Robbie,

I feel for you Hannah, my grandmother was the same except it was the Word of Faith doctrine (which is nothing other than Roman Catholicism in disguise) and she treated me and my mom in a very similar way.
Numerous times I have tried to tell my mother of the fallacies of the apparitions of Mary beside the other false teachings of the Catholic church. She told me she does not want to hear it. I believe she is brainwashed. Ever since I have told her the truth she has changed towards me. She will not call ne UNLESS she wants me to do something for her. When I call her the attitude is why are you calling me. I still pray for her but I really believe she does not want to know the truth. She even said to me you and that s-----n bible. I told her there are no saints. I told her the apostle Paul said that everyone who has received Jesus as their Savior is a saint. Her response a winey " I don't care, I don't care!" I told her she is going to care when she dies but then it will be too late. She always hangs up on me. My brother who is supposedly a Christian refuses to say anything to her because he does not want to get her upset. Sometimes I question if he is really born again. A good thing for Catholics to ponder is this: If Mary was born without sin then why couldn't she die on the cross????

This is a really good article. I remember reading Avro Manhattan's "Catholic Terror Today" around the late 1970s, which included pictures of a priests fraternising with the Nazis.
Chinquy's "Fifty Years in the Church of Rome" is another book worth reading, of a French priest's experiences in the Church of Rome. So is the book by John Cornwell, "Hitler's Pope." It's about Pope Pius XII. (Cornwell, himself a Catholic, was allowed access to the Vatican archives. But, unfortunately for the Vatican, Mr Cornwell was more an objective historian than devout Catholic. The same goes for David Yallop, a former Catholic who has published a couple of books on the papacy--"In God's Name" and "The Power and the Glory." Edmund Paris' "The Secret History of the Jesuits" is another book I'd recommend for anyone who wants to know what goes on among the higher echelons of the Vatican.
It is understandable that Catholics are duped into believing that their church is actually Christian. I was "taught" at Catholic schools so, as a child I believed that the Catholic Church was the true church. But what is really sad is that Protestants believe it is a Christian church. Such a thing is wishful thinking.
Protestants, especially ecumenical ones, were shocked when the last pope, Benedict, stated that Unam Sanctam still stood--i.e., that there is no salvation outside of the Catholic church. The ecumenists imagined that Vatican II annulled it. However, that was in their minds. It didn't happen at Vatican II. All that happened was that the then pope (John XXIII) stopped publicly calling Protestants "heretics" but (as a sop to the latter) instead called them "Separated Brethern." Vatican II said nothing about Unam Sanctam being annulled.
Wishful thinking is not a good idea. It tends to backfire on the wishful thinkers.

Hi Jasmine,

The apostle Paul says in Hebrews,

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Heb 1:1-2)

Note that he says in the Old Testament God spoke in diverse ways unto the fathers (patriarchs, kings etc.) by the prophets. These diverse ways were among other things visions and dreams, in a quite breeze and even in a storm at times. When Jesus came to us in the flesh, these diverse ways were no longer necessary because He - the Word made flesh - spoke to the people and is still speaking to us through his written Word, the Bible. Everything that is necessary to know about God, his Son and the Holy Spirit, heaven and hell, the end-times, salvation, sanctification and so forth are contained between the pages of Genesis to Revelation. Peter and two other disciples - James and John - heard God speaking directly to them out of a cloud on the mount of configuration when Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the mount. Just imagine how wonderful and awesome this must have been. Yet Peter writes in his second epistle that we have a more sure word of prophecy than their awesome experience - the Word of God.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peters 1:16-21).

Therefore, if I were you, I would rather rely on God's Word (the Bible) than on dreams and visions. Incidentally, you haven't told us what your dreams about Jesus are like. Would you mind telling us?

Hey Deborah hello I saw quite a bit of some false teacher posts. One I believe last time I saw was about Joyce Meyer but anyway. What teachers/preachers do you trust? There's another one called Charles Stanley. I listen to him also online, but I am wondering if you trust him. Let me know what you found false in him. And what preachers you recommend that you concerned biblically aligned with the bible. Thanks! I got out a lot that's why and I am in college and I hardly have time to get into a church that I can trust. Anyway I am online a lot more then I am moving around. So much work. But let me know which ones you trust and prefer for me. Thank you!

The Interfaith Alliance is a product of apostasy and all Christians should be aware.
www.iwgonline.org is a project of the Interfaith Working Group

The pages referenced here are a good starting point for learning about gay rights, reproductive freedom, the separation of church and state, and the diversity of religious opinion. We also maintain a regularly updated summary of current debates on these issues, and a page of links organized by religious tradition. http://www.iwgonline.org/links/bytradition/

This page is part of the Interfaith Working Group Online, though most of the pages referenced here belong to groups and individuals who are not Interfaith Working Group supporters. For commentaries by our clergy supporters, read our pulpit page.
http://www.iwgonline.org/about.shtml

This is not what the Bible teaches! It will take courage to preach anti-cultural truths from the pulpit. Why am I so worried? http://www.firstthings.com/article/2013/12/evangelical-retreat What church leaders in America are preaching, is that we have no need to confront those with an agenda who come against the faith. They say that instead we need to show them love and compassion. Evil sees that as surrender and a validation of their wickedness. Those who think they can ignore, compromise or be ‘equal’ with sin – will be conquered by it. Sin is not content to co-exist alongside righteousness. It will attempt to subjugate and eradicate the righteous so as to avoid any sense of shame for wrongdoing.

Conservatives have often concentrated on winning political battles, while leaving the culture firmly in the hands of liberals. Despite the victories of the Reagan years and the conservative takeover of Congress, "progressives" continue to dominate the art world, the educational establishment, the entertainment industry, the media, and other culture-making institutions. The inevitable consequence has been family breakdown, sexual promiscuity, abortion, crime, and educational fraud, as well as the inability to distinguish between elephant dung and actual works of art

Study these sites and know how far the Christian Left has deviated from Scripture.

Radical Religious Right Pages (This is a great List for me to use to know the sites I can trust)

[removed by DTW, I am sorry Jerry but a few of these that you have listed are not Christian, some are Latter Rain / Word of Faith and Freemason. Many radical right 'Christian' ministries are not Christian at all.]

Despite the victories of the Reagan years and the conservative takeover of Congress, “progressives” continue to dominate the art world, the educational establishment, the entertainment industry, the media, and other culture-making institutions. The inevitable consequence has been family breakdown, sexual promiscuity, abortion, crime, and educational fraud, as well as the inability to distinguish between elephant dung and actual works of art
