98% of the comments on this blog are from people who come to attack me because I stand up for the gospel truth. So when you don’t ADDRESS who you are speaking too, and I am sorry that I assumed you were speaking about this blog, then yes I WILL retaliate and STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH again.

Yeah, didn’t think you would post what you did wrong to me, since you were wrong, you slammed a sheep that was just looking for truth, you won’t post that. You’re just here to make yourself look good. Now we both know it.

Uhhh, I was referring to Rob Bell’s website being false, not yours being false.

But nice way to reply to people, who didn’t mean what you assumed they did.

Just a heads up in ministry, the snide remarks and personal attacks aren’t going to get anyone to stay listening to you. They’ll just assume that you’re angry and paranoid. I’m sure you’ll find some way to defend yourself in your own mind about this, but, know that you will reach more people like myself (who wasn’t even attacking you!), by being a little more kind and gentle.

I can see that I have no place here, so no problem.

1) Rob Bell is NOT a Christian so his definition of Metanoia is WRONG.
2) Where on earth do you find the thing on baptism? I read the article twice just now again and me thinks you are smoking something ;)

3) This is a Chrisitian website. If you can’t tell that then there is something wrong with YOU.

This is what I get for speaking without reading more of it first. You know what, his whole website is false. He doesn’t teach the right way to be saved. Please just do me a favor and don’t post any of these three messages that I sent. Thank you!

And actually, now that I read more of his page, if I’m understanding him correctly, he is a lutheran that wrongly believes that his water baptism saved him. We know that water baptism cannot save anyone, and isn’t part of salvation. So while he is in the ballpark on metanoia, yet he has a false gospel in this other area.

It’s ironic that I actually agree with the metanoia web page that you linked to, that you seem to disagree with. They are right regarding the true definition of metanoia. I haven’t read the rest of their webpage, but they are right on the money with that one.

This is a fantastic article. Just prior to getting saved, I began to realize that the badguys/ignorant often try to complicate the simple. Sometimes they use ornate and/or long winded prose in order to do this. Or they will invent or reinvent eloquent words or phrases or concepts that sound pleasing to the ear and strike at the emotions (such as you described). But the conceps are vague, undefined, and abstract; or the concepts are defined as ‘meaning different things to different people’.
