You should make very sure that it is not you who is blaspheming the Holy Spirit by attributing to Him that is clearly not of Him.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Co 11:13-15)

This is the ONLY miracle that happened this way. No one can replicate it or use this example and say “well, Jesus also did a partial healing….therefore that explains away all the faith healers in the world today who lay hands on people and then tell you you will gradually get better…it takes time, just have faith.”

If you fall for that one, then you are like the disciples in this passage. And Jesus would well say to you “How is it that ye do not understand?”

Jesus never makes a mistake!

How about you do some bible study yourself. You tell me why Jesus did what He did. I’ll give you a hint; Jesus is using this specific miracle as a parable.

It wasn’t a mistake, or a failed healing or a partial healing, so what happened there? If you don’t know after going to diligently seek the truth yourself, say so, and I will explain to you exactly what happened here.
