John Piper – Taking Leave and Asks for Forgiveness

I saw this article and just had to post it. John Piper!! Please tell us soon as to what you are asking forgiveness for. I understand 30 years of ministry can take it’s toll and your deeds and character flaws are not what’s concerning to us, or want to know about. It’s what you have been preaching and who you have been siding with that we want to hear you say sorry for.

I pray that whatever is happening in your life that Jesus Christ the Son of God is renewing your relationship with Him that it will be unstoppable! And that you come back 8 months from now a NEW man in Jesus Christ, with a STAND for the TRUTH that will knock the socks off everyone! IF NOT, then no amount of prayer from anyone is going to help you, if you don’t see you are following false doctrine. Also what’s the point of asking everyone to pray for you when you can have thousands of people praying for you who are not even saved. Who will they be praying too on your behalf? But you should know these things, you are the pastor after all.

A first step would be to get rid of all these people in your life that are deceiving you. I see in this ‘apology’ of yours that you still want to advertise your ‘vision’ for the world. What vision is that? How can men have a vision and mission that contradicts the Word of God. Surely your vision should be focused on Jesus Christ alone and not on this world. When you come back are you going to warn people of the deception in the church and the turning back to Rome, or carry on with this NWO vision to see this earth look like man-made-heaven with a false Christ?

Anyhow, if you want me to tell Mark Driscoll to get lost on your behalf, just let me know ;)

Ten Kinds of Foolishness

The knowledge of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Prov. 9:10). Contrary to this, the beginning of foolishness is to deny God and think and live according to one’s own, limited understanding. The natural knowledge and desires of human beings are perverted because of the Fall. A life without the knowledge of God is the breeding-ground for deception and wrong priorities. The Bible refers to the following ten kinds of spiritual foolishness, some of which even Christians may be guilty of:

1. The foolishness of denying God

“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt and have done abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Every one of them has turned aside; they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one” (Ps. 53:1-3). Paul elaborates further upon this moral depravity: “With their tongues they have practised deceit… whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes” (Rom. 3:13-18).

God looked down upon a heathen world in which there was nobody who was inclined towards Him. Man was created in the image of God and called upon to become conformed to His holiness and righteousness. But they all turned their backs upon Him and became wicked. Instead of manifesting God’s image of holiness they lapsed into sinful, immoral lives and apostatised further as time passed by. Some of them served vain idols that were made by their own hands. Others became agnostic and gave free reign to their evil desires.

What do you do when?

What do you do when:

People trapped in blatantly false teaching escape their captors evil clutches and run off seeking Truth in the direction of men who don’t have ‘I am false’ written with a marker pen on their foreheads?

What do you do when: These men preach the truth, they have the gospel message down to a fine art except when it comes to the message of salvation. This is where they know they will trap the soul.

They teach the truth but stop just short of teaching a genuine message of salvation.
Twist the deity of Jesus Christ just ever so slightly to make their entire message a waste of time.
Twist the meaning of the blood of Jesus just slightly to make their message of salvation null and void.
Twist the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the cross just ever so slightly and the message is null and void.
Add works and they’ve destroyed it.
Remove repentance of sin and you have destroyed it.
Make the gospel of Jesus about men instead of God.
Twist just the smallest bit of who Jesus IS, add too Jesus, take away just the smallest thing from Jesus you have destroyed everything.

What do you do when: You have people running from blatantly false teachers into the arms of men who are renown in good solid teaching and therefore should be able to be trusted?

The New Evangelical – Evil fit for a New Dark Age

I have been looking into Vatican II for a long time now wondering just how many of our well known pastors are Pope sympathisers. Then the Emergent Movement exploded onto the scene – and one by one, two by two, 10 by 10, our pastors who could not preach a word wrong are coming out and proclaiming unity with all faiths at all costs.

This is an excellent article explaining the history, characteristics and fruit of the Vatican Second Council New Evangelization initiative. You might get a few surprises as you read. This article is very long, but WELL WORTH the read.

I am convinced that few errors are as destructive to fundamentalist Bible-believing churches as New Evangelicalism. When people leave our churches, where do they go? Do they join the Roman Catholic Church? Do they join a modernistic Protestant church, such as the United Methodist, the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., or the United Church of Canada? Do they join a cult such as the Mormons? That seldom occurs. Most that leave fundamentalist Bible-believing churches join the positive-thinking, easy-going New Evangelical church down the street or across town.

I heard some very horrifying news yesterday that Rebecca Brown is in South Africa right at this very moment at the Cornwall Hill College, Irene, Centurion. She was invited by Yvonne Kruger from Prophetic End Time Ministry / 24-28 March 2010.

