I learnt something very interesting today. Did you know that in Buddhism they believe in reincarnation. Ok that’s not the interesting part…the interesting part is when a human or animal dies they must be left to die it’s own natural death because pain and suffering is supposed tö be part of the reincarnation process. Because according to them there is no God so the pain and suffering is like the judgement ior purification during the reincarnation process

Now anti pretribbers believe they have to die or sacrifice their lives during tribulation as a purification process of the bride of Christ.

What’s worse: believing that Jesus will rapture us before tribulation starts and He comes….leaving millions of nominal/’likewam Christians behind. Two things can happen
1) people realise they weren’t saved at all and go all out to find the truth and get saved during tribulation period.
2) people’s hearts turn stone cold against Jesus Christ for being left behind, some will cry, others will slam their fists into the ground cursing God.

Or believing that Jesus will rapture us before tribulation starts and He doesn’t come…leaving millions of genuine Christians very confused. Two things can happen
1) I don’t see how believing in the rapture and it not happening is going to change my mind and make me turn my back on Jesus Christ. It was I who got it wrong, not Jesus.
2) if rapture does not happen before tribulation and people turn away from Jesus Christ that easily,I tell you now they wouldn’t have been caught up to be with the Lord in the first place if there was a rapture as they were nothing but lukewarm to start with.

I do agree that the Pretrib rapture is an idol for those who love the world and just want to get out of here before they have to suffer. it is dangerous because, when the promise of removal does not come, many will be offended and lose faith. Jesus mentioned this in his parable of the sower. Those whose root is not deep will fall away.
But you did say that teaching against the PreTrib rapture is equal to vilifying Jesus.
