Mogale 4 Christ (2014)
One of the most magnanimous episodes in the the life of Jesus Christ – when He still roamed the earth just prior to his ascension – was when He gave his disciples the following marching orders:-
“We all recognize a rich person when we see one. These individuals seem to possess qualities that the rest of us desperately lack yet yearn to attain. But the possibility of becoming wealthy is a skill and not a gift allocated to a select few, nor is financial independence achieved by some form of magic or luck.
Do you want your life to include an abundance of riches with the prospect of continuous wealth creation? Do you often dream of living a more fruitful and financially rewarding life? Do you aspire or wish to achieve your full potential in all areas of life? Are you prepared to challenge current limitations to become debt-free, cultivate financial intelligence and become money-wise? Then, teach all people:
- How-to keep and not just save your money.
- How-to grow your money and earn more while working less or going on early retirement.
- How-to build an asset portfolio
- How-to maximize long-term investments.”
These were my exact words just prior to my ascension when I returned to my Father to be given the glory I had before I was sent to die on a cross. I have proved to you through my death, burial and resurrection that I love you so much, even to the extent that I am now seated at the right hand of my Father in heaven where I am ceaselessly praying for you to become stinking rich.
Don’t let anyone tell you I ever said the following words because it’s a lie. “The harvest indeed is abundant [there is much ripe grain], but the farmhands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out like lambs into the midst of wolves. Carry no purse, no provisions bag, no [change of] sandals; refrain from [retarding your journey by] saluting and wishing anyone well along the way.” (Luke 10:2-4: Amplified Bible).
Moreover, don’t tell anyone what my disciples answered me when I asked them: “When I sent you out with no purse or [provision] bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” (Luke 22:35). And last but not least, please don’t tell them I said you will always have the poor among you. (Matthew 26:11). In fact, what I actually meant to say – as I’ve already indicated above – is that “the possibility to becoming wealthy is a skill and not a gift allocated to a select few, nor is financial independence achieved by some form of magic or luck.”
Indeed, there is no need to have poor people among you because anyone can become stinking rich and own the most expensive mansions (like President Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla) and drive the most expensive cars imaginable.
Are false preachers and teachers like John Mphaphuli duping the poorest of the poor in South Africa to believe that President Jacob Zuma’s affluent home in Nkanlda, KwaZulu-Natal is the glorious result of Jesus Christ’s great blessings on him because it is His will that “your life [should] include an abundance of riches with the prospect of continuous wealth creation?”
Fortunately, the above gilded words have been preserved for an eternity on Dr John Mphaphuli’s FaceBook and will probably reverberate throughout Mogale City’s Centenary Hall again when he will be appearing as one of the keynote speakers at the Mogale 4 Christ outreach together with an equally esteemed health and wealth proponent, Dr Isak Burger, President of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa. Last year Mogale City and the hallowed space of the Centenary Hall in Commissioner Street had the privilege to hear Dr. Frank Chikane’s powerful message of unity and reconciliation. Dr. Chikane is the President of The AFM International an international religious body to promote the image of the Apostolic Faith Mission worldwide and to coordinate fellowship between AFM National Churches in all countries. (And I have always thought that the duty of a follower of Jesus Christ was to preach the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ so that everyone who would believe should be saved. This no longer seems to be the main purpose of the Apostolic Faith Mission but rather to promote its image worldwide. Really?).
WHOSE CHRIST SHOULD MOGALE CITY FOLLOW?
Of course, any Christian would love to win whole cities for Christ. However, the question we need to ask is: “Whose Christ?” – Isak Burger’s Christ, John Mhaphuli’s Christ, Frank Chikane’s Christ, Dion Forster’s Christ, Graham Power’s Christ, Angus Buchan’s Christ or Jannie Pelser’s Christ? Take your pick, either one is as bad as the other.
ISAK BURGER’S CHRIST?
Isak Burger’s Christ believes it is no longer necessary for sinners to repent (change their minds for the better with an abhorrence of their past sins) and turn to Jesus Christ for their salvation. What we do need is to speak in tongues as the evidence that we’ve been filled with the Holy Spirit. That’s it! This is what Isak Burger, President of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, said in an interview Jan de Wet had with him on Kruiskyk, an Afrikaans Christian TV channel.
Another very important thing is the emergence of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement. There is today, according to Peter Barrett, one of the most important statisticians, 630 million people in the world who can testify that they are filled with the Holy Spirit and also speak in tongues, of which 120 million – and this I heard from the head of an Order in the Roman Catholic Church – affirm that they are filled with the Spirit. So, this is the two main accents, the fruitful soil for the Gospel in the Third World and the emergence of, let us say, the Spirit-driven or Spirit-led churches. Of course, today it is no longer limited to the traditional Pentecostal Church. To me, it is so wonderful to see, when I travel throughout South Africa, and you (Jan de Wet) have experienced it many times. You know, in one of our traditional churches where I preached, some of the elders who sat in the back of the consistory who prayed for me, I heard some of them pray in tongues. Now, where would you have come across something like this in the earlier days in a Calvinistic church? So the Holy Spirit is busy filling the earth in a most wonderful way.
What Isak Burger said in effect, is that unity among all brands of Christianity and other religions, including Roman Catholics, Calvinists, Pentecostals, Mormons (1), Hindus (2), Muslims (3), Wiccans, (4), Lutherans and just about every Tom, Dick and Harry (5) will be achieved through the gift of tongues. It doesn’t matter whether you believe in the heresies taught in the RCC or the Calvinist churches; the most important thing to know is whether you are filled with the Holy Spirit of which the speaking in tongues is the evidence. By the way, sangomas (witch doctors in South Africa) also speak in tongues.

JOHN MPHAPHULI’S CHRIST?
