Please read this little article on: assurance of salvation, vs working for your salvation I know this article is about Calvinism letter “P” in TULIP, but the same applies to anyone who believes they can lose their salvation.

I wonder if Young claims he was ever saved in his youth? I don’t deny he is apostate. I just wonder if he ever had a genuine faith in Christ. Sadly, I saw an atheist’s blog the other day, someone who used to be a Christian and minister. He said he really loved the Lord. Now it’s all a fairy tale to him. :-(I wonder, if salvation is secure, could God permit long term spiritual warfare of the sort that causes one to turn away? I do know we our responsible to trust and abide in Christ. It’s puzzling…

A person who is genuinely saved will never regret his or her salvation and turn from Christ.

For godly grief and the pain God is permitted to direct, produce a repentance that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret, but worldly grief (the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world) is deadly [breeding and ending in death]. ( 2 Corinthians 7:10).

The ‘they’ in John 17 ‘may be as one’ is obviously being used for this ‘unity’.
‘They’ did not include the unsaved. It is a ‘tale of two kingdoms.’ As for kingdoms,
yes Jesus prayed ‘your kingdom come,’ but He will bring it, not us. He came to save
the lost souls, when we get saved we enter His kingdom. But He brings the restoration
of paradise when He returns, the curse is removed, sin, the fall and the devil, etc.
and one goes the way of heaven and the other ‘kingdom’ that remains fallen to hell;
the lake of fire.

Oh my goodness RJ. Have you watched the crime channels on satellite tv? They have stories just like this. Stalkers or ‘Psychopaths’ they are called and I think ‘trying to break into your house’ is a crime. It’s called attempted burglary. Even his friends trying to get into your house is attempted burglary. You have to report this to the police. I think there is even now law in America to protect you from people like this – not sure if it’s State dependent through. The longer you don’t report him the longer he gets away with it and the cops will find it weird why you didn’t report all of this sooner. And the worse it will get, until he tries to actually physically hurt you. What is his real aim in trying to get into your house?

As for laughing at someone’s burning lawn in their garden, gosh. Also how does someone’s lawn just catch fire? Never heard of that before. Unless it was set on fire with something flamable.

Or there are those who may think I can’t handle life so I’m looking for an escape…. I see each day as “challenges” not troubles, we all have various tribulations we deal with… but escape: Well YEAH!! In fact, we’re told to pray to be counted worthy TO escape!! Luke 21:36 To escape the snare that is about to fall on every left behind person on this planet.

If it helps any you guys to know, we’re in good company, as King David and Jesus both had their friends who’d broken bread with them, turn on THEM…. and “kick up their heel against them”!!

I just look forward to all the eternal fellowship we’ll soon be able to enjoy in heaven!!

This goes along nicely with people turning their backs on us…{I’ll do my best to condense} our neighbor, 3 doors down, and my DH know each other as this neighbor once conducted my DH’s band.

The neighbor is “supposedly” a Christian: goes to the First Church of Laodecia each & every Sunday, laughs at the preacher’s jokes, comes home. For the past 4-5 years, he has CHRONICALLY tried to break into our home!! He, his wife and DD & SIL are all in on it. I presume they hold a “grudge” from 16 years ago when he & my DH “mutually” parted ways {this guy was a control freak}.

Most of the time, he puts his crony home-improvement friends up to trying to get in. Because this is ongoing, we’ve got an alarm, security cameras, all the bells & whistles… which are visibly obvious. That doesn’t DETER him AT ALL…. In fact, only makes him more stubborn & determined to get in!! {which makes me honestly wonder if he’s demon possessed!!} He tries repeatedly, all year long. On numerous occasions he’s sent different people down here to spy on us or peek into our windows, etc. His wife’s “hobby” every Friday night was to stand on the street corner, across the street and peer in here! Till we finally put the security cameras up.

The most SINISTER part of all this is he keeps all this “well hidden” from my husband! As a result, my DH has a tough time believing it entirely [which further hurts my heart … I remind him, however, he WILL believe every jot & tittle when he watches the “video playback” on Judgment Day!!]

Even yesterday this neighbor, Robert, stood in his front yard intently staring at me for 2 full minutes… but my DH was busy mowing & had his back to him. Some how my DH just never manages to notice. Robert makes sure of that.
I’m at my wit’s end, I’m about ready to finally involve the police, yet I don’t think there’s anything they can do for “desire or intent” to break into someone’s home!!

I’d move in a heartbeat! Just that in our current situation, we would not qualify. So right now I’m trying to leave it in the Lord’s Hands. If HE wants us to move, He’ll have to provide a way.

Just how dangerous is this guy? I truly believe his entire heart is EVIL to the core!! When he first noticed the security cameras, he’d drive by & flip us off. And early this year a neighbor had a fire…. Her entire lawn burnt up, fortunately not the house. THIS NEIGHBOR, Robert, was standing across the street LAUGHING the entire time while watching the firemen hose down the yard!!! What KIND of person does that?? Surely a mentally deranged, demon possessed person!! Though I have no proof (again till Judgment Day) I do indeed have to wonder if “maybe” he even set the fire?!! Seeing as how it’s obvious we’re friends with these other neighbors. And if that was the case, was he trying to burn them out? Would that seared conscience not even give a flip if someone would’ve burned to death?????!! Would he just have continued LAUGHING??

Mainly I’m telling you to let you know I surely covet your prayers!! Along with the prayers of any REAL Christian reading this. Thank you, thank you!!

Till we’re out of harm’s way, no matter what “security” measures we take, I truly believe with my whole heart it’s only the prayers of God’s people – the reason angels are keeping watch over us – and this derelict hasn’t gotten into our home yet!!

There are so many other things in life I could be doing if I wasn’t having to constantly endure this nonsense.

And of course it makes me long for heaven all the more!! Where never again for all eternity, will we have to “watch over our backs”!! Because heaven is paradise with Jesus, where righteousness dwells and where no abomination will be allowed to enter in!! Amen!! Even so, come Lord Jesus!!

Tom put in a tremendous amount of work on this article and it was even a massive eye opener to me. The depth of deception within the Christian church today is beyond what I ever imagined. Then what did I do after I read it? I went and accidentally restored a backup of the website to 2 days before Tom published (Part 1) live online for everyone. His article was no longer. :shocked: I was close to a nervous breakdown. :horrified:

I am learning a lot here! [was actually IN SHOCK that even Seventh Day Adventists partnered with rcc last year!] Your work is not for “naught” and will be highly rewarded by THE KING (Jesus) Himself. Would seem with worldwide apostasy, that time is soon!

For those still on the fence or undecided: if something disagrees with Scripture even just a “little bit” then it is still not for us (Christians!) But if everything about it differs with Scripture — then run, run, run for the hills!! And never look back!! Remember Lot’s wife!!

Let’s consider this again.. Eve rationalized within herself 1. the tree was GOOD FOR FOOD… “practical” right?
2. PLEASANT to the eye (notice! Not evil, not ugly, but PLEASANT!! Pretty! Enjoyable! “Only” fruit, what would God care?!)
3. and to be DESIRED “to make one wise” {wish this site offered a “snake” icon here! as much as I hate them… bleah!]

She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

SHE **WANTED** the wisdom!! Ah-ha!! Just like you’ve mentioned as well, Tom, that the (many) false teachers abound because people WANT/DESIRE them!! They WANT their ears to be tickled!!
