Kim Clement Admits he is a False Prophet

Kim Clement admits to false prophecyRecently a ‘prophet’ was exposed by DTW as being false – Ivin from 220Generation prophecied on the 20th Jan 2009 saying that God spoke to him through a thunderstorm.  God told Ivin that 5 atrocities have occurred or will occur within the next couple of months and be shown on the news, and will shock South Africa half to death and bring the fear of the Lord back to the people of this country.  These things have not come to pass by a long shot.  http://www.discerningtheworld.com/2010/07/23/the-fires-of-hell-burn-bright-for-220genergation.

Kim Clement is sitting in the same situation…

Kim Clement

It’s the same old song and tap-dance

Scenario: A man claims to be a prophet of God. After being caught in multiple false prophecies, he becomes offended, defensive, and all teary-eye when he receives “negative” feedback from Christians who apply the Biblical tests and expose him as a false prophet.

With a wink and a nod, the false prophet makes excuses, seeks sympathy from his followers, and goes to great lengths to twist Scripture to maintain his self-appointed position and following. He feeds his deep-seated pride and arrogance by rewriting and reinterpreting God’s written word. He leads his followers to a false god. His desire is to be the final authority-without question-despite what God’s word says.

It needs to be restated over and over again: Throughout the Bible, God has ZERO TOLERANCE for false prophets. There is no fellowship between God and false prophets (Deuteronomy chapter 13; Deuteronomy 18:20-22; Jeremiah 14:14; Jeremiah 23:31-32; Ezekiel 13:9; Matthew 7:21-23; 2 Peter 2:1).

False prophets are NOT members of the body of Christ, nor are they brothers and sisters in Christ. Every false prophet will have his or her day of reckoning with God at God’s appointed time (Matthew 7:21-23; Revelation 20:11-15).

Just as one cannot be a thief and a law abiding citizen at the same time, one cannot be a false and true prophet at the same time.

Singing and dancing

Known as the “singing prophet,” Kim Clement is a self-proclaimed prophet of God who sings “new revelations” from God and tap-dances his way around false prophecies at the drop of a hat.

In the following paragraphs from an article titled, “Special Message,” note that Kim Clement’s admission to being a false prophet carries with it a subtle warning to his followers, as well as those who would dare speak a word against him:

I want you to have a good time and I want you to know something, that I am genuinely in love with God. I don’t have to tell you that, but I want you to know that I do. And there will also be critics that will be watching now because you don’t understand prophecy, and I understand that. Half the time I don’t even understand myself.

The Bible says we prophesy in part and when I prophesy, I prophesy what I hear. “Kim, are you ever wrong?” Yes I am.  So, if you’re out there to trick me or trip me up, you are wasting your time because I go to God three times a day and I pray. And if I’ve done something that may have misrepresented him I ask him to forgive me. If you don’t fully understand the prophecies it’s best that you don’t get up and try to pull me to pieces making out that I’m a false prophet. There’s a big difference between a false prophet and a true prophet. Now some of you and a lot of you wrote to me and you blessed me, and I thank you for that, but some of your wrote in with concerns that I said some things on this last broadcast where I prophesied from God which I will not apologize about, but I used some language. [June 24, 2010, http://kimclementvault.com/prophecyread.asp?num=410 , emp. added]

Amazing. Simply amazing. When a false prophet looks his audience in the eye and admits he is a false prophet, the long and winding deceptive train has arrived, belching its poisonous steam down the throats of the innocent.

Decision time

Kim Clement is a prophet of God only because he says he is. He sings an incredibly deceptive siren’s song which, like the Sirens in Greek mythology, he woos and sings to his followers, and becons them to crash their spiritual boats onto the rocky shore of destruction and death.

Kim Clement avoids the Biblical warnings on false prophets in favor of “new revelations from God” and what he claims to hear. But God’s written word judged Clement a false prophet the moment he uttered his first false prophecy. He downplays the very God he claims to worship, and tap-dances around God’s holy and inspired word to his own destruction.

Kim Clement is a false prophet. He is to be avoided at all costs.

And how can Christians recognise a false prophet?

Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). The best way to guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers is to know the truth. To spot a counterfeit, study the real thing. Any believer who “correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) and who makes a careful study of the Bible can identify false doctrine. For example, a believer who has read the activities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 3:16-17 will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity. Therefore, step one is to study the Bible and judge all teaching by what the Scripture says. [ http://www.gotquestions.org/false-teachers.html ]

    Ezekiel 13:9
9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

If Kim Clement is a False Prophet. He wouldnt be stepping foot in Israel. But somehow got to Tour there? hmmm
    http://www.kimclement.com/watch.php?id=KimSeaofGalileeMoment

I don’t need a reply…. I only wanted to point out that sometimes it’s best to not attack someone for what they believe in. The man was praising everything you are suppose to as believer in Jesus. It may not be in scripture but everything so far that he has got from God has been pretty spot on. especially about Our President. And no one said we wouldn’t get a message from God through a Prophet.I far as I can tell from what hes telling me and everyone else is….We get to be the nation that defends Israel When all hell breaks loose. I don’t know about you. But that’s sounds like an honor to me. God Bless You.

  2. Brian Smith

Since when does a good relationship with the nation of Israel make you a true prophet? Antichrist is going to bring peace in the Middle East by signing a covenant with the nation of Israel. Does that make him a true prophet of God? You must be kidding! Kim Clement was a false prophet and predicted many things that never happened the way he allegedly prophesied them. If you feel the need to follow a false prophet, do so by all means but don’t say we never warned you. We never attacked Kim Clement but his prophecies. There’s a difference you know or don’t you? Let me remind you how Paul of Tarsus attacked false prophets and their prophecies.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (Gal 1:8-9)

  4. Jamen says:

Deb, you have a religious spirit and absolutely no relationship with Yeshuah worth speaking of. One day you will be delivered of it, whether in this world or the next, most likely after He says “Depart from me, I never knew you.”

  5. Jamen

Thankfully, I don’t have to listen to you, and your little (dead) prophet Kim Clement. I listen to Jesus Christ the Son of God only and what He says in His Word.

You said “One day you will be delivered of it, whether in this world or the next,”

What next world are you speaking about? You comment sounds like that of Reincarnation. You are either born again and go to Heaven, or you are unsaved and go to hell…no where are you ‘delivered’ in the next world…

  6. Ruel says:

Now hang on. God has spoke to me. I asked a question and he relieved the answer. I was troubled about my defending the Republicans over Democrats. The back and forth over talking points. Gay marriage and abortion stuff like that. I believe a conservation Biblical voice in office is better then a liberal do what you want voice. Anyway, so I asked for clarification. In the same voice I hear me reading these words in my mind I heard, “Governments divide and spread fear so you lean on them for comfort and security.”

Wow, I took from that I was okay to continue because my concern is not personal. My concern it that more people witness the word of God.

Anyways, that is a long way to say I have had God talk to me BUT I’m not a prophet. I just ran across this guy tonight. My first question is it verified he recorded these messages before Trump became president? It seems clear he hasn’t been right every time so he isn’t a prophet but, what he is saying about Trump is coming true.

I have to study out Satans possible part in this. I don’t believe in these current days anyone has gone to Heaven and come back. But several claim to have been and report knowing stuff they would seemingly not have know before. So can Satan make you believe something is from God, but really from him?

  7. Dear Ruel :hi:

The Holy Spirit speaks to all born again believers regarding the choices they should make if they ask God. He also convicts you of your sin by letting you know you are doing wrong and must repent to Jesus Christ. But the way God supposedly speaks to these self proclaimed prophets to FORETELL the future is another story all together. 2 types of prophecy in the bible: Are Prophets for Today or has Prophecy Ceased? and Gift of Speaking in Tongues, Prophecy and Healing

You said “My first question is it verified he recorded these messages before Trump became president?”

Trump becoming president was planned by the powers who run the world who are taking orders from Satan who speaks to them. Trump was elected president on the Simpsons cartoon years before anyone in public even believed such a thing could happen. Are the Simpsons and it’s writers prophets from God? Not a chance. Is the Simpsons cartoon a government state approved message broadcaster to freemason’s and others who are part and parcel of the plan that is moving the world into a New World Order? For sure. Google Simsons Cartoon ‘foretelling’ the future.

You said “But several claim to have been and report knowing stuff they would seemingly not have know before.”

The Apostle Paul was raptured ‘caught up’ into heaven. When the Apostle Paul went to heaven he was told not to speak a single word of what he saw.

