I wrote about this prophecy 2 years ago and received a lot of slack. I seem to be a sucker for punishment cos I am putting it back online again. The only difference between this article and my last one is I found another prophecy by Cindy Jacobs for Zimbabwe and Africa which is very very interesting.
Cindy Jacobs is part of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) Apostle / Latter Rain Movement (Joel’s Army) run by C. Peter Wagner and Chuck Pierce, etc. These new modern day prophets insist that the church is to be governed by them based on the structure of the Ephesians 4:11 Fivefold ministry – with absolute authority. Such leaders include Earl Paulk, John Gimenez, David Cannistraci, Ken Sumrall, Gary Greenwald, Norvel Hayes, Bill Hamon, Terry Virgo, Lou Engle, Rick Joyner, George Otis Jr, (Bennie Mostert, Angus Buchan, Dirkie van der Spuy (Moreletapark GemeenteNG Kerk), Wendy and Rory Alex (God TV), Charisma Magazine, Joy Magazine (South, Africa) etc, etc, etc,.

A Prophecy Given by Cindy Jacobs (President of Generals of Intercession)
30/10/1998 – Guatemala City, Guatemala.
The river is going to flow through Zimbabwe and I see a powerful torrent or water, a mighty rushing torrent, many fish. I see that there are strongholds in the church of division and the accuser of the brethren is active to discourage souls. An army of women with the Deborah anointing will march across the land. They will be like a net all over Zimbabwe with prayer. With a powerful anointing, the women first and the men following. I see ancient thrones coming down, reconciliation between black and white, the spirit of racism which goes back further down the tribes. I will use Zimbabwe like a jewel; she will help feed the world with beautiful produce. God will break the curse that came through civil war- the curse will be broken. I know nothing of Zimbabwe. The land will produce beautiful beef. New factories will be built. Zimbabwe has the ministry of reconciliation that will reunite the African people. The anointing of reconciliation will be all over Zimbabwe.
Do not be afraid of the change,although it looks like you are going back wards.I have a plan for you. Satan thinks he is advancing but I will expose wickedness at high levels. Do not be afraid. Satan will try to bring war, but the people will be used to stop war and bloodshed. A treaty will be written with other nations. Zimbabwe will be like Switzerland to bring the healing of nations- to break ancient things. Your nation came through trickery but God will restore it.
You will be given a piece of land- a beautiful place to pray. You will build a place to watch and pray. It will be like a village with a place to sleep. Senior citizens will have places to stay and give their time to pray day and night….

The Lord has a word for Zimbabwe. This is the word for the nation: Weeping only endures for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Satan is very afraid of Zimbabwe, very afraid, so he has sent his troops, but the Lord says, I myself have sent my angels and I am going to reveal myself to a people that has not recognized me. And the Lord says, I am going to raise up an army of Intercessors that have had to go deep, deep, deep like the palm tree in times of drought. And this army of Intercessors have clung and stood to the word of the Lord, so therefore I will use them to heal Africa says God.
And I am going to release a mighty prayer army that will go forth from this land. And the Lord says I am going to stay this spirit of violence and I am going to begin to reverse things in this land. The Lord says, don’t look at what you see now, but understand that I am going to make this a peace-making nation. And the Lord says, I the Prince of Peace am going to enthrone myself in miraculous ways there, says God. And this will be known as a country that is a peaceful country and restored.
The Lord gives me Joel. That God is going to restore the years that the cankerworm and the locust have eaten up. This will be a Joel nation and a Malachi nation and I am going to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers.
There is a linking between Zimbabwe and South Africa, that will be miraculous for I am going to bring great healing between these nations says the Lord.
There are treasures of darkness that have waited till this hour in Africa to be released for the greatest harvest that continent has ever seen, and that the Africans will help protect and heal America, the Lord showed me that. And that which was despised, God is going to bring a humility into the heart of those in America to humble themselves to receive this word because it is in the healing of the nation that is going to come the receiving of the Africans.
The Lord is showing me that He is getting ready to build an east to the west road across Africa that will physically open up the heart of Africa. The Lord shows me that He is getting ready to reach the unreached and He is going to break open North Africa, break it open. I’m telling you God is going to break it open.

