement Admits To False Prophecies

It’s the same old song and tap-dance

    by Bud Press, Director
    Christian Research Service
    July 28, 2010

Scenario: A man claims to be a prophet of God. After being caught in multiple false prophecies, he becomes offended, defensive, and all teary-eye when he receives “negative” feedback from Christians who apply the Biblical tests and expose him as a false prophet.
With a wink and a nod, the false prophet makes excuses, seeks sympathy from his followers, and goes to great lengths to twist Scripture to maintain his self-appointed position and following. He feeds his deep-seated pride and arrogance by rewriting and reinterpreting God’s written word. He leads his followers to a false god. His desire is to be the final authority–without question–despite what God’s word says.
It needs to be restated over and over again: Throughout the Bible, God has ZERO TOLERANCE for false prophets. There is no fellowship between God and false prophets (Deuteronomy chapter 13; Deuteronomy 18:20-22; Jeremiah 14:14; Jeremiah 23:31-32; Ezekiel 13:9; Matthew 7:21-23; 2 Peter 2:1).

False prophets are NOT members of the body of Christ, nor are they brothers and sisters in Christ. Every false prophet will have his or her day of reckoning with God at God’s appointed time (Matthew 7:21-23; Revelation 20:11-15).

Just as one cannot be a thief and a law abiding citizen at the same time, one cannot be a false and true prophet at the same time.

    Singing and dancing

Known as the “singing prophet,” Kim Clement is a self-proclaimed prophet of God who sings “new revelations” from God and tap-dances his way around false prophecies at the drop of a hat.

In the following paragraphs from an article titled, “Special Message,” note that Kim Clement’s admission to being a false prophet carries with it a subtle warning to his followers, as well as those who would dare speak a word against him:

I want you to have a good time and I want you to know something, that I am genuinely in love with God. I don’t have to tell you that, but I want you to know that I do. And there will also be critics that will be watching now because you don’t understand prophecy, and I understand that. Half the time I don’t even understand myself.

The Bible says we prophesy in part and when I prophesy, I prophesy what I hear.

“Kim, are you ever wrong?” Yes I am. So, if you’re out there to trick me or trip me up, you are wasting your time because I go to God three times a day and I pray. And if I’ve done something that may have misrepresented him I ask him to forgive me. If you don’t fully understand the prophecies it’s best that you don’t get up and try to pull me to pieces making out that I’m a false prophet. There’s a big difference between a false prophet and a true prophet. Now some of you and a lot of you wrote to me and you blessed me, and I thank you for that, but some of your wrote in with concerns that I said some things on this last broadcast where I prophesied from God which I will not apologize about, but I used some language. [June 24, 2010, , emp. added]

Amazing. Simply amazing. When a false prophet looks his audience in the eye and admits he is a false prophet, the long and winding deceptive train has arrived, belching its poisonous steam down the throats of the innocent.

    Decision time

Kim Clement is a prophet of God only because he says he is. He sings an incredibly deceptive siren’s song which, like the
Sirens in Greek mythology, he woos and sings to his followers, and becons them to crash their spiritual boats onto the rocky shore of destruction and death.

Kim Clement avoids the Biblical warnings on false prophets in favor of “new revelations from God” and what he claims to hear. But God’s written word judged Clement a false prophet the moment he uttered his first false prophecy. He downplays the very God he claims to worship, and tap-dances around God’s holy and instead word to his own destruction.

Kim Clement a false prophet. He is to be avoided at all costs.

And how can Christians recognize a false prophet?

Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). [ ]

Take your pick: Kim Clement or God.

Ivan has tweeted his post also

Just like the devil to attack someone while he’s on sabbatical.

You have touched a raw nerve here…the word faith hierarchy hates criticism and takes it personally. When you expose lies, deception, inconsistencies etc with them or their peers…you will get anger, threats and attacks because this is the flesh…puffed up with pride , arrogance and self-glorification. They are people pleasers and have their hero’s who they defend zealously instead of defending the biblical truths.

It is amazing that they can accomodate statements from Benny Hinn,Kim Clement etc that are blatantly untrue and believe that these men are annointed by God. God NEVER lies…indeed the whole being of a Holy God is pure righteousness, goodness, pureness and uttermost integrity. It is blasphemous to even entertain such thinking and beliefs that are contradictory to this.

  • Dominique

wow but you people are evil – you are trying to stop God

  • Grant C

My ministry is aimed at souls, saving it and nothing else.

You certainly cannot save a single soul, salvation is exclusively what Jesus does. You cannot claim to be Jesus and expect Christians to remain silent.
Act 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

If you have taken time to read any of my other stuff besides this specific prophecy

Here are two things: 1) If one piece written by yourself contains falsehoods, should a Christian read more by the same author? I think not, one is enough to warn one to keep well away from false works. 2) Your prophecies are not Biblical and therefore false prophecies. You are not a Biblical prophet.