Some basic, SHOCKING facts about Rebecca Brown:

Real name: Ruth Bailey.
Lived in small town Indiana.
She WAS a medical doctor who had her license revoked in 1984 due to serious malpractice.
That means she uses the title of Dr. to mislead people only.
The licensing board ruled that on numerous occasions she had “knowingly and intentionally misdiagnosed her patients”, blaming their illnesses on “demons, devils, and evil spirits.” Also prescribing illegal dosages of drugs to her patients.
She befriended a woman by the name of Elaine (Edna Elaine Moses) who claimed to be the bride of Satan.
Elaine was so influential in her satanic bride status, that she alone used to negotiate all weapons sales to heads of state around the world. Yeah right.
Rebecca helped Elaine escape from the cult called ‘The Brotherhood’.
Rebecca Brown and Elaine slept in the same bed since the day the met – to cover up a lesbian relationship Rebecca brown ‘adopted’ middle-aged Elaine so as to take on Rebecca’s surname.

Vatican II and The New Evangelization World Wide Take Over

As a young adult living in Brooklyn New York I was depending on getting to Heaven on false hopes. Although my commitment to my beloved Roman Catholic Church had weakened during my late twenties, the attitude “I was born a Catholic, I’ll die a Catholic” was woven into the fabric of my mind.

As I think back on those days, I recognize that I was a young man in bondage. Certainly, I was in bondage to sin, as is everyone who is not born again. But there was another bondage that also gripped me: the bondage of Roman Catholic tradition, with its sacraments, liturgies, rituals, and sacramentals. Not only were such things unbiblical-they were works of the flesh and devices of demons. In my own life, as well as throughout the history of the Church of Rome, they were soul-gripping superstitions advanced under the guise of spirituality.

I trusted in relics of dead so-called Saints; holy water; making the sign of the cross; votive candles; baptism for salvation (infant or otherwise); a “transubstantiated” piece of bread alleged to be Christ; apparitions of Mary; a scapular; a “miraculous medal”; statues and images of Jesus, Mary, and the saints; endless Rosaries, Novenas, the Stations of the Cross; abstaining from meat on Friday; Lenten abstinences; the Last Rites to get me into Purgatory and indulgences to get me out of Purgatory; Mass cards; graces dispensed from Mary; the confessional, with absolution of my sins by a priest; penance and personal suffering to purify me of my sin; worshiping a piece of bread at the Eucharistic Holy Hour; the Holy Father as the Vicar of Christ on earth, etc. Therein lays a bondage that few evangelicals understand.

Nancy Missler and Henrietta Mears

Nancy Missler began her Christianity under a woman who was known for training the next generation of ecumenical world leaders and established the campus ecumenical movement.

“Nancy Missler attended UCLA where she studied art. She met Chuck on a blind date in 1956 and they married the following year. Through Christian author and speaker Henrietta Mears, Nancy became a Christian, and she devoted herself to her family, raising the Misslers’ four children, Chip, Mark, Lisa and Michelle.. Henrietta Mears’ ecumenical influence was widespread. She was a close friend and coworker of Charles Fuller who promoted her on his radio broadcasts. Fuller, Ockenga, and Orr all taught at the Forest Home Christian Conference Center which she founded to “train the next generation of world leaders.” With Fuller, Ockenga, and Orr, Henrietta Mears established the campus ecumenical movement. For eleven years Mears groomed Bill Bright for leadership and Campus Crusade for Christ was founded in her living room. (Bill Bright was a member of the Council for National Policy Board of Governors in 1982.) According to Christianity Today, Henrietta Mears is the “grandmother of modern evangelicalism.” [Emphasis added]

An interesting and very appropriate article pops up on Albert Mohler’s website recently, regarding people who are totally atheistic but can preach the gospel like they were predestined to be saved.

The article is however uncanny, because I think Albert Mohler is speaking about himself.

Minister Tries to Take Down Discerning the World

I decided to take a 24 hour break from my website on Friday, to cook a scrumptious curry, chill, relax, and watch TV. At around 7PM I start to receive phone calls, and emails are flooding in asking me what’s wrong with my website? It says it has been suspend. I thought, ‘oh great, it can only be 1 of 2 people who did this…’

I go to check and guess what? This person (I can’t mention the Minister’s name) filed a legal complaint against my website for me writing an article about him going to the necessary authorities to get me shut down - he then deletes his article so it looks like I’ve made a false claim. It’s smart, I’ll give him that. But that’s all.

But as usual the complaint was in vain, because I am a child of the One and Only Living God who sent His only Son Jesus Christ, who protects me and looks after me and He makes sure that false teachers are exposed. And sometimes I don’t even have to say much, because these people make matters FAR worse for themselves by attacking my blog. Because in doing so they expose themselves and others to an even greater extent. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?

These people’s attempts to stop me are useless as their god is useless.

Dion Forster and The Drive By Rebuking Video

Dion Forster follower of the Cosmic Christ, Ecumenical Methodist Minister and avid cyclist, had this to say about the Turn2God gathering that took place on the 6th March 2010 at the Union Building in Pretoria:

Graham Power and yourself are the big cheeses of Unashamedly Ethical, along with Angus Buchan, Elza Meyer and Bennie Mostert. Have I left anyone out? If so, I am so sorry. Please do let us know in the comments section below. We have to always give credit where credit is due.

