How to Prepare for a Visitation of Jesus

A visitation that transformed a former springbok rugby player to a spiritually pregnant man.

Introduction

800px-Rugby_World_Cup_Trophy

Our triumphant boys, the Boks, are back home from their magnificent campaign in Japan, sporting the beautiful silver-gilt Web Ellis cup with a 32-12 win over Brexit-England in the final.

Congratulations you guys, you have done everyone extremely proud and we wish you the best of luck in your future efforts, and we know you can go from strength to strength.

However, and I need to warn South Africa very urgently. Something very sinister is creeping into our rugby culture. Rassie Erasmus already mentioned it in the interview he, Siya Kolisi and some other rugby personnel had with several journalists at their arrival at Oliver Tambo on Wednesday, 10th November.

What he said boils down to an admission that the excitement of the world cup is merely a short spell of euphoria. What we need is a lasting unification of our colorful array of peoples in our beloved country by means of coming and working together from within all the various religious persuasions. It sounds a lot like the “Purpose Driven” guru, Rick Warren, doesn’t it

So please beware of, and please stay away from ex-Bok rugby players who are spiritually pregnant and spreading false doctrines in the name of unity. Whoever listens to them will likewise be impregnated with the same lies the devil uses to deceive them (2 Timothy 3:13).

Base-Church-Pregnancy

The picture above may upset and even infuriate some people, especially Jannes Labuschagne, the Pastor of The Base Church in Muldersdrift, South Africa, his wife and the members of his church. Nonetheless, the irony is that he said exactly, in so many words, what this picture depicts.

Should it anger them, then something very strange is happening in their church. Labuschagne’s sermon on spiritual pregnancy was greeted with awe, cheers, appreciative amens, and awe inspired oohs and aahs among both the pregnant and unpregnant.

If, therefore, they should accuse me of misrepresenting him and his sermon, and denounce my picture, they are in effect denouncing Jannes Labuschagne’s sermon on spiritual pregnancy, which he likened to physical pregnancy.

The picture shows just how bizarre Jannes Labuschagne’s sermon on spiritual pregnancy really was. However, there is one thing they manage to get right and that is to play out to the letter what Paul prophesied more than two thousand years ago.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto FABLES (FICTION). (Emphasis added).

2 Timothy 4:3-4

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:22

Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. (AMP)

Deborah posted an excellent article on TB Joshua and his claim that Jesus visits him once a year. Here in my hometown, Krugersdorp, we have a pastor who takes visitations of Jesus a step further with his teaching on how the congregants of his parish, The Base Church, need to prepare themselves for an alleged visitation of Jesus in November when their church celebrates its 10th birthday.

The Expert Maieutic

Do you know that the different phases of a woman during her pregnancy and a South African ten-cent coin can prepare your church members for a crazy, weird, strange, uncomfortable, and otherworldly visitation of Jesus? You don’t?

Well, bite the proverbial bullet while you relax in your favorite lay-Z-boy and pay careful attention. First, you need to find an expert maieutic (Socratic midwife[i]) who is spiritually pregnant at the same time.

Does that sound like the babbling of an intern in a looney-bin? Don’t be too hasty to judge such a notion negatively because this is precisely what the spiritually pregnant ex-Springbok player, Jannes Labuschagne, taught his church members in a sermon he preached on 6th October 2019.

Genuinely, I’m not joking. The cheering, enthusiastic applause, the whoops, aaah’s and ooohs of his audience bore witness to the fact that they were dead serious; I mean like in, DEAD-serious.

Jannes Labuschagne kicked off his weird and crazy sermon with a boastful, broad-breasted turkey exclamation of his expert knowledge on pregnancy, so much so that he granted the ladies in his church permission to quote him. Wow! What a guy.

Yep. Ladies, you can quote Jannes word for word because he is an expert maieutic (Socratic midwife) cum spiritually pregnant ex-Bok rugby player.  Moreover, he and the male members of his church know exactly how to frivolously and laughingly portray the man’s role in the preparation for a baby as a mere brief ecstatic surge of pleasure.

They not only disparage the dignity of their wives who must bear the brunt of a nine month ordeal of pain, nausea, and sometimes sleeplessness, not to speak of the psychological phases she has to go through, but also exposes their husbands’ sneered disrespect for the real meaning of love in marriage.

Then he analyzes some of the phases a woman experiences during her pregnancy. Please pay special attention to the buzzwords he uses. Later in his sermon he uses some of the same words as an auto suggestive mechanism to lead his audience into a euphoria of acceptance and approval of his crazy and weird ideas.

His success rate in getting the audience on his side was phenomenal. There was only one person who thought he’s a fruitcake when he asked those who thought he was one to put up their hands. He prioritized the phases as follows.

The realization of pregnancy. He expands his boasting when he tells the ladies that the process of realizing she’s pregnant can take weeks and even months.

The shock of realizing you are pregnant. Some women do not realize they are pregnant and only find out when they undergo a pregnancy test at their local pharmacy. Spells of nausea set and start to miss their monthly menstrual cycle. Then suddenly, according to Jannes Labuscaghne “there’s this realization that that there was a moment with her husband and now there’s this realization there’s a baby growing inside of me.”

The “sight” of realization. It probably ties in with the WOF view of faith being the substance of things not yet seen. He says, it may not look like the woman is pregnant yet, but there is already a “sight” of realization.

Sensitization. As an expert, boasts Jannes Labuschagne, the last phase is one of sensitization. Wikipedia defines sensitization as “a non-associative learning process in which repeated administration of a stimulus results in the progressive amplification of a response.
Sensitization is often characterized by an enhancement of response to a whole class of stimuli in addition to the one that is repeated. For example, repetition of a painful stimulus may make one more responsive to a loud noise.” The stimuli to which pregnant women may often respond are odors. They smell things others around them do not smell.”

However, Jannes Labuschagne, takes sensitization a step further. He says the woman may even start seeing and hearing things because her body is getting ready to receive the little baby.
Obviously, it is his way to sensitize his audience to receive and accept strange phenomena that may occur when their baby eventually arrives via spiritual male parturition in November.

A Personal Journey

If Jannes Labuschagne and his cronies loved Jesus so radically different from his Sunday-morning congregants who do things completely different, they would at least have obeyed Jesus’ command, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” (John 14:15; Matthew 24:4).

If there love for Jesus was really so radical as they claim, they would at least have obeyed his command in 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

If their love for Jesus was so radically genuine as they claim, they would never rely on extra biblical revelations, but, as Paul said, “not [to] go beyond what is written.” (1 Corinthians 4:6).

If they loved Jesus so radically intensely as they claim, they would’ve acknowledged what Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works,” and would have been content with what is written in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and never dare to go beyond it (Revelation 22:19).

Jannes Labuschagne readily admits that his so-called revelations concerning male spiritual pregnancy is not in the Bible and yet carries on regardless as if what he said is the Gospel. Why?

Because he is one of the modern-day super apostles and no one dares to dispute or correct him. If you do, you are summarily branded a Pharisee and a persecutor of their church, and probably suffer excommunication as some Christians, whose eyes have since been opened to their lies, have already experienced.

There are some incidents in the Bible where a man experienced pain so deeply intense that it was likened to pregnant women’s pain of travail during parturition. However, it had nothing to do with spiritual pregnancy to prepare for a baby.

It deals with God’s righteous judgments on Babylon and the prophet Isaiah’s sympathetic sorrows as he was deeply affected by her calamities (Isaiah 21:3; 15:5 and 16:11).

The pangs or pains of a woman in travail during parturition is always used in connection with God’s judgments, either on gentile nations or his own people, the Jews (Psalm 48:6; Jeremiah 4:31; 6:24; 13:21; 22:23; 30:6; 49:24; 50:43; Micah 4:9-10).

False teachers are very skillful to admit that their teachings are not in the Bible but unhesitatingly read passages from God’s Word to assure their audiences that they genuinely and radically love Jesus, regardless of how grossly they distort His Word to the advancement of their own weird and crazy ideas.

To verify his notion that their church has already entered the phase of realization and that God has already impregnated them during their times of prayers and fasting, Jannes reads John 1:35-39 and explains his reason for reading this passage as follows.

He asks, “Why am I reading this Script? Because I believe that something of this baby that we’re expecting, something of this preparation that we’re getting ready for, will entail a visitation of Jesus. . . . Some people call it revival. I’m just thinking, I just want Jesus to visit. I want, I want TO SEE what it looks like when Jesus builds his church. I want TO SEE what it looks like when Jesus breaks out. I want TO SEE what it looks like when Jesus is the sole purpose of our worship, our lives, our attention, and everything that revolves around him. I wanna SEE what that looks like.”

In our Postmodern society where experience and the gratification of the senses have taken precedence over biblical faith (Hebrews 11:1), feeling, hearing, and seeing in the extra-biblical revelatory sense have done away with biblical prophecy.

Biblical prophecy has taken a backseat in the New Apostolic Reformation movement, the result being that they never properly exegete passages in Scripture where prophecy is dealt with and instead superimpose those prophecies on their own interpretation thereof. Jannes Labuschagne’s reading and subsequent eisegesis of Luke 19:35-44 is a perfect example.

Instead of explaining to his audience that Jesus’ indictment of the Jews’ unbelief despite them having seen, heard and experienced the many miracles, signs and wonders He performed, was the real cause that led to the fulfillment of his prophecy in Luke 19:43-45, Jannes honed in on the revelation of his visitation they allegedly missed.