…inclination to drag everyone’s name through the mud…

I think you missed a word in this sentence, it should read …inclination to drag everyone FALSE’s name through the mud…

    …two or three “agreement buddies”.

I haven’t counted, but it is more like be two or three hundred true Christians on this site who do agree that the false gospel and false churches must be exposed. The Bible also agrees. These people are not buddies, simply Biblical Christians, joined in Christ. That is, Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible. Add to those numbers the true Christians throughout the world and throughout history and you’ll be much closer to reality.

You bring down people like Angus Buchan and Smith Wigglesworth which clearly shows your character.

If you want to believe in their unbiblical teachings, that is your prerogative and your free will to choose whichever gospel and god you like. It does indicate your lack of Biblical discernment and you cannot expect Christians to keep silent about your decision if you make it public. Don’t take everything at face value. A microphone, fame, unsubstantiated claims, a leather hat and a million followers does not make for Biblical truth. I know. I’ve been close to that position, that is, the one with the microphone. Pray about it.

… gift of discernment is described in the Bible as “between true and false spirits” – not people.

You are correct. However, if you are under the impression that false preachers are not influenced by false spirits and simply act on their own accord, you are very wrong. The Gospel of Jesus can only be understood and preached if the Holy Spirit is present in that preaching. Therefore, only if other spirits influence the false preacher, can the false gospel be motivated. Discerning between the false gospel and the true Gospel, or between Christian preachers and anti-Christian preachers, is therefore identifying true and false spirits. Is that too much for you? Pray about it too.

You are causing the Body of Christ great harm.

You’ve got to be kidding! Are you saying that a blog can undo what Jesus Himself did and influence His church? I think you give a mere blogsite way too much credit. I think also, you give the cross way too little credit. A blog can certainly cause a false church tremendous harm, even stop some of them dead in their tracks, but the true church cannot be harmed by words. Oh ye of so little faith!
Mat 16:18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

    …destroy other people’s ministries.

Again it would make some sense if you had inserted the word in bold here …destroy other people’s FALSE ministries.

    …, you don’t know anything about me…

How do you know that? Do you know me?

…taken one article and blown it completely out of proportion…

How much information is needed to determine that which is unbiblical? What proportion of false teaching is acceptable? That is the same as accepting that a prophet was allowed to be partially incorrect, if only some of his prophecy was true.
Deu 18:22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

    …, just like everybody else.

Be careful now, Ivin, assumptions like this could get you into trouble.

And you sir, don’t know the Bible

I made no claim, but you make a claim. Careful now. I do read the Bible prayerfully and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. But if you wish to use Mat 10:8 as proof that YOU can heal the sick, then you are the one who does not know the Bible. Are you one of the twelve whom Jesus was speaking to in Mat 10:8? Are you trying to convince the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah by trying to do miracles?

Otherwise you wouldn’t be so confident to say that it isn’t.

I am 100% confident that it isn’t. 100%. You have not been able to change the Word of God.

…now without the ability to defend themselves.

Because Hitler is now dead, we should not address his atrocities? An illogical argument. In addition, it is the false deeds or message that is being attacked or exposed, not the person, as that would be without purpose, because as you say, the man is dead.

    …, just like everybody else.

Be careful now, Ivin, assumptions like this could get you into trouble

Grant mentions and Criticizes my “posting(S)” when he hasn’t read any of it.

When you accept the Gospel of Jesus as being the infallible Word of God, without addition or omission, without emergent influences, I might read what you write.

…or I may just take legal action

I will use your words which you wrote against me: “And you sir, don’t know the Bible”. See 1 Co 6: 1-8 for why you should not take a dispute over matters of the Faith to a court where it will be judged by unbelievers and the law of man.
1Co 6:5 I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers,
1Co 6:6 but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?
1Co 6:7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?

I am just sick and tired of your personal vendetta.

I for one, have no reason whatsoever to have any vendetta against you, because if you are right, I might not know you. I do know Jesus, however. I can recognize false teachings when the Holy Spirit gives me assurance and when I test them against Scripture. We are not targeting you, we are targeting unbiblical teachings and false teachers. True Christians will never stop fighting for the Truth, they cannot afford to, as their very lives (souls) depend on it.
It is typical of the fans of the emergent church and its’ false gods to divert attention away from Biblical matters and label it ‘personal’ when they cannot substantiate their position from Scripture. I put it to you, sir, that you are doing exactly that. Next I expect you will refer to Mat 7: 1-5 to tell me I’m being judgmental.

…know what you’re talking about as you’re facts are all unsubstantiated

I said it earlier, I’ll say it again, be careful now Ivin, assumptions like this could get you into trouble and cost you dearly.

