Hi Thomas, that article was incredible. I will read it over and over. I answered Eddie's comment first because I have heard claims by pro-Islamists that the true Jews are Khazars. They would have come up with that as few, if indeed any, Khazars are in Israel today. This nonsense is just another sign of the prophesied worldwide anti-Semtitism, of which you mention in your excellent article. It is a further reminder too of Satan's loathing of the Jews.
So thank you for detailed and scriptural piece. It is indeed very timely.

Eddie, nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about Edomite/Khazar Jews. (The Edomites are to be wiped out by Israel. As that has not happened yet, it is still to come. See Obadiah and Ezekiel 25:13-14.)
In the first place, historically, Khazars today who claim to be Jewish are merely descended from converts. Among the Jews they are a very small minority and you will find very few of them, if any, in Israel. The Indian and Japanese Jews living there are are in greater numbera than any Khazar ones. Besides, not all Khazars converted to Judaism! Those who did came to Judaism late in historical terms--at the earliest the 8th century and the latest the 10th.
You surely know what the Bible says of those who wrest the Scriptures[2 Peter 3:16] and what it leads to.
If you don't know, I would encourage you to read it right away. Then after that you ought to try reading Genesis 12:2-3 and 27:39 to then read Romans 11, to see that those Scriptures still stand. And I would seriously heed the warnings.
A cursory look at the Arab world will show that those curses God has placed on the enemies of his physical people are still very much in action. It's also worth looking at what's happened to the black African countries who turned against Israel and my native Britain which had an empire on which the sun never set till she sided with the Arabs, arming them and staffing their armies with British officers to fight unarmed Jews fresh out of the Holocaust. And which the Arabs deny happened!
The prophecy of Ezekiel relating to Israel returning to her land in these Last Days has actually come to pass. Their prophesied army [chapter 37] can be seen by all with eyes to see. It even tells us in verse 11 when they would return (after the Holocaust).
Where does this relate to Khazars of any kind? It doesn't relate to them anywhere. The Jews who originally lived in the area of Israel were, as prophesied, scattered throughout the world--not the area as Khazar, where a group converted to Judaism. It started with their monarchy and nobles.
The Jews, prophesied to return to Israel, were not only scattered throughout the world but were so centuries before a group of Khazars converted.
Paul said that a Jew was a Jew inwardly. That is a real Jew. What does John mean by Jews? So often in John's writings when he is talking of Jews he means Judeans--Pharisees--as is obvious by the context, and not every Jew. Those the Pharisees castigated were all Jews. (That was when Khazars existed in their regions as pagans.)
The first Christians saw themselves as the truest Jews, which you could say they were--bearing Romans 11 in mind. The Romans and others saw Jews and Christians as synonymous (check Suetonius).
Revelation is saying that those who SAY they are Jews but are NOT. It seems plain to me that that they are not. Jews being synonymous with God's people--and it could be a metaphor for Christians who were being infiltrated by false Christians--of which Jesus Himself prophesied.
Remember that at the time Revelation was written "church" (Ekklesia] meant a group of people and never a building. "Synagogue" in the New Testament always refers to a building and never to people. And synagogue is not a Hebrew word but a Greek one--and it was referring to the building where these false Jews or Christians attended. The first Christians always attended synagogues, not churches.
Considering the time when John wrote Revelation, it seems to me that in the context John has is refering to false Christians--who may have been Jews, Gentiles or both. Chapters two and three of Revelation are being addressed to Christians, most of whom were Jews when it was written.
The Bible says nothing about those Khazars who became Jews. They couldn't possibly have been Jews then.
What does God promise them? Kinda plain I'd have thought: Nothing! But he He promises the True Christians that he will bring those liars to bow before them. And that would have to be in their resurrected state, after Armageddon.
