The Antichrist or Man of Lawlessness – Who Is He?
I sometimes sit and wonder who the antichrist is, could it be the Pope Francis, or is Pope Francis the false prophet and Barack Hussein Obama the Antichrist. Then it dawned on me, the best way to know who it will be is to go and search the scriptures to see what the bible has to say on the matter.
The antichrist is an end times (eschatological) person who will appear to the world at the start of the Tribulation and deceive countless numbers of people into believing he is The Christ that all religions have waited so long for to bring peace to the earth. He is directly associated with Satan (Lucifer), possibly possessed by Satan and he directly opposes Jesus Christ and God. He will be assisted by the false prophet and fallen angels (demons) in an unholy crusade to take over the world and establish a New World Order where he will be world ruler before the second coming of Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament the bible uses the word antichrist four times in the book of John (1 John 2:18; 1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:3 and 2 John 1:7). And in the Book of Revelation the antichrist is referred to as ‘the beast’. Paul however does not use the term antichrist, he instead uses the word ‘man of lawlessness’ where he describes an extremely evil man who will stand in direct opposition to God and His Saints. Paul says regarding the Tribulation (Day of the Lord):
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
The Antichrist an Evil Shepherd
In the Old Testament the bible makes reference to the antichrist not as the antichrist or man of lawlessness but instead calls him, ‘the little horn’ and the ‘worthless shepherd’.
Daniel 7:8 “8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things”
Zechariah 11:17 “17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.”
From the above Zechariah verse and the ones found in Revelation 13:2-3, many people believe that the antichrist will be attacked somehow and will incur a head wound that will be ‘deadly’.
Revelation 13:2-3 “2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
Antichrist Rises from the Dead?
Satan of course needs to imitate Jesus Christ in order to deceive the world. The antichrist with the help of Satan will be supposedly ‘raised from the dead’.
The phrase “wounded to death” appears nowhere else in the Bible. As such it tells us that something vastly extraordinary is going to happen during the time these verses describe. It will be a time no one has ever witnessed before in the entire history of humankind. A single man will accomplish what no man has accomplished before. He is going to mesmerize the entire world to wonder (“thaumazoÌ”) after him”.
Dictators like Hitler and Stalin managed to muster millions of people who followed them to the hilt but never before has the entire world population marveled over a person like this. Indeed, Satan is going to empower this man to accomplished this great feat. The question is, how?
Some say the Antichrist is actually going to die due to a fatal head wound and that Satan himself is going to infuse him with new life when he enters his body (total possession).
Revelation 17:8 “8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
The immediate question we need to ask is whether Satan has the power to give a corpse life. Is he capable of resurrecting a cadaver?
According to Revelation 11:11 the Holy Spirit is the “Spirit of life” and only those who have his Holy Spirit (i.e. are saved) shall be raised from the dead in the same way He raised Jesus Christ from amongst the dead (Romans 8:11). Satan, on the other hand, can do nothing else except to kill, murder and lie (John 8:44; John 10:10). There is no life in him, only death, destruction, mayhem and confusion. Had he been able to raise the dead to life he would have been equal to God who is the only Fountain of life (Psalm 36:9). Only God can give, preserve and resurrect to life the dead because He is the essence of life.
It follows that the words “wounded to death” must mean something else than the actual demise of Antichrist. Wounds are usually self-inflicted or they are inflicted by someone else whose intention it is to kill, like an assassin. However, I don’t think the Antichrist will be a masochist whose desire it will be to die and inflict his own head wound. His great ego will prevent him from doing a thing like that. It may well be that the Antichrist’s head wound will seem to be fatal and doctors who examine him are probably going to give him no chance whatsoever to survive. He might be even presumed dead, but is not dead at all. To be certified dead, there needs to be no brain activity what-so-ever. There are many people who have been presumed dead, taken a so called trip to Heaven and then apparently come back to life. The fact is they were not entirely dead to start off with, the soul had not left their body, their ‘trip to heaven’ was an outer body experience after which they came back to life.
Enter Satan, whom we all know is capable of performing miracles. He is going to heal the Antichrist’s fatal wound so that it may appear he raised him from the dead. Satan is a past master at mimicking and imitating God and his miracles. This will probably be his Oscar winning miracle because the entire world is going to marvel and wonder after the Antichrist because of this so called great miracle. My own take on this is that the world will not recognize the miracle as that of Satan and actually believe that Antichrist overcame death by his own miraculous “resurrection” of his own accord.
After this ‘miracle’ has taken place, the marks of his wounds that he sustained from the attack will remain. This is a sign that he is not Jesus Christ and it was not Jesus Christ that healed him. When Satan heals his healing and miracles are incomplete (see article: Can Satan Heal?) and because of this the antichrist will be blind in his right eye and he his left arm will be withered.
What is the Spirit of the Antichirst?
The word antichrist is used to describe the most evil man in history that is to come and will rule the world for a short time, but it also describes a spiritual condition. It describes all those who are against God as having an antichrist spirit.
1 John 2:18-22 “18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist antichrist shall come, even now are there many Antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
The bible says that anyone who does not confess Jesus Christ are of the spirit of the antichrist,
1 John 4:3 “3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