Despite Jesus Christ’s warning that rich men hardly make it to heaven (Luke 18:24-25), John Mphaphuli’s Christ advises you to learn from the:-
- How-to keep and not just save your money ( (This sounds so much like Jesus who said: “It is more blessed to keep than to give.” (Acts 20:35)).
- How-to grow your money and earn more while working less or going on early retirement. (Jesus said: “And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater, and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast many goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:16-21)
- How-to build an asset portfolio.
- How-to maximize long-term investments.
The partnership between Isak Burger’s Christ who urges all people to speak in tongues and John Mhaphuli’s Christ who encourages everyone to become a millionaire is a very formidable one to say the least. Think of it, you can now learn from the SA School of Millionaires how to become stinking rich in your own mother tongue – or is it in a heavenly tongue?
FRANK CHIKANE’S CHRIST?
Frank Chickane’s Christ is not only a political activist who commanded the Afrikaner Apartheid regime to “let my people go” but also a Christ who was reluctant to die on the cross but did so anyway because He had no option. Frank – in the veritable diplomatic and compromising style he has developed to perfection and in vogue with most of the black evangelical clergy’s view see the cross – says the following in “Crucible of Fire. The Church Confronts Apartheid: Voices of Leading South African Christians 1980-1990.”
Wallis: What will happen when honest, nonviolent disciples take their place in the streets, willing to put their lives on the line against a system that has demonstrated its willingness to be so vicious and brutal? What is ahead for the church and the country in this period?
Chikane: I think we’ve entered the worst period, and it’s going to become much worse than it is at the present moment. I suspect that as the congregations go to the streets, the system is going to be more and more brutal. And it’s going to mean the murder of a lot of our people. And in the course of the murder of our people, the system will begin to disintegrate because of the contradictions created by its own brutality.
It seems-and this is a painful thing-that the international community does not respond unless we die in great numbers. When we want to take on the system, some say, “You’re committing suicide, you know. You’re going to be murdered.” And we say, “Can you help us?” If they say, “No, we cannot help you,” what they are telling us is to leave the system to oppress us indefinitely. So we find ourselves in a vulnerable situation where we cannot do otherwise but, in fact, offer ourselves for sacrifice.
I don’t believe we as a church can now avoid the cross. If Jesus Christ had an option, I would think he would not have gone to the cross. One theologian said, “Jesus Christ didn’t choose to die. He simply had no option but to die.” And it looks as though we have no option in the face of the level of evil in this country. For us to go over into victory, we will have to go through the cross.
Through that experience of the cross, I believe the system is going to be put down, and the church will come out being the real church of Christ. In this situation, if you’re not a persecuted church, it seems that you can’t become a real church of Christ. Now we are faced with the reality that to be a Christian has to be a conscious decision. It is going to be too costly for those who became Christians by tradition or chance. Some might withdraw from the church. People will have to make very conscious decisions, knowing that to choose Christ is to choose death for the sake of justice against evil.
By going through that experience, we are forced to review our Christian faith, our own commitment. And that might be helpful in cleansing the church in South Africa. But Pm convinced that our victory is going to be at the level of that experience.
Wallis: What can you say about the role of whites in this struggle?
Chikane: A small number of whites have taken a stand against the apartheid system. And their presence in our midst helps us to lessen the type of pain people go through. If we could get many white Christians to come in, it would help to lessen the pain even more.
But I’m not very hopeful that this will happen. Those churches with whites in them would have to begin to preach the gospel in such a way that whites would have to choose whether they would stay in those churches. At the end we would have church members who would take a stand against the government which gives them the benefits.
Wallis: Your situation seems to many on the outside to be hopeless. Yet I’m deeply amazed and moved, as you face the cross, by the hope that you and others express again and again.
Chikane: I think one feels pessimistic when one approaches the problem from a pastoral perspective. As a pastor you’re concerned about the lives of people, the pain they are going to go through. You wish that it wouldn’t happen. It is just like Jesus saying, “I wish that this cup would pass.” Humanly no one wants to go through that experience.
But on the other hand, it is that experience that gives you hope, because through that experience one has redemption, one has freedom. And because there’s no option, we’re bound as Christians to go through that experience. Especially during 1986, as the system became more brutal, the young people said they actually felt they were closer to their liberation. They understand the fact that you cannot get closer to liberation without bringing out the viciousness of the system. The pain is an indication of the closeness to your day of liberation.
It is our faith that gives us hope. We know that in our helplessness we become more dependent on God. In our powerlessness we become powerful. It is our weakness that is our strength. Those who run the evil system know it will end, and therefore they have no hope. They just become madder by the day, and in their madness take more and more lives. But we know that our struggle is a just one. That is really what makes it hopeful-God cannot allow evil to prevail forever.
Wallis: One would hope that as you move toward the cross, the eyes and ears and hearts of the church all over the world would be awakened to respond.
Chikane: Our act is redemptive-not in the sense that Christ died to redeem the world-but that, in our weakness, our experience helps other people to have a new understanding of their faith and their commitment. And so the suffering of the church in South Africa itself becomes a message of salvation and hope and redemption for the greater. (Emphasis added).
The Christ of the Bible said:
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:13-18).
First of all, Wallis’ statement that those who suffered were non-violent disciples of Jesus Christ is absurd. He did not say “disciples of Christ” in so many words but his intention is plain. Why wouldn’t he have made such a subtle insinuation when they were talking about the church? The black crowds who took to the streets from 1948 through to 1994 were anything but disciples of Christ Jesus. The true disciples of Jesus suffered for their faith and on behalf of his Name and NOT as a redemptive act to help other people to have a new understanding of their faith and their commitment (in their so-called struggle for democracy). And neither did they take to the streets of Rome to hack to death and necklace innocent men, women, and children. Many blacks died at the hands of their own people by means of the most evil and heinous method imaginable – necklacing is even worse than the murderous beheading of innocent people presently perpetrated by ISIS (ISIL) in the Middle East. They will have to give an account to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and will be cast into hell unless they repent.
And Wallis dares to call these murderers who used the necklacing method to kill their own people disciples of Jesus Christ? Wallis did not say “disciples of Christ” in so many words but it is obvious that that was what he meant, especially in the light of what they were discussing – the church. For more info on black violence in South Africa, read here. It is obvious that Frank Chikane and most of his colleagues have a wrong and warped idea of the cross of Jesus Christ. They have turned his cross and suffering into a political struggle replete with the most horrendous deeds imaginable. I can only repeat what Paul of Tarsus wrote.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Co 11:13-15).
DION FORSTER’S AND GRAHAM POWER’S CHRIST?
Graham Power’s Christ and also of his GDOP buddies is:-
- A dominionist Christ.
- An ecumenical Christ.
- An incarnational Christ.
- A Christ who failed to finish his work on the cross and is now relying on the church to finish his work for Him.
- A Christ who did not defeat Satan on the cross.
- A Christ who is compassionately tolerant of all religions because they too have truths on which Christians can base their lives (aka Stephan Joubert and his buddy, Rob Bell).
Latter Rain teaches that Jesus Christ did not defeat Satan on the cross when He died for our sins. Hence, the Latter Rain kingdom “mandate” is to defeat Satan through prayer marches, prayer journeys, Jesus Marches, lighthouses, prayer concerts, prayer canopies, prayer initiatives, strategic-level spiritual warfare, identificational repentance, prayer evangelism, personal intercession for leaders, two-way prayer, on-site praying, city transformation (of which the “Mogale 4 Christ” on 28 September 2014 is an annual occurrence), commitment to the land (territory) and spiritual mapping (data banking research).
Rebecca Greenwood, the executive assistant to C. Peter and Doris Wagner at Global Harvest Ministries in Colorado Springs, has written a new book entitled Authority to Tread: An Intercessor’s Guide to Strategic-Level Spiritual Warfare.
In his review of her book, C. Peter Wagner states the Latter Rain heresy that Jesus’ work was not finished on the cross. Jesus “has delegated His Church to continue the [war against Satan] by spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the peoples of the earth.” According to this doctrine, when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples (at Pentecost) Jesus “gave them a command to make disciples of all nations. He authorized them to use His name and to move against the enemy in His kingly authority. What does this mean?
It means that the war to continue pushing Satan and his wicked forces back by the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is now in the hands of the Church, the people of God. In other words, we as the Church are at war!”
In order to accommodate the Kingdom Now paradigm of the Apostolic Reformation, key passages in the Bible need to be redefined, rehashed and even distorted. Some of the best examples of this ungodly and hell-deserving travesty are the following quotes from two GDOP horse’s mouths. Jannie Pelser of the Rant en Dal Community Church in Krugersdorp says:-
Jesus did not come to save peoples’ souls. Jesus came to establish God’s rule on earth. His death on the cross and his resurrection represent the absolute and final victory of God’s loving power over all the violence in this world.” (7)
“I challenge you to show me where Jesus’ command was that people should make certain they are going to heaven. Show me one place where Jesus commanded us to make certain that people are going to heaven? Our duty is to go and tell people that heaven has already come to the earth and is breaking through into this world. And your, my, and our calling is to establish God’s approaching glory on earth and not to focus peoples’ eyes on a pie in the sky when you die while the world around is going lost in every day’s crises to make a living. It’s a wrong view of the Gospel.” (6) (Emphasis added).
C Peter Wagner says the very same thing:-
“We need to take a new look at one of our most quoted Bible verses: ‘The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost’ (Lu. 19:10). In the past, most of us thought that Jesus was saying ‘to seek and to save those who were lost.’ Consequently, we applied it to saving souls. But now we realize that we should have taken Jesus’ statement at face value, namely ‘that which was lost.’ “What is it then, that was lost and that Jesus came to seek and to save? The answer is in the first chapter of Genesis. God’s original design was that Adam and Eve should have dominion over all of God’s creation (see Gen. 1:28). But they disobeyed God, they lost their authority, Satan usurped it and he became the god of this age. Satan’s kingdom encompassed all of the human kingdoms of the earth (see Lk. 4:5-6) “Why did Jesus come? He came with His kingdom, namely the kingdom of God, to invade the kingdom of Satan for the purpose of taking back dominion of God’s creation which was lost in the Garden of Eden. The Holy Spirit is now speaking to the churches and saying that God’s people must do what it takes to transform society, segment by segment, until God’s kingdom is seen on earth as it is in heaven.” C. Peter Wagner, “Transform Society!” Global Prayer News, Vol. 6, No. 3, Jul-Sep 2005.
The phrase “which was lost” (translated: “the one having been lost;” “that having been lost;” and “that which has been lost”) appears only three times in the New Testament (Matthew 18:11; Luke 15:6 and Luke 19:10) and in each of these Jesus Christ referred to individual persons and NOT the world that was allegedly lost when Adam and Eve sinned.
This is what their Kingdom of God (Dominionism) looks like:
Businessman Graham Power, who founded “Transformation Africa” and heads up the GDOP, lists C. Peter Wagner as his advisor in the Transform World Market Place. His and Dion Forster’s – as is also Angus Buchan’s, Jannie Pelser’s, Sephan Joubert’s, Johan Geyser’s, Trevor Hudson’s and the Emergent Church’s agenda – is steeped in the Latter Day Rain doctrine. One of their major Latter Rain doctrines is dominionism which is inextricably linked to a heresy that the Body of Christ can incarnate Christ and therefore wield His authority on earth. Because the term “dominion” reveals too much, the words “transformation” and “healing,” and “blessing” are now widely substituted. These doctrines are succinctly summarized by researcher Mike Oppenheimer in a series of website reports on the history and doctrines of Latter Rain:
“Some believe that the second coming of Jesus is to be ‘in the Church,’ before he comes for the Church. That the Church, his body will actually become Christ on earth, glorious and triumphant. They will go Conquer the land and then rule the nations with a rod of iron. Some believe that after the Church has taken dominion over the nations, she will hasten the day that will call Jesus back to earth and hand the nations over to Him.”
Another key Latter Rain doctrine has to do with “blessing.” This doctrine is explained well by researcher Ed Tarkowski:
1. [Biblical truth states that] Christ is the one who blesses the nations by giving the Holy Spirit to all who believe in Him and His finished work. This was fulfilled at Pentecost and is on-going. The recipients of the blessing are those who receive the Spirit because of their faith in Christ: ‘Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?’ (Galatians 3:2). Those who do not believe in Him are excluded from the blessing. Latter Rain teaches that every person on earth is to receive this blessing, called “the anointing,” through the Church, not from Christ personally and through faith in Him. In other words, the recipients replace Christ by themselves becoming “distributors” of the spirit based on their own intercession. This redefines the Abrahamic Blessing as… [ “blessing the nations”] making it man-delivered instead of God-sent.
2. Latter Rain teaching, the Church intercedes for the nations, and then God releases the blessings promised to Abraham through their efforts to TAKE “the Blessing” to the nations. Salvation is moved from a personal level to a territorial one, with emphasis on “taking the land” or nations. Then after all have received what is offered and the earth is cleansed of all who would not receive, God’s Kingdom can be supposedly set up.
3. Latter Rain teaches that the blessing of Abraham will be released into the nations as the Church celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles or the Ingathering of the Harvest. But the promise was fulfilled when Christ sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Therefore, any spirit “released” through the “new” Israel celebrating [Pentecost or] Tabernacles now cannot be the Holy Spirit. The Feast of Tabernacles is not a vehicle to unite the world, but is the main feast to be celebrated in the millennium after Christ establishes His reign (Zech 14).
4. [Biblical truth states that the] Spirit seals all believers as God’s guarantee that when Christ returns to judge the nations and establish His rule, we will receive all of God’s promises. But Latter Rain teaches that the Church is the promised seed (corporate) which enters into its inheritance by 1) celebrating the Feast of Atonement, 2) experiencing Pentecost, and 3) entering the time of the Feast of Tabernacles. The expected outcome of this “journey” is that Christ becomes incarnate in His perfected members, bringing them immortality and enabling them to be His end time army, Joel’s Army. As they take “the blessing” of Abraham… to the nations, this Army ESTABLISHES that which Scripture says they are to INHERIT: the Kingdom of God (Matthew 25:34)…. In Latter Rain teaching, the Corporate Seed [the Church, ed.] will supposedly fulfill the Abrahamic Covenant because – hear this – ABRAHAM FAILED AT IT, JESUS FAILED AT IT AND THE DISCIPLES FAILED TO FULFILL IT…. Latter Rainist Alan Vincent, for instance, teaches that EVERY city and family on earth is to receive this blessing through the Church. (Part 3 of “A Brief History of the Redefined Abrahamic Covenant”
The entire Tarkowski Internet report is particularly relevant to the Global Day of Prayer and readers are encouraged to read it. In his report, Tarkowski discusses how, in the late 1980s, Ralph Winter at the U.S. Center for World Missions wrote seminal articles for Mission Frontiers Magazine, in which he re-defined the Abrahamic Covenant. Winter claimed that the Church was given a “secret mission” to finish the work of Christ on earth, a Great Commission mandate, a command to fulfill the Abrahamic Covenant by ‘blessing” the peoples of the earth with dominion. According to Tarkowski, “Winter has redefined the Abrahamic Covenant and placed a call to the Church to go forth with the Great Commission to extend the rule of God.”
Winter also taught that Christ has “unfinished work” on the cross, and therefore we, the church, are required to finish His work for Him. In the same article, “The Work of the Savior,” Winter states,
“I believe we must face the fact that the Bible is not merely God’s primary instrument of revelation. The Bible clearly exposits the intended non-disclosure of God.” (Mission Frontiers, Feb. 1987).
Lest the reader supposes that these doctrines are obscure, there are relevant examples which pertain directly to the Global Day of Prayer. Marketplace Meditations, a “Daily Electronic Devotional published by Os Hillman at Marketplace Leaders” (a businessman involved in the Atlanta GDOP), published a talk by Landa Cope to YWAM:
“We need to preach a gospel of the kingdom that God is the God of law, development, science, technology, health care, and economics.’ God does not just want a big church, he wants a diverse church, a deep church. He does not want just to save individuals in nations but to redeem the nations themselves.”
Notice the subtle shift from individual salvation to the Kingdom dominion.
Latter Rain also teaches that Satan was not defeated at the cross when Jesus shed His blood for our sins. Part of the Latter Rain kingdom “mandate” is to defeat Satan, however, that comes to be defined. Rebecca Greenwood, who serves as executive assistant to C. Peter and Doris Wagner at Global Harvest Ministries in Colorado Springs, has written a new book entitled Authority to Tread: An Intercessor’s Guide to Strategic-Level Spiritual Warfare.
Businessman Graham Power, who founded “Transformation Africa” and heads up the GDOP, lists C. Peter Wagner as his advisor in the Transform World Market Place. According to the press kit “spin” on numerous Internet websites, the Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) idea came about because of two visions given to Graham Power, a South African businessman and a new convert, who envisioned Africa becoming the “Light to the world.” In March 2001, 45,000 Christians gathered for prayer in Cape Town. The following year eight other towns participated and the event was televised. Next, a strategy was developed to take this “Transformation Africa” globally. There was a small African summit in 2002, and the International Prayer Counsel consultation decided on a course to launch a Global Day of Prayer by 2005. Following this, on May 1, 2004, there was a larger “Day of Repentance and Prayer for Africa.” Then on May 2, 2004, there was a “Canopy of Prayer” across the continent with a reported 22 million participants.
Pentecost Sunday, May 15, 2005, is referred to as “Stage V: Global Transformation – Every Nation.” It is a plan to bring in a “Greater Pentecost.” Its scope is unprecedented. “The plan is to start praying as the sun rises in New Zealand until the Sunsets in the United States.” GDOP is actually more than a one-day event. It is scheduled to happen in three phases:
Phase I: May 6-15 is ten days of organized prayer from the Day of Ascension through Pentecost.
Phase II: The Global Day of Prayer, May 15, 2005.
Phase III: 90 days of Blessing: “community transformations and a compassionate Plan of Action.”
The Global Day of Prayer “process” is scheduled for the next five years until 2010 “in order to build momentum and fill the earth.” Official histories can be found at these websites, among others.
Graham Power and Dion Forster are the co-authors of the book “Transform your Work Life.” Graham Power is the founder and Board Chairman of the Power Group. In 2001 Graham Power was the visionary leader, for a gathering in Cape Town that saw 45 000 Christians fill Newlands Stadium to pray for the needs of this nation. Today this movement has become a global move. Dion Forster is the chaplain to the Power Group of Companies as well as the Global Day of Prayer and Unashamedly Ethical movements. Dion serves as a ‘minister in the marketplace’ within the Power Group.
To illustrate both these gentlemen’s deep ecumenical agenda I would like to relate an episode in the Old Testament that describes to a pin’s point their ungodly ecumenical programme.
King Ahaz who occupied the throne in Jerusalem from 732-715 BC is a perfect example of how our postmodern and emergent spiritual leaders tolerate the so-called truths in other faiths and even participate in other religions for the sake of an ecumenical and global peace. When Rezin, king of Aram and Pekah, king of Israel, formed an alliance against king Ahaz in an effort to force him to join them against the Assyrian threat, Ahaz preferred to appeal for help to Tiglath-Pileser III.
He voluntarily submitted as a vassal to Assyrian control and sent a gift of silver and gold from the temple and palace in Jerusalem to encourage Tiglath-Pileser to remove the armies of his neighbours from his walls. Tiglath-Pileser obliged by attacking and capturing king Rezin’s capital Damascus.
This was the beginning of Ahaz’s spiral into an even greater apostasy and eventually his death. He was so overwhelmed by Tiglath-Pileser’s victory over his enemies that he traveled to Damascus to meet the Assyrian king. There he saw and was captivated by a very large Assyrian altar. He immediately had a sketch made of it and sent it to the high priest, Uriah, instructing him to build a similar one. He also commanded him that all the regular offerings should hence be made on the new idolatrous altar.
Ahaz had the bronze altar, of which God had given Moses the exact measurements on Mount Sinai, removed from its place in the temple and only used it to seek the counsel and guidance of God. Ahaz had done this to please Tiglath-Pileser and not to offend him. Do we need to say more to see that religious tolerance is nothing new under the sun?
King Solomon was perfectly correct when he said there is nothing new under the sun. Our own revered spiritual leaders have in many ways replaced God’s altar with the altars of other religions. They have become so captivated by the alleged truths in other religions and even the New Age that they have turned their backs on God’s one and the only altar. They know it is impossible to strip God’s altar of its inherent offensive character (1 Peter 2:6-8) . . . and yet they are doing everything in their power to make the Gospel of God more palatable and less offensive.
Some of them keep the offensiveness of the cross hidden in their churches as a means to seek God’s counsel and guidance but as soon as they move into the world they exploit the non-offensive and “unashamedly ethical,” altars, the New Age altars, and even the altars of other religions in order not to offend their new partners in religious tolerance.
The great prophet Elijah unashamedly called this kind of two-faced hypocrisy “to halt between two opinions.” The LXX renders the expression “How long go ye lame on both knees?” The Hebrew verb rendered “halt” is used of the irregular dance (“leaped upon”) around the altar (1Ki 18:26). It indicates a lame, uncertain gait, going now in one direction, now in another, in the frenzy of wild leaping between two radically different and opposing altars.
I have already mentioned in one of my previous commentaries that Graham Power, Chairperson of Transformation Africa with whom Rev. Jannie Pelser, Angus Buchan, Dion Forster, and many other spiritual leaders are in close cahoots, was one of the major sponsors of the Parliament of the World’s Religions held in Cape Town from 1 to 8 December in 1999. The following video demonstrates how God and his Son Jesus Christ was blasphemed at the World Parliament of Religions.
Quan Yin Meditation, the method used by the Supreme Master Ching Hai to enlighten her disciples to an awareness that they are the true essence of God, is akin to Contemplative Meditation which the Mosaiek Church in Fairland, Johannesburg teaches at their retreat centre “Origins” in Krugersdorp. Quan Yin, as she said in the video, is the Chinese for the “spoken Word of God” for which the contemplatives at Mosaiek have a similar description. They call it the “first language of God” and can only be experienced when you enter into a deep altered state of meditative silence through meditation.
Whereas Ching Hai and the Mosaiek Kerk (Johan Geyser, Trevor Hudson, Stephan Joubert etc.) each have their own brand of meditation which, when practiced leads to the same result – oneness, not with God but with demons – so does Dion Forster have his own brand of meditation which takes you beyond conventional Christianity. His guru is the French Benedictine monk Henri le Saux, whose religious experience in India led him to become a bridge between Hindu and Christian spirituality.
If ever there was a time when nominal Christians were captivated by the altars of other religions, it was when they became “participants to meet their own and others’ traditions at deeper levels”to“encounter others whose practice, work and commitment can enrich their own,” to“inspire individuals, organisations, nations and religions and spiritual communities to offer gifts of service, which will make long-term difference in the world” and last but not least to “explore new modes of creative engagement of each institution with one another and with the critical issues which confront the planetary community.” (“A New Day Dawning, Spiritual Yearnings and Sacred Possibilities”, p. 6).
