I have decided to write this article on William Branham for 2 reasons and that is this: William Branham’s influence on the church today is nothing but a vile attack on the True Body of Christ. This article will also serve as a reference to some articles that I will be writing soon on some supposed ‘men of God’ aka ‘Prophets’ in South Africa – who claim that they have William Branham’s Mantle. Any ‘pastor’ who says that William Branham was truly a man of God or says they have anything from William Branham (mantle, angel, follows his teachings, etc) should be avoided like the plague.
Who was William Branham:
William Branham was born in 6th April 1909 in Kentucky and died on 24 December 1965. His ministry was founded in May 1946. But this legacy lives on in his followers and the hundreds of sermons that were recorded or transcribed. Most people read his sermons more than they do they bible. Most people believe William Branham’s words more than the bible. This is obviously concerning, but what is more concerning is what William Branham preached and the strange signs and wonders that accompanied him.
The young William Branham:
William Branham’s mother was 15 years of age, and his father was 18 years of age. When William Branham was born something rather unusual happened on that day – a few rays of light shone into the room and a huge halo, one foot in diameter appeared above William’s mother and baby. Because of this his mother took him to a Baptist church in the local community. That was the first and the last time he went to church in years. –Carl Dyck, William Branham: The Man and His Message (Saskatoon: Western Tract Mission, 1984), page 3.
It should be noted (and keep this in your mind at all times) that Branham’sparents both believed in fortunetelling (so they were not Christian) and this of course means that William Branham was raised in an occult environment. –Kurt Koch, Between Christ and Satan(Grand Rapids: Kregal Publications, 1962), page 150
Branham’s life was influenced by numerous visions and angelic visitations. He recalled that he heard a voice at the age of seven, “Well, I started up the lane again. And I turned to look at this again. And when it did, a human Voice just as audible as mine is, said, `Don’t you never drink, smoke, or defile your body in any way. There’llbeaworkfor you to do when you get older.’ Why, it liked to scared me to death!” –Brother Branham, taped sermon transcript, p. 24
This would not be the last time Branham heard this voice, later this voice would identify itself as an angel and later he ends up receiving extra-biblical revelation concerning future events.
William’s family and Ministry:
William Branham was influenced by a few obscure people/religions before he fully established his ministry in 1948, one of these was the ‘Jesus Only’ Pentecostals. –Brother Branham, p.39
At this time William Branham was married and had a baby daughter. Many family members and other ministers warned him not to associate with the ‘Jesus Only’ cult for this group did not believe in the Trinity amongst other thing. Branham must have broken away from then for later when his Wife and baby daughter died in 1937 from Tubercular Meningitis he attributed their deaths to the fact that it was because he had not continued in fellowship with the Pentecostals and had missed God’s will. –Brother Branham, p.47
Never the less, the ‘Jesus Only’ cult was a great influence on Branham as he adopted many of their heretical doctrines into his own.
Another influential person in Branham’s ‘doctrine to be’ was Franklin Hall who wrote on the ‘Atomic Power with God through Fasting and Prayer’. Hall had a great influence on almost all the healing revival preachers of that time, of which Branham was his best disciple, in so much that Branhams followers believed him to be the apostle of the final Church age.
In 1946 while Branham was baptising followers in the Ohio river he heard a small voice say ‘Look up!” Looking up he saw it descending toward him – it looked like a blazing Star, a Pillar of Fire. The Supernatural Pillar of Fire hovered just above his head and that voice he had been hearing since he was little spoke out of the Pillar of Fire saying, “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the First Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, so you are sent to forerun His Second Coming.” –Brother Branham, p.71
That was that, Branham called this his ‘charge’ – that he was called by God and soon many believed him to be Elijah. In fact when Branham passed away in 1965 due to a head injury from a car accident many of his followers (and still today, believe it or not) truly believe he came in the spirit of Elijah, some believed him to be born of a virgin, some believed him to be God and most expected him to actually rise from the dead in three days. –All Things Are Possible, p.164
Not long after Branham was told by the Pillar of Fire that he was the forerunner for the Second Coming of Christ he was visited by the voice manifested in the form of an angel. This angel told him that he had been given two gifts; the gift of healing and the gift of words of knowledge / restore biblical truth. As time went by Branham also came to believe that this angel was the source of all his visions and extra-biblical revelations as well. But of course Branham was very discerning (as he claims it was also one of his gifts) and he asked the angel why he should believe the angel to be from God and the angel told him that the people in Jesus’ day called Jesus a devil, so he (Branham) should not worry about others in his family or ministry saying the same thing about the message/angel. The angel mentioned that Branham had been told by fortunetellers in impromptu meetings that he had a special gift from God and was born under a sign. The angel assured Branham that demons had confirmed that Jesus was the Christ and he should not be concerned by testimony of fortunetellers. –Brother Branham, pp. 74, 75, 79
Well I suppose that settles it then – the angel must be from God, phewww and all this time I thought otherwise. You see in 1 John it explains very clearly what Branham was supposed to ask the angel, ‘”has Jesus Christ come in the Flesh”. I guarantee this angel would have come up with every excuse in the book to say otherwise. But then, what’s the bible anyway? eh? Just useless info…not to be adhered to.
So Branham decided to test out his new ‘powers’ and found himself confronted with a women who had cancer. Just as a matter of interest the angel told Branham about this woman in a vision. So he prayed for her and she was ‘healed’. He shot to Super Stardom over night and from then on claimed his angel was with him day and night.
Two things here; Who said she had cancer? Was there any medical proof of this and secondly who could prove she was healed? Or did Branham proclaim she was healed and everyone just accepted it? So either this was one big lie or worse we have a demon (posing as an angel of light) telling Branham about a women who has cancer, i.e., this woman’s cancer was demonically inflicted. Talk about being set up, William Branham that is, and again so much for his discernment. So Branham prays for her and she is ‘healed’. What actually happened was the demonic affliction was lifted and who knows what else this woman received in its place.
From then on William Branham’s ministry was built on supernatural manifestations and was empowered by a spirit being / angel. The angel accompanied him throughout his lifetime and even directed him in every aspect of his personal life. It was the angel Branham said gave him his power – not the Holy Spirit. In fact Branham knew that if he didn’t do what the Voice told him to do he would suffer greatly.
But if that has not convinced you even slightly that there was something horribly wrong with Brenham, lets go look at his teachings and see just how much they contradict the Word of God.
He believed he was the Last Days Prophet:
This I find rather funny because since starting my blog I have come across at least 20 others who think they are too. Who’s right? Fortunately, non of them, Branham included. Anyhow let’s stick to the story shall we – so Branham said, “Now, I’m just your brother, by the grace of God. But when the Angel of the Lord moves down, it becomes then a Voice of God to you…But I am God’s Voice to you… Now, see, I can say nothing in myself. But what He shows me.” –Footprints On The Sands Of Time, p. 214
His followers believed him to be the spirit of Elijah based on Malachi 4 and the seventh angel in Revelations 10.
Unfortunately for him and his followers, William Branham has to under no uncertain terms be labelled a False Prophet for a lot of things he prophesied did not come to pass for example: He prophesied that Jesus would return in 1977 along with the destruction of America . Branham said, “Jesus did not say no man could know the year, month or week in which his coming would be completed. I sincerely believe and maintain as a private student of the Word along with divine inspiration that 1977 ought to terminate the world systems and usher in the millennium.” –7 Church Ages, p. 322.
As we can see, Jesus Christ has not come back, America is still standing and it’s the year 2008. So you the reader have 2 choices here; 1) William Branham received this information from a lying demonic source aka his angel who’s father is Satan or, 2) God lied.
The bible says, in Deuteronomy 18 v 20-22
“20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”
Branham preached the ‘Serpent Seed’ teaching:
The Serpent Seed teaching is a belief that Cain was produced through sexual intercourse between Eve and the serpent in the garden. The curse of the Serpent’s Seed he believed is the cause of all mankind’s problems and women are to blame and it is evident in their temptation of men. –William M. Branham, My Life Story, p. 19.
Branham also believe that the Serpent Seed was the missing link between man and monkey.
Hitler also believed in the Serpent Seed teaching and this was the main reason why Jews needed to be eliminated, for the Jewish nation was of Satan. Now if Hitler believed in this and Branham believed in this, and Hitler was of Satan and Branham is of God then….we have a HUGE problem here.
It is also noted that Branham despised women and on one occasion stated, “But I remember when my father’s still up there running, I had to be out there with water and stuff, see young ladies that wasn’t over seventeen, eighteen years, up there with a man my age now, drunk. And they’d have to sober them up and give them black coffee, to get them home to cook their husband’s supper. Oh, something like that, I said, ‘I…This was my remarked [sic] then, THEY’RE NOT WORTH A GOOD CLEAN BULLET TO KILL THEM WITH IT.’ That’s right. And I hated women. That’s right. And I just have to watch every move now, to keep from still thinking the same thing.” –M. Branham, ‘My Life Story’ (Spoken Word Publications, undated), p.27.
So now we can see why he was so adamant to preach this Serpent Seed teaching for he had an immense animosity towards women. This would also explain why he preached a rigid ‘moral code’ for women with regards to dressing, hair etc, etc. Branham also had a ‘revelation’ that allowed for divorce. –All Things Are Possible, p.162.
The bible says in Genesis 4 v 11;
1 “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.” …. not from the Serpent/Satan.
Branham believed the Zodiac and the Egyptian Pyramids are EQUAL to scripture:
So as far as Branham is concerned the Zodiac and Egyptian pyramids are equal to Scripture in the revelation of God’s Word. This might I add is also one of Franklin Halls strange beliefs that was passed onto Branham. –’Adoption’, pp.31,104.
After Branham’s death a tombstone in the shape of a pyramid was placed on his grave.
Now we know that the Zodiac and the Pyramids play a huge part in the occult. So how on earth can the occult be equal to Scripture? Witchcraft, Astrology and New Age all use the pyramids and the zodiac for divination i.e., predicting the future. The pyramids are an essential holiday spot for occultists, witches, magicians, necromancers and many a demon/spirit. The narrow passages through-out the pyramids allowed for occult soul travel were mummified Kings and other notable people were buried with gold, food and other worldly possessions in the belief that their soul would need these things in the after-life. Pyramids also have an occult alignment with the stars i.e., the Zodiac.
Let’s see what the bible says about this: Deuteronomy 18 v 9-12
“9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”
Branhman believed that ALL denominations were the Mark of the Beast:
Except for his ‘demonination’ of course which was pure. Hence if you follow anyone eles teachings and not his you are doomed. Branham believed that some humans are descended from the serpents seed and are destined for hell, which is not eternal, however. The seed of God, i.e., those who receive Branhams teaching, are predestined to become the Bride of Christ. There are still others who possess free will and who may be saved out of the denominational churches, but they must suffer through the Great Tribulation. He considered denominationalism a mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:17). –Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, pp. 95,96.
Branham believed he was commissioned by God to OPEN the SEVEN SEALS in Revelations:
Branham said, “I saw seven angels in the form of a pyramid that swept down, picked me up and was brought east to open the seven seals of God –William Branham, Standing In the Gap – 63-0623.1M.
Revelations 5 v 1-10 says;
“1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
So, is William Branham saying he is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David – Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the One and Only Living God? It must be, because William Branham said it, and if William Branham said that God commissioned him to open the book and loose the seals then who are we to argue, I mean really, the bible must be wrong, completely wrong!
Branham believes he was the ONLY Prophet:
Branham said, “There never was in the age, any two major prophets on the earth at one time. There were many minor prophets, but there were one major prophet. And Elijah was the prophet until Elisha came. Then when Elijah was taking off, a portion, double portion, of Elijah’s Spirit, Elijah’s Spirit came upon Elisha.” –Our Hope is in God, 1951 (tape #51-0929)
Now, God always uses a–a prophet, a man. If you use a bunch of men, you get different ideas (See?); each man, two men. Never did He have two major prophets on the earth at one time. He takes one, so the other one can take its place for another day, another message. He never has two; He has one at a time. –The Evening Messenger, 1963 (tape #63-0116)
“God always deals with one individual. Two men’s got two ideas. There never was two major prophets on the earth prophesying the same time. Look back and see if there was. No, sir. Too much scrupled up. He’s got to get one man completely surrendered and use that person. He searches for that person, but there will be one sometime, somebody who’ll listen to Him word by word.” –The Fourth Seal, Revelation of the Seven Seals, 1963 (tape #63-0321)
Many historical prophets did indeed prophesy at the same time as others. Several minor prophets did as well (e.g., Hosea & Micah; Haggai & Zechariah. Ezra 5:1,2 actually says, “Now Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the prophet, a descendant of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadakset to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were withthem, helping them.” See also, Numbers 11:25-29). In fact, some Minor prophets prophesied at the same time as Major prophets (e.g., Hosea & Micah were contemporary with Isaiah; Habakkuk was contemporary with Jeremiah). But Mr. Branham’s most obvious error was in saying that God never sent two Major prophets at the same time. Of the four Major prophets, Daniel, Jeremiah and Ezekiel were all contemporaries during the years 595-587 BC. –http://people.delphiforums.com/johnk63/1prophet.htm
The difference between Branham and the TRUE prophets of the bible were that the TRUE prophets of the bible were not confused, never presented two different ideas, never got their message ‘scrupled up’ and most importantly their words were God’s words hence they appear in the Word of God. Unlike Branham who preaches a DIFFERENT gospel.
Branham taught that God is NOT omnipresent:
Branham said, “Now, you cannot be omnipresent without being omniscient. God’s not even omnipresent; God’s omniscient. Omniscient which means – makes Him omnipresent (He knows all things). But in order to be a being He has to be in one being.” –The Masterpiece, 1964 (tape #64-0705)
“He’s [God]–He’s infinite, and He’s–He’s omnipresent, omniscient, therefore He knows all things. He can’t be present everywhere. By being omniscient, knowing all things, then He can be present everywhere.” –The Harvest Time, 1964 (tape #64-1212)
So because Branham believes that God is a ‘being’ and not ‘spirit’ he can’t be in more than one place at a time. He does however believe that God knows ‘all things’ hence He is omniscient, so it seems like God is everywhere, but He is not.
The bible says: Jeremiah 23:23-24 “
“Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.”
Branham DENIED the Deity of Jesus Christ:
Branham said; “The man, the body was not Deity, but Deity was in the body.” –Gods Gifts Always Find Their Places, December 22, 1963 (tape #63-1222)
“Jesus was not God, but He was God. He was a Man, yet He was God. He could cry, and yet He could raise the dead. He could cry for a man being dead and raise him back up again. He was Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah Manasses; He was Jehovah, all completely. He was Jehovah, and yet He was a Man.” –Questions and Answers #3, August 30, 1964 (tape #64-0830M)
“He was–He was Jesus when He was born. But when the Holy Ghost came upon Him after His baptism, He was anointed with God. God was in Him, ’cause He come to fulfill the Word.” –The Messiah, January 17, 1961 (tape #61-0117)
“And this little Boy, twelve-year-old Child, no wisdom at all, why, but just a twelve-year-old Boy… The Father didn’t dwell in Him at that time, because He come on the day when He baptized Him; he saw the Spirit of God coming down (See?), and went in Him.” –Paradox, February 6, 1964 (tape #64-0206B
“The Spirit left Jesus in Gethsemane and He became just a man– When God looked down upon the body… (The Spirit left Him in the Garden of Gethsemane; He had to die a man.)” –It Is the Rising of the Sun, April 18, 1965 (tape #65-0418M
Unbelievable! William Branham DENIES Jesus Christ. Anyone who says that William Branham is a man of God is deluded, deceived and follows the teachings on an anti-Christ.
The bible says, John 1 v 1-14 – The Deity of Jesus Christ:
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
William Branham’s unsolved mysteries:
The Seventh Seal:
Branham believed that his interpretation of the 7 seals (Revelation, chapters 5-8) was essential in preparing his followers for Christs soon return. He spent the week of March 18 thru the 23, 1963, “revealing” the meaning of the first 6 seals from Revelation 6. However, on the evening he was to reveal the 7th seal, he did not explain its meaning. It remains a mystery to his followers to this day.
The Seven Thunders (Revelation 10:3,4):
Likewise, Branham spoke of the 7 Thunders, but never revealed what the voices spoke.
The Third Pull:
Although not a biblical mystery, Branham created a new mystery, speaking of a future phase of his ministry which he called the Third Pull. Not only did he fail to say what this phase of his ministry would accomplish, but he never fulfilled it before his death. –http://people.delphiforums.com/johnk63/teachings.htm#unrevealed
William Branham’s terrible inconsistencies about a man who tried to prove him to be false:
William Branham sometimes warned his listeners against testing the authenticity of his gifts. Which is odd because the bible tells us to test the spirits. Never the less Branham indeed had an active imagination and most definitely liked to instill the fear of God into his follows too NOT test him. Branham would frequently tell his congregation about a man who tried to prove him to be false by writing fictitious illnesses on his prayer card, and then would stand in the prayer line expecting Branham to correctly identify his illnesses as mentioned on the prayer card. Every time Branham told this story, the outcome of what happened to his man would change:
- The man received the diseases that he wrote on his card and was still suffering from them (1953).
- The man had died from his diseases (1954).
- The man was bedfast “to this day” (1956).
- The man ran screaming from the auditorium when Mr. Branham publicly exposed his plan (1956).
- The man died a year after the incident (January 1957).
- The man was still in “serious condition” (June 1957)
- The man died 6 months after the incident from cancer (1958).
- The man was carried from the auditorium paralyzed and is still paralyzed (1958–note that in 1956 Mr. Branham said he ran screaming from the building).
- The man died on the platform sixty seconds after Mr. Branham exposed him (1961).
- The man died six weeks after the meeting (1962).

