Oh but I must just say how excited I am about the times we are in and the return of Jesus. BTW Russia has had the worst drought in 120 years. I find that interesting.

Burning Lamp, Thank you for those encouraging words. Yes indeed we are in the VERY last days as I see it in my own life not being able to have fellowship with like minded people. Imagine how hard it has to be for those living in Muslim countries and China.

Louise, I live in another part of the world, but I hear and share your anguish. We drive a long way to find fellowship where the truth is taught. I looked for a church to recommend to a close family member as they cannot drive as far. There was one that was a possiblity and I was hopeful. I was about to send the link and direct them when I saw that this church is starting a Beth Moore women’s Bible study and the pastor quoted J.P. Moreland on the weekly bulletin. I cannot in good conscience send anyone to this church – what to do? It is like we are living in the Dark Ages but no one recognizes the darkness. We are voices crying in the wilderness.

The leaven is on the doorstep of my own fellowship, waiting for an opportunity to enter and multiply. I seem to be the only one who is on guard and seeking to keep it out. For now it is kept at bay but I don’t know for how long.

Louise, honoring truth and being steadfast is lonely business. But it helps to remember our Lord and the lonely path He walked, and the prophets before Him. I think of Jeremiah who persisted for 40 years speaking to deaf ears. We must persevere and continue to seek out those of like mind. We are out there. This place is a Godsend for people like us who need encouragement and to know we are not alone in the world. And we can in a small way offer a word of encouragement to others.

May the Lord bring you fellowship and encouragement. Keep looking up – our Redemption draws nigh!

I can just praise our Heavenly Father that there are still places like this where one can ask questions and received answers backed by Scripture from true and humble reborn Christians. For a fairly new child of the Lord it can be a minefield out there!

You are 100% correct. So when all these people attend these revivals in the thousands that is what they call fulfilling the great commission. But the gospel they preach is not the gospel of Jesus Christ but another gospel that will lead them all astray.

I was reading 1 Corinthians 1:23 last night where Paul explains they preach Christ Crucified. In other words Paul preached the salvation, repentance and the blood/death and resurrection of Christ. And now I understand also your explanation. Christ expects us with His Great Commission to go out and preach the gospel, but to preach Christ Crucified. They (dominionist) preach another Gospel and not Christ Crucified.
Am I correct in the above?

Ok here goes, we are hungry and desperate to have fellowship with others and ALL of our friends have fallen away and I mean ALL. We are in the West Rand. Is there anybody out there who can help us. Please no church. Just dying to have fellowship with the body of Christ on a one to one. I hope I wont get blasted for placing this on the site but we are so hungry for fellowship. We are driving to Durban to have fellowship with 2 other people and we cannot wait. So if you do know of anyone close to us please let me know. Please
