I have listened to Dr. Missler teach for hundreds of hours, and have read countless of his articles. I have found nothing in his teachings which even slightly contradicts the Word of God. (Unless you you want quarrel with the fact that he is an outspoken Trinitarian).

If any thing, he is one of the most solid, bible-based teachers that I have ever heard. He is always the first to quote Acts 17:7, and repeatedly points out the individuals responsibility to search the scriptures to see if these things are so.

After reading through through your responses to the unbelievably long list of comments posted here, I can only conclude that your assault on Dr. Misslers’ integrity is based upon innuendo and lacks any clear accusatory statement of specific details.

To attack him as a false teacher because of alleged connections to a satellite network and a supposed attempt to establish a gold based investment consortium, is hardly relevant to the content of his bible teachings.

BTW, Chuck Missler has never stated that the built in encryption which one can discover in the bible should be used for divination. He is very clear that such encoded information is merely authentication of the fact that the Bible is the Word of God.

Exactly. When I was writing that I thought about just that. Satan has gone out of his way over time to take the rapture and turn it into a hoax. Jesus is not coming back to fetch us he says. He then took this blessed hopeful message and placed it into the hands of a bunch of word of faith hoodlums and they acted like they believed in it just like they acted like they believed in the rest of the gospel but it was all just to turn the people against it.

Now no one believes it anymore, when scripture is very clear on the matter. The rapture has literally become a swearword.

Debs, you are correct – it is a very important doctrinal position. And it seems to be the mantra of those who promote bad doctrine to say it isn’t a salvation issue. We aren’t talking about salvation – it is defending biblical doctrine. Of course biblical doctrine needs to be built upon the true and complete, uncompromised Gospel and genuine salvation, but in a discussion it is mixing apples and oranges.

Personally I believe that the debunking of Pre-trib is a ploy of the enemy to rob us of our Blessed Hope and the joy and hope it brings us.

It’s a doctinal issue. Depending which eschatology you choose makes you one foot roman catholic or both feet Biblical. Rapture = Biblical. No rapture = every religion except Christianity!

BB, you are correct that one’s eschatology is not a salvation issue. However, the view is important in one’s Christian walk. Our view of the endtimes affects every aspect of our lives. I have studied the various viewpoints for many years and always come back to the Pretrib.

One thing I have noticed about many who try to refute the Pre-trib position is that they are quite harsh and bash rather than discuss.