So much for being man of God. This is called manipulation people, manipulation and lies belong in the same basket of rotten apples.
William Branham’s vision and the Cloud:
Once again it would seem that William Branham has a very over active imagination, or he just lied as went along to ‘prove’ himself to be a man of God. I have received a few emails over the last couple of months from people sending me images of this famous cloud as proof that Branham is a prophet. So I went and did some research and found out that this cloud appeared over Flagstaff which was 352 km / 219 miles from where Branham was having his vision on a mountain in Tucson. Now from what I have read it says this cloud was huge and could be seen from very very far away. However…
Branham says he was stading below it: “And now, the “Life” Magazine picked it up. And I have the–the article here this morning in the “Life” Magazine there, of the show… Now, here it is, the same time I was there. See the pyramid or the Cloud? I was standing just below this.” –William Branham, “Standing in the Gap,” TSW (sermon preached 6-23-63), 6:7, pp. 20-21
Hmmmm…. How could he be 219 miles from this cloud but yet at the same time be standing just below it…now that is a miracle!
Also Branham’s account or ‘count’ of how many angels he saw appear changed from 5 to 7 over a period of time. It changed from 5 to 7 angels so he could say these angels represented the ‘The Revelation of the Seven Seals’.
5 angels in vision on the mountain: “And I, still in my … the two consciences together, I knew I was standing here, and I knew I was somewhere else. And I thought, “Now, this is a vision, and I must learn what this means.” And no more than the second group of birds came by, I looked to the west; and it looked like in the form of a pyramid—like two on each side with one in the top, came five of the mightiest angels I ever seen in my life. Such a terrific speed I never seen…. Their heads back and their pointed wings just sailing quickly.” –William Branham, “Reproach for the Word,” The Spoken Word (TSW), Spoken Word Publications (Jeffersonville, IN, sermon preached 12-23-62), 2:16, pp. 4-7
7 angels in the vision on the mountain: “In December 1962 God gave William Branham a vision of an angelic visitation which he foretold in a message “Sirs is this the Time?” On February 28, 1963, the vision and prophecy was fulfilled when a constellation of seven angels, formed as the head of Christ, met him with a commission to speak the opening of the Seven Seals of Revelation. Life Magazine (May 17th 1963) carried the photograph (left figure) of this supernatural event, describing it as a “Mystery Cloud over Arizona.” –http://www.bibleway.org/wmb
I seem to be hmmmm’ing a lot while writing this article. It’s amazing, people will believe all sorts of lies and even when presented with the truth continue to hold fast to these lies for dear life. What for? Do you like to be lied too? Do you like to be deceived? Do you like to be made a fool of by non other than William Branham? But then I suppose that’s what deception does, it blinds one to the truth.
Conclusion: 1) This cloud has absolutely nothing to do with William Branham’s vision, 2) Satan can perform wonderous signs to capture the imagination of people who pretty much believe anything, except the Word of God.
The famous Cloud If you turn the cloud sideways you can see an image of Jesus.

* I am sure if one is on some hallucinatory drug you will be able to see a face of somekind.
William Brenham denies the Trinity:
Like the ‘Jesus-Only’ Pentecostals, Branham denied the Trinity doctrine teaching a form of Modalism. Instead of three Persons in the Godhead, Branham taught that there was only one Person (Jesus) going under different titles or modes at various times in history. Branham’s teaching is a variation of a second century heresy taught by Sabellius know as Modalistic Monarchianism or Patripassianism. –Evangelical Dictionary of Theology, pp. 727-28) and www.watchman.org/prOfile/branpro.htm.
Monarchianism: View found primarily in the third century that denied the Trinity, arguing that because Gods nature is one He cannot exist eternally in three Persons. The two most popular forms of monarchianism were dynamic monarchianism and modalism. –www.watchman.org/cat95.htm#Monarchianismm
The Trinity doctrine cannot be fully comprehended by finite man. However, any other view of the Godhead will not satisfy God’s self revelation in Scripture. Modalism teaches that there is only one Person in the Godhead functioning through relational “modes.” When He is in the Father mode, the Son and Spirit modes are not functional. In Matthew 3:13-17, however, the Son is baptized, the Spirit descends and the Father speaks. Also, “in the name of” (Matthew 28:19) or in the authority of does not limit the nature of God’s unity to one Person but connotes equality of essence within the Godhead (2 Corinthians 13:14). –www.watchman.org/prOfile/branpro.htm
William Branham view on baptism:
Branham claimed that proper baptism was needed to avoid the “Mark of the Beast” of denominational churches and escape the danger of missing the rapture and entering the Tribulation. Proper baptism must be in the name of Jesus only. Baptism with the Trinitarian formula of Matthew 28:18 (“in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”) is unacceptable to God.
If an incorrect formula was spoken during baptism, Branham felt the convert would go into darkness. “But a tritheist, triune baptism was never recognized in the Church, the New Testament… Now you know what to do, that’s right; and if you refuse to walk in Light when Light’s brought forth, you turn to darkness. Right! Amen!” –Conduct, Order, Doctrine Q and A, pp. 178, 181, 182, 184, 190).
Baptism in the name of Jesus only may have been the early practice in the Jerusalem church. However, all manuscripts of Matthew 28:19 have the Trinitarian formula as being commissioned by Jesus. One document, dating from A.D. 60, the Didache, prescribes the Matthew formula (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) for baptism within the church. Regardless of the formula, baptism is not a requirement for being rapturedoravoiding the Tribulation. Full salvation is by grace though faith and not of works such as baptism (Ephesians 2:8-9). –www.watchman.org/prOfile/branpro.htm
Something interesting William Branham once said:
“167 I was talking on the Name of Jesus Christ baptism. That’s right, a revelation of that come. That’s the Truth. But what did a bunch of people do? Gathered it right out here and put a denomination out of it, made another tower of Babel, same thing, throw edit right into it. Certainly. Luther done the same thing. Wesley done the same thing; John Smith done the same thing, Alexander Campbell done the same thing. Pentecost done the same thing. God deals with individuals keeping His Word. God’s only plan to bring believers to Himself in a true oneness is receiving the Holy Ghost. Then here’s how…You say, “Well, Brother Branham, I spoke in tongues. I shouted. I did this.” If you still got that kind of a spirit and deny the Word of God, you haven’t got the Word of God in you; you haven’t got the Spirit. If you’ll set and hear the Truth preached, and look It up in the Bible, and see It’s the Truth, and then refuse to do it, that’s not the Spirit of God. I don’t care how much you spoke in tongues, how much you shouted, how much churches you belonged to, or how many times you was baptized, or anything else. The Word is truth. That’s what vindicates the truth. If you got all these other truths and then with the Word (Amen.), then you know you’re coming home.” –Oneness (62-0211)
So if we reversed this and said, “Well, William Branham, you spoke in tongues, you shouted, you did this and that, and you healed, and you prophesied, and you had visions, and you saw angels, and you had revelations and you spoke words that God supposedly told you to speak. Then surely if you’ve got that kind of a spirit but at the SAME TIME deny the Word of God / deny Jesus Christ, then you William Branham haven’t got the Word of God in you; you haven’t got the Spirit.
William Branham falls into:
- Word of Faith
- Latter Rain
- Manifest Sons of God
- Occult
- Paganism
- Mysticisn
- Oneness Movement

according to the scripture, mal 4 v 5+6, rev 10v7, math 17 v11, zech 14v7, Acts 3v21, joel 2 v25, between the 6th and seventh trumpet a prophet is to appear. who hath ears to hear will hear.
This prophet is not to the jews but to the gentiles.
Math 24 v 31 is the fifth time the spirit of elijah is used. Notice that God places william Branham in Mal 4, to the gentiles, Being the 4th time the spirit of elijah is used. Not even a fool could miss that.
Ahhh so you’re expecting Branham to rise from the dead and be this prophet?
>> Notice that God places william Branham in Mal 4 to the gentiles.
Really?? Then why can’t I see his name in Malichah 4? Did he drum this into his little followers like a broken record and now they are battling to think for themselves?
Lets think a bit, all prophecies in the bible point towards Jesus Christ the Son of God. Then Jesus was born of the Holy spirit and died on the cross that his blood will wash away our sins for those who REPENT only. Jesus then rose and is now seated at the right hand of our Heavnely father.
Jesus then sent us the comforter – being the Holy Spirit for those who are truly save. The Apostles and Disciples went out and preached the message to far places. Probably 98% Geniles…So what you are saying is that Branham is now the prophet for the gentires? Hmmmmmmm so he replaces Jesus and the Word of God, because Jesus IS the Word and the Word was made flesh.
I find it exceptionally disturbing when mere humans come along…oopppsss sorry Branham was an Angel? eh? Anyhow I find it disturbing when people try do their best to get their names mentioned or interpretated into scripture.
That’s like knocking Jesus and the bible out of the way to be replaced by Branham’s scriptures which he then wanted included in the bible. Thank goodness for smart people out there who turned him down.
Shame, I’ll give him some credit though, he really did try hard to deceived the masses and he did succeed rather wll. Thanks to Branham we would not have the likes of Todd ‘the tattood’ Bentley, Kenneth ‘I am God’ Copeland, Benny ‘How Great thou art’ Hinn. and a few hundred other false teachers.
That indeed does take skill. I am impressed lol.
That is God made flesh; Eligah
Seth
>> That is God made flesh; Eligah
Eligah Wood the actor?? No way!! PS it’s not Eligah, it’s Elijah.
Listen Seth, go read your bible. And God made flesh is Jesus Christ!
The very problem with American is that they do not know the Bible. William Branham did some mistakes but he had the best understanding of the Bible.
I am sure that you don’t know about modalism or sabellianism.Nor about the historical background of ontological trinity.
You don’t know that some of our rabbis like Eliezer agree in some point about the Serpent Seed. You have not any knowledge about some medieval traditions. You will repeat that Branham got it from Moon.
You can only repeat what your pretentious theologians can teach you about Nicea and other doctrines. Maybe you ignore that some of your nicean fathers were sabellian. That before Nicea, there were not any ontological trinity?
We cannot accept the the trinitarian God is the G.od of our fathers. It is not possible… You have better to worship Zeus or Odin but don’t pretend that Paul or Peter were trinitarian
Wt? Welll….that says a lot…or not.
Am yet to reach my jugment on William marion Branham. I have been researching on the man for sometimes now, but one thing that is emerging consistently in all his critics is the hollowness of their attacks. They are empty of scriptural basis and basic theology!. I suggest you leave the jugment, prying and analysis on sober, neutral and open minded researchers.
Rufus
I wonder if you comment like this about people who preach a false gospel? Nahh…
I wonder if you think you are the only sober person around? Does that include or exclude being drunk in the spirit?
Btw, make sure you make sober comments because the, “I am yet to make my judgement on….” and the “I suggest you leave the judgment to…open minded researches” is just plain stupid.
There is something that a Oriental can more appreciate than an American. Our manner to study the Scriptures is more transtextual than contextual. I was surprised to see that an American without any theologian background could understand the Scriptures better than a lot of so-called learned pastors.
The very reason of the rejection of Branham is his non-trinitarian doctrines. But let me tell you that all important theologians like Karl Barth, Karl Rahner, Emile Brunner and Alexandre Westphal rejected implicitly(Karl Barth and Karl Rahner) or explicitly the trinitarian doctrine. If you study the history of the Church you will understand the there is not any trace of ontological trinity before Constantinople. Ireneaus is clear when is writing that the “Son is the visible of the Father and the Father is the invisible of the Son”. Tertullian believed in the economical trinity, there are some traces of immanent trinity in him after he accepted Montanus as the Pareklete. Origen and Justin were explicitly tritheist.
You ignore that the orthodox form of the trinitarian doctrine is the result of 10 centuries debates, the last step being the adoption of the famous “Filioque”. As you are American, you will accept the “Filioque”. You may ignore that Calvin explained the trinity in prenicean terms rejecting implicitly the ontological trinity. Jan Huss rejected the traditional doctrine of trinity.
About the Serpent Seed, some rabbis agree with it. There are a lot of suggesting elements about the doctrine in the Bible but as you are full of a so-called knowledge, you cannot pray in order to have a revelation of that.
Branham did some mistakes. But do not forget that Augustin was racist and he was the father of the “christian” terrorism. Calvin lead Geneva as Mollah Omar and killed Servetus. Luther agree with the murder of thousand poor Germans. Try to be honest with yourself: Branham had an authentic christian life. What about you?