      2Cor 12:3-4
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;)
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

    1) Now why can these people tell us what they saw in heaven but Paul was forbidden?
    2) If you study what these people saw in heaven it’s all different. It’s amazing how in 90% of the stories, each Jesus has a different hair colour. Scratch/
    4) Most of the people who had these visions are Catholic, the rest follow other strange doctrines.
    5) I can make up stuff about heaven if I wanted too and then go off to tell others. Many people’s visions of hell are people being tormented by demons, which is impossible because hell was made by God for Satan and his demons to burn in, along with humans.
    6) Satan loves to use children to have these trips to heaven and hell, I mean after all, who would believe that Satan would use a supposedly innocent child to come up with such a story as visiting Jesus in Heaven? https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2012/01/24/heaven-is-for-real-this-story-is-not/

Bible is clear, once you are dead you can’t come back and you can’t cross over to heaven or hell:

Luke 16:26 “And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.“

When people fall into trances they have visions, they feel like they are sometimes leaving their body or have left their body, but they are very much alive and not in heaven or hell, that is guaranteed because the Word of God says so.

You said “So can Satan make you believe something is from God, but really from him?”

Absolutely, Satan comes to you as an angel of light and he even has messengers of ‘righteousness’. In other words he uses his own disciples (pastors) IN THE CHURCH to spread his false teachings. And for sure he can speak to you, especially when it comes to following false doctrine.

      2Cor 11:13-15
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

  9. Paulette says:

Let me clear this up. Kim Clement was NOT a false prophet. I’m not going to say this is blasphemous, a prophet is not God. But you make this claim at your own peril. His prophetic uttering s came to pass. I know this, because I was a skeptic and would watch for results. I watched for many years. God has His own timing, at the same time, we are told to watch and to see if a person claiming to be a prophet should be proven. He was proven. Even his most outlandish mutterings have come to pass. 2004, he declared Trump would be a trumpet. He would be the President. Please. Who in the world thought that would happen. He also said he would clean house. We can see that already. There is more, but I thought that would be the one you would never believe. You don’t have to believe until your are positive, but you better have your facts straight before you attack God’s elect. The consequences could be devastating. It could have been a coincidence, but, someone else stood up publicly to announce him a fraud. That man dropped dead. Again, it could have been his time, but who really knows.

  10. Dear Paulette

You didn’t read a single comment did you? We have spoken about Trump extensively in the comments section. Also Kim Clement has a habit of claiming presidents to be ‘men of God’, he even claimed Obama was ‘God’s man’. https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2009/11/10/kim-clement-obama-is-gods-man/

You said “you better have your facts straight before you attack God’s elect.”

And how do you know WE are not God’s elect? But you attack us, and you have not a single fact straight. Thankfully Jesus Christ did not come to condemn but to save, instead of speaking a curse over you like you did to us, we pray you come to salvation through Jesus Christ…and not the Roman Catholic Christ and it’s Harlot Mary

John 3:17 “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

John 12:47 “And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.”

By the way, your curse is null and void my dear, Jesus Christ who is IN ME has the victory over your demonic mutterings.

1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You said “It could have been a coincidence, but, someone else stood up publicly to announce him a fraud. That man dropped dead.”

Not that I care that I am going to drop dead because I NOT for Kim Clement WAS a FALSE PROPHET who ‘prophesied’ from the mouth of Satan! I however would love to know where you got this info from? Did you make it up?

  12. Wow, Robbie! You’re a star. I never knew the Simpsons were prophets. The Illuminati controlled cartoon industry and movies are the ideal platforms to predict future events and then, through sheer political power and monetary resources, make them come true. Thanks for the valuable info.

  13. Robbie says:

Tom they are the best… I get so much more from there “sermons” than from Kim’s.

  14. Yep, so true. Mammon is there god. I remember how many years ago, while I was still working at the SABC, a colleague of mine said that rich people reach a stage where they are no longer satisfied with their wealth and begin to crave power.

  15. Samuel Hay says:

I certainly dont know what to say or what to tell you. My wife was in a congregation while Kim was doing his prophesy. I had suffered from a serious liver condition, although I was never a drinker. He picked her out of the crowd of maybe 1000 people. He told her the pain and suffering of someone she was close to was over. I was at home standing at the sink washing dishes at that moment. The 20 year pain VANISHED! I dont know what it was all about but I can believe that mortals can get it wrong. Well, this is evidence that Kim got it right in this instance.

  16. Hi Samuel

When someone miraculously gets healed from a disease it does not necessarily mean God healed that person. The devil is quite capable of healing illnesses. I watched a TV series on DSTV yesterday, “The Story of God with Morgan Freeman. In it, there was a scene where a Koi-San witch doctor danced in a circle, went into a trance and healed a woman who suffered from back pains and had a severe wound, caused by an infectious disease. Kim may have gotten is right, according to you, but there are a limitless amount of examples where Satan got it right. For instance:

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. (Acts 16:16-18)

What the girl said was true. Yet Paul immediately realized that it was not God who inspired her to speak the truth. It was a spirit of divination.

