The prevailing gospel preached today is a "what-you-can-get-from-god-through-faith-in-your-faith." I call it the Judas-gospel. Judas believed in Jesus. He spoke with Him, touched Him, ate with Him and even prayed with Him. He was even sent out with the other apostles to heal the sick and cast out demons. However, his kind of gospel was to get from Jesus what every Jew expected from Him BUT without the cross. He wanted a Utopia free from the yoke of Roman oppression; he wanted to have it all without the cross.

Many hear this kind of Gospel in their churches, on the internet and especially on TV channels such as GODTV, TBN and many others. Millions are sucked into this kind of gospel believing that if they could just believe hard and fast enough, then God will do for them whatever they desired. And then, when nothing happens, they become disillusioned, despondent and bitter with God and promptly turn their backs on Him. They were never saved.

Jesus did not come to the earth to improve your circumstances. Those who tell you so are liars. Jesus came to seek and to save sinners. Period. And when you are saved your circumstances may even become worse. Your husband or wife may leave you; you may lose our job and even your life. Rest assured, if you are one of these, you will never lose your salvation because you will never regret your salvation and turn your back on Jesus. Why? Because you regard it a great privilege to suffer for Jesus Christ. You won't sit down on a dump and whine over your circumstances. You will rejoice because He has wrought such a great salvation for you.

Those who profess that Jesus is their Lord because He has increased their income a hundred fold and more, who boast that they are doing so many great signs and miracle in his Name, have never been saved. They hold to a Judas gospel that cannot save. They cannot lose their salvation because they've never been saved.

Gordy Cotter

Just a small question, are your Pro Eternal Security because those verses you quote actually back up that we are eternally secure :) Just asking because some people quote scripture to try tell us it's not so by mis-quoting scripture, not understanding what they are saying.

Jesus says: 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: Rom 6:8;

When we die with Jesus, we die once with Him (Jesus only died once at Calvary), and we are made alive once and we shall live with Him eternally as He promised - He is faithful and it is a faithful saying! We have the right to say as the apostle Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Gal. 2:20).

12 "If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:" Matt 10:33; Mark 8:38; Luke 9:26; Luke 12:9; Rom 8:17; 2Cor 4:10; Phil 3:10; 1Pet 4:13;

If we suffer with Him, we will share His glory. We will reign with Him when Jesus when He comes again. ALL believers suffer with Him, but not all suffer for Him to the same extent, some suffer less than others and so on and so forth.
Now this verse is surely speaking about the person who hears the gospel and rejects Jesus, or the millions of professing Christian out there. There are millions of people who hear the truth and reject and deny Jesus Christ. This is not speaking about a person who is saved and then supposedly rejects Jesus. See list of verses mentioned.

13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Num 23:19; Rom 3:3; Rom 9:6;

Just because people reject Him does it in no way nullify the gospel of Jesus. Jesus however remains true, even if we don't. Professing does not save you. We need to receive Jesus Christ and trust Him with ALL OUR HEART and then BOLDLY CONFESS HIS NAME. Our unbelief cannot change His plan or purpose.

2Timothy2:11-The saying is sure and worthy of confidence: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him. 12If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

What part of "sealed unto the day of redemption" do people not get? When we received Jesus Christ as Savior the we are in the tight grasp of God the Father who said that no one, not even ourselves, can pry open his fingers and then remove us. God saves and He keeps us saved. People that believe you can lose your salvation can never give a Biblical example of just one truly Born Again Christian that lost their Salvation. Peter denied Jesus 3 times and he didn't lose his salvation. I have a nephew that was saved and believed God was calling him to be a Preacher. He went to a Christian College for 2 years and then all of a sudden he turned his back on God. I believe he is saved but very carnal right now. 2Timothy2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Some where deep inside my nephew the much grieved Holy Spirit dwells. Jesus will not deny himself. Mankind's wicked pride wants to change what God has plainly proclaimed...we are sealed!

I suppose there will be some that will disagree with me and that's just fine. So I will ask, give me that one biblical answer of who lost their Salvation? I won't hold my breath waiting.