See how I managed to summarise all your nonsense above into 3 sentences. You could have saved yourself so much time.
>> As you are American……you cannot pray in order to have a revelation of that
And no I am not American. If you pray more I am sure you will receive more reveltation about this instead of just guessing like you did with everything else you wrote.
Ok, before to criticize William Branham, start with your fathers like Justin and Augustin. The writings of Augustin remind me sometimes the sermons of Ben Laden.
>> your fathers like Justin and Augustin
Guessing again…
Didn’t William Branham says that Eve had sexual intercourse with the serpent?
How can some people be the descendents of Cain today (per Branham’s teaching) when all of the descendents of Cain would have died in the flood?
Didn’t Branham say that there were three primary ways that God revealed truth to man: The Bible, the Zodiac and the Giza Pyramids?
If one goes to google images, one can see pictures of the larege stone pyramid that Branham was buried under.
What say you?
Oops… I meant to say “large” concerning the stone pyramid.
Google the following at Google Images: William Branham pyramid grave
Very interesting.
truely some of you folks need to do your home work,Bro,Branham is not buried under that pyamid, its just a memorial!,,,Along side of it is His and his wifes grave,,Call Voice of God Recordings and ask! or go look for yourself. I cant beleive any of yous are true beleivers and run some one down with out checking the Facts,,Mostly the Baptist denomiation who dont beleive in gifts of the Holy Spirit are the loud mouth persecutors of W.Branham,,,And exactly what signs and wonders follow you people??Mark 16; read whole ch. If you care to,,These signs will follow those who truely beleive,,And finally yous are like beating a dead horse,This guy has been gone for over 40 years!!!
son,o,God
I could not be bothered if he is under the pyramid or not (which he is and proves he follows occult teaching)….The main point is that basically everything he taught is utterly disturbing. I gave enough examples in the article. And yes he is gone, thanks goodness, but his false teachings continues as on as though it has a life force. And this force is of a false spirit spreading false teaching via people who point blankely refuse to listen to the Word of God.
*Ponder* Oh heck no, please don’t all go running around telling the B-Mites that Branham’s life carries on in the Latter Rain.
son,o,God,
People need to do their reasearch?
Puhleeze. You are one to talk…
You need to research the word of God and see that Branham’s teaching on Eve having sexual relations with the serpent was obviously false.
It was perverted of Branham to entertain the tought, much less teach, that Eve had sexual relations with the serpent.
Barf.
My fathers are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Your fathers proved to be the spiritual sons of Cain because they killed a lot of non-trinitarians.
About the stars, the very problems you are ignorant of the rabbinical teachings. God freed Israel from their influence, but no the pagans.
God used stars to lead wise men, “magos” in greek or “mogh” in Persian to Bethlehem but He used Angels with the Word to announce it to shepherds. This is the difference that you are able to understand.
God gives the possibility for the pagans to understand something of his will.
Eleazar
>> God gives the possibility for the pagans to understand something of his will.
You kidding? So God uses the occult so pagans will understand Him. Rigghtttttt….
Read again Matthew 2, I am sure that the wise men were not possessed by the Devil. Maybe you think like Jehovah witnesses that the Devil sent the star?
[Edited by DTW] I see you edited you post and fixed the end of your sentence “Maybe you think like Jehovah witnesses that the Devil sent the star?” I will reply below accordingly.
Eleazar
Not sure what you are trying to say. Pick one:
* So what you’re saying is that Wiliam Branham was one of the wise men hence he could never peach lies?
* That Matthew 24 actually means nothing and Jesus’ warning is null and void because ‘so called’ wise men like Branham could in no way be of the devil?
The Bible tells us that the THREE wise men from the east came to find Jesus Christ the Son of God. They were used by Herod who lied to them that he wanted to worship the child, instead Herod wanted to kill Him.
Then God warned the 3 Wise men by saying:
Matthew 2:2
12 And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way.
They were called WISE because they were godly men, they came to find Jesus based on biblical prophecy.
>> Maybe you think like Jehovah witnesses that the Devil sent the star?
Righttttttt….remember you are the one who believes in William Branham who believes in cult teaching. Come now, pay attention.
—-
Right no more answers from me Eleazar, you speak nothing but nonsense, you in no way quote scripture correctly, not that you have actually quoted verses…and I am not here to sit and hold your hand while I constantly un-twist the scripture you keep twisting. The Holy Spirit speaks to everyone, everyone knows the truth, but you have the choice to listen to the truth of the Word of God or reject it.
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, repent of your sin, be genuinely born again.
If you don’t want too…then that’s your problem.
hi iam a message believer and i recently passed on this website if you could only allow me to comment on something
first of all at any one point in time Br. Branham never implied himself to be a prophet if thereis a messeage please hand it over to me. this is a title many people gave as a result of supernatural vindications of his ministry
from 1947 -1963 his post-world war healing evangelical ministry swept across the world . it is notable hard to refute that fact many were raised from the dead ,blind men recieved their sight and the true gospel as did during pentecost by the apostles peter paul apollos was preached
during his his revival ministry
remember in the book of Joel 2.28 God gave a promise all the years the palmerworm cankerworm cartepillar and locusts had eaten God was to restore
all his mnistry brought made the scriptures john 14.12 hebrews 13.8 to be true to form
as supposedly the spirit of elijah was to come before the the great and dreadful day of the lord and restore the pentecostal faith that was once experienced in the days of peter and the great apostles to turn the hearts of the children to the pentecostal fathers “malachi 4:5-6″
FURTHER VINDICATION
Consider these scriptures: MALACHI 4:5-6: Behold, I
will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great
and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart
of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to
their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
“Only Gods ELECTED few will be able to receive the full
understanding of these mysteries in the Scriptures.
Others who are not, will simply continue to hold to manmade
dogmas, creeds, rituals, and religious traditions
to merit their own salvation. In vain you do worship Me,
teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. Thats
what Jesus told the Pharisees. There seemeth a way
thats right to a man, but the end thereof is the ways of
death. Its always death to trust in the sinking sands of
mans ideas. The elect will only walk in the way of Gods
Bible. The elect of God will hunger and thirst only for the
fresh manna of the Word thats revealed in the age that
they are living in. And this is that Word. Receive it.”
Is This Ministry A
Fulfillment Of Prophecy?
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his
secret unto his servants the prophets. -Amos 3:7
Gods pattern of dealing with His people has always
included the sending of prophets. The prophet Amos informs
us that God does nothing without a prophetic forerunner,
and even a surface study of scriptural history will uncover this
to be exactly as stated. Seldom was there a prophet who spoke
the words of God who was not greeted with skepticism,
rejection and abuse!
the world’s attitude towards God doesnt change neither does the ways of Almighty God change himself
“I am God and i change not” malachi 3
remember even our lord jesus predicted his coming that is elias of malachi 4 not of malachi 3 because of malachi 3 was john the baptist
Matthew 17:10-12 Why then
say the scribes that Elias must first come? But I say unto
you, That Elias is come already and they knew him not
speaking of John the Baptist. Secondly, And Jesus answered
and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all
things. Speaking of a future forerunner to precede Christs
second coming.
Mark 16:17-18 a reality to us which state this,
And these SIGNS shall follow them that believe;
In my Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak
with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if
they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
remember his teachings on
1.serpents seed
2.the rapture
3.true & false vine
though hard to digest
they fuflill
revelation 10:7
one last point is i lay the challenge across on any man who can stand up to his feet and said pointing directly to himself that he William Marrion Branham was the messenger
of malachi 4 rev 10:7

>> I BELIEVE THAT BROTHER BRANHAM WAS A MAN THAT GOD WAS IN
We know, we know…I already said this in the above article, that Branham thought he was the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
Hi all, new to this blog. The Branham adherants must “Awake to righteousness!” Beware you build on another foundation, (1 Cor3). Beware you heed seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, (1 Tim 4v1). Beware you test not the spirits to see if they be of God (1 John 4v6). Beware for in the last days many shall be decieved (Mat 24v5). Beware you follow another Jesus, with another spirit and another gospel (2 Cor 11 v 3-4). Beware the ministers of light! Beware the subtlty of Satan! Beware the wrath of God! Beware!
Did I forget to say BEWARE!
Branham and Bill Hamon need to be exposed, unveiled shown up for the liars of Christ they are.
Branham, like all prophets of Baal, sees women through hatefilled eyes. He was an illiterate misogynist. He did not know the Word well either; I remain astonished at his poor understanding of the Bible and his tendency to “add” words and phrases that were not in the Scripture text.
This is due to the fact that Branham was demonized by that weird “angel” he spoke to when he asked people to shut their eyes so he could “pray” for them.
He certainly is the forefather of other brute and women haters like Todd Bentley and Bob Jones and Paul Cain.
Women in the charismatic church need to take note that Jesus was no misogynist; He actually elevated the position of women in the culture.
I’ve noticed that Branham’s NAR brand of female hatred breeds the whorishness and simony of Cindy Jacobs and other women in the movement.
This alone shows the real spirit behind Branhamism.
And thanks DTW, I haven’t been here for months and I think this is the first time I’ve posted. I really want to help show up WMBranham for the liar he was. I remain astonished at what a boring ignoramus he was.
Arise
Thank you for coming to post! My original blog went missing in action back in Sep 08 but I am now up and running again since the begining of May 09. Got lots of posts from my old blog I still need to re-post, but as you things are changing so fast on the world ‘sphere’ (don’t wanna sound to NAR ’7 mountains’ here lol) that I am battling to keep up hence, re-posting my old posts has kinda been put on hold…gosh…time, time, time…hardly any time left.
Keep standing for the truth!
Dear truebride:
You wrote “…as supposedly the spirit of elijah was to come before the the great and dreadful day of the lord and RESTORE the pentecostal faith that was once experienced in the days of peter…”
Interesting, because the Lord is promising that He will “restore” that which was stolen in Joel 2:25 by the “Great Army” of Delusion earlier in the chapter of Joel.
There is no such thing as a “restoration” of the Prophetic or Apostolic POSITIONS of Peter or Paul or the OT Prophets to the NT church.
The very serious thing is how this demon of “restoration” went after A A Allen in 1965, to preach the Latter Rain Branhamite demonic Mormonism (mormons also believe in this false “restoration” of the church and the Bible itself) in the guise of a prophet name Paul Cunningham to A A Allen.
Within four years of this demon of ‘restoration” telling Cunningham to go after A A Allen, Allen was back on booze, divorced his wife and died.
This is the same lying demon who spoke to Joseph Smith and William Branham and Bill Hamon.
The only thing to be restored is not the gifts of Pentecost. They were never lost. What is to be restored is the lack of faith and abundant life that the AntiChrist Deluded army of Joel 2 will steal from the true saints.
You are blinded and you must pray to God to open your eyes.
A friend once asked me something, he started by saying:
The Bible speaks of 1 true living church of GOD but in this world there are over 146 000 different denominations in this World so if your bible speaks of 1 true church, who is then right because everyone of them have a common belief then stray off and differ at some point, they dont all believe the same word 100%
That was his words to me and because I am a true beleiver I could answer him.
I believe that Br Branham was a prophet of GOD and he never ever referred to himself as GOD or even as a Prophet but because you are consumed with your doctrines and theology you cant see and dont believe that GOD speaks through man, you think because you study the bible Gods speaks through you. I believe you are trying to be sincere in what you are doing but you are sinerely wrong in what you are saying. Your first mistake was as you claim to be a man of God was that you judged and condemned an annointed man. I believe that you should not judge any man who is proclaiming the word of God. When Br Branham preached in his sermons and words came out that said he was a prophet then it was God who was speaking through him. William Branham always said go back to the bible and never allowed anyone to say what he said. Its so strange you seem tp forget that Jesus was called a false Prophet by his own people, it was the minority that accepted him and in every age where a new church had rissen it was the minority.
And in this day it will still be the minority, and I can say this that I might not be in the end time message now but I am a true and firm believer of his word. Yes William Branham was a Man but a Man of God, Yes He made mistakes like all of us did and do.
Lets stand in the Good Faith and guide each other, what has happened to being a believer, you claim to be a son of God but you condemn, like cain did to abel. I may be a sinner but if claims are made like this on blogs like this where is God shining through, God teaches us to be reverent and guide and help each other on the right path. although william branham never ever codemned another man even though he never agreed with that mans theology.
So inspite of what you believe that already makes him a better man than you can ever be. He had love for his fellow brethren.
You are the one that is decieved and deluded and I pray that God will show you the error of your ways.
Just like the pharisees who was educated they did not see the coming of the Christ
you did not see how God used a man to proclaim his true word and reveal all the truth.
Like all the denominations that are in this world they all have a similiar belief then stray from the truth so you tell me which church is the true living church of GOD and I know you will tell me its yours well I dont belong to a church and I never joined a church.
Whatever my fate might be for writing this I accept, if its in GOD’s will for me to go to hell or heaven I will still love him the same because he is my creator and he can do to me as he pleases i will accept my fate. I may not be at a church or going to a fellowship but I will never reject that Man of God called William Branham because he was a true man of God, I will never spea a word against him because everything he said was and is from GOD. It was predestinated to be said just like it was predestinated for you to post this blog and defile a prophet.
The very scripture that you have used in this blog to condemn the prophet, you have actually used that scripture to condemn yourself.
Dear Arise my love you cannot deny the word (bible)vindication of a servent of God “Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall never pass away
my dear brethen stop living in a fantasy world we are at the end. your yet to give me a sripture in the N.T and the Old T. where the apostolic age came to an end
ephesians 11 “God is restoring office of evangelists prophets pastors teachers
remember peter sermon “repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin; and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy ghost for the promise is unto you and you children that are far off even as many as the Lord God shall call”
Brother arise my love you cant deny the fact that the Lord God is still calling christians now to the true unadultarated Gospel Of Jesus Christ and so long as He is Calling the Apostolic age never ceased
about the army of delusion “Great cankerworm caterpillar” of false teaching denying the word taking and making of non effect the word of God by creeds dogmas and traditions and commandments of God
please pray to God that he give you spiritual eyes to see that you are denying the word.
ACCEPT it eternal life; DENY it perish

>> The very scripture that you have used in this blog to condemn the prophet, you have actually used that scripture to condemn yourself.
Whatever dude or dudette…if you want to carry on thinking William Branham is Jesus Christ then go ahead…honestly. This website is actually for Christians who who want to learn the truth and get OUT of deception. If you insist on staying in deception, then that’s you choice.
k people here is what i got from the whole thing as i was researching this man the holy spirit spoke to me and said albert u must be able to distingues between light and darkness, between the powers of the devil and the powers of God. the devil is very powerful people and very smart and very cunning he wants to decieve as many people as he can and doesn’t care how he does it along as he does. You must be able to tell when a person is from God or the devil. satan talks to people and so does God and the only to do this is 1 searching the scripturs and 2 pray for wisdom knowlege and understand for as the scriture says there will rise false prophets and techears that if it were possible they would decieve the very elect mathew 24:24 Im not saying that anyones wrong or right but all im doing is begging you to please pray and ask God to search your heart create within me a clean heart o God and renew within me a right spirit psalms 51: 10. note who is saying this David chosen by God anointed and proven to be a man after Gods own heart but yet what happened to him he was decieved. Decieved by who The devil that old serpent wich has devieced the whole world. If David a man after the Gods own heart and one of the bibles greates champions was decieved the who are you that ye should be ammuned from Satans deciets. Lets look how he was decieved by taking of the forbidden fruit in second samual 12:1 Samuel told david a story of how a rich man stole something from a poor man1 And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. Ps. 51.1–0.1 And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
3 but the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
4 And there came a traveler unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
5 And David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 and he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
7 ¶ And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8 and I gave thee thy master’s house, and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uri’ah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uri’ah the Hittite to be thy wife.
david was so deceieved he didn’t even know that nathan was indeed talking about him in the story
so i ask a question as nathan ask david are you that man. are you that man who is being deceied. “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”(Psalms 139:23-24)
create within me a clean heart o God and renew within me a right spirit psalm 51:10 note david says a right spirit. So this brings me to my point there is a spirit of God and a sPirit of the devil a angel of the devil and a angel of God. You must be able to separate the two. Wake up people these are the last days Satan seeks to destroy and decieve you anyway he can. 1 john 4:1