May I ask you. Are you saved, Samuel, and if you are would you mind telling us how you got saved?

  17. Fresher says:

The Title of this article is not accurate. Kim Clement NEVER said he was a false prophet. Indeed, time has shown Kim to be a TRUE prophet of God. Only discerning minds or true Christians would appreciate that Prophecies and visions may at time take time to materialise.

  18. Fresher

Clearly you didn’t read the article or any comments.

  19. Tessa says:

Clearly this didn’t age well. His prophecy was correct and in so many ways. Things he couldn’t possibly know have happened. Not a good idea to put people down.

  20. Tessa

Did all the events he predicted come true? Now, now, be careful how you answer, because you may be putting your prophet down.

  21. Mary Miller says:

this deeply saddens and irritates me that such words are being said ok heres the thing jesus himself was persecuted over his beliefs and just because not all words of prophesy have come to pass yet doesn’t give anyone the right to judge a fellow believer if you truly believe this nonsense you yourselves are corrupt and deceiving those that believe in his ministry we all called heretics freaks insane crazy false worshippers and I beg to differ do not embarrass yourselves with such disdain over a man who obviously rock the boat for many years and spoke of truth in ways that brought about such heresay

  22. Mary Miller

Had your prophets whose words of prophecy never came to pass lived in the Old Testament, they would have been stoned to death on the command of God, Jesus Christ.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (Deu 18:20-22).

Tell me, do you make a habit of comparing Jesus Christ with false prophets? False prophecies have nothing to do with belief or faith or persecution. Being persecuted for doing the wrong things (like lying and telling false prophecies) is an abomination to God.

For this finds favor, if a person endures the sorrow of suffering unjustly because of an awareness of [the will of] God. After all, what kind of credit is there if, when you do wrong and are punished for it, you endure it patiently? But if when you do what is right and patiently bear [undeserved] suffering, this finds favor with God.

Are false prophecies (lying) the will of God? Jesus said that all lies come from the father of lies, Satan himself (John 8:44). Are you prepared to listen to and heed false prophecies (lies)?

  23. Dear Mary

As much as this upsets you so much, I am going to say it again, Kim Clement WAS a spiritualist, his mother was one, he was one too. He was a Freemason as well. He sang his false prophecies like a Pied Piper and all his little followers followed him over the cliff, and now that he is gone his digital legacy of false teaching remains. He is idolized by you and many others; even after his death you speak about him as if he was still alive. Idolatry is a sin. And you commit spiritual adultery with another god for you follow and believe in the same God that Kim Clement did – the god of Freemasonry, Lucifer.

IDOLATRY: When Anything or Anybody Gets What God Alone Deserves

Exodus 20:3-4 “3Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”

God destroys idols! You have turned Kim Clement into an icon – it is a grave disservice to idolize anything or anybody. The result is God’s wrath, on you and the idol/icon. God will not be overshadowed by Satan who wants to be the like most High (Isaiah 14:14)

  24. mary says:

    Deborah and Tom:

Your anger comes through loud and clear and I find that very sad. “And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful” 2 Tim 2:24

Also, your comment above about Donald Trump and new world order is completely false.

  25. Mary

You said: “Your anger comes through loud and clear and I find that very sad.”

Just to let you know what the bible says regarding the type of anger we express: It’s called Righteous anger! Never heard of it? Let me explain to you:

    Eph 4:26-27 (KJV)
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.

    – Righteous anger is a reaction against actual SIN. It arises from an accurate discernment of what is actually evil.

    – Righteous anger is motivated by Christ-like biblical concerns because we see how someone (Kim Clement in this case) has offended Jesus Christ and the Body of Christ as a whole with doctrine of demons.

    – Righteous anger is expressed when you as a Christian are more concerned with the sin against Jesus Christ than the offense against yourself.

    – Righteous anger is accompanied by other Godly qualities and expresses itself in Christ-like ways. The greatest love of all is preaching the gospel truth that people may be snatched out of the fire because of the false doctrines they are following.

Does God allow people to express anger? Absolutely. Man (male) is made in the image of God. Woman was created from Adam. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:4-25) Anger is an emotion that comes with the package of emotions God has given us.

    Ps 7:10-11 (KJV)
10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Please read here to see what more I have to say regarding Righteous Anger: https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2018/09/15/christian-allowed-show-anger/

You said: “Also, your comment above about Donald Trump and new world order is completely false”
    Proof please?

