o He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
o He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
o He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
o He always was, He always is, and He always will be…
o Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
o He was bruised and brought healing!
o He was pierced and eased pain!
o He was persecuted and brought freedom!
o He was dead and brought life!
o He is risen and brings power!
o He reigns and brings Peace!
o The world can’t understand him,
o The armies can’t defeat Him,
o The schools can’t explain Him, and
o The leaders can’t ignore Him.
o Herod couldn’t kill Him,
o The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him, and
o The people couldn’t hold Him!
o Nero couldn’t crush Him,
o Hitler couldn’t silence Him,
o The New Age can’t replace Him,
o He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
o He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
o He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
o His ways are right, His word is eternal,
o His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
o He is my Redeemer, He is my Savior,
o He is my guide, and He is my peace!
o He is my Joy, He is my comfort,
o He is my Lord, and He rules my life!

– I serve Him because His bond is love,
– His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
– I follow Him because He is:
o the wisdom of the wise,
o the Power of the powerful,
o the Ancient of days,
o the Ruler of rulers,
o the Leader of leaders,
o the Overseer of the overcomers, and
o the Sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.

And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size:
o His goal is a relationship with ME!
o He will never leave me,
o never forsake me,
o never mislead me,
o never forget me,
o never overlook me,
o and never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

– When I fall, He lifts me up!
– When I fail, He forgives!
– When I am weak, He is strong!
– When I am lost, He is the way!
– When I am afraid, He is my courage!
– When I stumble, He steadies me!
– When I am hurt, He heals me!
– When I am broken, He mends me!
– When I am blind, He leads me!
– When I am hungry, He feeds me!
– When I face trials, He is with me!
– When I face persecution, He shields me!
– When I face problems, He comforts me!
– When I face loss, He provides for me!
– When I face Death, He carries me Home!
– He is everything for everybody, everywhere, every time, and every way.
– He is God, He is faithful.
– I am His, and He is mine!
– My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world!

So, if you’re wondering why I feel so secure, understand this . . .
GOD said it and that settles it.
– God is in control, I am on His side, and that means all is well with my soul.
– Everyday is a blessing because GOD IS!

I was offended by what “True Jew” wrote about the Lord Jesus Christ as not being the Messiah. He disputed the fact and records of the scripture. What he in essence was saying is that Jesus was a con man, a despicable insane liar and also discredited the writings of reliable witnesses such as Simon Peter (Cephas), Matthew, John , Luke (who incidentallly was a doctor) and Paul (Saul) who was a pharisee but his whole life did an about turn when confronted by the Lord on the road to Damascus.

When Pilate asked Jesus what is truth…Jesus had stated that He is the truth…indeed the truth, the way and the life. Everything that’s good, real and true is embodied in Christ. Indeed He is the only one who was perfect in every respect…He died for all the sins and iniquities of mankind and rose again conquering the sting of sin and death…a feat too big to imagine and the only passport to eternal life….no sinful man could have done this.
The world has always hated truth, indeed truth opposes sin and deception.
In a secular way this is continually found in life…the world is led by lies…lies in politics, symbols of status, Hollywood, power and riches, sports idols, philosophers and twisted philantrophy apart from many other things that look good but contain the ways of deception and are indeed the ways of death.
I remember reading an article many years ago about 2 politicians who opposed each other…Harold Wilson and the late Prime Minister of the then Rhodesia. Harold Wilson many years later when asked about Ian Smith, remarked that he was a man of integrity and one of the most honest and truthful politicians he had ever met and yet he was opposed and maligned by him and the world at the time of UDI.
You see the world hates truth…we do not want it…it hurts…we prefer to avoid it.
Jesus is the truth, indeed the scriptures are the truth and the Word was made Flesh.
Take an example of the definition of love found in 1 Cor 13…there’s no better description of love…so exact and accurate and yes myriads of other examples in the scriptures that pertain to God’s goodness and righteousness.

Yes I too was highly offended. But he is so deceived and it’s a terrible shame. What we must do is pray that he sees the truth, because soon he is going to have to make a choice between the antiChrist and Jesus Christ and I really do hope that he remembers what was said to him on this blog and the Holy Spirit tugs at his heartstings.

  4. Michael says:

Yes indeed we are to pray for him.