Bible in Basic English
My loved ones, do not put your faith in every spirit, but put them to the test, to see if they are from God: because a great number of false prophets have gone out into the world.
Exactly..you need to test and weight everything you hear against the Bible.
Dear TrueBride99 and Albert:
You both need to “study to show yourselves approved” in the Word of God so that you can “rightly divide it”…
Having a “clean heart” means that you are cleansed of sin and in good standing with the Lord God as to your own sin nature in the moment.
But having a “clean heart” does NOT guarantee that you will have DISCERNMENT.
Discernment of spirits has nothing to do with sin or the purity of our hearts before God.
Discernment os Spirits has to do with having the Word “written on our hearts” as God said He would do this in Ezekiel when the Messiah came.
We need to know the Eternal Word so well that we KNOW when it is NOT God speaking to us or speaking through a false prophet, as William Branham is.
THAT IS HOW YOU CAN TELL IF SOMEONE IS FROM THE DEVIL OR NOT.
YOU JUDGE WHAT THEY SAY OR WHAT THEY PREACH OR WHAT THEY TEACH OR WHAT THEY PROPHESY BY THE STANDARD OF THE WORD OF GOD.
Because “the Word is NOT of private interpretation.”
We can know exactly what God means in the Bible, because the Bible was written in a manner that interprets itself.
If you are confused about one portion of scripture, all you have to do is see how God used that same phrase, or word, or symbol, or name in one part of Scripture and then see how He uses it in another part of Scripture and VIOLA!
You understand what God meant!
William Branham, on the other hand, did NOT have understanding of the scriptures. Google around. There is this funny part where Btanham simply mangles the Word of God and adds tiny little words into Scripture sentences that change the entire meaning.
This shows that Branham was operating under the influence of demons. You cannot change the word of God as Branham attempted to do without being “drunk” in delusion of demons.
But remember this — we understand the Word and know the Spirit by our SPIRITS, not our hearts. This is the meaning of “The Holy Spirit testifies to thy spirit”.
This use of the word “Spirit” means, in Greek, “our vital principle” or our “rationale seat” — it means OUR MINDS.
This is why the Saints will be sealed in their foreheads by the Lord God.
Our FOREHEADS are where we understand things, it is where our minds are located!
There is a very dangerous tendency in Branhamite, NAR churches, of “minds shut, spirits open”… this is TOTALLY AGAINST THE WORD OF GOD AND THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY.
Our minds are where the spiritual battle is fought! If we shut down our minds, we are opening ourselves up to anything and everything, with NO DISCERNMENT!
Jesus showed us how to do spiritual warfare during the forty days temptation in the desert.
And Satan used Scripture out of context and with a false interpretation of the truth of Scripture to try to tempt Jesus into sin!
(Hey, that’s just how William Branham twists scripture too!)
Anyway, Jesus did not fall for it, of course, because He understood in HIS RATIONAL MIND the TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE.
This is how He fought the spiritual warfare with the Devil in the desert.
IN HIS MIND.
ALL SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS IN OUR MINDS and our weapon is the RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF GOD OR
A PROPER UNDERSTANDING OF SCRIPTURE.
THAT IS WHAT WE FIGHT WITH! THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD!
But if we listen to Branhamites like Todd Bentley or Rick Joyner or C Peter Wagner or Bill Hamon or Bob Jones or Paul Cain or MIke BIckle or Cindy Jacobs or John Crowder or Jim Goll, we are being told to SHUT DOWN OUR MINDS IN A SERVICE!
THAT IS NUTS and it is a way for the enemy to brainwash people!
Watch out my friends… read your Bible, and know it and be pruned by it!
That is how you sharpen your sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, for battle!
Finally Branham did not understand this at all. he failed to “test the spirits’ and discern that demon that gave him information on people he was praying for. This is why so few were ever healed and so many died, according to Branham’s assistant.
In response to the 1977 prediction, Bro. Branham says in the book you quoted him from “I PREDICT (I do not prophesy) that theses visions will come to pass by 1977.” and Jesus said no man knoweth, not, no man can know. so if you half write quotes down to get your point across you only get blind eyed sinners listening to you and not spiritually driven individuals who love god as much as you do, but only love the idols they worship everyday. God bless all Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Stay with God, and don’t accept the words of people who call themselves Christians but really aren’t.
dear arise my love and albert my humble and scriptural to you is that if you believe gods word to be a seed. remember the parable of Jesus to his disciples of the kingdom of God being likened to a sower who went to his field and sowed the good seed by day . but by night he the enemy come and plant his own seeds thereby causing a mixture of good and coruptible seed.
the whole word of God is a seed and doesnt contradict itself .
if one perorm miracles that Jesus did on earth howbeit then he becomes a false prophet:; just as the bible says that false prophets shall decieve many and shall decieve the very elect if it were possible ” IS THAT TO SAY THAT DAYS OF MIRACLES IS PAST?” or ” WE ARE NO LONGER IN THE DAYS WHERE REAL GENUINE MIRACLES ARE PERFOMED?!!!!” how about john 14:12?????? Shall john 14:12 cease to be truth because of matthew 24:24
think about it the word of God is a seed it doesnt contradict itself its accurate
stop and think about it my beloved brethren don’t try to be hypocratical thinking your are believing true prophecy which is “Your private interpretation of the Word of God”
remember that is what satan is doing to believer today thinking wrong and misinterpretting the word
“1 corinthians 12″ bro arise my love the spirit of DISCERNMENT is a gift of the spirit and if satan can discern just as the spirit of CHRIST then his death on the roman tree was made of non effect
Discernment has everything to do cleansing of the soul and spirit because a nature of the soul has to be changed for the spirit and the mind of christ to come to a believer
thats why upto now few people can discern true from false prophets
my dear brethren we dont disern by our eyes or minds but by the the never failing WORD OF GOD or SWORD
jesus told his disciples “If any man doeth his will you will know through his doctrine; i i dont speak my own word by My Fathers word” ; search in them you think got eternal life they testify of me ”
in other words and their works is a testimony of the life of Jesus 2000 years ago
again brethren put on the spiritual cap for the moment and see the things that i have written to you ar true according to Gods Word
Dear TrueBride:
Uh…
You know not the Scriptures nor do you know the power of God, my friend.
Your arguments are extremely convoluted. You do not display an understanding of why we are to be \”apologists\” for the Word of God.
It takes a person who believes in the charismatic gifts of prophecy to see false prophets. Just like it took Elijah to pull down the prophets of Baal.
Please don\’t make the mistake that either I or Discerning the World here do not believe that the miracles of Pentecost are not for today. Of course we do.
If we did not, we could not see why Branham is a false prophet.
Your standards, TrueBride, for discernment are in error.
You need to \”study to show yourself approved\” as did the Bereans in the book of Acts when Paul first preached to them
You do understand you and I are to be Bereans, correct?
You do understand that this is the proper way to put all so called modern day \”prophets\” to the test, correct?
Branham did not know the word.
Branham taught ridiculous things.
Branham did NOT put his \”angel\” to the test of Scripture.
You and I need to take the words and teachings and experiences and \”miracles\” and supernatural displays of William Branham and PUT THEM TO THE TEST OF THE BIBLE.
That is how you tell if someone is a true or false prophet.
As to your idea about the Word being a \”Seed\” of course, but this has nothing to do with testing the spirits by the Word of God.
Your arguments make no sense, truebride. Your logic is jumbled and you make a poor case for Christianity, let alone William Branham. You need to study to show yourself approved.
Study up on the Manifest Sons of God doctrine and get back to us after you understand why it is heresy. Also, do some homework for us on how William Branham got involved with that \”Latter Rain\” heresy and then get back to us.
Other than that, you really need to learn to be more coherent in your stand in the Lord. Unbelievers would simply scratch their heads at your logic and walk away thinking Christians are insane…
Do your homework and get back to us then. Thanks.
Arise…thanks so much for handling this thread for me…much appreciated.
=> discerning the world
my dearest and greatest of brethren to whom this blog is concerned it is bizzare for you who claim to men of God to be blind to the truth(Christ)
very important question 2 you
how is a false prophet identified; by spirit????? NO by the and i insists the Never failing word of God the SWORD of God
it is for this reasons Jesus first coming he said he came so that those who can see to be blind and those who are blind to see……
now for a truth
1.”THE WORD NEVER COME THROUGH THEOLOGIANS”
2.”THE WORD ALWAYS COMES TO PROPHETs ” according to english dictoinary a “divine revealer of the word”
and a foreteller of the promises of God
with regards to the facts U give on a prophet are just to mudsling
our christian faith is not based on theology or our intellectual translation of the word of God but on the true word of God
thats why you are blind those that follow your footsteps are the “blind being led by the blind”
your foundation of biblical conceptions are futile
” God Knows man that his thoughts are futile”
Jesus one time spoke and said “If the blind lead the blind; wont they fall into a ditch”
remove your intellectuall cap and put on just for the moment ,a spiritual one
the bible is of no private interpretation
you’ve clang to your toooo much to your own perception about the bible ” Lean not unto thy understanding”
john “14:12 he that beliveth on me the works that i do shall he do also”
the spirit bears with aour spirit
a true prophet is never vindicated by the spirit but by the WORD (john 1:14)
about manifested sons of God
we are sons and daughters of God according to his Good pleasures of his will
not just about every one is a son and daughter . they are known before hand
the mormons believed on the “latter rain” which is truth according to prophet joel but
how do you know the mormons were false regardless of this truth on latter rain
they also held the doctrine of “PRE- EXISTENCE” Incarnation” of the soul
“MORONI” was their prophet
MORONI was false prophet because he had the truth: but also had false doctrine “PRE-EXISTENCE”
but a true prophet will always have 100% truth not mixing false doctrine and truth at the same time
my Brethren u may be sincere in your heart but remember, it wont do you good to believe the word of God in portions
the word is a seed you cant believe 50% and procalim prophecy redemption you got to take it whole and digest it
you may be a sincere honest brethren trying to be a child of God meditating upon His statutes day an night which i dont doubt even a bit ; but remember without all truth theris no truth at all
not any where in the scripture is there is a doctrine of “PRE-EXISTENCE” but there is “Latter rain/Harvest” (read joel O.T)doctrine
the word is for inspiration and reproof not conceptualization
again i humbly declare this on this blog but think twice o what i’ve written to you “THIN TWICE” before replying back
Truebride99
I think the article is VERY VERY CLEAR and SELF EXPLANITORY; if you want to accept BIZZARE teachings…then I can’t stop you. All I can do is show you…which I have done and everyone else who has read this.
>> how is a false prophet identified; by spirit????? NO by the and i insists the Never failing word of God the SWORD of God
Just thought I would point out 1 John 4 to you:
Test the Spirits
1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
5They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
So in the Bible / Word of God clearly states that we TEST THE SPIRITS to determine false prophets and false teaching….so not sure what bible you’re reading….I think the best is to just go by a new one, incase the one you are reading is the William Branham version – you know the one where it only contains his sermons and nothing else…
Dear TrueBride:
I have no idea what you are talking about.
DTW is a prophet and so am I. There is no such thing as an elite Old Testament Prophet in the modern age. Paul tells EVERYONE to “be ambitious to prophesy”.
The Mormon’s MORONI was not a “prophet”. It was a supernatural entity, a DEMON.
You need to really go off somewhere and do your homework, TrueBride.
You make NO sense and do NOT know the Bible.
God bless, and you have no idea what you are talking about with the doctrine of the Manifest Sons of God, obviously.
Please go off and do your homework, it is embarrassing. Sorry to be so harsh, but you really don’t communicate the Word or the Lord very well at all.
Study up on the Bereans. That should be easy enough for you. Then get back to us.
Arise
>> DTW is a prophet
I am not a prophet. Just a normal little person who loves Jesus Christ and is born again. I do however hold the Apostles and Prophets in the Bible of high esteem for they went through great suffering to write down the Word of God so that we can come to know the Truth (Jesus Christ) 2000+ years later. They wrote the Word of God through the Holy Spirit. Every WORD is God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. And it is complete and final nothing to add or take away.
We do not despise prophecy either and that verse (cant remember where it is now) is mostly taken really out of context and used by the NAR to back up their 5 fold ministry. They say there are apostles and prophets today who prophesy (like Branham). They say, dont despise prophesy. Yes we dont despise the Word of God at all.
>> Paul tells EVERYONE to be ambitious to prophesy.
Do you mean this verse?
2 Corinthians 5: 5-13 (NASB)
5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight
8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Being ambitious is not about prophecy but about being ambitious in pleasing God, this means in all aspects of our life. Because we are born again of His Holy Spirit we will always try our best to please Him – whether we are at home in this body (on earth) or away from our body present with the Lord. For we will ALL be held accountable for our actions and will all stand before the judgment seat of Jesus Christ.
Dear DTW:
Actually I was saying that about you and me being prophetic because the NARbots have a tendency to elevate the office of the Prophet beyond what is called for in the modern church.
I’ll let the different translations of the verse quoted speak for itself:
Therefore, my brothers, desire the ability to prophesy, and do not prevent others from speaking in other languages.
New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995)
So, brothers and sisters, desire to speak what God has revealed, and don’t keep anyone from speaking in other languages.
King James Bible
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
American King James Version
Why, brothers, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
American Standard Version
Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Bible in Basic English
So then, my brothers, let it be your chief desire to be prophets; but let no one be stopped from using tongues.
Douay-Rheims Bible
Wherefore, brethren, be zealous to prophesy; and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Darby Bible Translation
So that, brethren, desire to prophesy, and do not forbid the speaking with tongues.
English Revised Version
Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Webster’s Bible Translation
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak in languages.
Weymouth New Testament
The conclusion, my brethren, is this. Be earnestly ambitious to prophesy, and do not check speaking with tongues;
World English Bible
Therefore, brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking with other languages.
Young’s Literal Translation
so that, brethren, earnestly desire to prophesy, and to speak with tongues do not forbid;
It is actually about being ambitious to prophesy -not so much as pleasing the Lord — because of the fact that you are directly revealing God rather than in an unknown tongue…
Oooook gotcha….I quoted a competely difference verse…
You read the bible as if it were a legal document.
The bible doesn’t explain half the things you read in it and
Muslims like to prove their faith is of God because it is so much more detailed than the bible. They scrutinize the Qur’an
so much that they get caught up in scriptures.
Let’s not treat our faith as such. I could quote scriptures all day but you’d find a way to make me look stupid because that is what your goal is. Not to worship God, but to stir-up
trouble.
Now I don’t memorize scriptures too much because I know the author, who is the word. what does Luke say “In the beginning there was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God” I love that so much I can’t tell you. I find it funny that your so interested in a prophet who you don’t even recognize.
You obviously have read the bible. God bless all of you on this blog
I’m sorry i quoted John not Luke. See now you’ll hold that to my faith as proof your right.
Samuel
The article is self explanitory, like reading an article in a magazine..not that difficult to understand, just like the bible, easy to undertand.
Go read this never the less… http://discerningtheworld2.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/to-emergents-and-all-others-with-the-same-intentions
o => DTW
o => arise
o => albert
i supposedly believe i was clear on my statement earlier
read and compare ; i have not added anything on the comment i previously mentioned on MORONI “supernatural entity”"DEMON POSSESSED” as you said
i said MORONI was a false prophet now watch what i wrote earlier on the thread i changed nothing on what i said ” FALSE PROPHET”
i will speak on biblical terms ” Jesus in Matthew 7 said King james version (KJV) beware of “false prophets” other
versions standard bible “beware of false teachers”
in other words stay on the look out for they shall assuredly come and Jesus continued and said ” who come in sheeps clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves”
in matt still he says “NT Gospels: Matthew 24:24 For there will arise false christs”
now let us make our starting point on this sayings of Jesus
you and i my beloved brethren wont deny that jesus was prophet-messiah and he was the Christ; Moses prophesied of him ” Deuteronomy 18:15 (King James Version)
“15:The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;”
Moses was speaking to Isreal at that time that one time in the land of Isreal a Prophet shall come (capital P) Jesus was this Prophet and Messiah
but contrary to his prophetic office ” he plainly said “beware of false prophets” and ” there shall arise among you false christs
if we stop and breathe just pause for a moment and reflect on this truth , we will get the essence of meanings of the words of Jesus
1. there are true prophets and false prophets
2. there are true geniune christs and false christs
in the above point
“Christ is the English term for the Greek ??????? (Khristós) meaning “the anointed”,[1] which as a translation of the Hebrew ???????? (Maía?,), carries much of its original Jewish meaning of “Messiah””one [who is] anointed” or appointed by God with a unique and special purpose (mission) on Earth.[2]” (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Jesus was the christ but picture matthew 24:24 Him being the Christ new there shall arise false christs at the end
annointed ones who are false in their doctrines
my dear brethren specifically o=>DTW who claims to be a prophet what inspiration do you have on this scripture that i give to you “Rev 19:10″ please feel free and reply to me brethren with inspirations not your emotions
Q1.What is the testimony of Jesus?
A1………………………….
i dont deny that christ is come and is in the flesh
o=>DTW “paul tells everyone to be ambitious and prophecy” interesting o=>DTW because the same Pauls says that he is skilled and wise masterbuilder
1 Corinthians 3:10, Paul says,
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11.For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
now brethren what we find out is that we dont ourselves start from the foundation we build there upon from thence a foundation is set already & we build there upon
that foundation is Jesus Christ;
paul says “But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon”
Q2.How will God judge the world my dear prophet DTW?
A2………………………………………….
John 5:22 (King James Version)
5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son
Q3. Who is His Son or The Son
A3…………………………….
DTW right Jesus Christ is the Son of God “john 1:14″ the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us (Jesus Christ)
Now you remember my statement How do you test spirits true the scripture you said “1 John 4″
remember jesus said there shall arise false prophets and christs annointed by the Holy Spirit and they shall shew great signs and wonders and to decieve the elect if it were possible “FALSE”
see my brethren not every one can speak in tounges though believers in the faith
the same paul that you uphold in saying “Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tounges” is saying covet the whole of “1 corinthians 12″
this is true also
there are 9 spiritul gifts disributed to the body of christ
each member has his own special gift therefore to add more light to this statement of truth this scripture is true according to paul “1 Corinthians 14:23 (King James Version)
23.If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?”
24.But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all
my brethren i 100% an totally believe in spiritual and biblical prophesy
DTW a prophet is one who completely has the word of God you and arise deny and say there are no more prophets like the ones in the O.T Paul tells EVERYONE to “be ambitious to prophesy”
you can positively identify with this statement you earlier made arise
“DTW is a prophet and so am I. There is no such thing as an elite old testament in the modern age. Paul tells EVERYONE to “be ambitious to prophesy”
interesting pauls say to us to be ambitious and prophesy then
Q. was he not also speaking expressedely to that generation or unto the churches during his time and to us both????
Great question one should ponder about
paul was the messenger of the new testament ;right then he was not of the old testament because Jesus was born came died and ascended to glory then Paul appeared on the scene
Agabus was a “prophet from Jerusalem” (Acts 11:27-28) in the early New Testament era not Old testament. He is mentioned twice in the Scriptures in book of acts on account of this prophecies
1.Agabus A Christian prophet who went from Jerusalem to Antioch at the time that Paul was in the town. He predicted that a famine would take place
2. Agabus met Paul at Caesarea and prophesied that troubles awaited Paul upon his return to Jerusalem, and it happened just as Agabus said that it would
=>DTW you are supposedly a prophet your fellow sincere brethren in your faith ,Arise, so calls you and does’t call himself that Uh-Hhmm!!!!!!!!!!????????????? how does arise discern given he is not having the prophetic title.
br.arise is a fundamentalist to say the least about him
from which faith do you say there are no more prophets
the bible is of no private interpretation arise and lean not unto thy understanding br. arise
=> DTW Your yet to give me a scriptural timeline where prophets ceased to exist in history anywhere:
don’t quote christian books from proffesors but the scripture
Do your Homework
Dear sincere brethren in your faith remember even devils testified Jesus Christ to be the Son of God an to know God Acts 19:15 (King James Version)
15.And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
matt 8:29
29.And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
again my brethren feel most welcomed to reply revently upon the facts that we’ve seen today
what do you say abou them then you can deeply see
dont have pre-concieved ideas about the Word of God but do this just meditate and study
I never implied that William Branham is Jesus Christ
It just shows how blinded you are
True Believer
No you didn’t, but being a william branham supporter you would know that he is the ‘lamb’ in revelations and the sun in Malachi – so braham thought he was Jesus. So….ja…
These conversations are soooo terribly pointless because the evidence of false teaching I have shown, if you don’t want to listen….then…nothing more I can do.
Dear truebride99:
I do not mean to sound condescending, but is English your first language?
If it is, there is something amiss in the way you communicate.
If it is not your first language, you still need to learn the Bible and understand it more clearly.
I do operate prophetically in and out of the church, though I consider this a normal manner for all born again believers. This is because I believe what Amos wrote
“I always reveal my secret purposes in advance to my prophets the saints…”
Prophesy is not a big deal. It has only been made to be a big deal by the false teachings of William Branham and others of the Latter Rain heresy because they want to be bigger and better “Prophets” than the lowly every day Christian — and lord it over them.
This creates an elite “class’ of super Prophets and super Apostles who do not serve the sheep.
Read my article on Harvest Rock and Che Ahn here to see what the Lord means…
http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/2008/07/01/the-spirit-of-division-at-harvest-rock-che-ahns-church/
dear arise =>
you got it wrong
“not my prophets the saints”
but ” my servants the prophets”
don’t screw up sacred scriptures
Dear truebride99
Let’s get this straight once and for all. You have twisted the ENTIRE Bible to suit your Branham occult teaching.
I am allowing this comment through, but this is a 1 of 2 warning . Either respond with a decent comment that is worth while answering or don’t comment at all.
dear DTW
my sincere apologies on the statement i made earlier
it was indecent of me but i will comment on another interesting idea that you brought forth earlier on this blog
i” ll take a portion of comments you made earlier above concerning william branham on the third pull
“The Third Pull:
Although not a biblical mystery, Branham created a new mystery, speaking of a future phase of his ministry which he called the Third Pull. Not only did he fail to say what this phase of his ministry would accomplish, but he never fulfilled it before his death. http://people.delphiforums.com/johnk63/teachings.htm#unrevealed”
if you could be reverent enough on these sermons read the following sermons on tape & even on books with an open mind about preaching of the third pull and tent vision
1. QUOTE: THE SEED IS NOT HEIR WITH THE SHUCK, 1965 PAGE 24, “God promised rabbits in the days of Luther. He promised other things in the days of others. But now He has promised us a full square meal, THE FULL SEVEN COURSE MENUE, FOR ALL THE SEVEN SEALS ARE OPENED, AND EVERTHING IS READY FOR THE WORD OF GOD, FOR THOSE WHO CAN RECEIVE.” (End quote)
2. QUOTE: ANNOINTED ONES AT THE END TIME, JEFF. IN. 65-0725M, “Theres no more higher order to reveal the Word than Prophets. But the only way the Prophet can be a-vindicated is by the Word. AND REMEMBER THE THIRD PULL WAS THE OPENING OF THEM SEVEN SEALS, TO REVEAL THE HIDDEN TRUTH THATS BEEN HIDDEN IN THE WORD.” (End quote)
3. QUOTE: SOULS IN PRISON NOW, JEFF. IN. 63-1110M, “THE SEVENTH SEAL BRINGS HIM BACK TO EARTH. The Lamb come and took the Book out of the Right Hand of Him, and set down and claimed what He owned, what He had redeemed. That right? ITS ALWAYS BEEN THAT THIRD PULL. (The Seventh Seal has always been that Third Pull. The Seventh Seal and the Third Pull is the same thing.) Three is perfection. THE MINISTRY COME TO ITS PERFECTION WHEN IT REPRODUCED CHRIST AGAIN, IN NATURAL, AMONGST HUMAN BEINGS, AS WAS PREDICTED, AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF LOT.” (End quote)
=>DTw
William Branhams terrible inconsistencies about a man who tried to prove him to be false:
William Branham sometimes warned his listeners against testing the authenticity of his gifts. Which is odd because the bible tells us to test the spirits. Never the less Branham indeed had an active imagination and most definitely liked to instill the fear of God into his follows too NOT test him. Branham would frequently tell his congregation about a man who tried to prove him to be false by writing fictitious illnesses on his prayer card, and then would stand in the prayer line expecting Branham to correctly identify his illnesses as mentioned on the prayer card. Every time Branham told this story, the outcome of what happened to his man would change:
The man received the diseases that he wrote on his card and was still suffering from them (1953).
The man had died from his diseases (1954).
The man was bedfast to this day (1956).
The man ran screaming from the auditorium when Mr. Branham publicly exposed his plan (1956).
The man died a year after the incident (January 1957).
The man was still in serious condition (June 1957)
The man died 6 months after the incident from cancer (1958).
The man was carried from the auditorium paralyzed and is still paralyzed (1958note that in 1956 Mr. Branham said he ran screaming from the building).
The man died on the platform sixty seconds after Mr. Branham exposed him (1961).
The man died six weeks after the meeting (1962).
http://people.delphiforums.com/johnk63/teachings.htm#unrevealed
So much for being man of God. This is called manipulation people, manipulation and lies belong in the same basket of rotten apples.
what about the other works that he did that was the works and the power of God
all the bad things that happened to the above mentioned people is because they never had enough faith for their healing and believed not
Truebride
>> what about the other works that he did that was the works and the power of God
Did you check the dates? If this is what you call the power of God then your god is a liar.
>> all the bad things that happened to the above mentioned people is because they never had enough faith for their healing and believed not
Just remember one day, when you pass away from old age, that you did not have enough faith to keep yourself alive. Also Branham did not have enough faith because he had a car accident. He should have been able to forsee this (being an angel) and then heal himself.
truebride
>> Although not a biblical mystery, Branham created a new mystery, speaking of a future phase of his ministry which he called the Third Pull. Not only did he fail to say what this phase of his ministry would accomplish, but he never fulfilled it before his death.
It’s because he had a lack of faith.