I have spent too much time commenting on this article so don’t expect more comments from me.

Surely Ivin, if you truly have the conviction that your version of the emergent gospel is worth giving your life (soul) for, there will never be enough time for you to convert Biblical Christians to it? Surely you should never want to give up trying to get Biblical Christians to accept your version of the truth?
Biblical Christians will never give up on bringing to you the Word of Truth.
2Co 4:2 But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

My prayers are that you will come to see that you are not the target of an attack, but that the unbiblical beliefs and demonically influenced emergent gospel that you stand for, will always be.
The peace and the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ to you.

  • ivin

You make me smile too Elmarie. Enjoy your day all. And God bless!

  • Michael

    Ivin wrote;
“I mean they criticize the One Goal movement for “whatever” when all they wanna do is create awareness and help people and make countries their goal education for all Africans: What is wrong with that?”

If  you are fooled by this then you are blind to deception…there is a sinister plot in universalism…to destroy the privacy of the individual and control people in every facet of life for financial benefit for the powers of mamon…the powerful demon that the world worships. An attractive demon that appeals to those who want power and control of systems that do the very opposite of helping the poor. This powerful demon does not care for the impoverished and weak and is a parasite that feasts of the weaknesses of mankind and poses as an angel of light promising good will and new social structures to the benefit of mankind. This socialised order is a big lie…we have seen it with doctrines of Lenin (Karl Marx) and its coming back in a different form but with the same intention.

Guys…get wise…get a life…don’t be so blind…if the Spirit of the Living God lives in you then you will see this in His Word…He took the trouble and grace to warn us. Open your blind eyes and unstop your deaf ears. Keep alert…Deb’s has created this site not to attack you or your character but to enlightened the church…sometimes she gets a bit direct and seemingly blunt…I believe this in sincere however. ..She is not perfect and she knows this but her heart is in the right place . The prophets of old were direct and blunt and warned the people…today we need a big wake-up call. I am not patronising Deb’s but Christ is my only focus and His Word.

  • ivin

Grant, I never claimed to be Jesus, He alone can save – you’re right. Once again, I hope you all had fun. God bless.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Repeat: Did your prophecy come true all 5 atrocities a few months later??? Or does God lie? I know my God NEVER lies, but I do now of a god who lies a lot.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Ivin said on twitter: Just like the devil to attack someone while he’s on sabbatical.

Instead of calling me the devil – why don’t you take a long hard look at that ‘thing’ that spoke to you in that thunderstorm one fatefull day and lied to you – wake up Ivin, please wake up

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

It’s a raw nerve because he prophesied falsely and wont admit that what spoke to him that night was not God. If he would realise this then he will be able to come before the REAL ONE AND ONLY LIVING GOD and ask for forgiveness.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

It’s also very unnerving that Ivan supports men like Kim Clement who call for death. What kinda christian thinks this way, let alone even speaks it. Todd Bentley and his friend Rick Joyner call for a civil war as well where born again Christians need to be removed from the earth.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Ivin, did your prophecy come true?

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Did your prophecy come true? Did you make it up or did something really speak to you that night? You made your prophecy public, now the public want answers as to your credibility as a prophet.

  • ivin

Deborah, as you might know, I am on sabbatical and ask kindly that we could continue when I am released. In the meantime let all of us commit this matter to prayer. Love

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

No problem. You have time to come up with a good story.

  • Valerie

The more I hear about the dominionist, the more I see the possibility that the Beast System of Revelation could be the apostate church. Every knee will bow right?

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

It is. That’s the scary part.

  • Adannaya

All this arguing! ? what if all of you are being deceived?  nowhere do I read that we should be spending our time throwing rocks at each other! what happened to covering in love? I have learned that the ones that always think THEY are right have a religeous spirit. I believe in sound biblical truth but NOWHERE that false prophets should be stoned ridiculed and put down by the “biblical prophets”, exposed yes, not analysed and torn to peaces, but given a chance to turn to truth in love.  This whole thing sadens me, I can not see Jesus reading this and going..well done my good and faithfull servants..thats exactly what I would have done??? No, He is Love and that is our greatest weapon, especially in the times to come. How are we going to love our enemies!!!!!!!!! if we cant love someone who is trying so hard and getting it wrong!!!!!  I believe your hearts are right and what you say is right, but be very very carefull to condemn others, especially if you believe they are doing a good job doing it to themselves!! Yours should be the hand strentching out to pull him out the sinkins sand, not the foot on his head pushing him further away from the truth.

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

Ag, I am tired of answering the same comments over and over again. If you continue to read my website you will find the answer to your question in the comments section. In the meantime we all wait in anticipation for Ivin’s story as he said he would provide us with an answer as to why his prophecy failed dismally. In doing so we hope that he wakes up to what has happened to him and comes to true salvation in the One and only living God through His Son Jesus Christ.

