Wow that’s amazing. As Tom says you list is almost an exact replica of what witchdoctors advertise here in South Africa on pamphlets. TB Joshua must have taken this idea for a list from witchdoctors or he IS a witchdoctor himself.

1) If you want your ex back.
(2) if you always have bad dreams.
(3) You want to be promoted in your office.
(4) You want women/men to run after you.
(5) If you want a child.
(6) You want to tie your husband/wife to be yours forever.
(7) If you need financial assistance.

Please provide us with scripture for each of these points above where Jesus says He will do this for you?

So what you did is you contacted a witchdoctor who told you to “believe in God” and then you were healed (Even Satan believes in God – James 2:19 “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”)

That’s just fantastic, you were healed by a witchdoctor – amazing. Now what are you going to do about the demons that were put on you? And when are you going to be born again as a child of God?

The list you give right at the end of your comment are the very same questions witch doctors, sangomas, witches, necromancers and the likes ask in their advertisements here in South Africa. Let’s see what the Bible says about these people.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. (Deu 18:10-12)

You may be healed but are you saved? You see, whenever you want, want, want and want even more, then something is very, very wrong.

This is what Paul said:

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? You should learn to quote verses in context. Paul evidently spoke in many different known languages of his time. He was multi-lingual. How do I know? Verse 21 suggests this: “In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips (foreign languages) will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.” The other tongues and lips are other known languages and not other unknown tongues which you hear so often in today’s gibberish spoken in churches.

Zephaniah 3:9 refers to the Millennium when Christ Jesus is going to rule the entire world with a rod of iron from his father David’s throne in Jerusalem. The KJV translation “pure language” is unfortunate. It simply means that God’s people (the Jews) will no longer speak with a defiled tongue but a pure one. Your lips represent what you say and what you say represents the condition of your heart. If your lips are impure, your heart is also impure. So, what God is saying here is that all of his peoples’ hearts shall be pure (undefiled) in the Millennium with the result that they shall all worship Him by their united service to Him with purified lips.

Martin we should not be surprised or amazed as these people are deluded by Satan himself. Recently there has been a lot of internet activity between cessationists and continualists regarding these experiences regarding “speaking in gibberish(tongues”, healings and prophesies”. The blinded are following the blind as the Pentecostal doctrine has perverted a whole generation of deceived. It is a major thrust in NT that this will and is happening.

A W Tozer says about false doctrines: “The truth is that the Bible does not teach that there will be new light and advanced spiritual experiences in the latter days; it teaches the exact opposite. Nothing in Daniel or the New Testament epistles can be tortured into advocating the idea that we of the end of the Christian era shall enjoy light that was not known at its beginning. Beware of any man who claims to be wiser than the apostles or holier than the martyrs of the Early Church. The best way to deal with him is to rise and leave his presence. You cannot help him and he surely cannot help you”

We are also to walk away as soon as we have taken our stance and it is dashed to the ground. I would say that stooping to pick up a devilish argument is giving the followers of Satan too much respect. Harsh? – yes and so should we be against a “brood of vipers”.

Each person should seek the Lord as his or her Teacher – Matthew 23:8-10. If you quote Tozer with approval what do you think of the scripture in 2Timothy 3:5. People like Tozer fit right in. I have been around such people who are deceivers and keep people in bondage using the gifts they have been given of the Lord (without repentance) to deceive many. This is seen in the book of Jude – how false doctrine was introduced to the assemblies of believers.