[Oh please, If Zimbabwe is a Joel nation then they are in serious trouble. In Joel 2:20 it refers to the defeat of the Northern Army, God himself removes it. “His stench will come up and his foul odour will rise because he has done monstrous things.” They will be judged and destroyed in the tribulation (Many refer this passage to Joel’s Army as an army doing God’s will through signs and wonders from the Latter Rain being poured out on them). However, the context in which we read about Joel’s Army clearly shows that this army is destructive to Israel (Joel: 3, 5, 6), and God will destroy it. hey…i’m from the Philippines, and currently she is speaking at our city at this very hour that i’am writing to you. anyways…you got some points there…and somehow i’am afraid of what the outcome will be…she prophesied that a christian leader will become the president but failed two times already. it’s enough for me to be convinced that she is a false one. “and they are bringing this “fire” anointing” here in the conference. what struck me most is when i read Isaiah 27:11 “When its twigs are dry, they are broken off and women come and make fires with them.

When I said changes all over I did not mean for the better, I am talking in relation to this prophecy. Check today’s news headlines in Zimbabwe, one preacher made mention of the same points raised by Cindy. His name is Makandiwa. Though it tarries, I am continuing to follow the events and will always come back to give an update, what Keith said its true, when he mentioned Deborah anointing I think you miscontrued or did not understand it at all, God is working in Zimbabweans’ heart and the leading worshippers are women as it is. Cindy Jacobs was a mentor to Zacharias Tanee Fomum, founder and leader of Christian Missionary Fellowship International. Jacobs prophesied at least 2 times on Fomum and laid hands on him, and her prophecies on him are considered to be the greatest “testimony” of God’s calling on his life by an “established” (Jacobs) servant of God.
Now, read the following article and compare Fomum’s prophecy on Cameroon with Jacobs prophecy on Zimbabwe. Both operate exactly under the same false spirit.

Cindy Jacobs on Zimbabwe is very true 70% of what she said has come to pass and some is for the future. GOD is preparing HIS OWN future leaders or apostolic kings who would not need to be summoned to church to pray. It is during their time of great leadership with some as presidents of the nation, cabinet ministers, business leaders, organisational leaders, etc that Zimbabwe will be restored to a Joel. Remember, for instance, we have Zimbabwe being one of the to producers of diamonds, platinum etc. More of this was prophesied and is very true. Let me give simple statistics on electricity production in Africa. Half of the whole continent’s electricity is accounted to be produced in South Africa. South Africa produces almost 85% of its electricity from the natural coal thermal process. Not only that almost half of South Africa’s fuel is from coal to crude oil conversion by Sasol(commissioned sometime in the 1940s and 1950s. Zimbabwe has many abundant and untappe coal reserves–(though technically Zimbabwe is 5-7 times smaller than South Africa.
Zimbabwe through its God driven diaspora shall enjoy the best world of scientific discovery, architecture, etc—WHY —look at how Japan, China etc got industrialised. Zimbabwe, together with South Africa shall spearhead the last great industrilisation movement, that will start with Africa.

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, I left in 1980 just as Robert Mugabe came in to power. I moved to South Africa knowing that eventually, the same thing would happen there. Ten years ago I moved to the UK, but I have kept my eyes on Zimbabwe, and I still know people that live there. I often talk to them about what is going on. There are some Christians living there that are all caught up in these different prophesies, and when I try telling them that it is all one big lie, they get upset. It just makes me angry with these so called prophets, women included. But then all over the world satan is distracting people with his lies, to hide his real agenda. Nothing will get better now.
I am opposed to the NAR… I think it is a false movement. (Doesn’t mean everyone in it is a false Christian… though I think a lot are. The movement itself is false.)

Deborah was anointed of God. When someone says “Deborah anointing”… it means “like Deborah”. Obviously, it is the anointing of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.
“Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
This scripture tells us that John the Baptist ministered in the spirit and power of Elijah.
Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee:
God says He will be with Joshua as He was with Moses. That’s a “Moses anointing”.
Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
That was a “Paul anointing”.
These are all anointings of the Holy Spirit that can be paraphrased.
To accuse someone of saying that they put Deborah in the place of Jesus when one is using an allegory to say “Deborah anointing”… is sophomoric.