brethren like u and arise and albert you both need to show your approval because you claim to be bible scholars who are intellectual and are fine well cultured men no doubt You even said my english was condescending, but despite that fine men of God you are “REPROBATE” in the faith of CHRIST
you might be bible proffessors but realize it doesnt take phsychological, intellectual interpretations to see the whole picture of God in the Bible
you cannot have faith unless you have somewhere to base your faith upon

Please go and sit by Branham’s pyramid grave and complain to him that he preached a load of rubbish and now no one believes you. Ask him why he didn’t have enough faith and died. Ask him why he died if he was an angel. Ask him what happened to his angel what walked around with him. Please go find out these things and then come back here. Please also ask Branhma while you are there how he can believe in Serpent Seed teaching.
I am presuming I will never you see again, because I don’t think Branham is going to answer you. Unlesssssssssssssss, do you have enough faith to make him talk?. Never the less, from now on your comments will be deleted.

When i see men who read a whole text or book and all they could do is to cut and paste portions that will suite thier ego I weep. You condemn Branham as a false profet? Wao, no wonder Jesus said if he was called a demon what then shall his fellowers not suffer? I know there are those who believe in morden christianity and hate that tough preaching from men like branham who will not bow to romanism and denomination churches, daughter of whore.this I say without appology. We do not preach to please men but to honor God,s infalible word not vaticans.
I see this is an old thread, but I just want to say – there have been a lot of imposters and make believers in the land for many years but William Branham was a genuine man of God. Believe what you want to believe – but I KNOW he was genuine
Ms Annie
You are right, you can believe what ever you want. In a court of law however a Judge would say there is ample PROOF, and that ‘feelings’ are not proof.
DTW, I searched for a website which these protectors of Branham’s teachings, would actually understand : http://www.letusreason.org/Latrain4.htm Explains in clear words, with Scripture basis.
Very good website for everything Christian.
Once a Branamite though it’s pretty hard to see past the pyramids, angels, fake healings and stuff. I seems to block their view completely and blind them to the truth.
Ms Annie,
I agree with you 100% that WB was a ‘man of god’, I beleive that he saw visions and also that he honestly beleived he was who he said he was.
The question is which god?
The other question is which spirit was guiding him? He was not preaching clear, biblical truth. It cannot be the Holy Spirit because he guides true beleivers into all truth.
I mean really – how can you be led of the (Holy) Spirit (you know the one who inspired/wrote the bible) and deny the Trinity?
True bride (hillarious name…no really, it sounds like self-election). Please could you please use Capital letters to start you sentence and use those dot things (looks like this = .) to end your sentences. It makes your debate seem to have no start, pauses, or clear, conclusive end. Oh wait – it is consistent with your content.
In the spirit of checking facts, there is an authoritative biography coming out soon that will explain and put in context much of what has been discussed in this thread. Your blog is very good at refuting the bizarre things that are done in Christiandom today. It’s also true that some of these false brethren look to Branham for a precedent. However, I believe he is innocent of their sins, or even the sins of the “Branhamites” who take his words instead of scripture. In fact, after reading the biography, I see that he was sincere and without pretense and God was, in fact, using him. (Well, that’s my take, you’ll have to read the book…) He believed in the Bible and the Bible alone and his strange doctrines were challenging orthodox Christianity which was and is somewhat stagnant in understanding. The biography is called “Supernatural- The Life of William Branham” by Owen Jorgensen and is promoted on the website supernaturalchristianbooks.com
I am not “oneness”. So from my perspective, regarding him being a modalist, I have looked at his teaching closely and I dont’ believe he was so.
Alexander
Well his grave stone looks pretty false to me. And the words he wrote were completely false and anti-Christ. No one can be made guilty of someone else’s sin. He is however guilty of his own sin, like everyone is of their own. No one put the pen in his hand and made him write the stuff he did. If others are silly enough to use his false teaching then that is now their problem and their sin.
…. I accidentally deleted my last sentence. Sorry. The reason I don’t believe he was a modalist was that he said when God said “Let Us make man in our image” he said that was the Father talking to the Son. Where he deviated from orthodoxy was saying that the Son “Came out from” the Father in the beginning and thus had a beginning therefore was not eternal. He was the “only begotten” of the Father before he came to flesh. That is far different than oneness or trinity, isn’t it? Thanks
I see so many commenting on the subject and to my opinion all those who believe in brother Branham to be A Messenger sent from God Need not defend him since the Word has already judged the world and nothing can be done now, since every seed has brought forth of its kind hope you understand
The internet is full of critics of William Branham associating him with all kinds of false teachings and ISMS. some say he belonged to Word of Faith, Latter Rain, Manifest Sons of God, Occult, Paganism, Mysticisn, Oneness Movement etc. What most people do not know is that all false teachers use the bible and their teachings would therefore definately have bible terms. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE CANNOT HAVE THE TRUE BIBLE TEACHINGS BASED ON THESE BIBLE TERMS. Bro Branham never at one time claimed or agreed fully with any denominational system. They had all turned the truth into fables. The oneness for instance hold to the belief that Jesus the man is God – flesh, body and spirit. Bro Branham disagreed with them and taught that “God is not one like your finger is one” but that God who is actually the Spirit or Holy spirit if you wish John 4:24 is one – being God. God expressed himself as the Logos (His attribute) and later took on the flesh of man John 1:1-3, and verse 14(Jesus the man who came with the father’s name JOHN 5:43 “I am come in my Father’s name..” and in whom all the fullnes of the Godhead dwelt Colosians 1:19) Oneness (Jesus Only) do not believe this!
William branham did not say that the serpents seed are descendants of Cain. It is evil people putting the words in his mouth. The bible talks of “brood of vipers” “you are of your father the devil” “cain was of that evil one” “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” As Christians we know that when God saves man he becomes a new creature but the old nature still bothers him. We also Know that the new creature is the spirit made after the image of God that Adam was initially made of. man lost this ROMANS 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” when you receive the HS the bible says you don’t sin. sin is unbelief!
That glory – the logos or pillar of fire which is the spiritual form that the Holy Spirit appears visible to us and which Paul also met on his way to Damuscus, which is the Lord Jesus Christ (Not Jesus the flesh who took the name of Holy spirit, our father) was seen above the heads of the saints in form of cloven tongues of fire on the day of pentecost and indwells all who receive the Holy spirit. It is only (Sons of God) born of the spirit who are made of this nature; the rest simply have the fleshy adamic nature mixed with the serpent’s blood through intermarriage with the daughters of man (cain’s daughters) in Genesis 6:1 – 4 which displeased God. Those are the serpent’s seed. This thought is eveident through out the bible as a reality of our fleshly nature which all are exorted by scripture to destroy by the power of our risen Lord. Romans 8:8-14; Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Finally why is the final man of sin in Revelations often referred to as “the beast”? William Branham never taught what is not in the bible. It is those who read what he taught that do not want to get him right.
Many other things that WMB is accused of just because people do not take time to study. If i had time and space i would show all their foolishness. Someone said in this forum that “In the spirit of checking facts, there is an authoritative biography coming out soon that will explain and put in context much of what has been discussed in this thread.” Why would someone still wish to give another “authoritative biography” when there are already thousands of sites, books, blogs and articles on this one man. I am sure that such biography if at all it exists will not be authoritative but malicious because William branham is not here with us to respond to the many lies that are being peddled against him. How can we rely on his critics to give us an authoritative biography when even those who closely follow him do not know all about him. Stay away from it, it is the devil!