  • Grant C

It seems almost pointless talking to someone like Ivin, who on the one hand claims to have an intention to serve Jesus Christ, but on the other hand refuses to apply Christian principles.

He displays an inability or unwillingness to accept Biblical doctrine. Everything makes him smile, but he refuses Biblical edification.

It is certainly no joke that he is in a position to influence young people and have some, who could be saved by hearing the true Gospel, lost to an emergent god.

  • Grant C

It is not acting in love if you allow someone to continue to follow a path which leads to destruction, while remaining silent.

I am a parent and I would certainly be accused of not loving my children, if I did not correct them when they went off the path. Very often the kids would be very cross with me for spoiling their fun, but not long thereafter they come to realize that, if I hadn’t acted firmly and with authority, they could have been irreparably harmed.

By speaking out for the Truth in a Biblical way, by prayerfully trying to show others error by providing Biblical rebuttal, does not win popularity contests for me or any of the regular writers on this blog. By giving many hours, FREELY, in defense of the true Gospel, should indicate caring concerns.

If you consider some of the responses and abuse of the Gospel of Jesus on this blog from those who follow false gods and false gospels, it seems clear that the continued response from Discerning The World is done in love.

Love is not always a whole lot of pretty little words and gentle answers. All the opponents to the Gospel of Jesus are not babies and Satan certainly uses extreme violence, even to the point of death. Reading through the Apostles Paul’s letters will show that he certainly was no softy in his approach to those who defied Christ.

You could accuse the writers here of not acting in love if they kept silent about false teachers and false gods. It is precisely because they are applying Biblical standards that they are acting with love.

There are not many paths or great highways to God, even though the emergent church will tell you it is really easy. There is only one path: Jesus and the narrow, hard way. Mat 7:14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Don’t you think it is important to get that message to the lost as a matter of extreme urgency ?

  • Deborah (Discerning the World)

What I also wanted to mention was; where is the love in keeping quiet – not for Ivin’s sake but for the sake of the ‘youth’ he is leading to hell. How many people’s lives has he affected with his nonsense. I pray not many. Everyone in this world is so ‘love’ orientated yet are as selfish as can be and could not care about the many unseen victims but will take a stand for the one committing wrong. Unbelievable. Well I suppose that’s what an anti-Christ world is all about – pat on the head for the criminal and a slap on the wrist of the victims.

I would have loved to have heard Paul rebuking people. Everyone on the internet would be hiding under their beds shivering.

  • Michael

Grant…you have answered this well…true love is caring for the well-being of people especially in the area of the soul…sometimes tough love is necessary. Sadly the demonic spirits in the world to-day play on the emotions of sensitive people today and confuse the true meaning of Godly love.

  • Rick

Exposing false teachers and false doctrine’s is important, it is necessary and as a Pastor you are duty bound to care for your flock. The best way to expose any false doctrines and false teachers is to Preach Jesus Christ. Not a man made Christ, but The Christ of The Bible. To Preach the Cross, Repentance from Sin, Holiness and the Righteousness of Christ as ours and not our own efforts. In the New Testament the Apostles warned about false teachers, they exhorted the Church to walk circumspectly, but the warnings and exhortations were only effective because they Preached Christ! For every exhortation about false teachers there was countless discourses about the true nature of Christ. I absolutely agree that the “modern evangelical movement” is mostly powerless in our generation. But I am careful to make certain that all of my efforts are not wasted on naming names and exposing this heresy or that. I have done so, and will continue to do so at times. But my driving passion is seek Christ as revealed in The Scriptures. It is easy for someone who is not acquainted with Jesus Christ as He Is to be mislead and carried about with all kinds of nonsense. But God’s Elect will not be deceived. Those who are drawn to Christ by The Spirit of God will by no means lose one hair of their heads. I suppose I say all of that to say this. Continue to warn and exhort as you are led by God to do so, always asking the Holy Spirit to help you to examine your motives. But make no mistake, so long as you Preach The Gospel, The Good Old Gospel that NEVER CHANGES nor NEEDS TO for The Author of It is Unchangeable. As long as you preach Christ and The Cross, Repentance from Sin, Godly Sorrow, as opposed to Worldly ” I’m sorry that I got caught” Sorrow. As long as you preach Grace and works produced by Grace and not Human Effort, As long as you preach The Love of God in its proper context, that is Love for God evidenced by Obedience, Love for your Neighbors evidenced by your Love for God and Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as an ever-present Intercessor on behalf of The True Convert. As Long as you preach these things, the wolves will only try to get in, but they will not be able to, because His Sheep hear His Voice. Warn, Exhort, Defend, but above all let our focus not shift to these things, and rather let our focus be Christ and Him Crucified, Raised and Seated at The Right Hand of The Father. God Bless