Why do you say so? Because in your mind you think he is aiding Israel and therefore he must be godly? No God is using Trump as His instrument to bring about His end time plan. God has used many evil people throughout history to do His will without them even knowing it. Trump surrounds himself with false apostles and prophets to make everyone think he is a Christian. Is Trump a Christian? Nope, see proof in video below.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yySSkt_IdOI

Is Trump a master manipulating, egotistical megalomaniac of the highest degree? Yes.

Do we pray for Trump to be genuinely born again? Absolutely.

  26. Doreen says:

I have seen many false prophets and I have seen many real prophets…. and Kim clement has a ton of words come to pass and many words that hasn’t came to pass YET !! Kim clement is one of the most anointed prophets I’ve ever seen. he has good fruit like someone earlier said, and he has a deep close relationship with Jesus….. I really feel like this I feel like everyone calls every prophet of this day a false prophet…… the prophetic is for today people !! many have the gifting others walk in the office of the prophet and its real

  27. Dear Doreen

Do you believe you need to be born again?

Kim Clement didn’t, in fact he went out of his way to state that one does not need to be born again. Is that the hall mark of a true Christian?

    Sin-grace-salvation
In an Interview with Matt Crouch on TBN Clement had these gems to say–let me say something to you. Most of you know that when you were sinners, you didn’t have to be told of your sin. You were aware of your sin all the time. You didn’t have to be told“… Clement goes on to say, “He investigates himself and for the first time in his life, finds that there’s something good inside of him, because the church and the gathering should be a place where you discover the greatness and the treasure of God that’s inside of you, not the bad thing… So, in other words, when they come into our presence, for the first time in their life they hear, they’re saying ‘there’s something beautiful inside of me. There’s something beautiful, there’s something, I know there’s something. I’m investigating, and for the first time in my life I’m finding that yes, there’s a chance for me, there’s a hope for me.’.. for the first time in their lives they’re finding ‘There’s something inside of me that I never knew existed,’ and they fall on their knees and worship God.“

Under the heading of Doctrinal belief on Kim Clements website he explains at length exactly what he believes concerning many of the essential teachings in Christianity because some have had questions. He states in the beginning that, “As you read on you will find out that my beliefs are totally scriptural. My interpretation may differ from some of the traditional “Hocus Pocus” but it is still within the confines of our fundamental beliefs.“

Are they Scriptural? This quite a different view than anyone taught over the centuries. The simple reason is that it is not the Bibles definition of what is in man. Despite calling some of the traditional views as hocus pocus, it really is the reverse. Clement believes this treasure is not something that is put inside you when you are born again by the Holy Spirit but it is already contained inside and we discover it, we release it.

Kim Clement - You don't have to be born again
Kim Clement-Don’t have To Be Born Again

Kim Clement explains in his own words concerning the teachings of sin, grace and salvation. “I thought that Christianity was based on a relationship resulting from grace. My idea that each person is born with a treasure in their spirit is mocked, and I am accused of being a new age prophet because I will NOT focus on their sin but rather on their treasure”[emphasis his] …. “I know how a sinner feels because I have been one”……..I do not believe that you must be born again to obtain salvation…….you cannot and will not make a disciple out of a sinner who has been introduced to Jesus Christ on the basis of their sinful inheritance only.“

We need to look at his statements carefully to see if he is speaking correctly. Many other quotations could be cited from Clement but these should suffice. Without a doubt, Clement in just a couple of paragraphs has distorted some of the most fundamental and essential teachings within Christianity. Jesus said you must be born again so Clement is against the words of Jesus (Jn.3). Its not a choice but a necessity, and the Greek language is clear it means from above; in other words it deals with God’s Spirit regenerating man’s fallen sinful spirit to be alive and in relationship with Him. There is no other way.

We are not dealing with semantics but core doctrinal issues. If you are wrong on one of the key doctrines, it will affect the others.

Kim Clement: “I am accused of being a new age prophet because I will NOT focus on their sin but rather on their treasure.”

The Bible: Clement claims that a person’s treasure that we all apparently possess within us is more important to realize than a person’s sinful nature. However, the Bible contradicts Clements teachings. There is only one thing that separates mankind from God; our sin. Jesus said I have come to save sinners. He also said only those who know they are sick need a physician, not those who are well. In fact the very reason Jesus Christ died for humanity is to present us before God without sin and blameless in his sight. It’s because of what Christ has done that justifies us before God, not discovering some dormant “treasure” within us waiting to be activated through belief in Him.