He laments ad nauseum (no pun intended) his church members’ lack of revelation despite the fact that they are already spiritually pregnant with the baby and getting closer and closer to parturition. He bewails the notion that . . .:

It’s possible to miss the visitation from God. It’s possible to miss Him because you are not living with revelation. You’re not living, recognizing the season you’re in, the process you’re in, the pregnancy you’re in. It’s possible to miss the baby altogether.

Why? Because there’s no revelation. . . . . REVELATION ALWAYS PRECEDES VISITATION. . . . Jesus cries over Jerusalem. He says, if only you had revelation, if only you had the ability to recognize the revelation that I am God.

Jesus did not cry over Jerusalem because the Jews had no revelation that He is God. For centuries they had and still have umpteenth revelations in the Old Testament that Jesus is God. It’s called prophecy.

But of course, Jannes and his NAR and WOF pundits have no respect for God’s prophecies. That’s why he encourages his church members to get new revelations so that they may follow his super-apostleship and and lies instead of Jesus Christ. For instance, the passage in Luke 19 is clearly prophesied in Zechariah.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Zechariah 9:9

They had all these revelations in the Old Testament but refused to believe. Jesus cried over their unbelief and NOT because of the lack of revelation. That’s a lie from the pit of hell.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Romans 1:18-20

Oh, but the spiritually pregnant false teacher, Jannes Labuschagne is so skillful in making excuses that he’s audacious enough to say, “they had no revelation.”

Jannes keeps on repeating that his congregation needs a revelation of Jesus, of who he is, of what He has done on the cross and what He is doing now in heaven.

There’s not a single verse in Scripture that says you need a revelation in the experiential sense of seeing, hearing and feeling to know who Jesus is.

Paul says faith comes by HEARING and hearing by THE WORD OF GOD (Romans 10:17). God’s Word is his complete and perfect revelation – from Genesis to Revelation – and NOT some new kind of weird extra-biblical revelations produced by demons. (1 Timothy 43:1; 2 Corinthians 5:6-7). Remember, Jesus said,

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

John 20:29 (see Hebrews 11:1)

Yet, Jannes Labuschagne, in derision of true biblical faith, says,

“I just want Jesus to visit.

In reference to the unbelieving Jews in Luke 19:35-44 Jannes said:

What’s the easiest way to prod others to fall in line with your ideas, your beliefs and your mindset? You tell them they are a bunch of fascists to make them feel lousy about themselves.

By the same token the word Pharisee is used frequently to ridicule and vilify “dissidents” in religious circles. Rather than being the odd one out, most church goers compromise their views to be in vogue with the majority.

This must be the reason why God commands us not to follow the majority to do evil and neither to pervert justice and truth for the sake of unity (Exodus 23:2). Unfortunately, whenever true born-again children of God obey Jesus who said that we should not believe every spirit but test everything with the Word of God because many false prophets have gone into the world (1 John 4:1), to take heed that we are not deceived (Matthew 24:4), they brand you a Pharisee and a conservatist.

Whenever God’s real born-again sheep who know his voice and flee from strangers (false teachers) because they do not acknowledge them as true born-again shepherds of God, and because they know that spiritual men and women judge all things, (1 Corinthians 2:15), they are labeled Pharisees (John 10:1-5).

Why? Because these charlatans do not want you to be Bereans who search the Scriptures daily to make certain whether their pastors’ teachings are in accord with the Bible (Acts 17:1). They want you to dance tot their tune. Paul wrote:

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Acts 20:29-31)

Paul warned his brethren night and day with tears to watch out and mark those who came to them in sheep’s clothing but are indeed ravenous wolves (Matthew 7:15). Today, hardly anyone listens to or heeds the tearful warnings of Paul, Jesus and the other apostles. Why? (2 Timothy 4:3; 1 John 4:6).

Don’t Be a Criticizer

The moment you question the NAR’s and WOF’s teachings they immediately label you a criticizer. Jude’s’ warning to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” (Jude 1:3), that is, to Christ’s twelve apostles and Paul at one single time in history, is of little concern to them.

Instead, they contend that their revelations of faith, their modeling of Jesus, their great feats of healing, casting out of demons, raising the dead, and creating the Kingdom of God through their imaginary changing of the cosmic atmosphere, are some of the new revelations that supersede those of the original apostles and prophets (Matthew 7:21-23).

God commands us to judge all things (1 Corinthians 2:15). You can have a whole room full of spiritually pregnant men lying on the floor in the fetus position until the cows come home, NONE of them can be deemed spiritually mature according to biblical standards.

Why? Because they cannot judge something in the light of God’s Word when it is not found in the Word, as Jannes Labuschagne so rightly admitted. You cannot possibly apply any law of a country when it is not written in the law and its constitution. That’s obvious, isn’t it? Any fool will tell you that you need a set of rules and regulations to judge something as being right or wrong. Even the Antichrist will have a set of times (seasons) and laws (Daniel 7:25). And yet the spiritually pregnant macho ex-rugby player persists that –

I don’t wanna criticize God, I don’t wanna point fingers . . . . I don’t wanna be the judge; I don’t wanna be the decider.  I wanna say, Lord whatever you need to do in my life, do it because I don’t want to miss anything that you’re doing.

Only a spiritually immature person will believe and accept everything however weird, strange and crazy it may be, to come from God.

So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit].

Ephesians 4:14 AMP

Indeed, no-one should be the ultimate decider. We already have the Word of God in its complete format which God decided for us to study and learn to know and follow his Truth. (Psalm 119:9; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Timothy 1:4). It is extremely dangerous to go beyond the Word of God and seek guidance through extra-biblical revelations for one’s life. Those who do not stay within the bounds of Holy Writ and teach all kinds of new revelations are in danger of being cast out.

Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what He taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.

2 John 1:9

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whore mongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Revelation 22:14-15

Making up lies and pretending it to be the truth, is mentioned in the same breath as dogs, (referring to people, Philippians 3:2), sorcerers, whore mongers, murderers, and idolaters.

The fact that Jannes Labuschagne teaches his congregation not to be sober, vigilant alert and watchful lest the devil devours them like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but, instead, to yield to, accept and receive anything as from God, no matter how weird, how strange and how unconservative it may look like, identifies him as the real culprit who is causing his congregation to miss the mark (which is the real meaning of sin).

The apostle John explicitly warns “Beloved, do not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world (1 John 4:1 AMP).

Jannes Labuschagne, in direct opposition and disobedience to God, says, Go with the flow all you spiritually pregnant and revelatory perceptive goody-goodies if you don’t want to miss anything weird, strange and bizarre when the baby shows up in The Base Church in November sometime.

On What Do We Need to Get Revelation?

The rest of Jannes Labuschagne’s sermon is a lesson in how to authenticate fables (fiction) with Scripture. Listen carefully to what he says.

Indeed, Jesus often asked some great questions. In the book of Jannes chapter 16 and versus 15 to 17 Jesus asked, “’Whom say ye that I am?’ And Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You know, Jesus, the fact that you are God is quite an interesting concept. Nonetheless, the most staggering thing about you is not that you are God, but a model and a prototype to show us what our lives should look like.’

And Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for the spiritually pregnant ex-rugby player, Jannes Labuschagne of The Base Church in Mulsersdrift, South Africa, revealed it unto thee.’” What’s more, Jesus once explained the reason for his coming to the earth in the book of Jannes chapter 19 and verse 10, “For the Son of man is come to be a model for you on how to live and walk in reverence of mission to God.”

It is evident that the doctrine of incarnational spirituality has had some influence on The Base Church. Jesus was not a kind of robot during his lifetime on the earth whom the Holy Spirit needed to direct and guide every step of the way.

As God, the Second Person in the Trinity, He knew exactly what, when and where He had to do the will of the Father. The Holy Spirit’s work in his life was not a kind of dictatorial “do as I say” as if Jesus Christ was inept to know when He had to turn left or right. That’s ridiculous.

The Holy Spirit’s work in relation to Jesus’ life was a participatory, assisting work like that of a Helper. Yes, the Holy Spirit guided Him, and He always did exactly what his Father wanted Him to do with the help and in the power of the Holy Spirit. How do we know?

Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 8:28

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 5:30

The hearing (obedience) and doing of Jesus was fundamentally in harmony with the will of his Father through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. He knew exactly when to turn left or right because his Father had already taught Him. The Holy Spirit enabled Him to do the will of his Father one hundred percent.

His Father taught Him (past tense; either before his incarnation, or during his childhood days, or both) everything He had to do here on earth. It shows that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit were all in accordance with what He had to do.

We shall see later why Jannes Labuschagne emphasizes to the extreme why Jesus only knew when to turn left or right by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Mortal Danger of Missing Out on Revelation

Besides the revelation Jannes Labuschagne got that Jesus Christ’s divinity, equal to that of the Father and the Holy Spirit, is quite an interesting concept, he also revealed to his congregation the following awe-inspiring and dreadfully fearful and prophetic word. He said

If you don’t get revelation that Jesus’ life on this earth is a model for you and me to follow, you will miss when God shows up and visits us.

This is a typical example of what Revelation 22:14-15 talks about when it says, “making lies.” Jesus never said that following Him means to model our lives after his life when He lived on earth. And Neither did He say that our modeling after his life on earth is the litmus test for an encounter or a missing of his visits. The truth is this. He said:

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matthew 16:24

Dead men cannot possibly model their lives after Christ. Paul tried it and failed again and again until he cried out, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20). It is a far cry from Jesus being our model whom we should copy in all things.

