One thing seems to be certain – after reading this article again – Strom was right when he said they were waiting for the revival of the RCC. I discussed with Deborah that I found it strange that there were so many “revivals” worldwide that are also suffering massive persecution… only to discover that these “new” churches are mostly either Roman Catholic or have a strong Ecumenical character.

After little research I discovered that this “movement” is driven by the ecumenical Elam Ministries and endorsed by “world famous “Christian leaders”, Dr Ravi Zacharias, Anne Graham Lotz, Francis Chan, Jill and Stuart Briscoe, Dr George O. Wood and Dr Louie Giglio – which shared messages of support and prayer for the Iranian church as it receives the new Persian Bible translation”

I am not saying Christians are not being persecuted, but the extent is not what is being portrayed in the media. Or maybe it is but we don’t see that in the media.

More proof we live in times of apostasy and not massive revival.

As Debbie says… thousands are dying and persecuted for a false Christ.

Lee Grady's alleged dream or vision of a tsunami hitting the Vatican as an indication that the RCC is on the verge of a total transformation is just another way to soft-soap the Word of Faith, Charismatic and NAR adherents to accept the RCC as true Christians and to merge with them. Kenneth Copeland and Joel Osteen together with other WOF and NAR followers have already shown that they want to get into bed with the whore of Babylon. In fact, they've already done so. They are definitely not yoked to Jesus; they have yoked themselves to a whore. It is common practice among the WOF and NAR false teachers to supposedly have visions and dreams so that they may convince their followers so much the better and easier. They never test these visions and dreams in the light of Scripture to make sure whether it's from God or not. They just accept it at face value making them so much the more vulnerable for deception. I can assure you that they are not yoked to Jesus. Bearing in mind that you are so easily deceived, I need to ask you whether you are yoked to Jesus. Those who are truly yoked to Him will not be deceived. As you said, "You shall know the Truth and the Truth will set you free." Lee Grady's dream is a lie and cannot set you free.

I must agree with bob baker. Im grieved by what i read. Im reminded of the pharisees when reading these posts. Just by asking such a question if bob is saved shows a very proud and judgemental attitude. Dear brethren, i think we, in our quest for truth, have forgotten that Truth is a person and has a name. And he prayed for us back then in the garden, that “they all may be one, Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me” (John 17:21)

The King gave His followers a new command, only moments after He had taken on the lowest servant’s job: “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples” (John 13:34-35).

My heart aches for you, because ive been on the road you have chosen for most of my life. I trust that The Holy Spirit will guide you to Truth and that Truth will set you free and you will find rest. In the meantime, as you “act like wild animals, hurting and harming each other, then watch out, or you will completely destroy one another” (Galatians 5:15- another translation says “lest you devour one another”).

No one on this site is judging a person or persons. What we are doing, is to judge - and that's precisely what every mature Christian should do (1 Cor 2:15) - their doctrines. Why? Because Paul warns that Satan is capable of presenting himself as an angel of light and that his followers are also able to present themselves as teachers of righteousness. Do you have no compassion for those who have been misled and are on the path that leads to destruction?

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (Jas 5:19-20)

Could it be that you have no compassion for people who are on their way to destruction because you yourself are on that road? Are you saved?

This Site proves a prophecy I had heard that said the greatest event for “the christian body” is it devouring itself. I am amazed at how many of you are trying to prove you are more biblically correct, or more insightful, or more holy! I am saddened by what I have read on this Site and several others I have visited tonight. You attack each other like a pack of wolves and believe that some how you are God’s anointed and the only one that is a keeper of the “truth”. You all fall into the same “religious” bigotry that you are trying to label the other with. “You don’t talk like me, you don’t dress like me, you don’t smell like me” so you’re not of God Jehovah.

Who appointed any of you to be a judge of your “brother”? I have read articles and watched videos of most of you and find you have good insight until this Site. You are all trying to expose deceit and truth but why are you trying to upstage each other? A person who says they are Pentecostal is branded a heretic just like the Roman religion has done for hundreds of years with people that didn’t conform to their “authority”.

I have been doing research for 8 years and will publish a book in the next year about the false teachings of the “christian” religions and will use some of the information from Sites like this. It is still true what Paul said, “Why do you say I am of Apollos, I am of Paul, …..”. We all see things from a different orientation like the “blind men and the elephant”. But it all comes down to the same picture. We are all different members of the same Body. All “christian” denominations come from the religion of Rome and they perpetuate the false teachings.

On the last question on the Site about tongues. Maybe wrong, as is possible, but tongues are your language that comes from your unique make up as is your finger print or, as the medical field has found, your heat beat. When I was in the Air Force I met a guy who had been going to UCLA to get his doctorate in linguistics. His findings were that we all have a unique area of the brain that imprints language and encodes and decodes audible input to be able to learn the language we speak. The Spirit showed me that our “heavenly language” comes from that personal unique area that gives us the ability to speak. Believe it or not! That’s my view and I’m sticking with it. If this doesn’t witness with you then ignore it.

It’s truly sad that there are so many false doctrines and people who believe in these erroneous doctrines. I personally grew up in a cult “church” called the “United House of Prayer for All People” started by a FALSE prophet which members called DADDY GRACE. Not only is it sad to find out so many are deceived, but it’s also tiring. I’ve been studying these things for over 25 years. While I do agree with some of those who commented about false tongues and the Catholic Church being the Great Harlot of Babylon (in Revelation), I don’t believe that “tongues” or speaking in tongues ended with the Apostles. This is one of the teachings promoted by the (false/apostate) Rome Church. I can’t speak for William Parham, wasn’t around when Montanism started, but I wouldn’t count all of those who were Montanists, Sabellians as heretics. Just because many people who speak in “tongues” may be knowingly or unknowingly imitating others, or have demons, doesn’t mean everyone who has spoken in tongues since the first century is doing so. The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 14:39 – “forbid not to speak in tongues.” It just has to be done in decently and in order. (1st Corinthians 14:40) And where the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 13:8-9 that tongues will cease, we also read that knowledge will pass away and prophesy will cease. Knowledge hasn’t passed away and God’s prophesy hasn’t ceased. If knowledge and prophesy remain, and they do, tongues should not be done away with. We just need to have discernment and not fall for anyone who starts “babbling” or someone who says (legitimate) speaking in tongues ended with the Apostles.