really lets test what you are saying is true:
Favoring the supernatural by ignoring the heresy- Endorsing William Branham
I find it amazing that people can easily overlook or intentionally ignore obvious false teachings just so they can admire the supernaturalism of a man. I’m speaking about the flagrant admiration of William Branham by the mystically inclined false prophets of our day. Blinded by the pursuit of supernatural power they desire the same abilities as Branham, they consider him anointed beyond anyone of his time, so he is admired.
William Branham was THE main figure of the healing revivals of the late 40′s and 50′s that extended into the early 60’s until he was killed in a car accident. Nearly all charismatics give a thumbs up William Branham. Considering him a forerunner of many of the “healing evangelists” of today in that he would call out words of knowledge and prophesy.
They believe the message because they are convinced of the presence of the supernatural in his life. Branham’s followers see his “gifts” of prophecy and healing as vindication that his Message is true. Some excuse Branham as a teacher stating he was not called or equipped for that role, he was a prophet and a miracle worker. the bible has a lot to say about false doctrine and one may not be called to be a teacher but they must have right doctrine for God to work miracles through them or there is no true anointing.
Its not just purity of life when one has so many errors (i.e on core doctrine). Though Branham claimed “Don’t you never drink, smoke, or defile your body in any way. There’ll be a work for you to do when you get older” (William Branham, My Life Story p. 24). We find out that this audible voice Branham heard came from a tree where he first saw a whirlwind. He avoided going by the tree from then on. But this same voice accompanied him the rest of his life only he later understood it was an angel, the angel of the Lord.
The teachings of Branham speak for themselves. For those trained in the bible as the word of truth and are unwilling to go beyond its sacred pages Branham brought another spirit into the church. Besides warning of an angel coming with another message (gospel that changes the person, the spirit and the message of Christ). From his experiences of pillars of light, he waited for the angel to be near him in his services before he could do any miracles. He vehemently denied the Trinity. Branham believed in three Bibles; the Scripture, the Zodiac and the pyramids were other revelations of God. Branham mixed other teachings that were occultic in nature with the Bible and came to his own unique interpretations. “The first Bible was in the sky, called the zodiac. … in the zodiac is the virgin. The last thing in the zodiac is Leo the Lion: the first coming of Christ through the virgin; the second coming, Leo the Lion, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah” (The Spoken Word; p.10-12 ; William Marrion Branham; Blasphemous Names, November 4, 1962, Branham Tabernacle, Jefferson, Indiana Vol. 3 No. 21)
Branham eventually believed he was “the seventh angel from God, and that he was Elijah the prophet. It was not his followers that told them this, he told them. Denying that Eve ate the fruit from the tree God forbid them to, He arrived at the insidious serpent seed doctrine. Instead he spiritualized the event- Eve had sex with the devil which produced Cain. He Denied hell was eternal. And a host of other alterations that affected Scripture.
He taught that denominations were abominations, belonging to any denomination meant you had taken “the mark of the beast” which certainly is overlooked by his admirers today, though embraced by the New Apostolics that believe we are in the post denomination era and use it to promote their movement.
But it is the Latter Rain doctrine that he espoused that so many in the church took to. If one wants to find a source for the Pentecostal waywardness of you can certainly point to Branham for many of the problems in the church today.
It was the book, “A Man Sent From God” by Gordon Lindsay (founder of Christ for the Nations) that introduced many who were unfamiliar with Branham. He introduced Oral Roberts to Branham in April 1948 and Roberts then endorsed him. He commented Later “I think he learned some things” “There is a striking similarity between the manner in which God’s healing gifts work through Brother Branham and Brother Roberts. The power of healing works through Brother Roberts right hand while it works through Brother Branham’s left hand” (Oral Roberts an American Life by David Harrell jr. p.150)
Demos Shakarian Full Gospel Business Men wholeheartedly promoted him until he later learned the extent of his teachings. Ern Baxter, Marilyn Hickey, Earl Paulk, Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Rodney Howard Brown, Morris Cerullo, and A. A. Allen, Robert Liardon, Benny Hinn, Paul Cain, Todd Bentley the list of promoters and admirers is ongoing. In fact you cannot be accepted as a prophet in most circles without giving kudos to Branham.
William Branham’s invited Baxter to join him and travel with him. “Branham asked to see me personally. He said that he had been in prayer and the angel of the Lord had spoken to him and told him that I was to be his companion in ministry. He invited me to join him.” He joined Branham in Ashland, Oregon 1947 and left about 1953-54.
The Latter Rain promoter Earl Paulk sums it up “What God is doing today is raising up prophets. I don’t have any doubt in my mind that Oral Roberts is a prophet to the Church to bring us back to the healings. Many of them – Branham and many others – I believe that the Hagins and the Copelands, we have varying doctrines here, but I believe they brought us back to understanding the power in God’s Word.” (Earl Paulk, guest appearance on “Praise The Lord,” Trinity Broadcasting Network, March 4, 1986.)
Laughter revivalist Rodney- Howard- Browne said of William Branham: “A true prophet of God.” He considers William Branham to be a “great man of God” (“The Coming Revival”, written by Howard-Browne, p. 13)
Che Ahn whose been involved in the Latter Rain revivalism that came to the church as the “Toronto Blessing” told Todd Todd Bentley ‘There’s a Branham anointing on you, a double portion of it.’
Yet, it ended up to be double the sin as the outcome of bringing his supernatural circus to Florida. Bentley coveting an association with Branham led him down the road of deception and gave him acceptance to his “Latter rain” peers.
Bentley explains: “an angel appeared to me, the angel said, “I am the angel that has been assigned to your life. I am a healing angel . . . You are going to take miracles, signs and wonders around the world.” “I was with William Branham” (the Voice of Healing movement), the angel said. He told me about William Branham’s angelic encounter in 1946. (DISCERNING THE CALL OF GOD by Revivalist Todd Bentley – [as edited by Kathy Thorne] Part 2 of 2)
Bentley colorfully decorated himself with tattoos like generals with medals and was widely accepted to “near Jesus status” by leading the church to a new level like those (neo) Pentecostals before him, one which was constantly mentioned- Branham.
Some believed that Paul Cain has the same anointing as William Branham. John Wimber certainly was impressed. Paul Cain once called Branham, “The greatest prophet who ever lived.” After all he traveled with Branham and was one of his disciples. Paul Cain is connected to Bob Jones who personally influenced Bentley (and others) to a great degree by his visits heaven. But it was Paul Cain who told Bentley that he was the new breed that they have all been waiting for.
Another friend of Bentley, Bill Johnson of Bethel Chuch says [while defending Todd Bentley]: “William Branham. If I mention the name, William Branham, in certain circles, I mean, they almost want to, you know, stone me, because William Branham is known for the heresy towards the end of his life. And yet there are few men that have ever lived, and perhaps no one that has ever lived that carried the anointing and the power that this particular man had.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbTCDk2CGNo,
Carried the anointing? Lest we forget, Satan was the anointed Cherub as well, do they consider this? It is often said Branham’s heresy was at the end of his ministry, not so, it only became obvious at the end. It was there before he even claimed to know the Lord and be employed in his service.
We are told that a light, as halo shined on Branham at birth. Branham’s parents were not Christian and it has been found they believed in fortunetelling, this of course meant that William Branham was raised in an environment that was exposed to the occult, which can often influence the next generation.
“When Branham met fortunetellers, they even told him that he was influenced by supernatural powers:
…one day my cousins and I was going down through a carnival ground, and we was just boys, walking along. So there was a little old fortuneteller sitting out there in one of those tents. … She said, “Say, you, come here a minute!” And the three of us boys turned around. And she said, “You with the striped sweater” (that was me). …
And I walked up, I said, “Yes, ma’am, what could I do for you?”
And she said, “Say, did you know there’s a Light that follows you? You were born under a certain sign.”
I said, “What do you mean?” She said, “Well, you were born under a certain sign. There’s a Light that follows you. You were born for a Divine call.” (William Branham: The Man and His Message, pp. 22-23.– quoted from FOOTPRINTS ON THE SANDS OF TIME My life story” p.77)
“Not long after the commission as the forerunner of the second coming of Christ, Branham was visited by an angel. He was told that he was being given two ministry gifts. He would receive the gift of healing and the gift of the “word of knowledge.” Branham came to believe that this angel was the source of all his visions. Branham inquired of the angel why he should believe he was an angel of God. The angel told him that the religious leaders of Christ’s day had called Jesus a devil. He should not worry about the opposition from family and fellow ministers. Branham had been told by fortune-tellers in impromptu meetings that he had a special gift of God and was born under a sign. The angel assured him that even devils had confirmed that Jesus was the Christ and not to be concerned by the testimony of fortune-tellers” (Brother Branham, pp. 74, 75, 79)
This was the extent of Branham testing the spirits. Which was lacking greatly for what he was being led h into.
His sermons were at times interlaced with foreign teachings from the Bible: “…But now what if He comes…See, that was the days gone by, back in the Pentecostal days. We’re living ahead of that now. We are beyond Pentecost, the same as we are Methodist and Lutheran. We’re way on up to the coming of the Lord, where the ministry that Jesus Christ exercised, Himself, has to be exactly. Like the headstone on the pyramid, has to be honed till every stone fits perfectly. And the church has got to get in that condition to receive the Headstone, then take the whole thing in the resurrection, when the Body is raised up… ” (The Spoken Word by William Marrion Branham, Phoenix Series 1964; Looking Unto Jesus 4, Vol.22 No.2; p. 25 )
Branham was killed in car accident and was buried under a pyramid shaped tombstone in Indiana showing his influence by occultism; that he continued to believe strongly in mixing occult concepts with the Bible till the end.
With discernment at nearly 0 level the church had accepted Branham. Why? The Charismatics motto is- By experience we will travel, by supernatural power we will be convinced.
The roots are what matter; error begets error; the Latter Rain action of laying of hands passes the spirit to others and as they willingly sit under Latter Rain teaching, they are convinced all the more.
Latter Rain teachings have progressive revelation, new revelation, Joel’s Army, Manchild doctrine, Replacement Theology, Post-Millennial Eschatology, Post-denominational Church, Signs and Wonders, Restoration of Apostles and Prophets, and Kingdom Now/Dominion Theology and a host of other unbiblical teachings.
Now we come to the main point – the Elijah List. Don’t let the name of a true prophet being used fool you, they have nothing to do with Elijah or true prophecy- they are a group of men and woman claiming to represent the Lord (as stated in Mt.24) attributing to the Lord anything that comes to their mind.
We live in the days of diminished discernment and the intimidation with fear to judge teaching. Now we have a group of prophets all desiring to be like Branham.
Steve Shultz Founder and Publisher The ElijahList & ElijahRain magazine has numerous of the prophets featured endorse Branham, considering that they call themselves prophets you wonder how they can be so blind to Branham’s departure of Scripture.
On his website- Prophetic TV, Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do psychics have a prophetic gift from God?
After weak explanation by use of Scripture to prove we are born with spiritual gifts (this is not true one must be born again for them)
“…God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.”
As you look around in society, you can see that there are people with many different giftings: in music, art, sports, politics, business, education, science, and many other areas of endeavor. Some of these people use their gifts for the glory of God, and some use their gifts for their own selfish, and even demonic, purposes.
We believe that it is quite likely that people who end up operating as psychics were born with a prophetic gifting from God, which has been turned to a wrong use which the Father did not intend.” http://www.prophetic.tv/faqs.php
This idea certainly opens up one to just about anything as being valid, so it is not surprising that they would accept Branham without any testing of doctrine. It is even more objectionable that these men claim to be prophets (last day prophets) and are unable to discern.
On his website Shultz introduces Paul Keith Davis: “William Branham: A Forerunner Ministry and Prototype of the Bridal Company” by Paul Keith Davis: Mar 6, 2009: WhiteDove Ministries- From the desk of Steve Shultz:
“Paul Keith Davis takes us back in history to a time of William Branham, who was a minister during the earlier part of the 20th century. There is much to be learned from and sought after in this man’s extraordinary prolific life with signs and wonders following him. As Paul Keith shares, we have much to look forward to in our present day generation:
“A divine presence distinguished Branham’s life and ministry. He was given glimpses into the plan and destiny of Heaven for individuals and corporate bodies. His ministry was a forerunner model that foresaw the impact of a body of Believers who will emerge in our day and embody the living Word. The signs and wonders that follow will release a bridal revival that will be identified according to John 14:12—a ‘greater works’ generation.”
Enough said, you’ll have to read more for yourself…enjoy!
Here are also a couple of resources that will help you to supernaturalize and operate in the breakthrough anointing:
He then mentions “Operating in the Breakthrough- Forerunner Anointing by Dutch Sheets.
Paul Keith Davis:
“William Branham: A Forerunner Ministry and Prototype of the Bridal Company” During the early 1930s an extraordinarily gifted prophet began to emerge as a spiritual leader of a new ministry model. His name was William Branham. He was a very simple, uneducated man raised in the hills of Kentucky and ordained as a Baptist minister. Even so, God wonderfully graced this humble man with a revelatory gift and supernatural power not seen since the early Church. Not only were the miracles and healings that accompanied his ministry astounding, but he was also shown numerous future events with remarkable accuracy that now are a matter of historical record.
Following a series of evangelistic meetings, Branham held a baptismal service on June 11, 1933, for new converts. Some four thousand people lined the banks of the Ohio River to observe and celebrate the service. While baptizing the seventeenth person, a whirling amber light descended from Heaven and rested directly above Branham. Virtually all the witnesses present could see this supernatural sign. Many eyewitnesses ran in fear, while others fell to their knees and worshipped because they recognized this was God doing something truly extraordinary.”
“In this experience God gave William Branham a forerunner message for his life and ministry. I believe he was a token or prototype of an entire body of people who will emerge as Jesus’ bridal company. By his own acknowledgment, Branham was a harbinger of something new and fresh the Lord planned for the last days. This supernatural dimension will be commonplace in end-time life and ministry.’
This commonplace is what is identified as the prophetic movement- better known by those more astute in the Bible as the apostasy.
“This public display of God’s awesome power framed a heavenly intention. No design of Heaven is ever administered futilely. Every word and demonstration that proceeds from the mouth and hand of God will return fruitfully. A Kingdom message for today’s Church was sent to that prior generation—and we are responsible for its consummation. The Living Word desires to rest in His Bride. Jesus wants to become flesh once more and demonstrate His Kingdom power and redemptive virtue.
This was what the prophets that were involved with Wimber said that changed the Vineyard church for the worse. Mike Bickle and others spoke of him incarnating in the church- in other words the latter rain teaching of the manifest sons of god. “… when the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us we beheld the glories of the only begotten of the Father and when YOU begin to become that Word, I want you to know the world will behold the glory of the Father and that’s what we’re waiting to see. I want you In now that we’re going to have some channeling one of these days, but it’s going to be channeled right out of the throne room of heaven” (VINEYARD Prophetic Conference. 1989, transcripts)
The Church IS Jesus Christ come in the flesh (as Early Paulk believed).
As does Benny Hinn “When I stand in Christ – I am one with Him; united to Him; one spirit with Him. I am not, hear me, I am not a part of Him, I am Him! The Word has become flesh in me!”(Benny Hinn The Anointing, p. 520)
The “Day of the Lord” is re-interpreted by the false prophets to mean that Christ will come to His Church and incarnate (become God in flesh) an army of believers” ( JOEL’S ARMYJewel Grewe DISCERNMENT MINISTRIES)
Like Branham that prophesied falsely: “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” And may it be again, Lord, that the Word will become flesh, It’ll pour through Thy church and Thy people, to fulfill the promises of the hour” (A Paradox, Westward Ho Hotel, Phoenix, AZ, 1965)
Paul Keith Davis goes on bragging on Branham’s abilities. And descents into near idol worship– Early Supernatural Models
“Branham had several supernatural experiences for which he had no frame of reference or ability to understand. Neither he nor those with whom he was in ministry relationship comprehended the revelatory realm of God. …very few people had personally experienced this supernatural dimension of God. …the Spirit showed him things that would occur in the future. He shared those encounters openly with those around him. To everyone’s amazement, the events came to pass in precisely the manner he predicted. Tremendous healings frequently accompanied his revelatory experiences.
It wasn’t until an angelic visitation on May 7, 1946, though, that Branham came to understand more fully the purpose and validity of the supernatural dimension into which he had been thrust. This minister of God was desperate to understand the spiritual realms he was witnessing or he would die trying. He set his intent on discovering whether his visions and trances were from God or from the enemy. He loved the Lord too much to allow deception to rule him.
Branham withdrew to a secluded wooded area in rural Indiana. There was no food, electricity, or other provision. All he did was lay before God in humility and sincerity. Wonderfully, the Lord answered the cry of His servant. An angel was sent to Branham and told him about his life and calling in a face to face encounter. This heavenly messenger came to impart spiritual understanding and a divine commission.
(Paul Keith and Wanda Davis WhiteDove Ministries)
These same words and concept were echoed by Mike Bickle “… and they (apostles, prophets) do things that you have no frame of reference for understanding because, believe me, what’s going to be coming down in the next twenty years you and I have no frame of reference for understanding. It is going to be so unusual you are not going to be able to look at the word for every manifestation and find one there because the Spirit of the Lord has so many manifestations that you and I know nothing about.” (Divine Appointment [Introduction], Mike Bickle, 3/29/89, cassette tape)
Where do the apostles teach to go into the Spiritual realm? God will occasionally give a vision or dream, if one looks carefully we find these were throughout the course of a lifetime and not lasting for days or months, nor were they consistent in the New Testament that is training believers to walk by the word in this dark world.
Many may not be aware of the similarities of Joseph Smith who also retreated into the woods asking God for wisdom and was approached by unearthly beings that he thought were either angels or Christ himself.
To understand white dove ministries is about one only needs to read their promotion of Branham and Latter Rain.
Paul Keith and Wanda Davis: “Special Bulletin from the Mount of Olives in Israel: Messengers of His Face Are Coming From Heaven”
And I believe, at least for our nation, there has been a curse on our land because of the lack of the honoring of the fathers. I believe we’re to honor the fathers of the prior generation as well as the fathers of the apostolic age. …In our conference we honored many people like William Branham and A.A. Allan.
“A divine presence distinguished Branham’s life and ministry. He was given glimpses into the plan and destiny of Heaven for individuals and corporate bodies. His ministry was a forerunner model that foresaw the impact of a body of Believers who will emerge in our day and embody the living Word. The signs and wonders that follow will release a bridal revival that will be identified according to John 14:12—a ‘greater works’ generation.” (Paul Keith Davis: “William Branham: A Forerunner Ministry and Prototype of the Bridal Company” by Paul Keith Davis Mar 6, 2009)
What he left out were Branham’s failed words, and a real examination of the words of an “angel” that he claimed was the angel of the Lord (who no longer appears to anyone after he became flesh in Jesus Christ who is now at the right hand of the Father). So as we can see we have a theological problem and a supernatural one. For if the angel is not who he said he is then everything done was a counterfeit of a great magnitude. The bridal revival is right out of the pages of the false Latter Rain as is a greater works generation. Jesus said this to all Christians. From the first century on that greater work has been done through gospel preaching that brings people into the kingdom and the Spirit immediately indwelling them.
Barbie Breathitt on the Elijahlist:“I could go on to talk about William J. Seymour, Maria Woodworth Etter, Alexander Campbell, Alexander Dowie, Smith Wigglesworth, Charles Finney, William Branham, AA Allen, Jack Coe, Charles Price, etc. etc.; all of whom impacted regions and nations for the glory of God.
“Church history has many great supernatural ministers like A.A. Allen, Jack Coe, William Branham and Katherine Kuhlman. They tuned their ears to hear and their hearts to perceive the angelic messengers sent to direct them into the Holy Spirit flow.”
Barbie Breathitt:”The Bride is Entering a New Cycle of Anointing – Releasing His Angels All Over the Globe”)
“The time to receive mantles like Katherine Kuhlman, Aimee Semple McPherson, John G. Lake, Jack Coe, William Branham and others has come! Ask the Lord to take you to higher heights to receive these heavenly mantles. Barbie Breathitt: “New Winds, Keys and Doors: What He Opens No One Can Shut, and What He Shuts No One Can Open”)
Where are we taught to receive mantles in the New Testament? Because it mentions it once with Elisha it now becomes the norm? no one else ever had a mantle passed on. This is how the Latter rain teachers operate, they take phrases or concepts and lift them out of their context, spiritualize them and make themselves sound spiritually insightful.
“On January 16,1956, during the height of the great tent revivals that swept America and the world, William Branham stood up in the church of Philadelphia in Chicago, Illinois, and prophesied that “America had turned down her opportunity with the Lord.” Because William Branham was the forerunning prophetic voice of the day, the tent revivals and the move of the Holy Spirit literally stopped at this word. They were offered an incredible opportunity into the supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit at that critical juncture that would carry the body further down the road in revival. But America missed her opportunity–she refused God’s offer!
Then 50 years later On January 16, 2006, this 50 year destiny door was reopened and another opportunity had been offered to this generation. The number 50 is Jubilee!! The Lord called this door a “Golden Jubilee.” This invitation must be understood and apprehended as we pass through the doors of destiny, and encounter the Lord in genuine and experiential ways” (Jeff Jansen: “THE GLORY REVIVAL AND THE NEW CIRCUIT RIDERS” By Jeff Jansen Feb 17, 2007).
This is the kind of teaching that takes place when one departs the word of God into another interpretation often by experience.
How is 2006 the jubilee (a golden Jubilee- Says who? Not God)
The exclusive offer for the opportunity into the supernatural flow of the Holy Spirit is now opened but was not before this? This even goes against the false prophets that through the 80’s, and 90’s that said it was taking place. The fact is God never stopped working and the Jesus revival of the 70’s in America counters this false accusation.
Glory Dates Leading Us to Glory
“After this experience that occurred on May 7, I realized that May 7, was another important date on God’s calendar. William Branham had been commissioned to the healing ministry on that date by an angel in 1946.
This was also the date that Mike Bickle, and the Church in Kansas City, began a 21-day fast for revival in 1983. Bob Jones had declared that a comet would come on the day the fast began, which would be unpredicted by scientists, and be a sign that revival would surely come. The sign happened on May 7, just as he had foretold. They all thought revival would come immediately after the fast ended in 1983.
However, Bob had a dream on the last day of the fast and told Mike the following: “The Lord spoke to me in a dream last night, and told me He is not going to break loose in the revival in the way that we all thought. God never said that it would begin after the fast. We only assumed it would. The Lord says, ‘No! There is an appointed time and appointed season for America, and when the Lord says it’s time, it will not be one day late.’”
Todd Bentley also had a visitation on Mother’s Day, 2005. He was told that the healing ministry would begin that day. He was also told that the kingly anointing would begin on Mother’s Day, and he understood that to be the apostolic ministry. He heard the Lord speak to him audibly “Acts 5:12 begins today.” And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people, Acts 5:12.” (Kari Browning: “The Appointed Time Has Come” By Kari Browning Jun 9, 2006)
I would think a lot of people want a redo with what they said about Todd Bentley. And who would be those apostles be today? The very ones who are leading us away from the Scripture with supernatural doctrines that are made up, those who promote Branham. They cite Branham but yet Branham said the revival was over when he was alive.
Will the charismatics finally admit they are denying what is written and exalting ungodly supernatural experiences over the word? With mystic teachings like these is it any wonder the church is in such bad shape. People visit the Elijah list website day after day and actually believe that these people are prophets.
Let me leave you with this last quotation by Branham where A newspaper photographer asked permission to take a picture and the result was the famous so called Pillar of Fire seen resting on Brother Branham’s ‘right’ shoulder.
“I’ve been convinced since that day He met me on the river! Hallelujah! I’m convinced that He’s here now! I’m convinced that that Pillar of Fire is the same Pillar of Fire that was with Israel in the wilderness, is the same Pillar of Fire with the Church in this. Glory! I’m convinced It’s right! I’ve give my life for It! I’ve left home and everything else; give everything for It! I’m convinced It’s the Truth!
“That Angel met me up there and told me what he did. I stood before heathens by the thousands and tens of thousands. You say, “Aren’t you afraid?” No, sir! I’m convinced that It come from God! I’m convinced because it was Scriptural! I’m convinced that It’s the Angel of the Lord. I believe it with all that’s in my heart. I’m convinced if we would ask God for anything, He’d give it to us. He’s just here. Don’t be scared. He’s here.”
“I’m convinced that that very Spirit that you feel, the Holy Spirit that is moving in us, I’m convinced that that’s Christ. Amen! I’m convinced that, right now, that This is what I’m looking at, this Circle of Light before me, I’m convinced that’s the Holy Spirit! I’m convinced that vision is over my eyes! I know it is. Amen!…”
“I’m convinced that the same Angel that come down in the form of a Man and talked to Abraham with His back turned to the tent (yet knowing the thoughts in Sarah’s heart), is the same One here tonight. He promised it would be. I believe that that same Angel anoints us, because It was God. Do you believe it?” (CONVINCED THAN CONCERNED, June 10, 1962).
No I don’t! What angel anoints? Could it be the cherub that was over God’s throne that comes as an angel of light. When the church is willing to believe what miracle men say without checking the Scripture.
“….Now, it’s (Pillar of Fire) circling the building. The whole building’s anointed, the whole place. I’m convinced that the Presence of Jesus Christ will heal every person here. Are you convinced the same? You convinced that I tell you the Truth, God vindicates I’m telling you the Truth?” (CONVINCED THAN CONCERNED, June 10, 1962).
Being convinced of something by experience does not mean it’s actually true, many people are convinced of many different things. Does this look like the same pillar that protected Israel in the wilderness as a fire at night and as a cloud in the day? Branham says the circle of light is the Holy Spirit? Biblically, this light was the Shekinah glory of God, when Saul on the Damascus road was stopped by its appearance he was converted. He said it appeared brighter than the sun in mid day. How can anyone believe this is the same glory?
The Angel of the Lord does not anoint us, he is no longer functioning. The New Testament does NOT mention THE angel of the LORD (but an angel of the lord sent to announce Jesus’ birth to the shepherds -Lk.2:9, an angel of the lord came to roll the stone away -Mt.28:2 and to free the apostles from jail when necessary.) When the Angel of the Lord shows up there was an awe and worship in the Old Testament. Because he is the pre-incarnate Christ, the Son of God. In Hebrew this angel is called Malach Yahweh, this is why his appearances in the Old Testament are called Theophanies. This Angel had God’s name attached to his title, his nature, He is even called the Lord himself- Exod.3.
This messenger called the Angel of the Lord (Yahweh) 50 times and the Angel of God (Elohim) 5 times is God’s mediator for him. Jesus the Son, is this messenger, he appears as a man in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament He became a man, taking on human flesh permanently (unlike Branham who taught that God always had human flesh). Proof that the Angel of the Lord (Yahweh) in the Old Testament no Longer appears in the New Testament times–Because He became man. The Father who sent the Son in the Old Testament did the same in the New, there are no more Theophanies of the Son.
Branham was convinced it was all God without ever applying a true test by Scripture and he successfully convinced others. After reading just some of Branham’s teachings it is difficult to consider him a prophetic model for our generation. Yet, nearly unanimously, every person that is esteemed in the Charismatic/signs and wonders movement endorses Branham. Support of Branham shows a lack in discernment and how immature tone is in the word. Beware of those that promote him or this kind of ministry.

Here is more proof for you about your Bro Branham
There are many who believe that William Branham was a Prophet of God. Some actually believe he was God manifest again as a second type of Christ. Some believe that he is the messenger of Malachi 4 to precede the second coming of the Lord. Our questions are:
* 1.) Was he a prophet of God or a false prophet?
* 2.) Did he preach the true Apostolic Message?
* 3.) Does his doctrine match what Jesus or the Apostles taught?
* 4.) Did he believe what other Apostolics believe?
* 5.) Is the serpent seed doctrine Apostolic, Jewish, Gnostic, or Wiccian mysticism?
The answers to these questions will determine what and who William Branham was. He will be judged by the Word of God and the words spoken by himself. We will not have space to deal with his use of the satanic halo, his seances with his deceased first wife and daughter, or his two attempts at suicide. What William Branham was is contained in his answers to questions asked of him by those who followed him:
Question: “Is it not true that you are not saved unless you have received the Holy Ghost?”
Answer: “There could take about a good five hour discussion on that” (Vol. 1, Conduct, Order, and Doctrine, p 368 Question #77 to William Branham).
Why would it take five hours, when Jesus plainly said in John 3:3-5 that no man can see or enter the Kingdom of God, Christian Judaism, the Church, without being born of the Spirit? This is the new birth.
Branham’s answer to this question comes later and is found under question #49 of the same book: “Therefore the question is, that a man is saved I BELIEVE , if he’s looking to towards Calvary and dies in that estate, CERTAINLY, I BELIEVE HE’LL BE SAVED ”
This “look doctrine” is no where taught by Christ or the Apostles.
Question: “Will only those who have the baptism of the Holy Ghost be in the rapture of the Church, or will all believers be indicated?”
Answer: “We ain’t …we haven’t got time to justify that, but brother, only the Holy Ghost bride will be in the rapture, see? The Bible …the others won’t be lost .” (Ibid Q. p 192 # 40, A. p 271).
Because Branham was a friend to trinitarians like Demos Shakarian, Ray Hookster [Chaplin Ray], and helped found the Full Gospel Christian Businessman’s Fellowship, he would not say these “believers” would be lost without obedience to Acts 2:38.
Question: “Please explain Apostolic Faith.”
Answer: “Now here is my thoughts, it may be wrong. …My thoughts is, that if a Roman Catholic, or whatever he might be, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of Christ, Lutheran, wherever he is, if he believes on the Lord Jesus Christ and solemnly trusting him for salvation, I believe he is saved” (Ibid, pp 672).
Is this the Apostolic Faith of the New Testament?
Why is it that few if any Branham followers preach this same doctrine today, while they believe a person will go to hell if they don’t believe Branham was a prophet?
What motivated Branham to this doctrinal position? The answer is he wanted some comfort for his own lack of spiritual leadership concerning his deceased wife Hope. Hope, his first wife, died while a Trinitarian, had not been baptized according to Acts 2:38. This was Branham’s fault. He knew and had been exposed on his way home from his trip to Benton Harbor, Michigan to the House of David church. At this time Branham was a staunch Primitive Baptist and believed in hyper Calvinism on predestination (born saved or born damned). Branham chose to reject the truth about salvation while his wife was alive. He rejected that he and his wife must be baptized in the name of Jesus Messiah for the remission of sins and receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. His error here caused him to fabricate his own doctrine of salvation wherein he could feel comfort his wife had not died lost in unbelief because of his own spiritual stubbornness.
Branham’s whole doctrine of salvation was founded upon him being able to save and justify his first wife. We will not here be her judge. But Branham cannot use her and her spiritual condition because of his own failure, to push upon the New Testament Church a new doctrine of salvation which Jesus and the Apostles did not teach all nations. His dear wife Hope was looking with faith toward Jesus and we will not deny that. We question whether unfulfilled faith is valid when Acts 2:38 is so clear and to the point on salvation. Supposedly, his wife Hope told Branham Jesus name baptism and Acts 2:38 salvation was correct, but she died without it he remaining steadfast and resolute in his spiritual stubbornness.
This is the foundation of his “look doctrine” and his interpretation of the Bride [Apostolics], and the Trinitarians as friends of the Bride. He has the friends of the Bride being saved by solemnly trusting Christ for salvation although denying Acts 2:38 and the name Jesus being essential in water baptism. In further explanation of his doctrine of salvation and we believe influenced by the condition of Hope as saved or lost, he said this: “I do believe that any person upon their faith and sincerity and walk in all the light they have will be saved” (Ibid Q. 56, p 656).
Based upon this, an Apostolic Minister in the congregation asked Branham:
Question: “Do you believe that Saul was saved.?”
Answer: “The Saul, ..the King Saul?”
The Apostolic replied: “Yes.”
Branham: “Why I am sure.”
I have yet to meet any true Apostolic Minister who believes that Saul died saved. Yet according to Branham he died saved (his doctrine of unconditional eternal security or predestination).
Did William Branham believe Acts 2:38 was the only plan of salvation? We will let him answer for himself:
“I [William Branham] believe if a man was baptized wrong ignorantly [remember this addresses Hope], not knowing that he was baptized wrong, …Now, I can’t say this scripturally, but I believe it with my heart that if a man did not know what to do right, and he did something to the best of his knowledge, I believe that God would overlook that and save him anyhow” (Ibid Q. #54, p 655).
On the issue of speaking in tongues, did William Branham believe a person would speak in tongues as the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost? We will let him answer:
Question: “Can one have the Holy Ghost and not the signs?”
Answer: “I disagree with you that they must speak in tongues. …I would be judge if I said they did not have the Holy Ghost, if they did not speak with tongues.” (Questions and Answers, 1969, Aug 30th, Jeffersonville, Ind).
In the same service William Branham said that speaking in tongues was BABYHOOD. He indicated plainly: Tongues is not the evidence.
What did Branham teach concerning women cutting their hair:
“I [William Branham] say one thing I wished, …Now, I know my kids has done that too, Rebekah and Sarah, I seen when they cut their hair off in front, like this, …I don’t, I …but when they got all long, hanging down like this, and just cut the front of it out of their eyes, little kids maybe, I, I wouldn’t know whether that’d be wrong. (Conduct, Order, And Doctrine, Q #187. p 1102).
So a sister then speaks up and ask him:
Question: “Is it wrong for me to run a beauty shop. I don’t believe in Christians [women] cutting [their own] hair, but I cut others and color also.”
Answer: “Sister dear, I would not know what to tell you” (Ibid Q #250, p 957).
On the subject of jewelry what did Branham teach?
Branham: “Now I don’t mean by that Sister, if you had a pin, …now this is me, not the Lord, if you had a pin that you wanted to wear, or little necklace your husband gave you or maybe your …something like that you wore, I don’t think that’s bad.” “Now I know you Nazarene people, it used to be that you wouldn’t even baptize a woman with a wedding ring on. See? I, I don’t believe that as necessary. In the Bible they wore wedding rings, only it was a tablet they called it, around their head” (Ibid Q #65 & 66, p 1008).
What did Branham teach about belong to secret cults with blood oaths and satanic doctrines?
Question: “Brother Branham, is there anything wrong with belonging to a secret lodge, after we have become a Christian, such as the Masons?”
Answer: “No Sir! You can be a Christian wherever you are. I don’t care where you are, you can still be a Christian.” (Ibid Q 162, p 680).
It has been alleged by many that Branham had been a Mason. Some believe he was mixed up possibly in Wicca or influenced somehow by it. He bragged about the Masons helping him when he was a boy and needed medical help. He never once spoke against this cult although he was quick to denounce the UPC and other Jesus name groups and independent churches as cults. His trips into the woods at night for spiritual encounters makes us wonder if he was into some neo-wiccian experience like Joseph Smith and his woods experiences with supposed angels that turned out to be wiccian visits. The visit of the spirit in his private shack in the woods at night gives us suspicions especially after he started using mystic methods in his meetings. Many high ranking world Masons in government and business and involved in wicca and satanism received him by a mysterious hand grip. How could he have known these secret signs and grips without being a member himself?
Branham believed in a Pre-Tribulation rapture and predicted 1977. He believed the writings of the Jewish Kabbalah and the Talmud were sacred. He taught the doctrine of Lilith and the serpent seed. He claimed to be a Protestant. He taught that Martin Luther was God’s servant and messenger. In his book The Seven Church Ages, Branham said: “Now Martin Luther, himself, was a sensitive Spirit-filled Christian. He was definitely a man of the Word.” What did Martin Luther say about himself? “While I slept and drank my beer with dear Melanchthon at Arnsdorf, I gave the papacy such a shock.” We Apostolics are shocked also, more so by Branham’s claim that this beer-swilling Protestant was “Spirit-filled and a man of the Word.
The serpent seed doctrine came out of the perverted Jewish Kabbalah and the Babylonian Talmud. Was Branham a god, a junior elohim, a malaki, a spirit being manifested, an avatar, a magician using the name of Jesus for his miracles? Did Branham claim to be God or an angel manifested? Many believe he was a god. Some believe he was an angel manifest on par with Michael and Gabriel. They use the word “angel” to mean more than a man, a spirit being incarnated.
Some of his followers made him Jesus Christ manifest again, they baptized in his name for the remission of sins. In the autobiography, “Footsteps In The Sand Of Time,” Branham claims Moses and Elijah were manifestations of God. He challenges his followers to look at him and see if they do not see the same God manifested again and he was not refering to a move of the Spirit u pon his life, but a real incarnation. After his untimely and sad death, many went to his grave and held vigils expecting him to self-resurrect himself and prove to the world he was God.
What about the serpent seed doctrine (a rebuttal soon to be published at this site)? This doctrine comes to us via Jewish mysticism and a reinterpretation of the fall of Adam and Eve embodied in Babylonian, Jewish, and other branches of gnosticsm. The sexual orgies of the mystery cults reenacted the serpent seed interpretation ad part of their rites and rituals that were started by Nimrod and his sister/wife Semiramas. The serpent seed doctrine is not a revelation of God. It is an old corruption and reinterpretation that was used in the Baal religion in the Old Testament.
A tape recording of the serpent seed doctrine that was made prior or subsequent to Branham coming out with it, and possibly the message that converted him to the doctrine, is in my possession. In it, the white races are the good seed and the negro and mingled races are the serpent’s seed.
Many Jews interpreted the serpent seed to be the Gentiles in their Talmud. The doctrine comes from Babylonian gnosticism and the Jewish adoption of the sexual reinterpretation of the fall they wrote afterward into the Kabbalah and their Talmud. This doctrine is the basis of Jewish gnosticism and is incorporated into all branches of Judaism today that rejects Jesus as the Messiah. It is a false doctrine through and through.
Clearly, William Branham was a mystic and not an Apostolic. He did not preach the Apostles’ Doctrine. He did not believe in the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation. He did not believe in the essentially of the new birth of water and Spirit baptisms to be saved. He accepted trinitarianism and trinity groups as being saved. He believed membership in blood oath secret societies was acceptable. Do not judge Branham by his miracles for devils working through men and women can do miracles, read palm vibrations, and read their fortunes by divination. Rather, judge Branham by the Word of God, not his claims nor the claims of his followers. Judge him by his word and his testimony for by it, he like all others shall be judged or condemned by their words.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (MAT 7:22-23).
If ever there was a man who fits this description, William Branham was that man.
True Apostolics rejected Branham very early in his ministry because he was heady and high-minded and would not heed their counsel. He refused to have fellowship with them except where they compromised with him and condoned his false doctrines. Rejecting us, he choose the pulpits of trinitarians and others. His rejection of us and accepting our baptism in Acts 2:38, although not as essential, will never make him an Apostolic.
We conclude then that William Branham was not a prophet of God. And if he ever was a true prophet, which this writer has found no evidence, he surrendered it up when he began to dabble in the occult and other mystic practices and tried to incorporate these into his ministry with spiritualist tricks, as the works of God.
Those of you who are Branhamites, if you do not believe it is Godly and holy to be a member of the Masonic Lodge cult, then you also believe Branham was a false prophet on this. If you believe it is a sin and it is unGodly for a woman to cut, trim, or dye her hair, then you also believe Branham was a false prophet on this. If you believe the Holy Ghost baptism is essential to salvation with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, then you MUST also believe Branham was a false prophet when he taught a person did not need to receive this Baptism, all they had to do was believe in their heart and look toward calvary. If you believe that a person MUST be baptized according to Acts 2:38 by faith to be saved, then you also must believe Branham was a false prophet for teaching a person could be saved without baptism in the Name Of Jesus Messiah, and just believe for full salvation.
In the months I have had this posted on the internet I have had many hate letters from Branhamites. Most admit he was wrong on these important issues but they refuse to call him a false prophet . These same individuals when asked admitted that if the Mormons, Baptist, Catholics, Methodist, Church of Christ, Charismatics, et al, taught what Branham taught on these issues they would be false prophets. Why then, refuse they to admit against Branham what they easily and without alarm charge against other groups who allow membership in the Masonic lodge and these other sins? They will not admit Branham was a false prophet because to do so would force them to seek other fellowships where these things are preached against and that is exactly what they do NOT WANT. They do not want a man to Pastor them in the Apostolic Truth. They want their Pastor to be a dead man who cannot exercise authority over them. They can be free-wheelers, Church hoppers, and home destroyers and be under subjection to no man. They do not want to attend a Church that stands against Branham and against his heresies. So they remain Branhamites and do not tell their converts what Branham believed that they believe is false. Branham made mistakes you say! No, not mistakes, these are grave and serious doctrinal issues that will cause many to be lost and end up in a devil’s hell. I want to save these innocent and unsuspecting souls from this horror. That is why I have posted this study on the internet.
With love toward all and malice toward none.

