Yip, absolutely.

One thing I find absolutely amazing, in fact totally ludicrous is the fact that they claim the Word of God to be infallible BUT at the same time constantly change His Word to mean something completely different to what Jesus Christ the Son of God taught 2000 years ago – in fact what the Word of God spoke since the beginning of time.

The disciples who walked with Jesus Christ, the men who were commissioned by Jesus Christ Himself, the men who GAVE THEIR LIVES to preach the truth. And now we have geniuses’ with degrees, masters and doctorates given worldly titles, lest we forget those who wear Pharisee type garments who spend their lives trying to rip the gospel of Jesus Christ apart, word by word, verse by verse, passage by passage, book by book.

This is what the Bible says about those who think they are so wise.

Romans 1:22-23

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

1 Corinthians 1:20
20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Wow, I am so glad to have run into another person who professes to be Christian, who thinks they have all the answers too. You think you proved me wrong. Nice try. It’s not great for me at all who tries despertately to warn people, and I really do have the tiniest corner; but you have the biggest illuminated corner, in fact it’s not a corner anymore but the entire world. I am not smart, nor is anyone else dumb, however the words you speak that contradict the Word of God does not help you in any way. Your words actually judge you as to who you choose; a False Christ over Jesus Christ.

4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Deuteronomy 5:11

11 You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

Exodus 34:12-15

12 Take care not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you are going, or it will become a snare among you.
13 You shall tear down their altars, break their pillars, and cut down their sacred poles
14 (for you shall worship no other god, because the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God).

If Cobus is correct in saying that God’s Word is fallible and that any claim to infallibility breeds atheists, why do the DRC clergy want to learn from Acts about how to be a missional church? It is preposterous to think that you will be able to proclaim Luke’s missionary dictum while you have doubts about the infallibility of God’s Word, unless of course you want to convert fundamentalist bred atheists to your own status of so-called de-converted Jesus-followers.

Preposterous, indeed. Atheists cannot stand the thought op penal substitution, but they are all for ‘good’ works and being nice. They sit in judgment of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and find their own morality superior to His. The emerging church is happy to oblige their rebellion by removing the offence of the Cross and weeping for the liberation of the poor and the oppressed. They sound just like Maitreya.

It’s great to finally find someone who has got a corner on the truth and is willing to stand up and show how smart he is and how dumb everyone else is. Jesus was all about that.