This is NOT the Gospel of God. It is another gospel, another Jesus and another spirit (2 Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:6). It is pathetic how many people hang on his lips when he says God-dishonoring things like “If you think Jesus’ life was all about just dying on a cross you are missing so much of the Gospel.” Why? Here are some answers:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Matthew 22:29

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Ephesians 4:18

The man who died on a cross next to Jesus never had a chance to model his life on the life of Jesus but merely believed in Him and is now in Paradise with Him. I wonder how many so–called Christians who believe that the Gospel and eternal life are Jesus’ crucifixion PLUS the modelling of your life on Jesus’ life when He was on earth, are going to spend an eternity in hell (The Lake of Fire).

Jannes Labuschagne’s assertion that Jesus’ death on the cross is only half of the Gospel and that you are in deep trouble if you realize you don’t have the Holy Spirit to live the kind of life Jesus lived on earth, is pregnant (pun intended) with suggestive NAR-NCMI terminology.

  1. It suggests that faith alone in the finished work of Christ on the cross is deficient to save sinners. Hebrews 4:2 and many other verses in Scripture prove that faith and faith alone in the Gospel is necessary to save lost sinners (Mark 1:14-15).
  2. It suggests that the Holy Spirit has no active part in the redemption of the lost and that He is only allotted as an aftermath to those who realize they are in deep trouble because they think they only need to believe the Gospel.
  3. It suggests that someone needs to lay hands on you, preferably a super-apostle in the class of Jannes Labuschagne, for you to receive the Holy Spirit. Falling backwards (slain-in-the spirit) is the proof that you received the Holy Spirit, and of course the concomitant speaking in tongues.
  4. It suggests that you are not saved  if you fail to follow Jesus as a model and do not heal the sick, cast out demons, create the Kingdom of God on earth and change the atmosphere, raise the dead, and miraculously save the lost without preaching the cross to them. (1 Corinthians 1:18).

But wait! It gets even worse when Jannes continued saying –

OK Sir, Would you mind dying on a cross for the sins of the world, today? Surely, it includes everything He did, no so? He continues to say –

Can I tell you, by the way, not everyone is gonna clap and say Wow, you are blessing us. Jesus’ life was full of suffering, full of persecution, because when you start carrying the life of God, the activity of God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, not everyone gets excited about that. So Jannes, some are going to leave you when Jesus comes to visit. . . . Because you are more concerned about being in control than with being with God.

This is what they call “dangling the proverbial carrot with a stick before a donkey to get him to move in the direction you want him to go.” Peter wrote:

“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; . . . For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1 Peter 3:17

Jannes Labuschagne, on the other hand, encourages his church members to accept and receive all supernatural activities regardless of how strange, weird and bizarre they may be, and not to be concerned about the persecution they may suffer because Jesus suffered as well.

Well, Jesus, as Peter says, suffered for righteousness and truth. Labuschagne’s deliberate failure to urge his church members to test all things and every spirit to make 100% certain whether they are of God (1 John 4:1) is evil and, therefore, cannot be classified as persecution and suffering for the sake of Jesus.

In fact, Jannes Labuschagne willfully and maliciously teaches his church members to disobey Jesus Christ’s command “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matthew 24:4).

As far as I can recall and having searched the Scriptures, I noticed that “being with God” is not something you can achieve by relinquishing your control, especially by letting go of your rational faculties, your mind, and haphazardly accept everything supernatural that comes your way, no matter how weird, strange or bizarre it may be.

“Being with God” in biblical terms means to boldly have access to the most holy of holies in heaven – NOT through weird revelations or experiences when the pastor lays his hands on you to supposedly receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit – but through the blood of Christ Jesus.

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Hebrews 10:19-22

His blood and his blood alone give truly born-again children of God access to Him so that they may live a life here on earth daily in his presence.

God Works in Weird, Strange and Crazy Ways that may Leave You Feeling Uncomfortable

A dear friend of my wife who often visits her at our home, once told her that she wouldn’t feel comfortable in their women’s meetings at The Base Church. If the Comforter (Holy Spirit) and Jesus Christ (the Sender of the Comforter) are present in their meetings, as they claim them to be, there is no need to feel uncomfortable, unless someone else is making them feel uncomfortable (1 Timothy 4:11).

The dear lady mentioned above persists that one must go to church regularly because Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).  Yes He did, but He also said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Here’s an example of some of the crazy things God allegedly tells them to do.

Question: How do you explain it when someone experiences strange and weird things in his stomach, it is diagnosed as a demon that needs to be literally punched out of existence, and when a super-apostle also experiences strange contractions in his stomach, it is not a demon but God who impregnated him with the life and activities of Jesus?

How do he know it’s not a demon posing as Jesus? Oh, yes of course, it was God’s Holy Spirit who told him so (2 Corinthians 11:4)

If you want to follow Jesus’s model of how to live and how to do things the way He did it whilst He was here on earth, you cannot punch someone in the stomach to exorcise a demon because Jesus NEVER punched people in their stomachs.

In fact, the word “stomach” never once appears in the Bible – ZERO, ZILCH, NADA. Jannes Labuschagne’s shenanigans of punching someone in his stomach who supposedly had a demon, is a classic example of how the last days’ false teachers trick their audiences.

They pride themselves in the precept that they have revelation knowledge and, therefore, have no need to consult holy writ to make sure that their experiences are truly from God (1 John 4:1). And another thing, when Jesus and his disciples cast out demons, they immediately left their victims and not a day later as in Jannes Labuschagne’s case of exorcism.

What’s The Point?

How about doing what God says in Matthew 24:4, 1 John 4:1, 1 John 4:6, Ephesians 4:14. What Jannes Labuschagne actually means is that when he says God told him so and so, the members of his church must do it, no matter how strange, bizarre or weird it may be.

Yes, even when he affirms with divine conviction and faith that all his church members are pregnant, including the men folk, they must believe it and prepare  themselves via revelations for a crazy parturition and the arrival of a baby.

Can you imagine what it would look like when an entire church, including the men folk, lie on the floor in the fetus position,  groaning with pain like a pregnant woman in travail while she energetically inhales and exhales, and pushes and pushes until the baby passes through her female anatomy. Wow, what a sight!

Touché. Indeed, we need to be convinced that it’s God who said it. Why? Because the devil and his angels can present themselves as angels of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). How do we discern whether it’s Satan or a demon speaking and not God? Here’s a good example.

Jannes said, “What if God asked you to do some weird things, some things that leaves you uncomfortable.” Merely the word “uncomfortable” proves that it cannot be from God’s Holy Ghost because He is the Comforter and not the Un-comforter.

Even in the direst circumstances, some of them leading to death in times of harsh persecution, the Holy Spirit comforts saints and does not make them feel uncomfortable. (Philippians 4:6-7)

The Activity and Revelation of Singing Angels

Jannes Labuschagne continued saying:

The preacher should have disobeyed the voice that told him to stand on his head because saving faith comes by HEARING the Word of God and hearing by the unadulterated PREACHING of a God-fearing messenger of God, and not by standing on your head like in some kind of Yoga position, or through the singing of angels. (Romans 10:17). That’s not obedience. That’s just silly tomfoolery.

The person who told him to stand on his head hindered him to preach the Gospel. Listen to this for the umpteenth time and hopefully it will finally reach the hearing of the NAR cronies who believe the kind of nonsense Jannes Labuschagne preaches.

I charge thee, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead in his appearing and in his kingdom: Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, they shall heap up unto themselves teachers who shall speak to them according to their own lusts, and thus they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall return unto fables. [like standing on your head to get the approval of the Holy Spirit when you are supposed to preach the doctrines of God]

2 Timothy 4:1-4

This is just another example of Jannes Labuschagne’s crass contradictions to deceive the members of his church. He admits that we should be convinced that it is God speaking to us and not someone else.

In contradistinction, however, like the preacher whom he visited, he was convinced that the singing the pastor heard was that of holy angels. I can assure you it was not the singing of holy angels but of demons who posed as angels of light. How do we know?

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

Hebrews 1:1-4

In the past (Old Testament times) God often spoke in diverse ways through his chosen prophets, as well as through the visitation of holy angels. Now, in these last days, He has spoken to us through his Son who is more excellent in majesty, magnitude and magnanimity than the angels.

Moreover, the Son and his Holy Spirit will never command anyone to do something silly like standing on their head just prior to a sermon. Are there any examples in Holy Writ where Jesus modeled for us an incident by telling someone to stand on his head?

Again, we must affirm that there is nothing even close to it – Nada, Zilch, Zero. If they really want to pattern their lives after Jesus Christ’s model they should at least check their patterns by the Word of God and not so-called revelations which leave you feeling uncomfortable, crazy, dizzy, drunk in the spirit, pregnant in the spirit and what not.

These things do not come from God but from Satan and his demons who aim to defile, destroy and harass people for whom Jesus died on the cross. Flee from these so-called pastors and their churches. Jesus said,

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”

John 10:1-5

Are you listening to and following strangers (false teachers)? It may be that you are following them because you are not saved and do not know Jesus Christ’s voice (AS WE FIND IT IN HIS Word and his doctrines). There is only one option open to you – repent of your evil and flee from strangers and false teachers like Jannes Labuschagne and his cronies in the NCMI.