They arebut have no qualms whatsoever or are ashamed to blaspheme the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While they unashamedly boast in the face of God that they are “unashamedly ethical” He in utter derision answers them: “all your righteous acts (global ethics, norms, and values) are like filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6).
I have already exposed Dion Forster’s disloyalty to the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ in the article “Cape Town for Dion, Graham and Angus 2010,” proving that he is not following the Jesus Christ of the Bible but another Jesus who espouses another gospel.
JANNIE PELSER’S CHRIST?
Jannie Pelser’s Christ did not come to the earth to seek and to save lost sinners.
The very Irreverent (sorry, Rev.) Jannie Pelser, lead pastor of the DRC Community Church in Rant en Dal, Krugersdorp says:
“I dare you to show me where Jesus’ command was that people should make certain they are going to heaven. Show me one place where Jesus commanded us to make certain that people are going to heaven.
Jannie, would you mind telling us what the Gospel is all about because we’ve never heard it before? OK, here’s what Jannie had to say:
Jesus did not come to save peoples’ souls. Jesus came to establish God’s rule on earth. His death on the cross and his resurrection represent the absolute and final victory of God’s loving power over all the violence in this world.” (7)
Jannie seems to have changed his view slightly because he now says that our nation needs a new heart in his church’s most recent Christian Community News Paper (September 2014).
South Africa is a wonderful place. We are graced with beautiful scenery, interesting people, diverse cultures, a kaleidoscope of languages, many different ways of doing things and perceiving reality. But we face many challenges. Poverty and unemployment, underdeveloped infrastructure in many rural areas, housing, schools, hospitals and clinics.
The good news is that all these challenges can be met if we exhibit the willpower to do so. Some things however can only change if the hearts of people are changed.
God promises a new heart if we allow Him to transform us.
We need to be changed. The old way of doing things landed us in a lot of trouble. We read about it on a daily basis. Violence, addiction, corruption, high jacking, abuse and rape to mention a few examples. Good intentions, however noble, is not enough to bring about the change we desperately need. We need new hearts. Our nation needs a new heart. The heart of stone characterised by selfishness and deceit, anger and resentment, pride and jealousy must be replaced.
No man can do this on his own. This new heart Surgeon operates in no human designed hospital theatre. He operates by His Spirit in the innermost being of every man and woman who would ask Him for it. September brings with it newness of life . Spring is in the air. It is an opportune time to begin anew.
Note Jannie’s words, “God promises a new heart if we allow Him to transform us.” He doesn’t say, “The nation needs to repent of its evil ways and receive Jesus Christ as Saviour.” He says, the nation needs to be transformed. Their transformation involves a socio-political transformation where Christ allegedly rules over every area of human enterprise. Alice Bailey wrote:
The second move of the Hierarchy, I told you, would be the impressing of the minds of enlightened men everywhere by spiritual ideas embodying the new truths, by the “descent” (if I may so call it) of the new concepts which will govern human living, and by the over-shadowing of all world disciples and the New Group of World Servers by the Christ Himself.
You will recall how, in the Bible story, Christ symbolically evoked the recognition of John the Baptist and imparted the things of the Kingdom of God to the disciples who walked to Emmaus, though they recognised not their Companion.
This planned move of the Hierarchy is also progressing well; men and women everywhere and in every department of life are enunciating those new truths which should in the future guide human living; they are building those new organisations, movements and groups-large or small-which will familiarise the mass of men with the reality of the need and the mode of meeting it.
This they are doing because they are driven thereto by the warmth of their hearts and their loving response to human distress; without formulating it thus to themselves, they are nevertheless working to bring into visibility the Kingdom of God on earth. No denial of these facts is possible, in view of the multiplicity of this type of organisations, books and speeches. (Read more here.)
Jannie says that we should tell people that heaven has already come to Mogale City and that God’s rule has already been established in our city. Let us briefly wander through Mogale to see what the heaven of Jannie Pelser and his god looks like.
While driving through the Mogale CBD recently I turned to the passenger next to me and said, “The lampposts in Mogale are nine months pregnant with abortion posters.” Just about every single lamppost in Mogale is littered with abortion posters. Only the topmost space on these lampposts is vacant and whoever would want to paste another abortion poster will need a very long ladder to perform his or her infamous “Jannie Pelser-Godly Ruled-Heaven-in-Mogale” act.
Krugersdorp News reports that:-
Mogale City’s crime increase ranks together with Lesedi, Merafong City and Tshwane, all showing an upwards trend in crime, with Lesedi up from 15 per cent to 26 per cent between 2011 and 2013
Meanwhile, 25 per cent of Tshwane’s residents reported being a victim of crime in 2013, compared to the Gauteng average of 23 per cent.
Elsewhere on the West Rand Randfontein was perceived as the safest area with only 18 per cent of respondents reporting being a victim of crime over the past year.
Further responses from those surveyed indicate that 12 per cent of Gauteng residents feel either unsafe or very unsafe walking the streets during the day – a figure that skyrockets to 68 per cent at night.
In April, a United Nations report noted that South Africa has managed to more than halve its murder rate – from 64,5 per 100 000 people in 1995 to 31 per 100 000 (16 259 murders) in 2012 – however, the country remains the eighth most violent in the world, and the most violent in Africa. (Read more here.)
Yet, the Very Irreverent Jannie Pelser dares to say that God’s Kingdom (Heaven) has already come to Mogale. The Bible says that those who prophesy things which do not come to pass is a false prophet.
The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins. You have not gone up to the breaches in the wall to repair it for the people of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the Lord. Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the Lord has not sent them, they say, “The Lord declares,” and expect him to fulfill their words. Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The Lord declares,” though I have not spoken?
“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign Lord. My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.
“‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
Jannie Pelser’s herald that God’s Kingdom (Heaven) has already come in Mogale is tantamount to saying that His rule of peace and justice is permeating our city from corner to corner. Is that true, Jannie? If not then you are a false prophet and desperately in need of repentance and forgiveness.
