Finally, DiscerningTheWorld.Com

I used to own discerningtheworld.wordpress but due to extreme pressure (hate email and death threats) from people within the New Apostolic Reformation, Apostolic and Prophetic, Latter Rain, Word of Faith and Emergent movement).  I deleted my blog.  This was in September 2008.  After a long break I have decided to come back, standing strong again for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

As of July 2009 – with the help of other Christians in South Africa a decision was made to create:

IDENTITY THEFT:  Please be warned there are a few people who have opened a blog called discerningtheworld3.wordpress.com and it would seem they have nothing better to do than insult me all day long.   So if you do land on this fake DTW3 blog, please note that I am NOT associated with them.  Obviously. In fact Discerning the World is NOT associated to any other website out there.  If it does not look like this website, then it’s not us.

COMMENTING:

The following conditions do not mean that that authors of Discerning The World permits only opinions that are in agreement with us. This also does not mean that we fear dissenting opinions or ideas that are contrary to the beliefs that we hold (and/or that of the revealed Scriptures of the Holy Bible).

However, since some abuse has occurred regarding comments on Discerning The World, the following conditions will apply:

All comments on this site are moderated, i.e., they need to be approved before they go live by the Administrator/Moderator.  This is not an automatic process.  Also note that Discerning The World will post all comments, except in these circumstances:

1. If anyone insists on trying to find the full name and where abouts or address of the authors of this website it will not be taken lightly.  We do not want to know who you are, or where you live.   And we do not do meetings.
2. This website is operated and maintained by multiple people, i.e. this is OUR blog. Your readership, participation, and commenting is appreciated but not expected. If you don’t like what you read on here please be aware that you are under no obligation to remain or return to Discerning The World. Conversely if you become a disturbance or nuisance and overstay your welcome, we are under no obligation either to shorten your stay via editing or deleting your comments.
3. You are a guest on the Discerning The World website. Your ability and permission to leave comments on this blog is a privilege, not a right.
4. Discerning The World will not tolerate anyone who sets up camp on this blog merely to disagree with everything that is posted on here.
5. Discerning The World does not need a resident troll either to counter-act or counter-balance articles and comments.  If this is your intention, please take up residency elsewhere.
6. Discerning The World will not tolerate demeaning, harsh-toned, vitriolic, abrasive, coarse, condescending, vindictive, abusive, insulting, disrespectful and/or downright mean-spirited comments, comments repeated across posts, advertising, foul language, multiple usernames for different comments, and blatant lying.  The Administrator/Moderator has no problem what so ever deleting or moderate your comments. 
7. If you leave comments under the disguise of being a ‘fellow’ Christian, yet you consistently espouse ideas antithetical to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith, expect your comments to be moderated much more carefully. It usually takes just one comment from false teachers for our discernment radar to pick up on you and sound the alarms.  Our Administrator thinks and looks like GI Joe.
8. We will not provide a platform for you to spread your seeds of doubt, hate and outright damnable heresies in an attempt to hijack this website for your own beliefs and teaching.  Instead – you will be stripped of the sheep’s cloak you’ve disguised yourself in and you will be driven from the flock like the wolf you are.
9. Discerning The World will not tolerate your intolerance of our intolerance.
10. If you leave a comment like this: “I agree with everything you said, but I don’t like the way you said it,”  then perhaps you would be better off finding a website that you agree with and they say it the way you like.
11. Don’t leave a comment where you ‘judge us’ for ‘judging others’ – we always laugh at these ones, sometimes they are some of out best jokes told at BBQ’s.
12. Discerning The World is a A Genuine Christian website for Genuine Christians.  We are here to defend the Christian faith, stand up for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are not ashamed. 
13. If you leave a comment with links to heretical, apostate websites, etc.  They will be deleted. We reserve the right to redirect readers to the Truth, not further into error.
14. Criticizing us for ‘criticizing’ others is a useless comment and will most probably be deleted so as to not waste space.
15. Lastly and most importantly;  demeaning, harsh-toned, vitriolic, abrasive, coarse, condescending, vindictive, abusive, insulting, disrespectful and/or downright mean-spirited comments against my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the Only Son of God will lead to comments being moderated or deleted.  See point 12.

Discerning The World will not tolerate the above listed unacceptable behavior. If it is found that someone leaving comments on Discerning The World cannot be trusted to do so without violating the above conditions, do not be surprised if your entire comment is deleted without notice.  Without notice means that while you are on your lunch break we will pack your bags for you, clear out your draws and disable your read and write priveledges to read only. 

REPLIES:

1. Some comments might automatically land in the spam section. The Administrator will check regularily and approve any comments that are not considered spam but this is far and few in between. 
2. If your comment was accidentally deleted;  the Administrator apologises in advance and will ask you to post it again.
3. The authors of this website will comment when time permits or deem it necessary to comment. 
4. If we don’t reply to your comment,
   • it’s because we are busy and don’t have time,
   • or feel that your comment has already been  answered in the articles we wrote,
   • or someone has already asked a similar question which has already been answered. 
5. We request you read all the comments written under an article.

GENERAL:

• We do our best to write articles in a very self explanatory manner for all to understand and will always give credit to the original author of the article we reference.  The entire point of this website is to give credit to the others material – because we are EXPOSING false teachers and their teachings.
• If you don’t understand what it written please consult the Word of God (remembering to read it correctly, in context, with no twisting of scripture). 
• We will NEVER tell anyone to listen to what we have to say, and will always request you consult the Bible for yourself.  This is why we have the Word of God at our disposal, so we don’t have to take another’s word for it - but can read God’s Word for ourselves. 
• Jesus Christ the Son of God commands us to test everything that is said to His Word.  The Holy Spirit abides in born again Christians as your counselor and comforter and will always lead genuine Christians into all truth, understanding and remembrance of Jesus Christ when studying the Word of God.
• There is only ONE truth.  You can’t agree to disagree with the Bible – ever!

EMAILING: 

• If you wish to contact us personally, you can email discerningtheworld_dtp@gmail.com.  Please delete the part that says ‘_dtp’ within the first part of the email address as this is my anti-spam control. If you don’t delete this part I will not receive your email – It will bounce back to you.
• Important!  We cannot guarantee you will get a personal response.  We do read all emails that land in our inbox, but due to time constraints as I mentioned above, you might not receive a reply.
• Preferably post your comment out in the open, as there may be others out there commenting who can assist you with an answer or just give a general reply to your comment.  
• Posting your comments out in the open casts your beliefs in stone – for all to see.
• We reserve the right to post your emails with your name (we will not post your email address) under it’s relevant article if you insist on emailing me with unbiblical nonsense, nasty emails, threats, etc.  In this instance we will notify you with a link to the article, where your email was copied and pasted as a comment.  If you don’t like the article we posted your email/comment under, don’t email us.

So no matter who you are. So just do yourself a favour and comment instead of emailing us.