The Revelation on Jesus’ Death

Jannes labuschagne surely knows how to contradict himself without being shameful about it. First, he says that the life of faith is not about being comfortable. The word “comfortable means to be content, happy, calm, at ease, restful and secure. These are all attributes the Holy Spirit grants God’s saints when they walk and live in his truth (fully encompassed in his eternal Word) and abide in Jesus Christ (John 15:4; 17:17). Paul says,

“Be careful about nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

The Amplified Bible says it thus:

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Paul writes:

“And protracted wrangling and wearing discussion and perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness or righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. From such withdraw. [And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that contentment which is a sense of inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of the world; But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content (satisfied). But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing. For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.

1 Timothy 6:5-10

No, no, no, saith our illustrious last days’ false prophet based in The Base Church, Muldersdrif. Jesus died as our substitute on the cross and became poor so that we may be rich. Now please tell me. What is so radical and uncomfortable about that?

Living in divine health, wealth and prosperity (the abominable Word of Faith garbage Jannes Labuschagne teaches his church members) do not cause any discomfort, and neither does it teach you how to die to your flesh.

It rather boosts the flesh to new heights of eternal misery in the Lake of Fire. Indeed, ask false teachers like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Charles Capps, Cindy Jacobs, Creflo Dollar and many other WOF and NAR preachers how dastardly uncomfortable it is to live in astronomically expensive mansions, fly in exorbitantly expensive plains and eat the most expensive foods imaginable.

Lazarus knew what it felt like being uncomfortable and radically poor and destitute and not the rich man who has been in hell ever since this narrative in the Bible was penned down by Luke. (Luke 16:19-31).

And by the way, Jannes Labuschagne how do you explain this if Jesus became disease infested on the cross so that we may be without disease? You obviously know that many so-called anointed deliverers have tried to speak things into existence like God and it never worked for them.

The wife of Charles Capps, one of the major Word of Faith teachers who influenced Jannes Labuschagne’s own teachings on the creative dynamics of the power of our words, received medical treatment for cancer. In his booklet The Tongue, p. 43 Capps wrote, “I don’t deny the existence of disease. I deny the right of this disease to exist in this body, because I’m the Body of Christ.”

E.W. Kenyon, the Father of the Word of Faith Movement, and one of the initial teachers of divine healing who believed it always was and still is God’s will to heal His children died in a coma brought on by a malignant tumor. Kenneth Copeland said that Kenyon was sitting in a rocking chair, his daughter came into the room and Kenyon said, “there’s Jesus, goodbye,” and went to glory. It’s a lie. He died from disease.

Robert Tilton, God’s “profit” admitted he had to get special face-lifting surgery because of the danger of getting ink poisoning from laying on all the prayer requests he received. Why didn’t he command healing or speak health into existence . . . like he does for countless others over the airwaves?

Kenneth Hagin’s wife had to be hospitalized for an operation even though Jesus “appeared” to Hagin and gave him a special anointing to heal the sick (“I Believe In Visions”). People strongly believed that Hagin was an anointed deliverer and that the sick were healed whenever he spoke the word. I guess his own family members doubted his healing powers.

Joyce Meyer, the fastest fund-raising Word of Faith female preacher, admitted on Aug. 31st, 1998 on her morning broadcast TV show that she had breast cancer and was receiving medical treatment.

Moreover, Paul of Tarsus must have been unaware that Jesus took all his infirmities upon Himself so that he may live in divine health without ever being sick again, and, therefore, he sought God’s mercy to remove a thorn he had in the flesh? Is this true? Perish the thought. Here’s what God said in complete contrast to what our spiritually pregnant ex-Springbok rugby player asserts.

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Paul says,

“Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.”

Galatians 4:13-14

Can I repeat that, Sir Jannes Labuschagne? –  to use your own catch phrase to getting peoples’ attention. Paul took pleasure in his infirmities (diseases, maladies) because the weaknesses in his body made him spiritually strong. Peter extrapolated this phenomenon in these words,

“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

1 Peter 4:1-2

Wow! Can I repeat that, Sir Jannes Labuschagne? In contrast to your unbiblical interpretation on Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross, Peter writes that we should identify ourselves with Christ’s suffering.

WHY? Because when we suffer in the body as He had suffered on the cross, and welcome or take pleasure in these sufferings as Paul did, we are done with sin and will live in victory and spiritual strength for the rest of our lives.

Your teaching, Sir Jannes Labuschagne, is anti-biblical, anti-Christ and anti-Gospel. You are presenting another Jesus, another Gospel and another spirit to your church members. (2 Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:6-10).

I would like  to suggest that you abort the spiritual baby you are cradling in you spiritually pregnant body and rather take pleasure in the infirmities in your body (which I doubt you suffer from because you are presumably living in divine health because, as you said, Jesus became sick so that you may be free from disease).

You even went so far to say that Jesus became enslaved so that we can be free. To what or to whom did He become enslaved? Had He been in bondage to sin or the devil as all mankind had been and some still are, He could never have delivered a fly entangled in a spider’s web, let alone sinful man.

Your assertion that He became enslaved to sin and the devil so that we may be free, sounds a lot like Eddie Bakker’s insidious remark that Jesus had a body of sin like ours. (John 14:30).

The Revelation on Jesus’ Resurrection

Jannes continued to say –

We need to walk in revelation of the death of Jesus, friends.  We also need revelation on the resurrection of Jesus. What happened to Jesus when he was raised from the dead? When he ascended into heaven,

it is said that he received the holy spirit, he pours out his holy spirit. The father says that he will come and through the spirit he will teach you the father. He will bring revelation who the heavenly father is. The Bible says he will give you access to heaven. Wow! – not one day, some day, today.

Being part and parcel of the New Apostolic Reformation and the NCMI in particular, Jannes Labuschagne teachings are solidly based on the Five-Fold Ministry taken from Ephesians 4:11 and 1 Corinthians 12:28, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers,”

In addition, Labuschagne’s teachings are founded on Johnny Enlow’s Seven Mountain Prophecy” (2008; 115) which Lance Wallnau popularized with fortitude through his DVD’s. The central feature or codifier of the Seven Mountain Prophecy (also known as the Seven Apostolic Spheres and The Seven Gates of Society) is that Jesus Christ cannot return until humankind’s seven main spheres in society have been fully apostolicized (no pun intended. The word “apostolicized” is the author’s own creation to convey with intent the real demon behind this movement whose name is “apostatized”).

Lance Wallnau, one of the chief champions of The Seven Mountain heresy, is a prime example of the abysmal depths of apostasy into which the NAR has fallen. Labuschagne’s constant reprise of the refrain “do not feel uncomfortable when weird things start to happen in our church” echoes the crazy things Lance Wallnau claims to have heard of and experienced. Lance Wallnau told the story of –

. . . some “hookers” who used to hang out at a bar who were saved by a fellow patron who had found Christianity. Together, Wallnau said, these individuals “baked a cake for the owner of the bar, who was gay and very adamantly anti-Christian” and prayed over it that he would leave homosexuality.

“It was an anointed cake,” Wallnau said, “and they made the cake and gave it as a gift. And when he ate the cake … the power of God hit him.”

The “presence of God” fell upon the bar owner, Wallnau recounted, and he then got baptized, at which point “the spirit that was working him got broken off,” thus freeing him from his life of homosexuality.

(Source)

The cake which allegedly personified the presence of God is akin to the Roman Catholic wafer used during their Mass which, according to RCC doctrine, literally becomes the body (flesh) of Christ, attributing to it salvific properties.

These are the crazy new apostles of this season (a word Labuschagne often uses) to whom the God of the Bible supposedly has given a mandate (another buzzword Labuschagne likes to use) to usher in the Kingdom of God, “not one day, some day” but “now,” as Labuschagne says.

The “seven mountains” that allegedly need to be seized by spiritual warfare, prayer walks, and  good works, according to the NAR heretics C. Peter Wagner, Johnny Enlow and Lance Wallnau (including the NCMI), which is firmly entrenched in Dominionism, Kingdom Now theology, and is  a gross twisting of Genesis 1:28, are —

  1. Education
  2. Religion
  3. Family
  4. Business
  5. Government/Military
  6. Arts/Entertainment
  7. Media

These are the high peaked mountains the self-ordained prophets and apostles claim they need to conquer in compliance with their so-called God-given mandate.

Christ’s return is dependent on their good works and miraculous deeds of dispensing the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, speaking things into existence, healing the sick and raising the dead, and ushering in the Kingdom of God. The objectives of the JKA (Judah Kingdom Alliance) provides a better insight into the NAR of South Africa (including the NCMI).

  • The JKA is a global apostolic alliance comprising of diverse autonomous ministries, churches and individuals who have covenanted to partnership in seamless relationships in order to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth. It was emphatically stated that the JKA will not be promoted but the ‘kingdom of God in every city and nation.
  • The JKA was founded on the premise that the household of God is built on the foundation of Christ Jesus as laid by the apostles and prophets (1 Corinthians 3: 11, Ephesians 2: 20). The JKA is committed to the
furthering of the apostle’s doctrine (Acts 2: 42), as entrenched within and revealed through the infallible word of God.
  • The JKA represents an alliance of elders who are passionately dedicated to the re-establishing of ancient truths and lost principles (Isaiah 58: 12), ensuring the perpetuation of God’s divine order and technologies in the earth’ (Naidoo 2009:48-49).

This is so far from what God’s Word teaches, it makes you want to weep with fear and trembling – in fear and trembling for the pitiful souls who are being led astray by his false teachings.

