Dear Susan Simpson

Sorry to tell you but you were never born again to begin with. You were an unbeliever before you so called committed this unforgivable sin of yours. You still and will always have a choice, you can stay they way you are because you want to be that way, or you can always come to Jesus Christ and repent because you hate the way you are and truly believe in Him to be truly born again.

Thanks for listening.

Hi Susan, The fact that you feel remorse proves that you have NOT committed the unforgivable sin. Jesus extends his heartiest invitation for you to repent in Matthew 11:28-30.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Mat 11:28-30).

You can do it today if you want to. In fact, you can do it right now. He will never cast you away. Do not let the devil keep you away from Jesus.

Naand Tom,
Dankie by voorbaat.

Sonde teen die Heilige Gees

My uitgangspunte by hierdie beredenering is as volg:

4:12; Spr. 30:5]

Woorde is baie belangrik, want dit verskaf betekenisse.

Verskillende griekse woorde is gebruik in hierdie twee vertalings;

daar is dus twee verkillende betekenisse van Lukas 21:36;

watter vertaling is die waarheid, want hulle verskil;

Dear Laurens
Scripture declares that its text is a work of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Peter 1:21 tells us, "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Lord clearly views the integrity of His Word as a critical concern. In Revelation 22:19, John is specifically told (regarding the Book of Revelation), "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, andfrom the things which are written in this book."

Now while this specifically addresses the prophecies of Revelation, we certainly can take an application as to how the Lord regards those who would deliberately corrupt His Word.

Since the "Gospel" is inextricably a part of Scripture, Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote, "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

God's clear admonition concerning His Word comes early in the Scriptures. In Deuteronomy 4:2, the Lord states, "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."

In Proverbs 30:5-6, we are exhorted, "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."

We can have no doubt how the Lord views His Word and we can conclude that a deliberate twisting of the Word of God is clearly a sin against its author.

Thank you for writing.

I know how you feel. I had sudden blashemous thoughts and I knew it was an attack from satan.I have some form of ocd but bind it Jesus name and renew your thoughts (Romans 12:2) I found the open door that led to these things and the open door was I didn't have enough faith to believe God loves me like all His children. It was an ongoing battle for more than a year and I'm only getting victory now bit by bit day by day. Stay in die Word of God, pray without ceasing and ask God to help you memorise scripture and use it to war against demonic attacks.
(James 4:7)

Also remember there are a lot of bothers and sisters in Christ going through the same. Pray for them also and don't give up, you WILL have victory over this with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Daniel Soares

Please read those articles Tom gave you in the comment above. Also please read here: seeking-salvation-deliverance

Just to let you know Daniel, you can ask Jesus for forgiveness for your sin, but you must too want to change your ways, and you can only do this with the help of the Holy Spirit :nod: So, ask Jesus for forgiveness, accept that you are forgiven and thank Jesus for forgiving you and then tell Jesus Christ you WANT to and WILL change your ways. You ask Jesus Christ to help you change your ways, to give you the strength to change your ways.

With your OCD ask Jesus Christ in prayer to give you the strength to stop, it's not a good idea to seek outside human sources to give you psychological life skills to get your OCD under control, the best is to ASK JESUS CHRIST to give you the strength to stop and then THANK HIM :smile: And you keep asking Jesus to give you the strength to stop until it's under control. But first sort out your salvation Daniel and your blasphemous thoughts (See article seeking-salvation-deliverance)

Please stay away from the doctrine of Calvinism. You are saved Daniel, not chosen (predestined) by God to be Elect before the foundation of the world or worse chosen by God to go to hell.

[Edited by DTW - I am not saying that people with OCD or people who have blasphemous thoughts are not saved, heaven forbid. Christians suffer from OCD and many other disorders and many Christians go through times in their lives where Satan attacks them with blasphemous thoughts. This comment above is to Daniel Soares and him alone.
However all Christians with OCD must ask Jesus Christ in prayer to give them the strength to stop or get it under control.]