So who didn’t you agree with? And don’t say the white horse’s grand entrance and exit at the end. Even I know that your cosmic christ would not dare pitch up on a horse like that, and if anything we would have been able to see him.

John MacArthur I pray this is NOT true!

This information has been painstakingly put together by Bob Johnson over a period of several years. It’s shocking, and left me with a sense of, “which church out there HAS NOT been taken over by NWO ‘Change Agents’”?

I am going to present this information only because I stand for the truth AT ALL COSTS. I love John MacArthur. His exceptionally sound teaching on the gospel has helped me tremendously. I thought my Chuck Missler article had upset me, due to the amount of people who will suffer turmoil in their lives for worshipping men as as idol instead of Jesus Christ the One who SAVES. And here I sit in the same predicament (crying again). I am running out of tears here people. No really.

Now before anyone gets all carried away, I am not a Calvinist. I am a born again Christian and my ‘denomination’ is what lies between the pages of the Word of God. I believe in free will and I believe that repentance of sin is an ongoing essential part of your relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We are not predestined, or elected by God; if we were then why go around preaching the gospel if those who are chosen will get saved anyhow. I won’t even get onto the topic of John Calvin as that’s another story all on it’s own and staunch Calvinism has it’s roots in Rome.

Are there people who are genuinely saved under GCC – Absolutely. God knows our hearts. He knows what we think, He knows what we believe, He knows everything about us. I believe we are all judged on what we know up to a certain point in time. (I am NOT talking about sin here, or using this as an excuse to say, “oh I never accepted Jesus, because I didn’t know anything, or no one told me.) Because the Bible commands you to study to find yourself approved anyhow, so no one has any excuse. And if you have the Holy Spirit in your life you will NEVER get something so wrong or believe and follow something so wrong, as what John MacArthur has been doing since who nows how long.

I quickly realized that her opinion was that “new age thinking” would condemn one to eternal damnation. We had an indepth discussion on the subject and I was able to help her see what this system of belief is really about. I now realize how much confusion and misunderstanding there is out there about exactly what the term “new age” means. I am by no stretch of the imagination an authority on the subject of new age; however, I have done considerable study of metaphysics over the past 10-12 years and I would like to share some of my personal truths. It was your typical Dominionist fashioned, Apostolic and Prophetic, stake your patch of kingdom earth before it’s too late, unbiblical nonsense.

Elza Meyer had a vision from God one morning to host ‘Turn2God’. They expected 40,000 people to show up and pay +/- R100 for seats. (These things are no longer for free). But instead her god only managed to get 15,000 paying people to show up, or less.

The rest of the day there was this echo from the stage where the speakers constantly reminded us how terrible it was that people actually took their invitation to sit on the grass for free.

There also seemed to be terrible feedback from the speakers; mumbles and grumbles that said ”if no one came….they would have carried on worshipping God all by themselves.” Their constant hinting at the lack of turnout and paying attendees was very sad. Bennie Mostert told the crowd much later during the day, during a ‘Give us Money’ spree that they (the pastors) were very very poor, underpaid and needed money.

Hundreds of years before the Holy Spirit was poured out on the early church on the day of Pentecost, the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel, newly anointed as a priest, got a free preview of how God would send the Holy Spirit to empower His people. The preview came in the form of a Technicolor vision that included a stormy wind, a cloud that glowed with fire, flashes of lightning and strange, four-faced cherubim that were empowered by God’s divine energy.

Andrew Strom sends his sheep into the ‘Unusual’

This is probably the most disturbing ‘dream/vision passed off as being Godly’ I have read in a while. Andrew Strom attached a WARNING to his email saying, “WARNING: This is a highly unusual post!! But hopefully you will find it has some insights into what has been happening in the church and amongst many leaders. If you get nothing from it, discard it!”

And Andrew says he is not into this Apostolic and Prophetic stuff anymore. I think we should just discard Andrew Strom.

[Bubsie] dreamt or had an open vision that she was in her bedroom
when she heard the voice of God call her and ask her to wake up.
… He asked her to go to a church as there was a man there that
needed her help. No directions were given but as she drove in her
car she seemed to know where to go and she arrived at a very
large church building: it was magnificently constructed and was a
dome-shaped hexagonal building that stretched for a great distance:

So Benny ‘$1000, that’s $1000 for salvation, $1000, …going…going…gone. Sold to the man in the back’ Hinn is back in SA. Woe to us.

If words don’t get the message across, maybe a little cartoon will. The below two cartoons are from Sundays English and Afrikaans newspapers – 2010-02-27.

The Afrikaans version of the cartoon below, is different from the English version. Did they censor it so as to not offend their readers? Do they think English people can handle the truth and Afrikaans people can’t? Or what? I’m confused…
