I read this once: 'God is a Sovereign God! We cannot put God in a formula, that says: 'If I ... then God ...'. You cannot do that! You can't manipulate God. You can't put Him in a timebox and tell Him to behave Himself and not get out of the box! You can't do it either way! God is beyond our comprehension.