There is not a single instance in the Bible where Jesus is called a butler. Indeed, when He was still here on earth, He said that He had not come to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:28). He said this in the context of his disciples bickering among themselves regarding the position God the Father has prepared for two of his disciples to sit on his right- and left-hand sides in heaven.

In his rebuke he scolded them for their behavior resembling the princes of gentiles who exercise dominion and authority over others.

Isn’t this precisely what The Seven Mountain protagonists are doing when they strive to dominate all spheres of human activity in society, and venturing to set up a Theocratic utopia with their weird and strange teachings, and activities?

Notice how cleverly and deceitfully Jannes Labuschagne wove the same words into the alleged visitation of Jesus in November and his scenic description of Jesus as a butler standing at a door in heaven.

He uses the words, “strange,” “weird,” “crazy,” “freaking out” and “uncomfortable” in both instances. His main reason for doing so is to sensitize his church members for the alleged visitation of Jesus in November. You may recall what he said earlier:

I’ll tell you what. When you get revelation that I am Jesus, you will see heaven open and you’ll see angels ascending and descending, coming down, on a ladder.

I wanna take this slow. I don’t wanna lose any of this, this morning. When they get revelation, it enables them to get visitation.

Do you know what it looks like when Jesus comes to visit? It says, it’s like the angels are ascending and descending, heaven is open, there’s activity, activity; there’s activity of God in the place.

He says in effect that when Jesus visits them in November, it will be like Jesus admitting you into heaven, standing as your butler at the door, and encouraging you to trust him no matter how freaked out and uncomfortable you may feel because he will guide you.

I can assure you with firm conviction that no truly born-again child of God will be freaked out and feel uncomfortable when they arrive in heaven to be welcomed by Jesus the day they die.

To confirm his Jesus-butler model, Jannes Labuschagne says the following:

And sir, just in case you are feeling uncomfortable, by the way, you come in his surname. You are part of this family. Jesus is a butler, friend.

“Christ” is not a name but a title and means “the anointed one” and therefore, it cannot be a surname. What Labuschagne suggest to his congregation is that they are all anointed little Christ’s and that Jesus is their butler waiting upon them with his tailor made tuxedo to do their every beck and call.

This is a typical example of how the Word of Faith and New Apostolic crowds exalt themselves and depreciate Jesus Christ, not only to an exemplative model but also to a butler.

Their argument is that when the super apostles of their fraternity (usually the self-appointed pastors) who are supposedly on par with the twelve apostles of Christ, pray and ask God for something He is obliged to do what they request.

As a butler He is compelled to do what you ask because there is creative power in their words and speech.

Heaven is not a Destination When you Die; It is already Here on Earth, ready to be accessed NOW

No! Absolutely NOT. That’s not the Gospel. That’s not even a good falsification of the Gospel. It is pure, unadulterated blasphemy and a demonic misinterpretation of Hebrews 10:19-23. Paul , in reference to the resurrection of the deceased saints at the Pre-tribulation Rapture, said:

Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall all indeed be raised, but we shall not all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised without corruption, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1 Corinthians 15:50-53

It simply means that no one who still resides in his corruptible body (flesh and blood) can enter into heaven, let alone be escorted by the heavenly butler. Jesus, from room to room and eventually to meet the Father.

Jannes Labuschagne’s views are not only a despicable defamation of the resurrection of the saints and the Pretribulation Rapture, but also of Jesus Christ as a butler.

If Jannes Labuschagne’s rendering is not a dilution of the Gospel into his own forms and ideas, he would at least have begun with the central or focal truth of this passage which is, “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;” (Hebrews 10:19-20).

Not once did he refer to the blood of Jesus as the only way for believers to approach God in prayer in the most holy of holies in heaven. Instead, he encouraged his members to mix their faith (the ability to speak things into existence) and their righteousness, and to allow Jesus to use their imagination.

At one point Jannes said in Afrikaans “Oooooh, Nou mors eek met jou.” Indeed, he is not only messing with the minds of people but also with their hearts and souls.

Why would Jesus want to use sinful man’s imagination when the Bible clearly says, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

Additionally, Hebrews 10 never refers to Jesus as a butler which in the very least is a derogatory term to use for Christ Jesus. He is all believers’ High Priest and Advocate over God’s household and ever lives to pray for his sheep who know his voice and follow Him.

The High Priest in the Old Testament was allowed to enter the Holy of holies in the tabernacle, and later the temple, only once a year and that not without the blood of a sacrificial animal that was offered for his own sins and that of the people (Hebrews 9: 7).

Jesus entered the Holy of Holies with his own blood once and for all (Hebrews 9:11-12). Jannes Labuschagne’s diluted gospel says nothing of the sort. His gospel consists of a mixture of faith (speaking things into existence) and allowing Jesus to use your imagination regarding your alleged entrance into heaven “now” because, as Jannes said, “Heaven is not a destination for one day when you die. Heaven is a destination you can access now;.”

Hebrews 10 does not teach that you can literally enter heaven now so that Jesus the butler may escort you in and around to show you what it looks like in heaven.

What about Paul? Wasn’t he raptured into the third heaven? Not even he knew whether he was in or out of his body.

Did Jesus escort him as a butler throughout the corridors, rooms and mansions in heaven?  No! He merely heard unspeakable words which he was forbidden to repeat here on earth.

Unlike Paul who never wanted to boast about his many revelations but rather glory in his infirmities (2 Corinthians 12:1-7), today’s false super apostles boast that they have visited heaven many times to be escorted by Jesus the butler in and around heaven, and then to return to earth and speak in the heavenly languages they heard spoken in Paradise.

This alone proves that they are the end time false apostles and prophets who are willfully preaching another Jesus (a butler and not a High Priest), another gospel and are spiritually impregnated with another spirit.

The Last Phase of Physical and Spiritual Pregnancy and the Relentless Picking up of Ten-Cent Coins

Listen very careful to the next audio clip. He makes the sound “pheeeew” as if blowing on his audience.

The lily on the South Africa ten-cent coin is indeed an Arum lily as Jannes Labuschagne so rightly said. However, the god who told him to pick up ten-cent coins wherever he found them and to put them in his pocket, cannot be God the Father or Jesus Christ, and neither can it be the Holy Spirit.

Why? Because God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit who created everything, including the Arum/Calla lily, would never associate themselves with Grecian pagan myths (2 Corinthians 6:14-17).

According to Jannes Labuschagne the symbolism behind the Arum lily is of Christian origin. The truth is that people who call themselves Christians (Roman Catholics) who have a special affinity for Christianizing many other pagan myths, festivals, and certain days, and esteem Mother Mary to the point of reverence and worship which is due to God alone, also sanctified the original symbolism attached to the Calla flower. The Roman Catholic Church even has a Flower Theology. On their site Catholic Cultrure.org they state:

Over forty years of research undertaken by the religious project, Mary’s Gardens, has documented hundreds of flowers symbolically associated with Mary’s life, mysteries, excellences and divine prerogatives – as recorded by botanists, folklorists and lexicographers. This flower symbolism serves as a mirror of the popular faith which originated it in the countrysides of medieval Christendom. Prominent among the Marian flower symbols are those reflecting Mary’s immaculate maidenly spirituality; the life of the Holy Family in Nazareth, Mary’s Rosary Mysteries; and her divinely bestowed privileges and prerogatives.

Flower associations with Mary’s divine prerogatives include, for example, those associated with her Assumption (dogmatically defined just as we were starting our Marian research and reflection in the fall of 1950). Among these are the apocraphyl legend of the roses and lilies found in place of Mary’s body in her tomb; St. Bede’s 6th Century discernment of the translucent whiteness of the petals of the white lily as symbolizing the purity of Mary’s body and the gold of its anthers as symbolizing the glory of her soul, as she was assumed into heaven; and the lists of grains, herbs and flowers included in the Assumption Bundles, dating back to the 9th century, blessed at the altar on the feast of the Assumption – for which the ritual is preserved today in the Roman Rite.

Similar flower associations were found for the dogmas of Mary’s Divine Maternity, her Perpetual Virginity, and her Immaculate Conception; and also for other traditional doctrines such as Mary’s Divine Intercession, her Mediation of all Grace, her Protection of the faithful from evil, her Spiritual Motherhood of Christians and the Church, and her Queenship of Heaven and Earth.

The divine sharing bestowed upon and received to its fullest by Mary, as announced by the Archangel Gabriel – made possible her human cooperation as co-Parent, and also, mystically, as co-Creator (“The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his ways . . .”) with God the Father; as Co-Redeemer, at the foot of the Cross, with God the Son; and as co-Sanctifier and co-Renewer of the face of the earth with God the Holy Spirit for the building of God’s earthly Kingdom – of which she thus became Queen, in union with Christ the King.

The ”Flower Theology “according to Roman Catholic dogma, as seen from this article, is primarily symbolic of Mother Mary – i.e. her immaculate conception, her divine maternity, her perpetual virginity, her divine intercession, her omnipresent protection and mediation of the faithful, and her alleged co-redemptive work at the foot of the cross  – and has nothing whatsoever to do with Christ Jesus.

This begs the question whether Jannes Labuschagne’s ten-cent coin escapades have anything in common with Christ and his finished work on the cross? The Bible contains a lot of symbolism.

Nevertheless, symbolism of this caliber is nowhere to be found in the Bible. In fact, symbolism that is not justified by biblical facts, tend to retract from the central theme of redemption which is the blood of Christ.