Jannie Pelser’s downward spiral into apostasy began when he started to take many Christians on his special tours to Lagos, Nigeria, to be healed by T.B. Joshua. The following comment appeared on “Kletskerk.” It proves that unbelievers often have more savvy and discernment than Christians (Luke 16:18).
Netwerk24 reported as follows on T.B. Joshua (21/9/204) under the title “T.B. Joshua is a tick who is preying on the dying.” (in Afrikaans). Read more here (in Afrikaans)
Indeed, it makes one very angry to read and hear how false teachers and prophets like T.B. Joshua, Jannie Pelser, John Mhaphuli, Graham Power, Isak Burger, Angus Buchan and many more are leading millions astray. I believe that God is very angry and that the collapse of TBJ’s guest house in Lagos could be God’s righteous judgment on T.B. Joshua and his followers. I say this on the basis of the following Scripture:
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:20-23).
The million-dollar question is: Why are so many so-called Christians so gullible and eager to follow a false prophet whilst they have been warned again and again to turn away from them. Benny Hinn and many others have been proved to be false prophets over and over again and still, blind followers hail him as a miracle healer. WHY? I think the answer is to be found in this passage in Scripture.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousnes. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12).
Despite all these serious warnings, they are still bent on proclaiming their heresies of which the “Mogale 4 Christ” gathering in the Centenary Hall on 28 September 2014 is a telling example. WHY?
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
How many lies did Jannie Pelser tell the reporter Jacques Pauw and his news team to protect the false prophet, T.B. Joshua? Who is a liar?
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44).
It is because of these liars that God is blasphemed among the unbelievers.
For, as it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” (Romans 2:24).
ANGUS BUCHAN’S CHRIST?
Angus Buchan’s Christ is more subtle in his approach to an achieve unity among all the churches (including the Roman Catholic Church) – or is he? This is what uncle Angus believes.
The common denominator between Dion Forster, Graham Power, and Angus Buchan, as with all the other transformational facilitators, is ECUMENICISM which is just another word for interreligious dialogue. How do I know it?
Listen to what oom Angus says in this short video:
That’s what oom Angus thinks but what does God think about people who put His doctrines aside?
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (2 John 1:9)
Today’s transformational Gospel is an ecumenically compromised “Gospel” which is no Gospel at all. Its adherents do not care what you believe as long as you endorse their code of global ethics. (Read more here). How else are they going to tolerate men like Dion Forster who unashamedly endorses someone like Henri le Saux who was a Hindu disguised as a Christian? How else are they going to tolerate clergy from the Roman Catholic fold whom they invited to attend the Cape Town for Jesus rally and who deny the efficacy of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross by claiming that good works, suffering, the mass, indulgences, purgatory, the Blessed Virgin Mary etc. etc. are all part and parcel of the final procurement of one’s salvation? Roman Catholicism adamantly denies that Jesus Christ’s vicarious death on the cross was all-sufficient for our salvation. In fact, they have anathematized every single person who believes that faith and faith alone in the finished work of Christ on the cross saves lost sinners.
Was this perhaps the reason why Angus Buchan spoke in an ethically transformational mode instead of preaching the cross of Jesus Christ as Paul did so eloquently because he did not want to offend the Catholics in his audience? (1 Corinthians 2:2). In a report on the Cape Town for Jesus Day Dion Forster said that Angus Buchan:
“encouraged South Africans to start taking responsibility for the nation, and to start making a really positive contribution towards transformation and renewal in society (which includes elements such as racial reconciliation, shifting the wealth of the nation, and of course also standing against crime and corruption). The second part of his message, says Forster, “encouraged men to live responsibly in their family lives and work lives.” (Emphasis added) – See here for: What did YOU think Revival meant?
See here for: Angus Buchan and the Roman Catholic Reconciliation
Why is it necessary for Angus Buchan to repeat the very same message over and over again at his appearances when South Africa is already in a revival as he claims? Surely if we were already smack-bang in the middle of a mighty revival the men would already have taken responsibility in their homes, the wives would already have been living in submission to their husbands for the sake of Jesus Christ, the children would already have been obedient to their parents in all things, they all would already have taken responsibility for the nation by preaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and last but not least, Graham Power would already have repented in sack and cloth and begged God’s forgiveness for his participation in the Parliament of the World’s Religions held in Cape Town from 1 to 8 December in 1999 and Dion Forster would already have stopped singing the praises of the likes of Henri le Saux and Bede Griffiths. The fact that these things have not happened as of yet and Angus Buchan repeatedly finds it necessary to remind South Africans of their responsibilities is ample proof that we are nowhere near a revival. Yes! a false one, perhaps but not a Holy Spirit and biblically inspired revival.
The revival Angus Buchan and his buddies want is not a revival in the biblical sense of the word but in the transformational sense of the word.
The Bible uses the word “transform” in two diametrically different and opposing ways – in a good and holy way and in an evil and ungodly way. The good and holy way is given in Romans 12:2:
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
An example of the evil and unholy use of the word is in 2 Corinthians.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:13-14)
The way Graham Power and his buddies Dion Forster, Jannie Pelser, Angus Buchan, Isak Burger and many others who promulgate the dominionist paradigm of the Theosophist, Alice Bailey (although they deny it), is nothing but pure evil. Let us briefly look at Bailey’s transformation paradigm.
The global transformation of humanity into one big, “happy family” is definitely on schedule.
The “Masters Morya and Koot Hoomi” told Helena Blavatsky that humanity would be ready for the New Age sometime at the end of the 20th century. According to the Arizona Center for Religious Study a Master or Spiritual Master is a human being who has taken the fifth initiation and is thereby capable of dwelling on the fifth dimension. An Ascended Master is a human being who has taken the sixth initiation and is thereby capable of dwelling on the sixth dimension.