America is not Babylon. Yes, of course America is replete with all kinds of idolatries and sin but so is South Africa, Europe, Africa, Russia and the rest of the world. Babylon will be a world-wide resurgence of the religious system Nimrod and his wife Semiramis instituted in ancient Babylon. It will be world-wide and not restricted to one country or city. It’s headquarters will be in Rome (Vatican).
Semiramis’ religious system included doctrines like purgatorial purification after death, salvation by countless sacraments, such as priestly absolution, sprinkling with holy water; the offering of round cakes (the wafer resembling the son god. Baal was the son god, the life-giving one, identical with Tammuz) to the queen of heaven as mentioned in the book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 44:18); dedication of the virgins to the gods (nunnery and cloisters), which was literally sanctified prostitution*; weeping for Tammuz for a period of 40 days, prior to the great festival of Istar,(Ezekiel 8:14), who was said received her son back from the dead (as you can see a fake resurrection of Antichrist was already in vogue as far back as ancient Babylon); for it was taught that Tammuz (the son of Semiramis) was slain by a wild boar and afterwards brought back to life. To him the egg was sacred (Easter Sunday), as depicting the mystery of his alleged resurrection, even as the evergreen was his chosen symbol, and was set up in honor of his birth at the winter solstice, when a boar’s head was eaten in memory of his conflict and a yule-log burned with many mysterious observances. We should not forget that when the Pope speaks ex-cathedra every loyal Catholic MUST believe he is speaking on behalf of Christ as his Vicar and therefore is the truth. So, when he (the False prophet or Vicar of Anti-Christ) announces that Antichrist was dead and came to life again (during the tribulation) everyone is going to believe him – in the very same way they believed that Semiramis’ son, Tammuz, was raised from the dead when they were told the lie. Semiramis was worshiped as the third person in the false trinity of Babylon, Nimrod being the father and Tammuz the son. So, when Semiramis (the false “holy spirit”) spoke, everyone believed her.
The sign of the cross was sacred to Tammuz, as symbolizing the life-giving principle and as the first letter of his name. It appears upon vast numbers of the most ancient altars and temples, and did not, as many believe, originate with Christianity. It is a pagan sign.
Does it sound familiar? It should because Roman Catholicism is nothing else than the old Canaanitish form of the Babylonian mysteries of Nimrod and the whore, Semiramis (Mother and child worship).

The opening of the Seventh Seal will be the most important and as a token of its great solemnity and importance there will be silence in heaven. Silence is often the sign of reverence and awe – in this case for the One who opens the seals and the authority given to Him by his Father to meet out righteous judgment on the earth.

I have noticed that September 24 has been marked as a significant day for the “world” and for Israel. A number of things seems to point to the same date for this year. Blood moons, CERN, Climate change issues, countries like the states is bankrupt, the pope meeting with Obama, Jade Helm etc…. i have been watching Skywatchtv, and also have been reeding books by Tom Horn, Stephen Quayle, Dr David Jeremiah, and i have just started following your page, etc.
My question is, in Haggai 2 verse 18, 20 God mentioned dates, (24 of the 9th month) will these dates be the same as today’s dates, (24 September)? and is this related to them rebuilding the Temple during the 7 years of tribulation? or is it pure co-incident that this date pops up.

Be very careful of those who preach the blood moon doctrine. There are supposed to be four blood moons appearing over Israel as a sign of the last days. Only one blood moon (28 September 2015 and not 24 Sept) will be visible in the Middle East over Jerusalem. None of the other remaining three will be visible in Jerusalem. What kind of prophetic sign for Jerusalem is that? At any rate, Christians should not be looking for signs. No signs are given for the Rapture to which Christians should be looking out for.
The biggest problem with these so-called signs is that when they do not come to pass the world’s unbelievers mock and deride Jesus Christ and his Gospel.
The prophet Haggai encouraged the Israelite to continue the construction of the second temple after the Babylonian armies destroyed it in 586 B.C. They began to rebuild the temple under the guidance of Zerubbabel accompanied by the high priest Joshua and the prophets Haggai and Zechariah when the Persian King Cyrus granted them permission to rebuild the temple. However Samaritan harassment and Persian pressure discouraged them so that the rebuilding of the temple came to a halt and spiritual apathy set in. It was then that Haggai reminded them of the blessings God promised them since the third message he gave them in the ninth month although they could not yet see his blessings bestowed on them three months earlier (in the sixth month). As you may know the second temple was destroyed by the Roman general Titus in 70 AD in fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy in Luke 21:6. The third temple will be built in the tribulation under the auspices of the Antichrist. However, this temple will not lead to blessing; it is going to lead to the persecution of the Jews which is going to make Hitler’s holocaust look like a picnic. The remnant of the Jews will only experience great blessings when the Lord Jesus returns at his Second Coming (not the Rapture) at the end of the seven years tribulation. No one knows when this is going to take place. Therefore we cannot attach a date to it. We cannot interpret Haggai’s 24th of the ninth month in terms of the temple in the tribulation.
The ninth month on the Jewish calendar is Kislev which lasts 29 to 30 days from November to December. It’s got nothing to do with our September.