Was this the reason why Jannes Labuschagne deliberately omitted the central truth of Hebrews 10 that the blood of Christ is the only substance that grants sinners access to God in the holiest of holies in heaven?

Postmodernism has infiltrated the church globally and is

“broadly characterized by tendencies to self-preferentiality, epistemological and moral relativism, pluralism and irreverence. . . . It is often associated with deconstruction, post-structuralism and institutional critique . . . Criticisms . . .  include insertions that it promotes obscurantism, and is meaningless adding nothing to analytical or empirical knowledge.” . . . Consequently, common targets of postmodern critique include universalist notions of objective reality, morality, truth, human nature, reason, science, language, and social progress.

Source

I know this is a mouthful but let us try to break it down into layman’s terms against the backdrop of what Jannes Labuschagne says in the above audio. His most shocking admission of guilt is that everything he experienced and said regarding the ten-cent coins is not in the Bible, but as he irreverently added, “We are not talking about the Bible.”.

As such it is meaningless and adds nothing to analytical or empirical knowledge, which in this case is the biblical narrative of the angel Gabriel’s annunciation that Mary would become pregnant by the Holy Spirit and bring forth the Saviour of the world in Luke 1:26-38.

Any fool with a little bit of sense and analytical or empirical knowledge of the Bible knows his God-dishonoring shenanigans are not in the Bible. If it had been in the Bible the narrative in Luke chapter 1 would probably have transpired as follows:

Angel Gabriel: Mary, how many ten-cent coins have you picked up and put in your pocket these last few months?

Mary: I haven’t counted them, but I think it’s about . . .

Angel Gabriel: Have you noticed the symbolism on the ten-cent coin?

Mary: Nooooo! I haven’t. Would you mind explaining it to me?

Angel Gabriel: The Arum lily which looks like a trumpet symbolizes me announcing to you the virgin birth of Jesus.

Mary: Really? I never thought of it that way. But . . . but please continue. This is really getting very interesting.

Angel Gabriel: The number 10 on the coin symbolizes perfect completion and the letter “c” as you can see is not capitalized; it is a minuscule letter “c.” Guess what? It symbolizes christ jesus. Why? In the Word of Faith Movement which is going to blossom like a calla lily in more or less two thousand years from now, everyone will be a god with a small “g” and that is why “christ is also spelled with a small “c.”

Mary: Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Jannes Labuschagne’s explanation of the Arum lily is the typical Roman Catholic view of the 19th Century custom to send a bouquet of Arums as a message of feelings without words. Like so many other pagan customs the Roman Catholic Church has adopted this custom to symbolize the annunciation of the angel Gabriel.

Nonetheless, if it is not in the Bible, as Jannes Labuschagne admitted, when and where did it originate? According to a source on the Internet “Fresh Trimmings” the Calla, also known as the Arum lily, originated with ancient Grecian mythology and religious paganism.

Zeus-and-Hera
Zeus and Hera

Zeus, the greatest of the pantheon of gods in Grecian mythology, was an adulterer who loved to cheat on his wife Hera. He slept with a mortal earth woman called Alceme, only one of many others, who became pregnant with Hercules, a demi-god with exceptional physical powers.

To hide his unfaithfulness, Zeus drugged his wife Hera and tricked her into breastfeeding Hercules which gave him his godlike superpowers. When Hera awoke from her stupor, she became so infuriated that she cast Hercules away from her and in doing so two drops off her breast milk fell to the earth and formed two of the most beautiful white flowers ever seen, the Arum or Calla lilies, named after the Greek word for beauty, “Kallos.”

The Romans associated the spike in the middle of the petals with male genitalia, eroticism and sexuality while the Egyptians had a more reserved outlook, linking it to fertility and the birth of babies.

In strict contrast to Jannes Labuschagne’s and the RCC’s view of the Arum/Calla lily, the Victorians, “having created a very reserved society, where lewd talk of love, sex, or anything other than good tea and cucumber sandwiches was highly taboo, Calla lily bouquets took on the role of a secret messenger in Victorian Britain.” They unearthed the most ancient meaning of the Arum/Calla flower in their intricately floral designs as an indication of their sexual desires.

Male Spiritual Pregnancy in Paganism

The concept of male spiritual pregnancy was from its outset steeped in ancient Babylonian and Grecian philosophy, particularly in that of Plato and Socrates. Paul of Tarsus summed it up in a nutshell when he said, “For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: (1 Corinthians 1:22).

Whereas the Jews wanted facts and truth to be substantiated by signs, wonders and miracles before they believed anything (Matthew 27:42), the Greeks preferred to dialogue among and debate things like love, justice, peace, righteousness and life in general in a philosophical way in their quest for wisdom and knowledge (Sophia) (Acts 17:16-21).

The Theaetetus is one of Plato’s dialogues, (the other one he wrote is called Symposium) concerning the nature of knowledge and was written around 369 BCE. “Socrates tells Theaetetus that he cannot make out what knowledge is and is looking for a simple formula for it.

Theaetetus says he really has no idea how to answer the question, and Socrates tells him that he is there to help. Socrates says he has modeled his career after his midwife mother. She delivered babies and for his part, Socrates can tell when a young man is in the throes of trying to give birth to a thought.

Socrates considers his philosophical work as midwifery (Maieutics). This method, later also called Socratic method, consists in eliciting knowledge by a series of questions and answers.” (Source)

Here we can see as clear as daylight that Jannes Labuschagne’s consistent urge to inspire his church members to get “revelation” internally or externally (like ten cent coins lying around everywhere) and to “allow Jesus to use their imagination” because they are all pregnant, is a contra-biblical Grecian pagan concept that despises the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In fact, his theology is a bad mixture of the Jews’ craving for signs, wonders and miracles, much like a pregnant woman craves for certain foods during her pregnancy, and ancient Grecian paganism that craves to bring into existence (the speech world) the revelation (ideas and thoughts) they encounter in their minds.

In the 42nd edition, issue 1 May 1992, pp 72-86 of The Classical Quarterly writes:

SPIRITUAL PREGNANCY IN PLATO’S SYMPOSIUM

Although Plato’s notion of spiritual pregnancy has received a great deal of critical attention in recent years,[i] the development of the metaphor in the Symposium has not been fully analysed. Close attention to the details of the image reveals two important points which have so far been overlooked:

There are two quite different types of spiritual pregnancy in the Symposium: a ‘male’ type. which is analogous to the build-up to physical ejaculation, and a ‘female’ type which is analogous to the physical experience of pregnancy as normally understood.

lt is the Form of Beauty. rather than the lover of beauty. that is pregnant at 2l2a. which means that in the course of Diotima‘s speech the role of ‘beauty’ changes from that of presiding deity in childbirth to that of sexual partner and mother.

I maintain that these points have escaped notice precisely because they have been effectively obscured — for very good reasons — by Plato himself.[ii]

In 1964 J. S. Morrison offered a new approach to the idea of spiritual pregnancy in the Symposium when he connected spiritual with physical ‘male pregnancy‘. As outlined in the Timaeus (73bff., 86c and 91cf.). and concluded (pp. 5&4) that:

it appears that Plato took the view that the divine seed derives from the brain and marrow of the man and that both the male and female sexual organs have a similar function as receptacle and in due course outlet for this seed…. If Plato subscribed to this view of the process of human generation, it is not surprising that he could describe the bringing forth of the child by male and female in similar terms. Both are births and both are accompanied (though in varying degrees) by pangs.

On this analysis male ‘pregnancy’ is the condition whereby a man is ready to ejaculate his seed. and the subsequent ‘childbirth’ is the ejaculation itself.

Plass (I978) rejects this thesis (p. 48). preferring to view ‘male pregnancy‘ as a term arising from ‘the confusion of sexual roles in a homosexual relationship‘. He suggests that the term may have been part of a ‘homosexual argot’: ‘a distinctive vocabulary which would naturally consist in large measure of words ordinarily used of heterosexual relationships transferred to pederasty‘ (p. 50). The main problem with Plass’ account is that he does not explain what the term may have been used to refer to. He ignores the actual use and development of the idea in the Symposium and so fails to grasp its basic message. Plass believes that the Symposium is ‘a sophisticated plea for pederasty‘ (p. 48); but a careful assessment of the spiritual childbirth metaphor in Diotima’s speech shows that the dialogue cannot be read in this way.

As Labuschagne admitted, his virtual reality of male spiritual pregnancy is not in the Bible. If it’s not found in the Bible from whence does it come? It comes from Satan, God’s adversary who has been trying to copy every single spiritual truth in the Bible since his fall from heaven, even the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. He has even gone so far to dupe so-called Christians that they are all spiritually pregnant with Christ.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 11:3-4

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Timothy 4:1-4)

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2 John 1:9-11

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

(Galatians 1:8-10

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:5-6

Conclusion

Paul of Tarsus wrote:

“And now, listen carefully: I know that none of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will see me again. For that reason I testify to you on this [our parting] day that I am innocent of the blood of all people.

Acts 20:25-26

Addendum

The Base Church of Jannes Labuschagne, male spiritual pregnancy et al, is firmly entrenched in the heretical teaching of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and the false signs and wonders of the Word of Faith Movement (WOF). The following info on the courses presented at the BLC (Breakthru Life Church) is taken from an article written by Rick Becker (17 May 2018)

1. HOSTING THE PRESENCE By Bill Johnson

“If God’s Presence lives inside of me, how does this impact my life? If I’m supposed to imitate Jesus, can I also walk in miracles and power? If the Holy Spirit is always with me, how do I hear and respond to Him? In this eight-session curriculum Pastor Bill Johnson takes you on an unforgettable journey, answering these questions from Scripture and reveals what it looks like to host God’s Presence in your everyday life.”