He has regained full union with his Mighty I AM Presence. When a human being has regained full union with his Mighty I AM Presence, that state of full union is referred to as ascension. Technically, a human being ascends when he takes the sixth initiation, and not before then. (Read more here). Supreme Master Ching Hai who played a major roll in the Parliament of the World’s Religions held in Cape Town from 1 to 8 December in 1999 (which was supported and jointly funded by Graham Power) is well-acquainted with Masters Morya and Koot Hoomi. She is regularly mentioned with them on the Supreme Master TV site.
The Plan itself, Alice Bailey was told by the “Tibetan Master,” Djwhal Khul, was to be meanwhile kept among adepts, or trusted occult initiates. “The Plan will be restored on Earth through illumination [initiation] and goodwill [service], and when that takes place Christ will return to Earth.”(“Discipleship in the New Age” II, p.171). How does this tie in with the church? Very easy, when you take into account that the initiation to which the demon Dhwhal Khul refers, is practiced in the church in the form of contemplative meditation (in the Emergent Church), glossolalia and slain in the spirit (in the Charismatic and Pentecostal churches).
In Theosophical circles it is believed that the ascended master MAHA COHEN or the Maha Chohan is a representative of the Holy Spirit to earth and her evolutions. He initiates souls in the secret chamber of the heart and helps them prepare to receive all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, speaking in tongues and interpretation of tongues. In her book The Rays of the Initiation, p. 356, Alice Bailey says: “This event [Pentecost] does not portray the triumph of orthodox Christianity (as the theologians believe and teach), but signifies the universal dissemination of the Christ consciousness throughout all time in the heart of every human being; to this the words and promise, “Lo, I am with you all the days, even until the end of the world,” bear witness.” She says in her book, From Bethlehem to Calvary, “The baptism of John was a step upon the way into the centre, and of more general application than is the baptism of Jesus, for few are ready yet for the second initiation. It is preparatory to that final baptism, for the purification of the emotional nature must precede in time the purification of the mental nature, just as in the evolution of the race (and of a child, likewise) the feeling, sentient man is first developed, and then the mind comes into active life. The baptism which Christ gives His followers concerns the purification of the mind by fire. Fire, under the universal symbolism of religion, is ever symbolic of the mind nature. This baptism by fire is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.“
The second leg of Alice Bailey’s transformations paradigm is goodwill and service. “Self must be lost to sight in service. Service is rapidly becoming the keynote of the time, and one of the incentives in racial endeavour.” (From: Introductory Remarks on Initiation, Chapter I). Therefore doctrine or dogma must either be set aside completely or at least be wrapped in a more universally accepted garb that unites rather than divides people. Bailey writes:
“The Christian church in its many branches can serve as a St. John the Baptist, as a voice crying in the wilderness, and as a nucleus through which world illumination may be accomplished. I indicate the hope. I do not assert a fact. Its work is intended to be the holding of a broad platform. The church must show a wide tolerance, and teach no revolutionary doctrines or cling to any reactionary ideas. The church as a teaching factor should take the great basic doctrines and (shattering the old forms in which they are expressed and held) show their true and inner spiritual significance. The prime work of the church is to teach, and teach ceaselessly, preserving the outer appearance in order to reach the many who are accustomed to church usages. Teachers must be trained; Bible knowledge must be spread; the sacraments must be mystically interpreted, and the power of the church to heal must be demonstrated. The three main channels through which the preparation for the new age is going on might be regarded as the Church, the Masonic Fraternity and the educational field. All of them are as yet in relatively static condition, and all are as yet failing to meet the need and to respond to the inner pressure. But in all of these three movements, disciples of the Great Ones are to be found and they are steadily gathering momentum and will before long enter upon their designated task. The Masonic Movement when it can be divorced from politics and social ends and from its present paralyzing condition of inertia, will meet the need of those who can, and should, wield power. It is the custodian of the law; it is the home of the Mysteries and the seat of initiation. It holds in its symbolism the ritual of Deity, and the way of salvation is pictorially preserved in its work. The methods of Deity are demonstrated in its Temples, and under the All-seeing Eye the work can go forward. It is a far more occult organization than can be realized, and is intended to be the training school for the coming advanced occultists. In its ceremonials lies hid the wielding of the forces connected with the growth and life of the kingdoms of nature and the unfoldment of the divine aspects in man. In the comprehension of its symbolism will come the power to cooperate with the divine plan. It meets the need of those who work on the first Ray of Will or Power.”
I have already documented in this article how Jannie Pelser has discarded the biblical doctrine of salvation in order to “show [its] true and inner spiritual significance” in the manifestation of the Kingdom of God on earth. Rob Bell, another foolhardy false teacher who has no fear of God and has vowed to change the meaning of the virgin birth of Christ, wrote:
I can quote many other well-known “Christians” and “evangelists” who are brazenly trampling God’s doctrines (in obedience to Alice Bailey) under their feet as a token of their goodwill and service to mankind. Suffice is to say that the New Apostolic Movement and its Transformations Paradigm is based entirely on Alice Bailey’s New Age teaching. In her book “Esoteric Psychology, Vol. II, pp. 125 – 133, she says the following about service.
The turning away from the personal self does not relate in any way to a turning away from selfishness, egotism or self-centeredness but a turning away from personal or individual salvation as the Bible defines to a corporate, global awakening of humankind through service.
To quote our dear friend, Jannie Pelser again,
This is vintage Alice Bailey jargon par excellence. I doubt very much whether Pelser has read any of Bailey’s books. There is no need to when her demon has already taken hold of your mind and controlling your thoughts in the very same way it controlled hers. Crime, the “swart gevaar,” Communism, Nihilism, or whatever other “isms” are not South Africa’s enemies – These false teachers are.
South Africa, how much longer are you going to tolerate false teachers and apostles who teach you to limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him. But if their ecumenical transformation Baal is, then follow him.