You are using an eisegesis (reading things into Scripture which are not there) rather than an exegesis method to interpret Scripture. The Bible never once speaks of a Deborah, a Moses, an Elijah or a Paul anointing. To use those terms to describe an anointing is to suggest that the person who receives a Deborah, Moses, Elijah or Paul anointing, is permeated by the spirit of those persons. That’s what it means when you say someone is filled (anointed) with the Holy Spirit. In fact, to say that someone receives the anointing of any other person other than that of the Holy Spirit is blasphemy. It implies that the spirits of Deborah, Moses, Elijah and Paul which are all now in heaven are omnipresent and therefore can simultaneously permeate several people in different parts of the world.
The expression “in the spirit and power of Elias” simply means that John the Baptist continued the work Elijah was called to do and that was “to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” To use terminology like a Deborah, Moses, Elijah or Paul anointing is to turn the eyes away from Jesus ands focus them on those persons.
I suggest that you stick to the Bible and to refrain from using terminology that is not found in the Bible. It leads to error. In that case, you are not functioning as a minister of Jesus Christ but as a minister of people like Deborah, Moses, Elijah and Paul.

The problem with man is that they want prophecies fulfilled during their lifetime. Nazareth was the least expected to bring anything good out of her. God promised Abraham many physical nations which he never saw in his lifetime. Joseph’s sons resulted in the strongest nation on earth (USA) and the largest confederate of nations (the British Commonwealth).These, Joseph is not seeing them now but we do. Sceptics and people devoid of any Holy Spirit dismiss everything and anything the Lord Almighty says.They take a pen to correct the Word of God as given to Cindy Jacobs because they are jealousy as if the world is all theirs. They become a Lecturer, a pastor, a preacher, an Analyst etc to the Holy Spirit all in the guise of enlightening the world.
Zimbabwe has got the potential to be everything-the bad and the good. Only God can change nations. Look at Zimbabweans how they rejected homosexuality -an abomination. Zimbabweans go to church and the worshipping timetables start as early as Thursday -Sunday. You see worshippers in valleys, near dams, on mountains etc.
If I had time I was going to explain the similarities between Zimbabwe and ancient Israel in terms of worshipping God. Of course it’s unbelievable but that’s a reality.
The Cindy Jacobs prophecy shall be fulfilled and we knew it long ago before God showed it to her for we have our own trustworthy and true prophets like Johane Masowe (LATE), Ernst Paul Mwazha, Johane Maranke(late),etc who saw all these things in a vision. So to Zimbabweans no-one will take that away from them. Unfortunately, you may not experience the revival for jealousy pangs would have killed you.
Zimbabwe has the potential to be a peacemaker. Peace was established and we are enjoying it even now when ZANU and ZAPU negotiated on their own and they have a UNITY DAY 22 DECEMBER. Zimbabwe proclaimed through a decree that all liberation war belligerents cease to be enemies. Three warring armies were integrated-ZANLA, ZIPRA and Rhodesian Army. Despite all the atrocities committed by Rhodesians Zimbabwe forgave and forgot. Zimbabwe became the first nation in SADC if not Africa to guarantee peace by having two vice presidents in 1987-this was followed by South Africa in 1994 (that is being a peacemaker).As I write Zimbabwe soldiers are the envy of many a nation-they are safekeeping in Equatorial Guinea African Nations Cup. In 1993 they managed to guarantee and maintain peace in Somalia where the USA had failed. During the war of liberation Zimbabwe fought against South Africa, Rhodesia, MNR and against a whole hog sophisticated military machinery but still managed to win the war against highly trained Australian, Israeli, American, British and South African white mercenaries.South Sudan wants Zimbabweans to protect them. Already they are in the DRC. A job well done in Mozambique. n God’s eye Zimbabwe has never been the offender but the offended and at the same time know how to worship and fight in order to guarantee peace. However, the problem of Zimbabwe, politics aside, is they need a great revival especially when it comes to worshipping and interacting with the dead. Most people believe in avenging spirits (ngozi) and midzimu (spiri of a departed relative);mashavi(fallen angels and demons such as mermaids, war spirits )and rain spirits. This is Zimbabwe’s greatest sin which I believe if they do not repent, God will let this generation pass away and deal good with future generations.
Everything is possible with God. Don’t be rude to Cindy because there’s no fulfilment yet and we don’t know when that will be. So how come you just rush to criticize and denounce her just like that.

What the anointing means is just like how Deborah was used by God to save Israel. That same method God used, that same means God put in Deborah. Anyone that believes God would have someone spit out utter garbage which goes against his word better learn about being born again. Thats like calling God a liar. His word is true because it has been true is true and will always be true.
