Beth Moore, John Piper leads the Youth into Lectio Divina at Louie Giglio Passion’s Conference 2012

beth-moore-john-piper-leads-the-youth-into-lectio-divina-at-louie-giglio-passions-conference-2012

I said it before here: Louie Giglio – A Baptist with an Emerging Agenda and here: Louie Giglio – Sometimes Silence is Loud and here: Louie Giglio – Chasing The Experience (Part 1) that Louie Giglio was silently practicing Contemplative Spirituality but no one wanted to believe me.  Well here at Passion 2012 Louie Giglio teams ups with mystic Beth Moore and newly emerged Emergent John Piper to lead a whole bunch of youngsters down the path to hell.

Put before we focus on the actual Passion 2012 conference I want to just focus on Louie Giglio’s choice of names: 268Generation and Passion.

The website is 268generation.com and many other websites that all seem to point back to  268generation.com and is based on the following scripture:  Isaiah 26.  Now who bases an entire ministry on 1/2 of a prophetic scripture in the bible that from a layperson’s view seems like a scripture that can easily be distorted to support a “works” driven ministry?

The Kuyper Calvinism of Rick Warren

Rick WarrennThe Calvinism of Rick Warren

by Brenda Nickel Friday, 25 November 2011 – http://www.carylmatrisciana.com

Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Community Church in Lake Forest, California often finds himself at the center of controversy for joining hands with those of questionable doctrine and practice. One of the more surprising partnerships in recent years is his attachment to Calvinism and not just any Calvinism but what he cleverly calls “Kuyper Calvinism.” His switch to Calvinism has made for some interesting bedfellows as people on both sides of the issue are now related to one another and trying to manage their new found “cousins” in their family.

Announcement

Rick Warren’s shift to Calvinism was officially announced in 2007 when he was accepted into the membership of Together for the Gospel (T4G), a Calvinist organization that began with conservative Calvinists Ligon Duncan, Mark Dever, Al Mohler and C. J. Mahaney for the purpose of promoting Calvinism’s core “Doctrines of Grace” (aka TULIP). Warren released a statement explaining his association with T4G shortly after his acceptance saying, “I know this is going to be difficult for many to accept, but in the famous words of Martin Luther ‘My conscience is captive to the word of God!’ I look forward to building relationships with those with whom I have disagreed for so long. I am excited to now be a part of the Together for the Gospel team.” While this was Rick Warren’s “coming out” event, it’s not his first mention of Calvinism. He’s apparently held to the sovereign predestining purposes of God for some time.

Testing the Spirits – True Spiritual Discernment

Testing the Spirits

by Prof. Johan Malan

Christians should be able to test all doctrine in creeds, sermons, books, articles, as well as statements made during discussions, to determine if they are a true reflection of Scriptural truth: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1). Every religious message has a spiritual dimension to it – either the Spirit of truth who wants to guide us into all truth (John 16:13), or Satan’s spirit of error who is intent on deceiving as many people as possible, also within churches (1 John 4:6; 2 Pet. 2:1-2).

The testing is done by carefully comparing a particular statement or message with biblical pronouncements to determine its authenticity. If this is not done, false teachings will naively be accepted by those who are ignorant of what the Bible teaches (cf. 2 Cor. 11:3-4). Rather follow the example of the Berean Jews who welcomed Paul’s message with great eagerness but examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul had said was true (Acts 17:11). Their enthusiasm for the gospel, as well as their high regard for the apostle, did not preclude them from critically examining Paul’s message to ensure that what they believed was in full agreement with God’s Word.

Where is the U.S. in Bible Prophecy?

A new Pentagon report indicates China’s sustained military investments are destabilizing and exposes the Marxist giant’s global ambitions. The free world had better wake up to the security threat posed by this hegemonic menace.Last week the Pentagon issued its annual report to Congress, which warns, “China’s rise as a major international actor is likely to stand out as a defining feature of the strategic landscape of the early 21st century.”

Yes, a Future Kingdom, but Not a Kingdom Now

Hillsong - Kingdom Now Theology

Not a Kingdom Now

Prof. Johan Malan, Mossel Bay, South Africa (April 2011)  www.bibleguidance.co.za

It is of the greatest importance that Christians should expect a future kingdom – not a kingdom now, during the church dispensation. One of the very serious forms of deception, which the Christian church worldwide is exposed to, emanates from wrongly interpreted promises and commands that we should establish a visible kingdom here and now. An orientation of this nature is the breeding-ground for spiritual deception since it offers Satan’s alternate kingdom the opportunity of holding out to believers something else than that which the Bible promises us for the present dispensation: a different faith, a different way of life, a different status, a different world, and ultimately a different Christ and a different kingdom.

Kingdom now theology, also referred to as kingdom theology or dominionism, is founded upon a large number of false premises. It deviates from the pure doctrine of the Bible in a number of ways. The following 20 characteristics of our present position in the world refute a kingdom orientation for the church dispensation:
