Well when you take your marriage vows you are taking a vow before God. Whether is it positive or negative is upto either party in the marriage thereafter. However if both parties were genuinely saved to start off with then things should be great (barring general life not interfering).
So trying to knock off your husband during any time of the marriage for his life insurance policy is what I would consider negative, while bringing your wife flowers and her favourite chocolates every evening is what I would consider positive.
But these are not confessions; I can’t telepathically will my husband to bring me chocolates every night (this is witchcraft). Nor do I have any power, and neither can I get power – power of any kind is occult.  But I can get him to read this post and make him take note of his next mission.
See this Joyce Meyer article as to what Positive Confessions really means: http://discerningtheworld2.wordpress.com/2009/05/11/joyce-meyer-is-a-little-god-with-a-christ-consciousness/