2. YOUR FINANCES – GOD’S WAY

“This is a course designed to guide you through the biblical steps necessary to walk in financial freedom, and will give you tools to safeguard your future from the pitfalls of financial traps. Father wants you to be in divine health- including your money.”

3. FIRESTARTERS SA

Developed by Bethel, this course “is designed to assist you in becoming a modern-day revivalist; to become a world-changer and history-maker in whatever sphere of influence in society God has placed you, whether in the marketplace, school, neighbourhood, community or home. The goal is to equip, empower and activate newcomers to a revival culture; new believers, as well as those who have never been fully activated in a supernatural Kingdom revival lifestyle. Throughout the course curriculum, the primary focus of Firestarters will be to help you encounter the Fire (passion) of the Father, demonstrated in signs and wonders, miracles, healing and prophetic insights that propel you towards your destiny as a modern-day revivalist.”

Jannes Labuschagne often uses the same lingo in his sermons.

[i] Socrates  in The Theaetetus , 150 b-c wrote: “My art of midwifery is in general like theirs [real midwives]; the only difference is that my patients are men, not women, and my concern is not with the body but with the soul that is in travail of birth. And the highest point of my art is the power to prove by every test whether the offspring of a young man’s thought is a false phantom or instinct with life and truth. I am so far like the midwife that I cannot myself give birth to wisdom, and the common reproach is true, that, though I question others, I can myself bring nothing to light because there is no wisdom in me. The reason is this. Heaven (Jowett: “the god”) constrains me to serve as a midwife, but has debarred me from giving birth. So of myself I have no sort of wisdom, nor has any discovery ever been born to me as the child of my soul. Those who frequent my company at first appear, some of them, quite unintelligent, but, as we go further with our discussions, all who are favored by heaven make progress at a rate that seems surprising to others as well as to themselves, although it is clear that they have never learned anything from me. The many admirable truths they bring to birth have been discovered by themselves from within. But the delivery is heaven’s work and mine.” From this it is abundantly clear that the phenomenon fo male spiritual pregnancy is a Grecian pagan concept. You won’t find it in the Bible.]

  1. Excellent article Tom.

It still astounds me how people can fall for stuff like this. Is it because they are in awe of their Rugby “idol” Jannes Labuschagne? Could very well be. That no matter what he says the crowd will cheer.

Wonder if there are going to be pictures of Jannes with his newborn? :giggle:

I have to say though your humour in this article is excellent, and I really laughed very hard in certain places.

  2. Hi Debs. I really tried very hard not be sarcastic until I again read this:-

And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing (in his loo), or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. (1 Kings 18:27)

This gave me the go-ahead to be sarcastic.

The message is simple you say there is a false group operating without declaring why they are false. Christians are supposed to be honest and transparent.

You clearly didn’t read the article at all.

Have the guts to comment out in the open:
Please come and comment under the article: https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2019/11/08/how-to-prepare-for-a-visitation-of-jesus/

  4. It is possible that Jannes Labuschagne may have read this article. The reason I say this is because his entire sermon on 10/11/2019 was based on Hebrews 10:1-25. Here, he never once referred to Jesus as our butler as he did in “Preparing for Visitation” but correctly adhered to the biblical text which refers to Him as our High Priest.

The reason why he used the term “butler” was to encourage his church members to enter into the most holy of holies in heaven by allowing Jesus to use their imagination so that He, as their butler, could escort them throughout heaven to experimentally show them around.

In other words, to EXPERIENCE an encounter with Him. the butler, and his Father. Apparently this could then also be experienced here and now on earth, in their church, in weird and crazy ways, i.e. male spiritual pregnancy et al. Jannes refrained from mentioning any of this in his most recent sermon. Instead he focused on verses 24 and 25.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Indeed, we should not forsake the assembly of believers. However, when the pastor who is supposed to shepherd the sheep with good and solid biblical food, strays from the truth and instead feeds them poison (doctrines that are not found in the Bible as Jannes himself admitted in reference to his weird and crazy ideas about male spiritual pregnancy), then the sheep should flee from him. WHY?

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. (2 John 1:9-11)

Toward the end of his sermon he invited people who were bound by any sexual sins (I assume he also meant homosexuality) to let themselves be baptized in water. He said this in reference to verse 22, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.” This is precisely what verses 28 and 29 warns against.

He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:28-29)

To suggest that H2O can do what the blood of Jesus alone can do, including the washing away of sexual sins, is pure blasphemy.

Good day. Me and my husband are frequent listeners of Jacob Prash. We were made aware of the NAR movement through his teachings and other people as well. My sister in law sent me the link of your website Iast week. I ‘ accidently’ clicked on Cindy Jacobs, and the whole article about The Base Church, whom we attend, came up.

If possible, me and my husband would like to talk to you. We know Jannes as a sincere, humble person, although some practices in the church were concerning to me for quite some time now. It seems that a lot of things I learnt the past 25 years are all deception….thank goodness that I start SEEING now!

    Please contact me through e-mail

  6. Dear Riana Schoonwinkel :hi:

I am sure Tom will get back to you if he has not already. I will forward your comment to him to remind him nevertheless. We mostly prefer it if people speak to us openly in this chat forum, for the simple reason that others reading can learn too.

Just remember sincere, humble people are often sincerely wrong. No amount of sincerity or humbleness can turn error into truth.

  8. Olaf says:

Hi Tom. Thanks for the article. Being in Australia, I am not familiar to this preacher, but is interesting how you use God’s word to expose the fallacies that these false teachers promote as truth. As you react the same way as Elijah did in exposing the priests of Baal, you have the God-given right to poke fun and be sarcastic about the illogical doctrine they promote as God’s truth.
After many decades of prayerful study, I came to realize that we are now in the last 4 years before the very end, and the picture of Revelation 12:2. “And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.” is about to become reality.
It appears that all of Christianity is STUCK in the BC Era, with regards to Daniel’s Chapter 9 prophecy. Nobody that I know realizes that Daniel 9 is a DUAL prophecy – of the TWO Advents. (just as in Isa.61:1 & 2 – See in Luke 4:18 & 19).
One can “Google” “Rebuilding Jerusalem Walls” – you will find that there are no less than 4 COMMANDS to rebuild Jerusalem.
What is interesting, there were only TWO occasions AFTER Christ (AD), and they were ~ 1533 AD and 2018/19 – that there was a renovation program to repair what the ROMANS had Damaged ~ 70 AD and the 6-Day war demolished with gunfire and explosives.
Dan.9:24. SEVENTY WEEKS are DETERMINED upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS, and to seal up the vision and PROPHECY, and to ANOINT THE MOST HOLY. [The KING of Kings?]
    Thus, the SECOND LAST repair was accomplished ~ 1535-1539AD, by the Ottoman Empire under Sultan Suleiman, we can EXPECT our KING of Kings to be anointed (1533 + 490 = 2023) – {WEEKS was translated from (SEVENED) or Shabua i.e. Years}
I have dicovered that the MISSING 7 YEARS of the 70 “WEEKS” (490yrs) in Daniel 9:24, is commencing the Time of Trouble in Dan.12:1. – I believe we should use HEBREW Calendar Years, because the BIBLE and its Prophecies were HEBREW in origin.
If 2023 is the END of the 70 “Weeks”, then the 69th WEEK starts in 2016. – October 3, 2016 is Day ONE of Heb.Cal. # 5777.
If Dan.12:1 tells of a Time of Trouble, then in the 12th Verse it says that we are BLESSED after 1,335 Days – Pentecost 2020!!!
Joel 2:28-32. (Holy spirit Poured out, and Whoever calls out to our Lord will be saved)
If the WOMAN “God’s People” is RAPTURED and cared for 1,260 Days before END of 2023 (September 16), we can EXPECT to see the Rapture on 4th April 2020 (1,260Days before 16th September 2023 – 4th April – or Nisan 10! – Exodus 12:3)
Exodus 12:3. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the TENTH [day] of this month they shall take to them every man A LAMB, according to the house of [their] fathers, a lamb for an house:
Choose a LAMB – Do you Choose this MAN to BE your Lawfully wedded HUSBAND?
Rev.21:2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her HUSBAND.

