I'm told that there are over 40 verses in the New Testament relating to the PRETribulation Rapture. I have found about 8-10 of them so far and another I found once but haven't found again yet - and I believe it is in one of the Corinthians. Anyway, as you said to 'petro'. WHO would want to crucify our Savior, our altogether lovely Jesus the Christ all over again? BUT attempt so by shedding their own blood, as if they could save even themselves? Blasphemy indeed! What He did isn't enough? Oh how I long to hear those trumpets! I see this is from 2017 - how much closer to Home we are now in 2021 with the insanity in this world now? It's kind of bizarre to think of just how quickly everything changed in early 2020, isn't it? Like a new (WORSE!) world we live in. I pray to meet you soon! Your Blog is such excellent work, I praise God that He led me here, though I was actually looking for something else! There are NO mistakes, just His hand, amen? Even so ,come, Lord Jesus! Love you in Christ, Deb & Tom!

If the elders (24 of them) around whom the angels stand, represents the church (Bride of Christ), and indeed they do, then the group of whom it is said they washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb (6:9), must be a completely different group of people and NOT the Bride of Christ (the church), The washing of robes is a metaphor of salvation proper. If it describes the church (Bride of Christ) and not all those (Jews and Gentiles alike) who are going to be saved during the seven-year tribulation, it would mean that the Bride of Christ, the group of people who had already been saved before the seven-year tribulation (24 elders, the church, Bride of Christ), will only wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb (i.e. be saved) during the seven-year tribulation. Are they going to lose their salvation when they enter into the seven-year tribulation and then regain their salvation through suffering at that time? What utter nonsense!

In reply to petro.

Dear Petro

Why can't you understand that these are not Christians who are going through the Tribulation but UNBELIEVERS who BECOME Christians during the Tribulation.

Why are you hell bent on spilling your own blood for Jesus Christ? Is His sacrifice on the cross and the blood He shed for you and me aka, The Bride of Christ now not enough? Now want to prove to Him you are a Christian thereby shedding your own blood for your own salvation?

Your views on the PURIFICATION of the Bride of Christ is actually blasphemy. The Bride of Christ is the BODY of Jesus Christ. By saying that the BODY of Christ has to go through a purification during the Tribulation is saying that Jesus' death on the cross was utterly in vain.

To say that the BODY of Christ has to experience the WRATH of God and an attack from Satan for that matter during the Tribulation is Satanic, as you want to crucify Jesus Christ all over again. (This is a Roman Catholic Eucharistic doctrine). Jesus Christ experienced the wrath of God ONCE when He took on our sin on the cross and God turned away from Him for a time, and Jesus cried out 'why have You forsaken me' (Matthew 27:46). But once the sacrifice was complete, Jesus Christ said 'It's Finished'! (John 19:30)

Tribulation during ones life time is NOT the Final 7 Year Tribulation which is unlike anything the world has ever seen before.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

A 'time' SET APART for Israel that she may come back to God. And innumerable number of unbelieving Jews and Gentiles will be saved during this time as per Revelation 7.

Revelation 7 is so clear on the subject why do you try to prove the opposite?

"a Great multitude which no man could number of all nations, and kindreds, and people and tongues, stood before the Lamb, clothed with white robes.. and one of the elders answered and saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And he said to me. These are they which came out of the great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Rev 7:9-14
