There is much to say about the above bible, but if I started I would get a bit carried away so the only thing I am going to say about Morris’ bible is this:

Luke 4 v 5-8

⁵And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.  ⁶And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.  ⁷“Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours.  ⁸Jesus answered him, “It is written, YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.”

• Word of Faith affirms this by teaching that we can ‘speak things into existence’ just as God did when He created the earth.

Explanation – Spiritual warfare:

• Spiritual warfare conducted through intense worship and praise
• Spiritual mapping (geographical areas are hotspots for gateways and portals)
• Identifying strongholds (hatred, adultery, heresies, jealousy, idolatry, murder, etc)
• Rebuking demonic powers and binding territorial spirits (people go through areas in towns, etc on prayer walks and rebuke demonic spirits out of buildings)
• Spiritual warriors and Intercessors (are used to pray for people, increase membership of churches, even hired out to ‘Christian’ businesses to pray for increase in wealth
• Immobilizing prayer groups (see above under Joel’s army)

Explanation –

• Transformation/Reformation and Unity based on ‘Christian principles’ or ‘Kingdom Values’ or ‘Christ values’
• Areas targeted:  family, the community, the arts, sciences, media, law, government, schools and business  (Known as the 7 Mountains or 7 Spheres withing the New Apostolic Reformation Movement who twist the below verse:)

Matthew 28:18-20

 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.”

 

The purpose of this ‘spiritual warfare’ is this:  If you bind and rebuke demonic spirits out of family, homes, businesses, friends, their families, your suburb, town, city, province, country –  then God can move in and transform peoples lives.  

As someone very smart once said (I forget who):

“If so many people are binding him, who on earth keeps letting him go?”

All of this warfare is not scriptural, God never ever told us to go out seeking the enemy and then confronting it.  Secondly, Jesus defeated Satan at the cross; Jesus Christ bound the strongman 2000+ years ago.

There is more (as there always is) to this unsound teachings and this is one of attaining perfection in one’s Christian life.  Which now brings us back to the we are little gods teaching.

• Multiple anointings – there is an anointing for everything
• They are transferable – anointings can be passed onto others or things
• Strange manifestations usually accompany anointings which will be passed onto you if you read this book.

Explanation – The message of Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow SO WHY do we have to change the way we think and pray?  Hmmm I know of someone called Satan who has been trying to change the Word of God since the beginning.

• Cerullo refers to himself as Dr. Cerullo although he does not have any degree earning him this title.
• He says he was led out of a Jewish orphanage by two angelic beings; transported to heaven for a face- to-face meeting with God.
• Has the ability to predict the future.
• Can heal the sick (with no proof)
• Has told audiences when they look at him they “are looking at God.”
• He also asks them to “give me your pocket books.”
