Sowing seeds of division in the body of Christ is serious business, and there are going to be a lot of ministry leaders who when they give an account before Christ, will rue the day they discovered social media, which gave them their unearned platforms from which to amplify and spread this division. Heresy hunters have brought more shame and dishonor on the body of Christ than many of the “heresies” they claim to have unearthed and addressed. Best you stick to the simple and pure Gospel of Christ that even His babes can agree on, and let Christ deal with the rest. Remember, it’s His church and His right.

16 “Jesus[a] answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him”.

Where do you find God’s will and His message to a lost world. The desire to know God as He truly is can only come from the Holy Spirit and it can only come on His terms. His terms is documented in the completed scriptures…no other means. Experiences,happenings,flashes of lightening, clouds ,signs and sensational things are not how to get saved.
Paul’s Damascus road experience, along with many biblical recorded one’s were done in the process of recording and the making of the completed word of God (the bible). Once the completed Word was given any diversions, additions and substractions are the works of the devil and his demons.

Why are there are some many doctrines and disagreements?

I believe it’s because man’s heart is devious,vain and self-seeking. The Holy Spirit convicts man of sin…the answer to this condition is found and explained in the scriptures…the solution of the gospels is clearly given.

There is only one way to salvation, Christ… there is only one truth, Christ …there is only one life in opposed to death and it is Christ…in essence there is only one doctrine (a book and directive given by God to tell us why He sent His Son) the bible.

Different versions but the same way and the same meaning.

All false religions generate when we are not honoring the scriptures as the only Holy word given by God

Man’s vainity, sensual and self-seeking sinful nature leads to deviation and false doctrines…Mormons, RC’s, 7th Day eventists, Word of Faith, Prosperity teaches and preachers, JW’s and many others…and false religions such as Islam, Hindus and Budists and a many others.

It is relevant that all falseness in teaching came from experiences, dreams and visions…Mormons, JW…I’m not sure but Mohammed as well.

There is only one fundemental doctrine of SALVATION and it WRITTEN IN THE GOSPELS…

Interestingly the event is advertised with a poster of Nelson Mandela and these words: “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats it’s children. Nelson Mandela. Mens 2012 Conference. What will you be remembered for?” end quote

South Africa does not treat it’s children too well – particularly since 1994. I will remember Nelson Mandela for the Church Street bombing (yes – many other people who were adults then will remember too). Furthermore – I will sadly remember that Hillsong is now amongst the ranks of “Promise Keepers” and “Mighty Men”. Perhaps they always were 🙁

First of all I will prove that Angus is not a man of integrity…basic truths that can be proved…first of all in “Faith like Potatoes” he states that Andrew and Lindi were born in Zambia. Andrew and Lindi were definitely not born there and that Jill had a husband before she met Angus. What else Angus says therefore has no CREDIBILITY and how can you preach to others when you live a lie. We all make mistakes in life and none are perfect but to live a lie in the representation of God’s word is damage… to ones trust and faith. That’s why I discount these preachers…Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer…there is proven lies in their testimony and a whole host of others…Jesus said He is the WAY and the TRUTH…the TRUTH will set you free.
Bulldust does relate to the integrity of SALVATION. Lies and misrepresentation in a message completely takes the Holy Spirit’s conviction out of the equation. God is holy, pure and righteous and does not work with deception and untruths.

Why do churches split? – it is because of error in interpretation and not because of truth – Somebody is wrong!

1500 varieties of Christians just in USA alone. 1499 is wrong and 1499 wrongs does not make a right.

Very interesting. But I’d rather believe what Jesus says. And He says that MANY will come in HIS Name–not in the name of Buddha, Mohammad or Krishna or anyone else–and Jesus warns us that they will deceive MANY [Matt 24:5].
It’s often thought that Scripture says these people themselves are claiming to be Christ. It doesn’t. The original Greek says, “saying I am anointed”. Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Rick Joyner and a whole host of other “Christian” charlatans claim this for themselves.
To Angus Buchan, and any other ecumenist, I would say that I’d prefer to be divided by truth than united in error. That’s because, as Jesus Himself tells us, when the blind follow the blind they both fall into the ditch [Matt 15:14].
Most of these ecumenists hold to Replacement “Theology” (heresy) and point blank refuse to condemn psychopathic Arab terror against Israel and condemn Israel for trying to defend herself it. They also accept the unbiblical term “Palestine” though only Jews ever called themselves “Palestinians”. No Arab did till 1968 as the Arabs sent a delegation to the UN in the 1950s claiming the term Palestine was a Zionist myth.
What does Angus Buchan say to the ecumenical clique about that? Will he quote to them that ALL liars are going into the lake of fire [Rev 21:8]. Judging by his own statements above, he is never going to do that. He is quite happy to be united with ecumenists in error. That’s hardly surprising considering he preaches so much of it himself.
