The Manhattan Declaration speaks for itself that we are in the End Times. This is Bible prophecy clearly falling into place.
All of the Reformers came out of the Roman Church. So did many, if not most, of the others who became Bible believing Christians prior to the Reformation. And since them we have had countless witnesses who left Romanism for true Christianity. (I too was educated as a Catholic.) It is quite obvious that their witnesses are being ignored.
That wilful ignorance was apparent when the present pope stated–not too long ago–that Unam Sanctum still stands. The Anglicans and other ecumenists were outraged. One wonders why as Unam Sanctum had never been repealed in the first place. It was only the ecumenists who claimed it had been.
It’s strange how these people want to believe things that aren’t true about Islam, Roman Catholicism, paganism, cults, &c., and yet they are hostile towards Biblical Christianity.
It astonishes me how people who believe they are Christians can want to be wishful thinkers. Don’t they know that the devil himself is a wishful thinker? After all, he knows that his time is short but he must believe he’s still got a chance of winning against God. He quoted the Scriptures to Jesus Christ so he knows what they say.
Ecumenists know what they say too and yet they believe delusional theology–as in the Manhattan Declaration!

Checked the MD site – this isn’t going away any time soon. Over 440k signers. It is amazing to see the list of religious leaders signing this – even Irwin Lutzer – D.L. Moody would be appalled!!

Interesting to note certain ommissions – Robertson and Crouch as they surely are fully supportive.

Anyone who signed this travesty to truth are traitors and wolves posing as sheep. Kay Arthur, Ravi Zaharias and Michael Youseff,Chuck Swindoll,Jack Graham, etc. mixers of truth and error have shown their true colors. But most will not see it. The American Family Association, a fav with conservatives is solidly behind it as it Focus on the Family, locking arms with Chuck Colson. Sound doctrine has been trumped by moral values.

Well I can tell you after the last few days I have come to the conclusion that this is very true. The lies and cover-ups and those who like their flock to ‘make believe’ they are ok, when they aren’t is unbelievable.

You have one guy sending out a letter stating that he and 3 friends disagree but that night have a BBQ with the other 20 friends who did sign. And because their congregation was not there they could not see them all hugging and patting each other on the back in brotherly love. Wonder if they got secret handshakes too.

I’d like to warn you that perhaps as many as 99% of those who publicly expose church growth/PDC are secretly in favor of it. Their opposition is merely controlled. Christians must understand that the conspirators always create their own opposition.

Hello, I notice with your link to Pastor Ovadal’s sermon “A Rebuke of the Manhattan Declaration Signers” that you name him as Pastor Roger Ovadal. His name is actually Ralph Ovadal. I think the mistake originated somewhere other than this site, but we thought we would let you know so that it can be fixed. Thank you!

mmmmm, yeah I know. took some time to again sloooooowwwwly read the WHOLE document and all references. Much to digest.

One can “subtly” be misled because of the “christian-like talk” and quoting of specific scriptures etc. it “seems” so right … but in the end … that path leads to death (says the Bible).

is’nt that the main ingredient of what the Bible said of the last days? deception …. subtle … so as to even … the elect …? I mean, especially in the beginning of the main document it “sounds” christian-like, but read all and especially take note of who wrote it, and you could literally (with like-documents) sign your own death-warrant. like signing your soul over to satan… which is not so far fetch, seen that most of these people strife to build an earthly kingdom with peace and tranquility to all men (&women..)

yes, principalities … an angel of the light … it looks good, it sounds good, it feels good, but does that mean that it IS good?
therefore brethern, keep standing!