I have always had a great love for the Jewish people…my and my family’s life was intertwined with them. I started school in Newlands Cape where the vast majority of pupils were Jewish (SACS)and made many good friends. My late mother worked for a Jewish firm and became a very close friend with the directors wife…they were exceptional people and very kind to us. I also became friends with an Israeli guy later on in my life who was a great character.
However the sad thing is that no matter how good you are we all are lost without Christ…

  5. Sharon says:

My dad and momma taught us, from the Word to love the Jewish people. The Zionists are the atheists in Israel. They hate Christians and even the words Christian, Messiah, Jesus, Rapture. The Lord said they would react this way during the Time of the Gentiles which will soon end. When he said what he said about my Jesus it made my heart skip a beat and the Holy Spirit in me was also offended. The man needs Jesus. The he would see that true Christians are not the ones from Hitler’s death camps.

  6. Martin Horan says:

You use the word “Zionists” very loosely, Sharon. Many Zionists do not hate Christians because many Christians call themselves Zionists. I count myself a Zionist for the very reason that the land of Israel is the land God promised to the Jews and to no-one else. Zionist, like may nouns, mean very different things to different people. I realize that. I use it to make clear to others that I do not accept and kind of so-called Christianity which denies that because to do so is unbiblical.
Benjamin Netanyahu would refer to himself as a Zionist. He does not hate Christians and tries to encourage many to visit Israel. In fact, Israel respects Christian sites. And many other Zionists are happy to have Christians among them.
Let’s remember that Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Christians can freely practice their faith. Even pseudo-Christians like Alexandrian Orthodox and Catholics can build their churches there although both of these “churches” have terrible histories of anti-Semitism. Both also encourage Replacement “Theology” (heresy) and “Christian” “Palestinianism”! In spite of that, though these same so-called churches are friendly towards Islam, they still could not build churches in most Moslem countries. Hypocrisy or what?
As a child and youth I was “educated” in Roman Catholicism and my parents were nomimally Catholic (my mother converting to it on marrying my father). The anti-Semitism of that church made me quite anti-Christian as a youth and into mid twenties. That’s because I was not taught the Bible in Catholic schools and knew very litte of real Christianity, having been taught that the Catholic church was the only real Christianity. From what I knew of the Orthodox Church and Scottish Presbyterianism, I didn’t find much to endear me to them either. So I assumed they were all anti-Semitic. And of course, Calvin and Luther were open anti-Semites.
So I can see where True Jew is coming from. I once would have agreed with him. So much so that I steeped myself in Judaism and fancied converting to it. I had what my experiences were of Christianity to thank for that. It is for that reason I still call myself a Christian Zionist though, on that sole point, I have disagreed with Debs.
What True Jew doesn’t realize is that he isn’t actually a True Jew! Now all of Jesus’ disciples were as was Jesus Himself. He still is [Rev 5:5]!
A truest Jews–as “Messianic” Jews are now realizing–are those who know that Jesus was the Messiah of Israel and Saviour of the world. How do we get other Jews to see it? The Bible says we do so by making them Jealous. We show them how their God has saved us. We show them from the Tanakh–the Old Testament–How Jesus was the Messiah and not only the Messiah but the Saviour of the World.
Debs has included a lot of such verses above.
In fact, I have an Amazon e-book on line, showing how Jesus fulfilled many Old Testament prophecies, listing many of these prophecies that showing Him to be God and man. The book’s purpose is basically to witness to Jews and other unsaved people. It is also intended to strengthen the faith of those in Christ. It is called Jesus is Different and it shows how utterly different He was, and is, from any other human who has ever lived or ever will live. It proves without a shadow of doubt Who He was because it is all taken from the Bible.
It is my hope, and prayer, that it will help Jew and Gentile alike to see that and also strengthen our faith.

Today at Bible Study I mentioned the Red Thread which I learned about in the 80’s, I wanted to find a copy you goyt it. Thank you

  9. Hi Judy. Stay away from the red thread philosophy. Yes! you heard me correctly. What does the Bible say about philosophy?

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:8)

The red thread or red string is tantamount to Eastern philosophy and the Kabbalah. Dabbling in the red thread occult will soon lead you away from Jesus Christ. By the way, do you have the assurance of your salvation? If so, tell us how you were saved, please.