Admin ( Deleted comment) perfect victor we don’t have time for silly arguments please. You are wasting your time and our time.

I do hope and pray you find the truth.
2 Peter 2:1-3 (Amplified Bible)
1 BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings; because of them the true Way will be maligned and defamed.
3And in their covetousness (lust, greed) they will exploit you with false (cunning) arguments. From of old the sentence [of condemnation] for them has not been idle; their destruction (eternal misery) has not been asleep.
Take care please.
Thank you and God bless you.

Glad to have been able to help you find the truth about your Bro Branham perfect victor and please heed to the warnings. :-)
William Branham’s teachings are really not Biblical.
read Acts 2:38 is God still calling today? Also look at colossians 3:17and lets ask ourselves did Peter misinterpret the scripture? for he was present when Jesus was speaking in matthew28:19
concerning the Godhead youcan read Isaiah 9:6 with Collosians 2:9.
there is one thing for sure Paul and Peter preached the true gospel and the same gospel is for ALL THAT THE LORD OUR GOD WILL CALL when Paul found some disciples in Acts 19 who had not received the Holy Spirit he rebaptized them in the ONLY NAME BY WHICH WE ARE SAVED LORD JESUS CHRIST.
concerning serpents seed here is a scripture 1 john 3:12
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
Paul
Paul and Peter did preach the truth. Branham is and never was an Apostle so cannot be placed in the same sentence as Paul. And Branham never preached the truth. If Branham did his words would be in the Bible but they are not, for no man preaches the truth except the Holy Spirit written words of the Authors of the Books of the Bible.
Concerning the serpent seed, Branham believed that SATAN had SEX with EVE. You can’t change what Branham believed to try make him seem good.
So you agree in Jesus Only teaching?
Do you believe that the Trinity is of the Devil?
Do you believe in the Zodiac and astrology and divination?
WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE INTEREST IN FOOLISH ARTICLES AS THIS PARTICULAR ONE?IS IT NOT BECAUSE W.BRANHAM IS VERY IMPORTANT PERSONALITY ? ONLY A FOOL WILL WASTE HIS TIME TO CRITIZE WHAT IS RIGHT.A WHOLE WEBSITE DEDICATED TO CRITICISMS!FOOLISH AND SATANIC CHILDREN,HELL IS DEFINITELY WAITING FOR SUCH.
EBEN KASS
Why are you writing your comment all in capitals?
Have you heard about discernment?
Nope it is all about Discernment read again.
Nope again it is a fact that Wiliam Branham does not teach Biblical teachings. Wiliam Branham is a false Prophet and teaches Evil things. Wiliam Branham is only important to those who want to believe his lies. You know there is a huge difference between critisize and heeding warnings.
Take note Eben this is a Discernment Blog and please go learn about discernment in the Bible :-)
EBEN KASS
Please read all the comments on this thread as it seems you are misunderstanding things.
Eben
Why do people come with foolish comments such as yours? Is it because you are blinded by William Branhams lies? Only a fool will follow William Branham and criticise those who show him to be false. A whole comment dedicated to criticism. Foolish and Satanic children follow Branham, Hell is definitely waiting for such.
Elmarie
Nope, Eben does not misunderstand anything. Eben’s comment is par for a William Branham follower.
Deborah (Discerning the World)
Sighs ………..yip I hear you yeah…..and agree yes.
To all that have asked let me answer to my best the questions directed to me
So you agree in Jesus Only teaching?
nope.Jesus only doctrine is not specific on the Jesus name that they use to baptize but as for me i believe in being specific about Jesus that HE IS BOTH LORD AND CHRIST to me.i believe that for Jesus to be born He had to have a Father.just as the apostles believed.
Do you believe that the Trinity is of the Devil?
read James 3:9 it says we are made in GOD’S LIKENESS if He made you in His likeness and He is a trinity why, isnt the bible contradicting itself?yet i believe the bible is the only perfect book this mystery is simple judge for yourselves.Isaiah 9:6,collosians 2:9,1 timothy 3:16.also Jesus said i am ALPHA AND OMEGA ie first and last.i’ll still be posting more.
thanks
Paul
Oh boy. Ok, well it’s clear you follow another Jesus Christ to the one I serve. Thank you for stopping by. It was lovely chatting to you all be it so short. Toodles.
Do you believe in the Zodiac and astrology and divination?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Earth in its orbit around the Sun causes the Sun to appear on the celestial sphere moving over the ecliptic (red), which is tilted on the equator (blue). In astronomy, the zodiac (Greek: ζῳδιακός, zōdiakos) is the ring of constellations that lines the ecliptic, which is the apparent path of the Sun across the sky over the course of the year. The Moon and planets also lie within the ecliptic, and so are also within the constellations of the zodiac. In astrology, the zodiac denotes those signs that divide the ecliptic into twelve equal zones of celestial longitude. As such, the zodiac is a celestial coordinate system, to be more precise, an ecliptic coordinate system, taking the ecliptic as the origin of latitude, and the position of the sun at vernal equinox as the origin of longitude
here we have to differenciate between astronomy and astrology, astrology is of the Devil while astronomy is the study of heavenly bodies and sytems,i know that all things that God created tell us of His glory, and if God has opened one’s eyes to see Him in a different way from you, then appreciate, that was the way it is in places where they dont have a written bible God opens the eyes of some through nature, heavenly bodies are part of God’s nature.when the magi saw a star which was peculiar though maybe they God thru His GRACE revealed to them that a King was born and they left their paganism and travelled from far East just to bring presents and worship the King.
did you know that in the bible there are teachings derived directly from nature 1 cor 11:14 among others.
astrology and divination is of the DEVIL
well it’s clear you follow another Jesus Christ to the one I serve,
i agree.
Paul
Paul somehow I get the feeling you are here to deceive people. Are you?
Utter nonsense Paul. Go read your Bible in context please!! Pray for guidance that the Holy Spirit help you understand the Word of God. STOP twisting the Word of God.
1 Corinthians 11:2-16
Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
11:2-16 Here begin particulars respecting the public assemblies, ch. 1Co 14. In the abundance of spiritual gifts bestowed on the Corinthians, some abuses had crept in; but as Christ did the will, and sought the honour of God, so the Christian should avow his subjection to Christ, doing his will and seeking his glory. We should, even in our dress and habit, avoid every thing that may dishonour Christ. The woman was made subject to man, because made for his help and comfort. And she should do nothing, in Christian assemblies, which looked like a claim of being equal. She ought to have power, that is, a veil, on her head, because of the angels. Their presence should keep Christians from all that is wrong while in the worship of God. Nevertheless, the man and the woman were made for one another. They were to be mutual comforts and blessings, not one a slave, and the other a tyrant. God has so settled matters, both in the kingdom of providence and that of grace, that the authority and subjection of each party should be for mutual help and benefit. It was the common usage of the churches, for women to appear in public assemblies, and join in public worship, veiled; and it was right that they should do so. The Christian religion sanctions national customs wherever these are not against the great principles of truth and holiness; affected singularities receive no countenance from any thing in the Bible.
The only point where you are correct. We could never agree with your twisted believes Paul.
