Prophet Kobus van Rensburg’s own son, Kobus van Rensburg jnr. had the audacity to arrive at church one day; drunk.

The kid definitely has problems being drunk, knowing that he he had to preach that day. Here’s some advice, why don’t you ask your father to “heal” you from your alcoholism?

In the video, Kobus van Rensburg jnr. admits to being drunk, speaks about the benefits of being drunk and mentions a drinking bar located in the church.

You can hear the church people laughing at him (or with him) because he is drunk.

Here is what the Bible has to say about Kobus jnr.

1 Corinthians 6 9-10 KJV:  “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

And here’s a verse that proves that “Prophet” Kobus van Rensburg is just another false prophet.

1 Timothy 3 4-5 KJV: “One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?

Get real guys. I was in church when Kobus Jnr were “Drunk” Funny how after your 10 minite clip he preached for more than an hour and was sober three mins after your ten minite clip. Start studying the bible and stop clinging to your own believes. There is 53 more scriptures that prooves drunk in the spirrit… geus its time to dust of your bibles and use them.(Dont tell me there is noScripture) Learn Greek and Hebrew first. Todays bibles are so twisted… If you have a KING JAMES you have the closest to the real thing you’ll get. Be Blessed guys

The Word of God say’s that we must TEST the Spirits. (1 Joh4:1)
James, Let us then test the “spirit” in that which you wrote and see if it matches up to the Word of God.

You say that you are “proud” about Kobus and Analise… 2 Problems in that sentence nl. 1. God resists the proud and 2. You are Proud of a Mans achievement.

You do not give any Glory to God.

You then continue to declare:

“Kobus i honor you…”

Problem: You are honoring a man and not God.

You then end the sentence in a very “prideful spirit” :

“not to take notice of the religious cows…WOW !!”

With this statement, you are elevating yourself above other people.
The Bible says’ that we must be humble servants not boastful and arrogant…

Jas 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Jesus also said that “By their fruit you will know them” right ? (Mat 7:16)

James, if you are then a follower of the Ministry of Kobus and PRIDE, as displayed by your statement above, is then the FRUIT of Kobus and Annalise’s ministry then they are not ministers in God’s service under the guidance of His Spirit.

Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

I study Hebrew and Greek.
I also have a friend in Israel who’s home languages are Hebrew and Greek. He has a Greek Father and a Jewish Mother.. He is born again, Spirit filled and do understand scripture in it’s rightful context. He reads the Bible in Aramaic/Hebrew and Greek.
We would be very interested to see the “scriptures” that you will produce to “validate” your statements.
PLEASE provide us with the scriptures. By not proving your point you would be found an unreliable witness.

I don’t know why you are referring to Eph 5:18 to back-up your folly, it has nothing to do with the lie you believe.

Even if you read a corrupt version like The Message, one cannot deduct from Scriptures what you apparently have. As a bonus, stating that the KJV is the closest to the truth is debatable, and if it was, then surely you have failed to understand its contents, as your views are far from the truth, God’s truth.

The above mentioned passage urges us to be continually filled with the Spirit – that is, controlled by the Spirit. The better way is to allow the Holy Spirit to have control, similar to the way that alcohol may control a person’s thoughts and actions. This does not mean charasmania witchcraft.

Paul warns against intoxicants that give momentary natural exhilaration and often lead to excess, 18a, which he contrasts with the true stimulant of God, the Holy Spirit. The injunction is to be continually filled with Him (completely submitted to His presence and control), instead of wine.

Whatever bible version you use, you still cannot conclude the heresies you did! Please explain?

Hallo Debs, I am also waiting.
Earlier I had a visit from one of Kobus v Rensburg’s followers and when I asked the same question I got no reply.
I was invited to a gathering that was addressed by Kobus many years ago by this person. While waiting for proceedings to start I became aware of evil spirits around the hall and remarked on it.
The first thing that Kobus did when he appeared was to ask the evil spirits to depart. If that was’nt enough, I was targetted And even had a tape recording of a “sermon” thrown at me. Did try to listen but could’nt. Many, many words with the odd sentence that was understanable.

The one thing that I remember was the loud repetitive trancelike music.
Ofcourse I was condemned this morning as I was then.

This shows the seriousness of the issue of false teachers and those who would corrupt the truth of God and delude the people of God.

and Matthew 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Paul writes to Titus to tell him he has to deal with the false teachers present in the church at Crete.
Look at verse Titus1:10, “For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision…”
In New Testament time the particular problem that the apostles faced was those who came out of the Jewish background, who professed to believe in Jesus Christ, but created an unbiblical mix of the Mosaic Law and the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. It corrupted the gospel and confused people. Paul then tells Titus in verse 11 Titus:10:11, “..who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families”.
Verse 16 says Titus 10:16 “They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.”

Thanks for responding to my email to come and reply. We were waiting patiently for your to answer us with scripture. But it would appear instead of showing us that you were in deed telling the truth, that there are indeed 53 scriptures on being drunk in the spirit in the Bible, you have shown yourself to be a liar, just like your Prohet Kobus van Rensburg.

There is no such thing as being drunk in the spirit, and there is NO account of this ever happening in the bible. So what happened to Kobus Jr is one of 2 things 1) He was taken over by a demonic spirit 2) He was in fact really drunk on alcohol.

You need to wake up Anibrand. Calling us names (because you could not answer our questions, after you stated some so called biblical facts first (which was not true)) is not going to solve your problem that you are being lied to by the van Rensburgs.

I pray your eyes are opened the truth before it’s too late.

PS and I don’t know if you have noticed but you are blaspheming Jesus name when you write comments, by saying ‘geus’. It’s a shortened slang version of Jesus. Has the Holy Spirit ever convicted you of this?

You know you would think that all Kobus’ congregants would know their bible so well, but they don’t, they know nothing, because Kobus spoon feeds then his own brand of gospel that is false – So when his followers are asked simple biblical truths they can’t answer, what they are good at is name calling, threatening and Zigheiling their prophet.

Your so called anointed are touched in more ways than one. You do not know the gospel truth so you can’t tell the difference between a genuine man of God vs a false man (Kobus van Rensburg).

And don’t come and twist scripture with regards to casting the first stone – that was for a completely different situation than this. And what’s this about ‘not rebuking the elderly?’ um… at what age does that apply? 40? 35? Cos I think I am old. So maybe you should stop rebuking me!!! I am an an elderly… what a joke. You know the scariest thing is this, UNBELIEVERS can tell from a mile away that he is a CROOK. No where in the bible does it tell you that when you become a Christian you are to become stupid and follow after any person that comes to you proclaiming the name of the Lord. You are to TEST THEM, and continually TEST THEM ALWAYS, forever and ever.

I formed an opinion on that based on my own experience when I “dared”to disagree.

Previously I told you about a meeting that I attended. At that meeting the “flock ” were told by Kobus that he had been fasting for 40 days and was continuing his fast.
As opposed to the 3 fasts in the Bible he was lively and did not even appear pale. I walked out when he said that all present were “condemned to victory” in reference to Luke 10:20 LOL.