You are so right, some people only come out of the delusion half way. They can’t take a step back right out of it. It’s as if they fear that if they do they might be wrong and miss out of a ‘great move of God’ or go against His Word. It’s very sad.

Since having my eyes opened to the labyrinth of deception in the charismatic movement and “jumping off the Titanic into a life boat”, I have discovered- as I’m sure others such as Deborah and Thomas have- how difficult it is to bring others out. On one hand, people like Andrew Strom can recognize and expose certain overt operations of the kundalini spirit, which is a ‘counterfeit Holy Spirit’ or “another spirit” as Paul warns believers about in 2 Cor. 11 v.4. Yet on the other hand, they stay within the charismatic movement, failing to see that ‘a bad tree cannot produce good fruit’. It is akin to calling a professional snake handler to help you be rid of snakes in your back yard ,while housing some as pets in your home, ie. rejecting certain demons while continuing to embrace others (or really, the same ones operating in a different way).
Thus we have so-called “reformed charismatics”, charismatics at Calvary Chapel speaking against the excesses of the NAR and Signs and Wonders movements, charismatics writing books exposing Word of Faith etc. etc. It seems difficult for people entangled by these false spirits to step back fully and examine the entire movement in the light of the Word and Church history. In my case, once the false visions of Kenneth Hsgin were exposed to me (I am a Tulsa Rhema graduate) and I saw that the demonic manifestations at Toronto, Lakeland etc were identical to those witnessed at Azusa St and in the so-called Bible School in Kansas run by the heretic Charles Parham (who was a member of the KKK, charged with more than one count of sodomy and a follower of the heretic Frank Sandford), I couldn’t flee the movement quick enough.
The early church fathers (some of whom had close links to the Apostle John) make reference to a gift of divinely-granted FOREIGN languages as in Acts 2 (which they state ceased), but had no knowledge of so-called ‘heavenly/angelic languages’ and make no mention of another experience/baptism with/in the Holy Spirit. These false tongues were (and still are) common among pagans and infiltrated the church in various periods through hereticsa such as Montanus (2nd century) and the Shakers (18th century). I have read of Voodoo practitioners visiting Pentecostal services and identifying the ‘tongues’ as identical to the kind they practice when possessed by spirits which they call ‘fallen angels’. Re a ‘second experience beyond salvation’ with the Holy Spirit, we have John Wesley to thank for this. He may have brought many from dead churchianity to the new birth in Christ, but his belief in a ‘second blessing’ led to the Holiness movement and many aberrant doctrines and demonic manifestations as deceived believers sought ‘sinless perfection’ via this so-called ‘second blessing’. The charismatic movement is a direct outgrowth from that heresy. Parham believed the evidence of this ‘second blessing’ would be ‘tongues’, however history is clear that early Pentecostals believed they were speaking in foreign, earthly languages until they went on mission trips and fell flat on their faces babbling words no one could understand. Rather than admitting they had been in grave doctrinal error, the notion of a ‘heavenly, unknown-to-all-but-God prayer language’ was concocted and a tsunami of ever-increasing heresy (including ‘Jesus Only’, ‘Latter Rain’, ‘Word of Faith’, ‘New Apostolic Reformation’,’Hyper grace’ etc etc) has poured forth leading to the spiritual train-wreck that is deceiving 800 million plus people on earth today. Saved and unsaved alike are- I believe- entangled in this demonic web. The former are at grave risk of apostasy, the latter are blinded by a false “cheap grace/seeker sensitive” gospel which moves daily further away from the true gospel of Christ. The recent coming together of charismatics with evangelicals (eg. Stephen Furtick embracing Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes and Joyce Meyer) and Catholicism (via Copeland,Rick Warren, Beth Moore and others) and the all-pervasive tentacles of the NAR/Bethel/IHOP/Hillsong movements into many churches is clearly leading to the prophesied one-world false church which will welcome AntiChrist as Christ. To these deceived zealots, Bible-believing Christians who speak out against their heresies are the “enemy” who they believe God will judge and rid the earth of. I could be wrong, but I think the rapture- which many in these false movements deny- will be seen as a JUDGMENT of God on the “rebellious” who are hindering the manifestation of their erroneous version of God’s kingdom on the earth.
Nonetheless, it obviously takes a miracle from God for people blinded by this false Holy Spirit to come completely out of this delusion. Perhaps deep down they love the delusion and won’t let go of it despite the evidence presented to them (which they may be able to accept “to a point”). It was devastating to me to realize that most of what I had been believing and experiencing as a charismatic Word of Faith adherent was from a lying spirit. Maybe it’s hard for some who have based so much of their doctrines on their experiences (and those of people who they have placed on pedestals) to even consider that they could have been so wrong for so long. After getting over the shock, I realized it was the best thing the Lord has done for me in my entire 34+ years as a born again believer and have been thankful daily ever since. However, most of those in the charismatic scene who I have shared with have dismissed me completely (and sometimes insultingly). As Deborah pointed out in another topic, it is a lonely walk- but better to be on that narrow path and suffer rejection for the sake of the gospel than have lots of company on the wide road to eternal death.
