We should initially react by not casting any stones of judgment. Every situation has its own context, therefore anything construed as sin – such as this murder – has to be put in a specific context: Why was there a wage dispute? Was the two perpetrators driven by revenge, racial hatred or other extreme feelings? How did Mr Terreblanche generally treat his workers – humanely as people with dignity or did he keep up to his reputation as a white supremacist? All these factors need to be taken into consideration before we can draw any conclusions.