  9. Hi Olaf. I apologize for taking so long to respond. I need to say from the out-start that I do not agree with your rendition of Daniel’s prophecy. I suggest that you read this article.

    https://www.discerningtheworld.com/2013/09/17/daniels-seventy-weeks/

  10. Olaf says:

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for replying. I read the full article you posted earlier concerning DANIEL’S 70 WEEKS.
There are a few things that you may have believed that I hold as doctrine.
I am NOT a REPLACEMENT Theology believer. I hold on to the fact that ISRAEL is NOT put aside by God, and replaced by Christianity, on the contrary, there are 144,000 of Israel (be it figuratively or Literal), who will be RAPTURED on 4th of April 2020.
The Daniel 9:24-27 prophecy mentions several YEAR markers in the VISITATION Agenda.
We must be able to discern the TWO main visitations (Advents) as the focal points of the TWO-FOLD prophecy. I’ll elaborate: –
    “Command” +”70Weeks” – Start of BOTH Advent Count-downs. (457BC & 1533AD)
Concentrating on the LATTER half of the prophecy – (Pertaining to the REDEMPTION half – NOT the SALVATION first half)
    “62 Weeks” – 434yrs +1533 = 6th June 1967 – Luke 21:24 – Gentile CEASE occupation of OLD Jerusalem 6-7-67.
    “7 Weeks” – 49yrs – 1967 + 49yrs – 2016. TEMPLE Cycle (Jubilee) – Rev.11:1 Measure TEMPLE but NOT “Gentile 62Weeks”
    —————————————————————————–
    2016 = 62 + 7 = 69Weeks – Dan.12:1 – Michael stands & Time of TROUBLE -(The last 7yrs?) – Rev.11:2&3 – 42Mths +1260Days
2016 – TIME to Measure in TEMPLE Measurement (Hebrew Calendar) 3rd Oct.2016 (5777) – End of OBAMA (2009-2016) where the 7 YEAR confirm the covenant with many to change world direction – Trump takes over and recognizes Jerusalem.
    5777 + 1335days – Blessed is he who WAITS (Expecting?) = Shavuot – Pentecost = 30 May 2020.
WHO are EXPECTING? – WOMAN – Rev.12:2 – Waiting to be delivered – WOMAN – SEALED – First fruits Rev.14:4.
BRIDE – “Do you TAKE this MAN to be your Lawfully Wedded HUSBAND?” – Nissan 10 = Take a LAMB – 1 To a Household.
    —————————————————————————-
    5777 + 7 yrs = 5784. That year starts on Saturday 16th September 2023 – New Year/Month TRUMP blown. 1 Cor 15:52.
1 Cor. 15:52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
    The 7 YEARS is made up of 42 MONTHS (3rd Oct.2016 – 26th March 2020) – where the NEW Jerusalem (Bride) is down trodden – Rev.11:2 – The BRIDE is given WINGS of Eagle for 1260 Days/3.5yrs (Rev.12:6 & 14) – 1,260days from END is 4th APRIL 2020.
IS … 4th of April the RAPTURE? It is SATURDAY – NISAN 10 (Take this LAMB to be your …)
    —————————————————————————-
Dan:12:11. And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
The DAILY = ACTIVITY and as there is no SACRIFICING applicable after the Crucifixion.
The SETTING UP of the ABOMINATION (United Nations) – from the END – (2nd Advent) is 1,290 Days (26th February 2020)
So if the VOTE to SET UP World Govt. Happens on 26th February, 2020, we can be CERTAIN that the 42 Months of World Rule starts on 26th March 2020. (UN passes Resolution 30days before it is Ratified)
Rev.13:5. And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to CONTINUE forty [and] two months.
    CONTINUE??? WHO???
Rev.17:10. And there are seven kings: FIVE are FALLEN, and ONE is, [and] the OTHER is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must CONTINUE a short space. – (42months?)
The WHORE – if it IS the VATICAN, – which became a SOVEREIGN NATION in 1929 (Lateran Treaty) – the POPES are actually KINGS! – Since 1929 Treaty there are 5 POPES dying (Pope John Paul II was #5) BENEDICT = #6, and FRANCIS = #7.
IT APPEARS that FRANCIS will take control of UN as “TOP DOG” and CONTINUE 42 Months, and BENEDICT can RELINQUISH duty as PAPAL HEAD of Vatican, ~ after 26th March 2020.
    ———————————————————————————-
When BENEDICT becomes POPE again, the PEDOPHILIA and NAZI involvement in WW2, the WORLD will BURN VATICAN.
Rev.17:16. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and BURN her with fire.
I believe Elijah and Moses (Luke 9:30. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:) will again appear in the LAST 1,260days – WHEN the UN. World Govt Commences on 26th March 2020
Isa.42:9. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

  11. Hi Olaf. You may not be a replacement supporter but you definitely do not know what the difference is between the nation of Israel, including the 144 000, and the church (the Bride of Christ). The seven-year tribulation is a future event. It hasn’t happened yet. Neither do we know when the Rapture of the Church is going to take place. You seem to know more of the timing off the Rapture than Jesus. (Matthew 24:36). Revelation 7:1-8 says the 144 000 will be sealed, not Raptured. BY the way, are you a Jehovah’s Witness?

  12. Olaf says:

    Thanks Tom,
NO WAY, I do not align myself to ANY OFFSHOOT of the “MOTHER” church of ROME – That’s J.W.s included!
I strictly hold myself to what I read in God’s Word and what it reveals to me with the GUIDANCE of His Holy Spirit.
I am not Trinitarian either (i.e. Father/Son/Holy Spirit as “God’s” TRI-UNE Existence). I don’t think HUMANS can understand the GODHEAD till we experience Him FACE – To – FACE.
I am comfortable with the 3 states of H2O – Jesus said He was the WATER of Life, and that can be “SEEN” and “FELT”, whereas STEAM permeates every “Nook and Cranny” and CANNOT be seen! (Unless if the steam is water droplets, as in clouds and mist)
    —————————————————————————-
Tom, you are holding on to the MISTAKEN belief that the RETURN agenda “CANNOT be revealed” as ALL (What I understand) “Christians” say that we are kept in the dark as to the TIMING DETAILS. – Consider the following.
~32AD – NOBODY in the UNIVERSE Knew (PAST Tense) But God the FATHER in HEAVEN. – [Check?]
~90AD – John says in REVELATION – Rev.3:3. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt NOT watch, I WILL come on THEE as a thief, and thou shalt NOT know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev.12:12. Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and YE that DWELL in THEM. Woe to the INHABITERS of THE EARTH?) and of the sea! for the DEVIL is come down unto YOU, having great wrath, because HE KNOWETH that HE hath but a SHORT time.
(The WOMAN is RAPTURED, DEVIL [who ACCUSES – DAY AND NIGHT] …and THOSE SEED of WOMAN on EARTH who GO THROUGH till the END have the WRATH of the DEVIL?) Rev.12:
EVEN Daniel DID NOT know what HE wrote TILL John was SHOWN. Dan.12:8. And I heard, but I UNDERSTOOD NOT: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?
    9. And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] CLOSED UP and SEALED TILL the TIME of the END.
Rev.5:3. And no man IN HEAVEN, nor IN EARTH, neither UNDER the EARTH, was able to OPEN the book, NEITHER to LOOK THEREON.
Rev.10:10. And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ATE IT UP; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
    11. And he said unto me, Thou MUST prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Tom, if you REALLY KNOW what Daniel wrote, you would be BETTER than John, who DIGESTED what was written, and had to REVISE his PROPHESYING and prophesy the REAL meanings, otherwise WHY prophesy AGAIN???
The ONLY ANSWER that the FIVE FOOLISH Virgins were GIVEN by the GROOM was: –
Matt.25:13. WATCH therefore, for YE KNOW neither the day NOR the HOUR wherein the Son of man cometh.
WHAT do you UNDERSTAND in the term “WATCH”? – The “Wicked” see the HAPPENINGS and UNDERSTAND NOT.
Dan.12:10. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and NONE of the wicked shall UNDERSTAND; but the wise SHALL understand.
Tell me, WHY do we have TIME SPAN references in the Bible? – If we are an OFFSHOOT of the “Mother Church” we are under the CLOUD of MYSTERY! – WHY understand our “APPOINTMENT Card”, if we DON’T …HAVE an APPOINTMENT?
Rev.17:5. And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Sorry Tom for any UNINTENDED “railing accusation” toward you; My only hope is that you will read what is RELEVANT to the time we live in – LINKING the FACTS in Prophecy that have a fulfillment in today’s events.
If YOU and I ARE “Barking up the wrong tree”, and are included in the “FOOLISH” – we STILL have another chance to exonerate ourselves.
    – For the 5 FOOLISH Virgins (Who Believe in an ADVENT, but DON’T have an APPOINTMENT DAY! – or HOUR)
    Luke 12:35. Let your loins be girded about, and [your] LIGHTS BURNING;
    36. And YE yourselves like unto men that WAIT for their lord, when he will RETURN from the WEDDING; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto HIM immediately.
    37. Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find WATCHING: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
    38. And if he SHALL come in the SECOND watch, or come in the THIRD watch, and find [them] so, blessed are those servants.

I must TAKE the FOLLOWING warning to heart ALSO.
Matt.7:21. NOT every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH the will of my Father which is in heaven.

As for discerning Palestine (Israel) and God’s “CHURCH” – “NEW JERUSALEM” one cannot judge the other’s belief in discerning correctly if one doesn’t know them – NOR their motives.
I believe that “ISRAEL” as a NATION that God considers as HIS Children is located on this WHOLE Planet. I do believe that the REAL ESTATE is STILL a HOLY place where God will eventually have His Throne, but ONLY after the FOLLOWING.
Isa.66:22. For as the NEW heavens and the NEW earth, which I WILL make, shall REMAIN before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name REMAIN.
    23. And it shall come to pass, [that] from one NEW MOON to another, and from ONE SABBATH to another, shall ALL flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Rev.21:1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first HEAVEN and the first EARTH were passed AWAY ; and there was NO more SEA.
WE STILL have SEAS. – The “MOED” of the Jubilee Cycle (New Moons, Etc) is STILL relevant NOW as well as on the NEW Earth.

  13. Thanks Olaf. Do you believe in the Pre-tribulation Rapture for Christ’s own ((his Bride) and his Second Advent to the earth to rescue his people from the clutches of the Antichrist and the nations?