also last week we went to woolies, at the teenager section where the boyfriend jeans are for girls, was an illuminati advert. the model had illuminati tattoos on her skin, almost like a pen/stencil drawing. problem with this is, we can’t boycott every store that has these images, it is everywhere, once you know what they are, it becomes difficult not to notice it. for example i cannot watch movies anymore, etc.

Hi Thomas, I’ve forgotten if I’ve mentioned this before but Wendy Alec turned up at a church my wife and I went to where she and her husband were doing their thing. My sister, who was suffering from cancer, bought a book from her and she told my sister that she was going to be alright. If your cancer gets worse and you have to be operated and lose a breast then get worse cancer that kills you and that is “alright” then you could say that my sister was alright!I somehow don’t think that is alright.
The one Debs mentioned where some group claims tht the RC church plays no part in the end times says it all. To my mind, there is only one church that had Crusades–against Christians, Moslems and Jews–and the Inquisition and whose colours are scarlet and purple. NO part in the end times? (Sigh.)

The author of these two articles is obviously totally deceived. He says that the beast of Revelation 13 is all of humanity. If so then all of humanity is going to hell.
You really don’t need to be super intelligent to see that this person is wrong. You only need to know the basics of your Bible. Jesus once said,
The “him” He referred to is the Antichrist (the beast out of the sea) who the Jews are going to receive as their Messiah during the Tribulation. It would be silly to say that the Jews are going to receive the whole of humanity as the Antichrist.
L Ray Smith who died in May 2012 did not believe in the existence of a literal hell. Well, he knows now but unfortunately it is too late for him.

Actually,Tom. L.Ray Smith is dead,he is not alive in “hell.” I see you believe that people are going to be thrown in a literal place called “hell.” Sorry,but there is no such a place. The original word is “Gehenna,”not “hell.”And…and it is not a literal place where people will go,it is symbolic just like the whole book of revelation. I’m suprised you are not aware of this.

“Picture this…” A thousand cameras are all rolling and beaming the following event to every spot on earth via satellites. A man (a physical, mortal man, with possible body odor, thinning hair, and a pimple on his nose) approaches a newly built, incredibly beautiful, temple somewhere in Jerusalem.
He is dressed in an all white, pure silk Hong Kong suit, with his collar on backwards signifying great religious piety, and having a huge gold cross around his neck. With unbelievable pride and pompous vanity, he enters the temple (followed by a couple dozen cameramen). He then sits (well, I don’t know where he sits, seeing that the Temple in Jerusalem did not have a “throne” in it, as even the Jews knew that the Temple was built for God and not for some man to sit in it—maybe he sits on the floor).
He then announces to those present and to the world via the cameramen, that He HIMSELF IS GOD. Yes, GOD—the Creator of billions of galaxies having billions of stars that are billions of times larger than the earth. And, although he speaks with imperfect grammar and has a rather small vocabulary, the ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE EARTH (save the Hagee/Lindsey readers) will actually BELIEVE that this man IS THE VERY GOD OF THE BIBLE AND THE GOD OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.
The presidents and leaders of whole countries, taxi drivers, housewives, scientists, atheists, Moslems, WILL BE TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY CONVINCED (albeit it also totally deceived) that this mortal man in the white silk Hong Kong suit, really IS, THE ETERNAL CREATOR GOD OF THE UNIVERSE!! And all the while, sales of “Official Man of Sin dolls” will sell like hotcakes in all the religious junk stands surrounding the temple.”

It is obvious that you are deceived and love to make a mockery of Jesus Christ’s words in Matthew 24 and in Luke 16. Those who believe there is no literal hell are also making a mockery of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. If the ‘Beast’ is all of humanity, and humanity (people) can ask for forgiveness does that mean that the Beast can ask for forgiveness? No. If you think yes then I would like scripture to back up your argument that Satan can ask for forgiveness.
