Hi Dan Here is an article on Lordship Salvation – Putting the Cart Before the Horse But I don't think it's Lordship salvation that is uniting the Christian church with the Roman Catholic Church, what is uniting them is the Eucharist Christ - the Charismatics 'Jesus' is the same 'Jesus' as the Catholics hence they can join hands and sing songs around a fire. The false spirit that has invaded the Christian church can now melt back in to where to comes from - the Roman Cahtolic Church. You see many years ago The Vatican started a project called Vatican II - Billy Graham was part of Vatican II - he was the mighty (but under disguise) Pentecostal preacher who swept through the world and preached what is today known as 'Pentecostalism'. Pentecostalism and even Charismaticism - these are actually birthed from Vatican II. Rome knew the only way to get the Christians to join hands with them would be to infiltrate them from the word go. Maybe a bit off topic, but still regarding the Emergent Church’s gospel. Actually, regarding the gospel preached by the whole ecumenical movement. What kind of gospel makes it possible for fundamental evangelicals to unite with the Catholics? It is the “Lordship Salvation” gospel of works. I’ve been trying to explain to a friend what exactly Lordship Salvation is and what is wrong with it. Unfortunately, my explanation falls short. Do you happen to have an article on it somewhere?

The Emergent Church is fraught (“vrot”) with the word “journey.” In Buddhism it is said that not the destination but the journey itself is the most important part of one’s life. Johan Geyser of the Mosaic Church said on one of their conferences.

“And now, the very interesting thing: where is it revealed? In ordinary life in the kitchen – in community, that’s where it is revealed. . . . Now here’s a big thing, Jesus says, Martha, look at Mary. Do what Mary do (sic). The suggestion? That’s the way you will get rid of your worry. That’s the way that you work with your inside. That’s the way to go on this inner journey that you need.”

It reminds me of a song “Caravan” some years ago. One of the phrases are: “We don’t know where we’re going but we’re going.”
