What Rick means is this; if a genuine Christian stands up for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and tries to correct error with the Truth, so that people are not led astray, they portray themselves as insecure in their beliefs, are unloving and sarcastic.
However he also says that loving someone entails telling them the truth and correcting the errors so that they are not led astray. If you don’t tell the truth you portray yourself as a coward and are apathetic to those around you.
Um… comments anyone? I’m not sure what to do. If I say something to correct this contradiction I am insecure in my beliefs, weak and have no idea what I am taking about. If I don’t try help Rick see that this is a blatant contradiction then I am a coward and unloving.
Gosh. What a dilemma this is. I am so confused lol.
No wonder the world is in the state it’s in.
Recipe for Disaster:
Take a very large pot – throw in mankind, throw in unscrupulous amounts of money, slowly remove the Word of God, add heaps of addiction, add a lot of debt, turn up the heat, then sow tremendous amounts of confusion, let it simmer, then reap the world. God help us all when this ‘church’ and counterparts are moving in their mobilized unity, spear-headed by their world-leader Rick Warren. HOW ON EARTH can so many people be SO blind?!
Oh wait, I know the answer already: Mass hypnotism / mass mind-control. No wonder he commends Hitler! And he is using the same tactics as Hitler, ‘mobilizing’ the youth. Those who are subject to their hormonal changes… those who are still learning to come to terms with their humanism, their teens, their adulthood.
I thank the LORD God that HE is in control and knows the exact time when things should happen. I put a finger in front of my mouth and a guard to my heart NOT to cry out “come Lord Jesus”, because there are SO MANY youth to be plucked from the hands of these wolves and from the gates of hell!!

When he spoke about Hilter he gave the impression that how Hilter mobalised people into action was a good plan, and that he is using the same plan of action. Because of the way Hitler did it, it was extreemly effective and Rick Warren tells about how Hitler mobalised his Youth League in such a way that they almost took over the world.
Of course we know that the Hitlers youth-league were the ones who went on murdering sprees that were orders directly from Hitler.

There is demon who’s name is Oriah, he is usually not alone but comes with Leviathan, and Jezebel. Oriah’s purpose is to present someone in a different form and specifically to present you to appear to be spiritualually acceptable. Leviathan’s prime purpose if to stop deliverance and salvation. Jezebel has as her prime purpose manipulation. These three are ever present within the church. You can see how working together they can deceive the church. There are many men who in their own zeal and drive to achieve status even in the Christian context do things in their own strength. But God isn’t impressed by them. Guarding against being influenced by demonic forces should be our consistent goal. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom.

It’s bothering that you know these demons names. Could it just be another occult lie? Not saying you are lying, I am just saying that Satan is the FATHER of all lies and will give false information. Jesus Christ never went around and asked for the demons name before He commanded them to get lost. Neither should you be worried about this type of stuff.

That is a problematic statement, because when a person is truly born again, the battle has been won because Jesus Christ defeated Satan. Your consistent goal should be keeping to the gospel truth and NOT worrying about fending off demons and wasting time on rubbish. If this is the main focus then there is something desperately wrong. When you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you, you have the truth, knowledge and wisdom because the Holy Spirit is all those things.

A common position held that where the Holy spirit is no demons can be. Christ is the lover of our soul and not our body. In fact the body must die in order to leave all sin behind and only those who are raptured alive are miraculously transformed into a glorified body. The grace of God is freely available constantly, however we need to appropriate it through consistent repentance and sanctification. If not it would mean we are able to sin freely after salvation and not suffer consequence.( ecl 12:13-14). It is our responsibility to resist the devil, How do we resist if we do not know what he does and how he does it. The word says for example we fight not against flesh and blood. Yet Christians still fight each other and get divorced. If we were obedient to the word we would resist Him and then he would flee from us. If these men resisted pride for example another demonic influence and humbled themselves and had a reverential fear of God they probably would not get drawn into error.
If we cannot be influenced by demons then who is influencing all these false prophets. Surely if the Holy Spirit has driven out all forces of evil they cannot be false? Surely we cannot believe these men are all so wise themselves as to plan all they do? No you are right we have the holy spirit and truth, but we do not all listen to his voice and act obediently on it. Hence we are told test the spirits. He is the lover of our soul, but we must guard the soul by the abundance within our heart. Present yourself a living sacrifice. IE its a consistent effort, although made possible by grace in Christ Jesus.
Amen to your scripture 1John4:4 and the Just shall live by faith. It is simply because you do have the Holy Spirit abiding in you that you become spiritually aware, and if you ask then also wise. A warrior does not close his eyes, rather he gathers all intelligence and goes in with eyes open, Praise God knowing God has already declared the Victory. The kingdom of God suffers violence but the violent take it by force.

No, the church is full of demonic activity – hence the state of the church. But knowing the names of the demons is a waste of time. Preaching the correct Gospel of Jesus Christ is what is needed. The Holy Spirit does not hang around in buildings in air, like principalities of evil. The Holy Spirit abides IN a born again believer.

We resist the devil because when you are a born again Christian you are convicted of sin and one repent. That is how you resist the devil. The more we obey God the more we resist the Devil. And yes you can still sin when you are born again, but you will suffer the consequences of those actions – but you come before Jesus Christ and repent and the devil flees.

Twenty five years of study have brought me to my position. Many many commentaries by the great men who have studied before me have come to the same conclusions as me. Simply because you lack the knowledge in this particular field does not qualify you to take the high handed position you have. Since repentance is your easy way of escape then I suggest you begin by working on your pride.
One of the most important attributes of ones character that would show the love of Christ and the evidence of the Holy Spirit would be humility and the ability to treat all Gods people greater than yourself, in respect to the Holy Spirit within them. Correct people in love. If indeed you do have superior spiritual knowledge to me and truly did have intentions to teach me something you certainly don’t go about it the right way. At this point if I thought you had any intentions of truly wanting me to answer your questions, with a purpose of truly finding out what I believe and either learning by it, or assisting me in my own growth, due to a heartfelt concern for Christs people, then I would justify my position.
